1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 29, 2023, 09:34:30 PM
My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.
I suggest have them watch some YouTube videos

I completely agree with you, today, cartoons or videos is the best educational instrument. It was our generation that read book, current generation prefer gadgets and if we want to teach them something unusual, we must play on their rules.

No matter how interesting book is, a simple offer «lets go read a book» or «lets go I will read you a book» isnt accepted. While reading, kid will be «flying away, dreaming» and thinking what he would do first when he get his mobile or tablet.
True. Kids will always act as kids no matter what. And even if you teach them most often about bitcoin by giving them comic books that talk about bitcoin, they will only get attracted with the pictures but never with the thoughts. So just leave them learning on their own. Maybe your intention is good but the time wasn’t right. Children still prefer to play around with their gadgets with them.
1162  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: June 29, 2023, 09:16:28 PM
In the eyes of the law, if we try to evade taxes then it’s considered a crime that we have to pay after. That’s the reason why we need not to avoid from paying taxes, otherwise we will be put into jail in no time. However, you are not alone OP. I am also feeling that everything is unfair for us that what we worked hard is not well compensated due to high tack deduction. But what can we do? We are living in a country where tax is a must to sustain the growing economy of our country, and so we just have to abide with the law and pay taxes without complaining.
1163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I Recover my loss of crypto on this platform? on: June 29, 2023, 08:50:30 PM
Hay, I am New here and know about Bitcoin for the last few years but I lost many times in crypto trading. So my question is that how to trade Securely and profitably? And what are the rules and regulations for me that must follow this platform recommended some close ones will say you will learn from this platform so much and I hope to recover from the loss and get a lot of benefits and knowledge gain that is why I am very excited to hear.
Yes, you will definitely learn from this forum if you are highly determined to make it happen. That is by gaining maximum knowledge from the different post you are reading and even developing your own strategies in trading from the experiences shared by reputable traders. And it will not stop there, as you need to experience trading more in the market so that regardless if you still lose, at least you will learn from all your mistakes and not resort on doing the same mistakes again. That way, you’ll be honed to be a good trader and after few years of experience, you will start recovering what you have lose in trading before.
1164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 29, 2023, 08:03:02 PM
Both requires luck as the goal is to create multiple profits but trading demands more of a working process and a long time preparation before you finally decide to trade and risk your money. That’s why since trading needs more analytical and fundamental skills to trade, the probability to be in consistent profits is high unlike in gambling that you can just risk your money until everything is used up especially if you are gambling without control and discipline. However, if you trade like totally gambling, like you don’t need knowledge and skills to succeed, then you’ll end up like almost all gamblers experienced.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 28, 2023, 09:50:08 PM
I never encourage beginners to sell their assets so they can enter bitcoin investment. That is a very wrong mindset in the first place. You’re not even sure if you will be successful on your bitcoin investment so why would take a bigger risk if there is no guaranteed profits in the end. So just allocate a small amount at first so that if you lose, that will never be an issue to you. And as much as possible, do some intensive research first before you finally decide to invest in bitcoin because the fact that it’s highly volatile, you will never make profits if you are also too impatient to seek for immediate profits.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: June 28, 2023, 09:35:31 PM
I don't want to give financial advice, so I'll just share my reasoning for what I would do in that situation. To me, emergency funds exist for an emergency, and struggling to stay within my monthly budget because of the inflation is not an emergency. So I would sell a small amount of the assets as a temporary measure, but the goal is still to ensure that the earnings cover the monthly expenses, so neither emergency funds not selling some assets would count to me as a good solution. If there isn't enough in earnings, I'd consider looking for another job or just doing something in addition to what I already do. I would also consider if there are areas where it's easy to cut spending and do that.
If you can find additional job that will pay you more income, then do it first. Do not just touch your emergency funds nor selling some of your assets as they might be more needed in the future. For now, study more some of your hidden talents and skills as they can be of great help so you can gain additional income for you. And try to live simply away from luxuries and expensive lifestyle, that will help you a lot to save if you have extra money.
1167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin trading for the lily-livered? on: June 28, 2023, 09:14:25 PM
I've been around the forum for months now and lately i have been developing serious thoughts about venturing into crypto trading
particularly bitcoin, I've gotten some little knowledge about forex trading, because there are lots of trading indicators in forex that helps you in predicting the market flow.

However according to some bitcoin trading expert's on YouTube, they will tell you they've gotten their fingers burnt a lot of times.

So i ask, is bitcoin trading advisable for the lily-livered?

