1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So BAT finally hit the exchanges... what's next? on: June 03, 2017, 03:23:05 PM
The whales who own the majority of the coins are in it for the long term, meaning the amount of BATs that are actually available to trade with will be limited, I believe the price will rise massively once the coin starts being put to use.

When their program  with BAT started and out into used, it will really rise up. They have a good project here and backup by a devs which is former developer of firefox. He build his reputation already, thats why tehre are many people supports this project.

I still don't see why anybody wants to pay with some crypto to get rid of ads which is what the point of this is as far as I know... what's the catch? most people that use cryptocurrencies are smart enough to use adblockers anyway.

1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / POSWallet is insanely undervalued and will go to $1+ on: June 03, 2017, 01:04:43 PM
This coin has an actual useful purpose and has a circulating supply of 41 million, with a total supply of 70 million. It's officially supported by Trezor, has been paying dividends since day 1 so the team is legit, and has good stuff on the pipeline:

https://icotimeline.com/category/poswallet-updates/

A lot of people got trolled by whales to dump it so they can accumulate it, get higher dividends and stake payouts:

Masternodes are coming in July, and people will flock into Poswallet.com to stake ETH once ETH goes PoS, because it's the easiest way to do it.

If you are looking for coins under a dollar that can hit $1, this is a contender to have on mind. Everything else is too pumped at this point.

1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / So BAT finally hit the exchanges... what's next? on: June 03, 2017, 12:16:00 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/basic-attention-token/

BAT Is here, and allegedly, the ICO was a mess and now 50%+ of the supply is controlled by whales because nobody was able to properly buy due the high as hell gas prices.

Will not the price go down?

Circulating Supply
1,000,000,000 BAT
Total Supply
1,500,000,000 BAT

Price:

$0.164736

Marketcap:

$164,676,000

We need $1,000,000,000 to reach 1 dollar

There's only 8 coins in the billion dollar marketcap. Can BAT have a place there? I don't think so. Which means this coin is probably never going to hit $1.

Meanwhile coins like Poswallet have a 41 million marketcap and are under 1 cent

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/posw-coin/

This is a real $1+ contender. Buy that one imo.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's impossible to invest in crowded ICOs on: June 02, 2017, 06:48:03 PM
I recommend everyone to look at the BAT price evolution to learn what happens when an ICO gets obviously cornered by huge whales that have more than 50% of the total supply.

If it goes up and explodes in price, then it shows it's still a good idea to hold some even tho it's basically a scam, if you can profit it's not fully a scam anymore.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 02, 2017, 05:49:59 PM
I know a friend that is in Cardiff to watch the final live and he was asked to pass through a ton of police protection barriers. There are blocks of stone in the streets to stop any possible kamikaze attack with cars like the ones we've been seeing lately. There are police and military everywhere. I hope it goes well without any bad surprises.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XBY] XtraBYtes Speculation on: June 02, 2017, 02:41:12 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xtrabytes/

The graph looks pumped as fuck, but of course, one year from now it may be nothing but a small bump in the road.

The problem is, its total supply is 650,000,000 coins. This means we need a $650,000,000 marketcap, which means the coin needs to be a top10 coin... do you really think this coin can take out some of the top10 coins?
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's impossible to invest in crowded ICOs on: June 02, 2017, 01:55:07 PM
isn't the tezos one unlimited? that makes it even more of ridiculous proposition than the other ones. this is all gonna come crashing down at some point. it won't be allowed to continue.

I don't know the conditions of the Tezos ICO yet, but granted, if the ICO is unlimited, it's absolute nonsense because it's going to create a massive pump and dump where people drop loads at the very beginning for an ideal price.

I believe the Bancor ICO was trying to propose some sort of solution for the ICO so it was posponed.

I think it's going to be impossible.

Now on the BAT ICO:

https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/basic-attention-token/#charts

Price is at $0.16. What was the price at the ICO? Total supply is 1,5 billion, I don't see how this isn't going to crash unless it becomes a top 5 coin which I doubt.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / It's impossible to invest in crowded ICOs on: June 01, 2017, 05:44:11 PM
Look at the Mysterium and BAT ICOs: absolute mess. Only big whales were able to buy because they pump gas prices to make to impossible for the average guy to get any coins. Now they control most of the supply.

