New update coming for Pandabank in the next 2 days.
- Some GUI enhancements - crash fix on first startup (the crash that a lot of wallets have, 2nd time you run it it's fine) - speed will be 5-10 times faster than the current version (switching tabs/accounts) - crash fix for rare crash for people with a lot of addresses and a lot of transactions in all those addresses
Very nice. One of the enhancements that would be nice would be to have your new wallet addresses automatically added to the quick "Send To" drop down list.

Re: Why is everyone hating on Pandacoin? I think this threads spells it out. There were 3 Pandacoins and one of them was by Woolong. People just assume PND is the Woolong one and so stay away from it even though it's not.

Is there a block explorer?
Bump?

Is someone trying to keep the price down? There's a 7BTC sell wall on Cryptsy.

And regarding you: I'm not interested in your opinion. I'm interested in your intention. And I think I know it. Also, i'm here because my favourite toy (CRYPTcoin) died. It's fucking done. I just want to have the privilege to assist this shiclone into the afterwold too.

Thanks for everyone who donated. I will bring spreadcoin.net back online shortly.
So here is description of the feature that I want to implement. Some may like it while some may not. I want to make this coin for solo only mining without any pools (mining will be made in a such way that miners will be able to consistently steal money from the pool). With blocks generated every minute even with thousands of miners you will still be able to get block once in several days (if you have average hashing speed). There will be no concentration of mining power in large pools as in Bitcoin and there will be no multipools. We can than advertize it as being more decentralized than Bitcoin. Mining will be more like a lottery which may be more interesting or in contrary distract people form mining (however, if you mine for long time than you don't actualy need any pools).
What do you think about this idea?
I already have working implementation but need to polish it in several ways. I like the idea although not sure how you would go about doing that. Delay acceptance until a few people report a block and then randomly select a winner? I think Goldcoin did something where they prevent someone from getting blocks if they previously got some percentage of blocks. They seem to have had a rocky start getting it to work properly though which lead to a lot of controversy from what I can tell. One of the reasons I really like this coin so far is because you can mine with just the CPU. I found it interesting that in an early post Satoshi talked about having a "gentlemans agreement" not to use GPU mining. Funny how that worked out. lol. So anything that prevents hardcore miners from monopolizing things is a good idea in my books. Course there's no way to really stop it but slowing it down would be a good thing in my books.

But they did dumped on the spike... and right before the audit. Got any proof? Yes, common sense. Why would anyone dump the shitcoin to extremely low levels right before the result of an audit ? Of course it was insider-trading info. So, you have no proof is what you're saying. Just your (someone who has come straight out and said he's going around to destroy coins) opinion, speculation and ulterior motives. Cause what I know as "fact", is that BTC was crashing and pulled a bunch of coins down along with it including DRK. They recovered for the most part but because of all the lies about devs disappearing, insider trading yada yada yada, CLOAK did not. Or maybe the whole CLOAK thing failing to be trustless was so earth shattering that it caused BTC, DRK etc to crash. lol

What's the total number of coins available? Can't see it in the OP.

Seems like it was an entertaining pump. I guess things don't always go as planned lol Funny though. Earlier in the day there was this thread and it looks like someone had been buying. Perhaps they dumped on MrNet. lol https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763851.0that was aurora not aero. Oops. So many coins, they sort of blur into each other. lol

Brand new install (I've never installed this before). It installs and I allow it to run. End up with the following error:
Runaway exception EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error CDB(): can't open database file, error 1
Run it again and it's working fine so far downloading the blockchain so it's probably some sort of first run chicken and egg type bug.
The lite wallet will be nice once it's done, but you should also consider having a monthly updated blockchain download for people as well.

I'm confused about something. Why is the wallet I just downloaded pandacoin-2.0.2.0-BETA-win32-setup.exe and the one I downloaded a week ago (and never got around to installing), pandacoin-2.0.2.0-win32-setup.exe. i.e. Notice the version number is exactly the same?

why the coin is going down..soon will equal the price I bought it for in the IPO
but the trade price is falling because until the devs release more features, XCR is just another coin to trade for other coins. I think it has more to do with a major change in the dynamics and when the release occurred. It was a very dynamic captive market on Bter and then it was officially released and people started pulling coins off Bter into their wallets. At the same time, it was added to two more exchanges and people started moving coins to the other exchanges as well. Add to that end of August when people are more into the last gasp of summer, end of the month and a long weekend to boot, it just all adds up to a drop in the price IMO. A lot of coins seem to have really weak buy support right now.

Looks like a new step of mining (manual), renting (manual/auto), hashlet (auto) & have yet to try it. Sounds like something I'll have to look into, will have to see what Tom14Cat14's results are in a week or so. Looks like it's going good so far, cloud mining.. Think I remember talk about this a few months ago, looks promising. Don't think the issue really has anything to do with the results one will get from them. Given everything so far, it looks like they'll be doing whatever they can to keep their zenpool payouts higher than any other pool. The real issue will be whether something happens to the company before people get their ROI. If they were selling Hashlets to people as if it was real physical hardware but are now saying it's not, they could end up in hot water. With the change to the TOS etc it almost seems like they're trying to cover their asses now. So it seems like most things in crypto, don't invest what you can't afford to lose lol.

I forgot everyone does not have Haslets. This is 50mh/s of hashlets that mine on the zenpool. This is GAW miners private pool that mine scrypt and pays out in BTC. Current average payouts for the zenpool are 0.00065035 BTC per mh. Anyone that has miners there can confirm this. This means the avg payout for this miner should be .0325175 per day. Of course all of this changes with time and are only averages. My hope is we will slowly build the hash up here once I start paying people out. We do not know what coins they mine but they have paid out consistently. Please let me know if there is anything else I can clarify. There is a .08cent per day per mh maintenance fee which will lower the payout slightly.
what is a Haslet tom14cat14 ? http://gawminers.com/pages/hashletive read this before but i still dont get it.. is a haslet an asic miner? how does it never become obsolete? GAW updated there TOS yesterday or the day before and what's clear now is that a "Hashlet" is nothing more than a "share" in their mining operation although they still don't come right out and say it. It's all very confusing as they won't come out and say exactly what they're mining or anything. Someone also said they emailed them about what the zenpool payouts are made up of (since they're so much higher than any other pool out there). Don't know if this is true or not so take it with a grain of salt. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720844.msg8601489#msg8601489