Bitcoin trading requires a lot of knowledge and its right application after acquisition. So if you think you are not that determined enough and is afraid to take risk, then trading might not be good enough for you. Because when you are in actual trading, you need to be brave and be confident on what you have because that will be your best weapon on making your trades successful. Otherwise, if you trade without enough courage and not persistent on what you believe, you will never get far with trading.
1168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners Should Follow These To Be A Good Price Predictor on: June 28, 2023, 08:46:28 PM
4. Experience your knowledge with Demo Trading: Its a good choice for beginners to trade with the demo funds before investing real funds. It will help to find out the faults of your analysis without losing real assets. It will also increase the experience of a trader. Some sites are offering Demo trading like Etoro , Bybit etc.
The demo features don't help much, but might be good for anyone too worried about running out of budget. After all, live trading will give them experience and courage, but of course beginners shouldn't rush with big budgets. While the demo can help you figure things out, your worries will likely be the same when it comes to live trading.

My one piece of advice, beginners just need to start trading with a small budget while developing their trading skills. Also don't expect to get rich overnight and stay away from more altcoins.
Demo trading will allow newbies to be familiar with how the trading market works but if your target is to increase your knowledge and develop some skills and strategies, then trading using live account is the only way that will make it happen. Just don’t be hunger with big profits as it’s still impossible for beginners. Start with small budget at first and when you’re already making consistent profits, then that’s the time to increase your trading size but expect higher risk too.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin journey mistakes and moral lesson on: June 28, 2023, 08:29:05 PM
There’s a single thing I’ll probably never understand: why people pretend they know everything without ever researching the subject. I’ve got friends who years ago I was trying to convince to invest at least a small portion of their savings in BTC and they were aggressively contradicting my facts with their imagined thoughts and beliefs. I get that mainstream media gets you to believe a thing although it’s not always true, but it’s very annoying. Don’t tell me something’s a scam if you don’t even know what I’m talking about.

Follow your instinct and don’t let yourself be emotionally disrupted by the thoughts of those around you. I found they often pulled me back from my plans and now I have many plans I regret not following because I know they would’ve been successful. But that doesn’t matter - if they were wrong 10 times they’ll continue to be wrong an 11th time too..
People will always have a lot to say just to pull you back, it’s up to you if you still stick to your decision or just believe that they might be right and you’re wrong. However, remind yourself that you will never grow and be successful if you keep relying from other people’s point of view. Just accept the fact that sometimes our decision may be a contradiction from their own decision so we need not to hang in there but prove to them that what we are doing is reasonable. That way, there’s no regretting in the end because we never missed any opportunity again just like before because we now have faith in our investment.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 26, 2023, 08:45:18 PM
My question is if this is just one of many marketing gimmick to make money or create awareness for a project they might be working on.

Who would win of course?

Can such a fight influence the crypto and stock market world majorly?

I also know bettings would be made for this, incase it goes down as reported. Who are you betting on?

Yea, instead of suing they should just fight it out like real men do in the ancient times. Remember the duels in ancient Rome? We already know who would win and that person isn't Elon Musk. He is way too unfit and too old to be in a caged fight with Mark Zuckerberg. Assuming this fight was real and was going to happen for real, I would say that whoever wins eventually should have their social media company or platforms declared the best by the judges. Well, this is on the side to  -  I think everyone should learn how to fight.

Having the social media on the line is quite too much, IMO. Especially in this fight where participants doesn't have the same resume and just like what you've said, Elon Musk got the slimmest chance to win compared to Mark Zuckerberg as other than the fact that he is the younger one, he also got some serious trainings on his resume. He might not have the villain face we expect but he got some skills over Elon Musk.

IMHO, it's much more realistic if they will have their own bets worth billions of dollars. Anyway, it's not yet guaranteed that this bout will happen.
More likely to happen. Basing up on this article
https://www.marca.com/en/ufc/2023/06/24/6496d65922601d252d8b4605.html

"I was talking with Elon and Mark and both guys are absolutely dead serious about this," White told TMZ.
"They both said 'Yeah, we'll do it'. They both want to do it."

Dana do even said about this would really be making money or revenue 3x more on that Mayweather vs McGregor fight.  Cool

Yep, I've read about what Dana said as well regarding about this fight but it's on a different sports outlet though.

Anyway, I just cannot wrap myself around this fight as I didn't expected this to happen at all and I did not even know that both Elon and Mark did exchange some spicy words on the social media. To be honest, I also don't know what to expect about this fight as I just see both of them as weird and no skills at all when it comes to basic combat, that's why I'm surprised to know about Mark's history.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 26, 2023, 07:20:32 PM
Will you try a trick to win on casino game machines if you were told and it is a 100% working trick to cash out? Will you bet on fixed games if you get the tip early?