I wanted to try my luck in Bancor, Tezos and maybe another ones, seeing that a lot of ICOs have delivered good ROI, but I suspect it's going to be impossible and we the common folk is going to be doomed into waiting the token to hit the exchanges to buy any.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 01, 2017, 04:12:30 PM
Legit 50-50 this one. Madrid may look as the favorite, for having a better team, but Juve are no joke. And Allegri is the best manager in Europe right now. So there are pluses and minuses for both sides.

If you are going to be gambling in sports, you can also choose for a tie, but unfortunately this is a final match so someone must win.

Im going with Madrid because Cristiano Ronaldo is the ultimate scoring machine, so Juve is at constant danger of getting scored. He has too much experience, too much endurance. He could score at the last minute and you are fucked.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 01, 2017, 03:19:19 PM
Juventus 2 - Real Madrid 2 , Madrid wins in extra time  Grin

if pinatlty kick, chance juventus to win above real madrid, goal keeper juventus bufon is very experience and above goal keeper real madrid

Bufon its past his prime. He will not be able to stop Cristiano Ronaldo for sure, too fast.

Anyway, I think we will see Juventus 2 - Real Madrid 3, it will be 2-2 at minute 90, then Real will score before penalties, and that's it.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the hell is going on with Stratis? on: June 01, 2017, 02:39:26 PM
Stratis is basically a platform like Etherium. It is on c# coding language so it is native to Microsoft products - that's why we might see some nice deals here.
Because it is "like" Etherium, i also expect at least 1 billion market cap, which is x2 of the current one. It is just a good coin that is having some nice development. Same thing could happen with Lisk.
I would say it will go to about $10 for sure. Smiley
Why do people think if something is like ETH instantly must have great success? This belief is wrong, and will be paid very expensive. Yes Stratis really looking good and maybe can hit 500k next time. LISK is already pretty high, now is not the time for entry, LISK just didn had luck, from the start.

It's the current crypto meta. Everything using Ethereum technology = ETH so automatically that must mean it's going to have the success of ETH. You should mind this meta when trading, not just follow logical assumptions, cause the market is moving on human decisions and emotions and these are most times illogical.

At the current price of 5.7 dollars, and at a similar total supply of Ethereum at 100 million, can Stratis reach ETH's price? even 50 would be enough to make a killing.

What is the value proposition of this thing? other than counting on markets acting irrational, you want to have some foundation for the pump to be sustained overtime.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the hell is going on with Stratis? on: May 31, 2017, 05:41:03 PM
If you invested 1 BTC in the ICO you would have like 300 BTC... pretty crazy. Isn't this the highest paying ICO ever? the ROI is insane. Which is why im considering investing a couple of ICOs and hope at least one blows up. %1000+ would be a great success already. Another STRAT is going to be hard I think.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can you explain Bancor in a way that makes sense? on: May 31, 2017, 04:49:57 PM
Im trying to understand what the point of this proyect is. From what i've gathered, it's some sort of fast-ICO creator where you interact with a bot in a chat and the ICO is created, and BANCOR allows for liquidity.

I honestly don't get it.

Also, considering the ICO is aiming at 10+million, is there any point in buying this at ICO prices, or is it better to buy in the market to avoid any possible instadumps?

I don't normally invest in ICOs but I want to try a couple ones and see where they are a year from now. Some ICO's have had 10000%+ return...

Race was boring can remember when i saw this boring race in Monaco. Hamilton tried but in the end think he was happy with this position, Bottas seem to be little off this race, but Red Bull drivers really tried hard to go on win. In the end you are right Vetter wanted more win then Raikkonen.

Alonso didnt got well in indy500 he retired so it was bad call for him maybe it would be better that he drive here in Monaco, but it was his call.

Alonso did great, he was 1th during 27 laps for his first time ever in an Indy car, he was going faster in the last laps before the motor broke. It was again bad luck for Alonso. If his motor didn't break, he could have reached top5 because he was in overtaking mode.

Dont forget that he was behind Takuma Sato and Sato won.

Watched replay of the race he is really bad luck with Honda, shame he is really good driver but bad luck with Honda is now really bad for Alonso. Dunno if he is considering to retire or what but think that he had enough of them they need to deliver good engine and competitive one. Back in late 80s and early 90s they were very dominant. They can take this likely they need good engine fast. McLaren is becoming shadow of former great team in F1.

Yep this is bad publicity for Honda, as a consumer you look at what is happening in F1 and feel not as inclined to buy an Honda car, even tho I believe Honda mas great cars like the Civic. I also think something specific about the Alonso team is what's wrong because Takuma had a completely different team even tho it's Honda too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmUX6nFKNZk

This double overtake was cool.

1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / When will the alt bubble pop? on: May 30, 2017, 05:49:33 PM
It's ridiculous how Ethereum keeps going up, when will it stop?

Also isn't Litecoin undervalued at this point? Does this mean we are closer than ever to get segwit in Bitcoin?

How stupid is the altcoin market with all those coins going green all the time?

Will it correct son and we'll get all that capital going back to Bitcoin?
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the hell is going on with Stratis? on: May 30, 2017, 03:05:38 PM
Stratis has increased 50x in just a few months.

I didn't see this coming and I refused to buy in with it was around $0.10. Well regret it now.

Anyone else feel like panic buying?

Hindsight is 20/20. It's just ridiculous how coins can go from cents to dollars. Im not going to be the one panic buying so good luck with that.

It's time to find out what the next x100 coin is, not panic buying into the one that already pumped.

I still believe POSW can eventually hit $1.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ICO are you watching next? for me BAT, TEZOS and STATUS on: May 30, 2017, 02:15:20 PM
I think these three ICO has massive potential of giving a good return. what ICO are you watching next and why? I can't wait to get into these three ICOs even if it is 0.5 BTC for each of them. What do you think guys?

Don't basically all ICO's instadump the moment a market opens? why not just wait a bit for the first markets to be established and then buy in the market? I don't want to buy an ICO to get instadumped upon.

I have no idea what BAT and STATUS are buy TEZOS is backed by a billionaire and this may get media attention.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UASF and signature campaings on: May 29, 2017, 04:12:39 PM
who cares about sig spammers income.
maybe they should care more about bitcoin and less about spamming posts for an income

trying to force something in where
only 30% of the nodes want to keep uptodate with the latest core software
https://bitnodes.21.co/nodes/ - Satoshi:0.14.1   (30.54%)

only 32% of pools want segwit
http://bitcoin.sipa.be/ver9-2k.png

and even on litecoin the pools are not even using segwit.. their blockrewards remain as L addresses not segwit 3 addresses.
discusfish(f2pool) - LajyQBeZaBA1NkZD...
litecoinpool.org - LTCPodKwHJoVsRJn...
givemecoins - LachGCFMERH3SbVB...
multipool.us - LTr4CoxaLaKLRn9x...

just goes to show how many are actually wanting to change

what should be don now is not make it mandatory activation.. but instead make a plan B. something the community can accept.
no more cludgy code of bad maths, temporary/empty gestures of hope and fake features.. but actual code that can actually do the job

most of these blockstream huggers have no clu how segwit even works after activation. and should have spent more time reading code and learning the reality of it and not just sig spammed for income their fake worship of wanting core as their god.

to: pereira4 &billy bob. no matter how much you kiss ass copying each others glossy images of pie charts and scripted out of context crap. most people care more about the code than your sig spamming wishes

An indonesian school dropout posting in broken english has more value than your broken record blockstream/core FUDding.

Anyway, this is not only about signature campaign but any payments.

For example, if I use betcoin.ag, I want to know if they will pay in UASF or legacy coins after a poker match.

I wish Bitmain would give up on his covert ASICBOOST scam for the betterment of bitcoin and just activated segwit already, but since they control the hashrate with covert ASICBOOST and want to keep milking high fees indefinitely, we will need to go through the clusterfuck that UASF is. Have fun and thank Jihad for any price crashes.
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily reminder: The covert ASICBOOST scam is not fixed with segwith hardfork on: May 29, 2017, 03:10:34 PM
What's your reasoning for saying that hard-fork Segwit doesn't prevent ASIC boost, pereira?

As far as I'm aware, Segwit 8MB hard fork (i.e. 2MB base + 6 MB witness, aka Barrycoin) is exactly what it sounds like, a hard fork of the Bitcoin Core Segwit soft fork that includes a 2MB base blocksize and 6MB witness blocks.

COVERT ASICBOOST (note covert) must be removed via softfork. From what i've understood, a hardfork activation doesn't cut it for some reason.

Im ok with a blocksize increase to 2MB, with 1 year of preparation, and with activation of segwit by mining agreement as soon as possible.

Of course this must be all developed by Core because im not installing trash on my computer.