Depends on the stand of your life because we all have our own choices to make and sometimes, depending on the situations we have, it might be a factor to trigger us to take advantage on something that gives us a much higher chance of winning because first of all, as a gambler, we seek money and entertainment at the same time and most probably, most people will certainly take advantage of these chances.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: June 26, 2023, 06:41:27 PM
Even if the bank system is stable, STILL the lowest interest i get on my Crypto is times higher than i will get for my deposit in a bank.
I know there is a risk included, but where isn't?
So back to our profile investment and never put money in one basket.

There are no guarantees that these platforms are a safe alternatives when it comes to storing our money unless we hold it ourselves and place the risks on our hands. Banks are not any safe either even if we say that they are already reputable and century old because at any given time, these banks are vulnerable and that comes with a price that includes our funds stored in their banks. Furthermore, when it comes to risks, it's much better to invest it so that we can create another source of income rather than storing it in a bank where inflation rate is much higher compared to their interests.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 4 Altcoins to look at in 2023 on: June 26, 2023, 05:52:43 PM
Hllo guys,
I am definitely positive about Chainlink. because it is a huge potential ALT coin. I will do DCA every time it gets deeper. And I think it's better to buy Avalanche too, but among all of these low-risk coins, ETH is my favorite. I don't think Dogecoin will lead the crypto market in the next bull run.
Yes for me, among the list, chainlink is a unique project, and besides that Ethereum also.
For me, if we will only base on the list, I'll go with Ethereum first then Chainlink. I know Chainlink is already here even before, as you can see a lot of projects already trying to beat Chainlink but for me, the original will always stay.

Chainlink and Ethereum are indeed the top altcoins and are worth investing in, but for 2023 these two coins cannot be said to be appropriate,
because there are still many good altcoins that are worth investing in, especially in medium caps, for example Steem and Combo,
you can find information about these two coins are on coinmarketcap and you will trust me.

Ethereum is good and worth it to be invested mainly if you're looking for long-term but considering the situations they have been in the recent years and months, ETH is not getting the investors and public's interests anymore due to the problems that are still existing right now.

Right now, I'm more inclined in accumulating more BNB's and SOL's as much as possible as I have this feeling that the prices will balloon after the bitcoin's recovery and much likely achieve another ETH. Chainlink is decent but I'm not that interested as of now.
1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 26, 2023, 05:27:20 PM

Yes!
you got the topic very correct and I do mean it because after my last thread, I was actually wondering  the essences of having all the knowledge  about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large and still don't have the money to buy, I just feel its a waste of effort and such a person  with all his knowledge  will definitely miss out of the opportunities in bitcoin and I'm  on the opinion  that people still need to always have some form of money at all time to buy bitcoin especially  at every instance a dip arises and I want to know the essence of wanting to crowd ones brain Brain with so much about bitcoin  when such a person doesn't have any more to buy rather than seeking ways to buy?

Why not use that knowledge to generate income?  What for is knowledge if we are not able to use it to produce money?  So even without money if we have the knowledge we can easily look for opportunities and gets qualified for the job because of knowledge.  There are lots of successful people that started from zero and yet they are able to become rich of of their innovative ideas in terms of making money by either looking for jobs or offering services.  Those who claim to have knowledge but failed to produce anything don't have the right knowledge at all.  Or more probably they are making excuses for why they can't do things.

I couldn't agree more. Knowledge is a power and a tool to help ourselves rise from the current situation we have and make our lives somehow comfortable in the next few years, there's no such thing as knowledge is a waste without money because with that knowledge, you can almost start with everything as you have the power to search for the ideas and what to do to make your situation better. Now, if you currently cannot afford bitcoin, you can always buy a fraction of it or start with altcoins that can give you profits then turn those profits into bitcoin.
1175  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: June 26, 2023, 03:37:58 PM
There is an opinion that the more money you spend, the more you get in return, it is interesting to find out who really works in this direction. I spend enough money, but I have a fixed income, therefore I will not be able to get more. I don't have rich relatives, and I don't expect an inheritance either. I want to get rich, not to deny myself, but I have to save on everything. Who really faced big expenses and received even more? How does it work, maybe I don't understand the essence of it correctly?

I don't think this makes any sense on a personal level. Why should increasing our consumption lead to a higher income? It only leads to having less money in our pockets. This statement is true on a company level that invests in their own business. You need capital to buy new machines, run advertising, create new products, etc. If you are a successful business it means that spending more money today will lead to higher revenues in the future. But for us consumers it doesn't help if we spend all our savings on a new car, long vacation and the newest iPhone and iPad. These are all purchases that don't lead to higher income for us.

I guess that's one way to look at it and if I'm not mistaken, maybe the OP also mean the same thing too but in a different manner like spending on ourselves because we are our own investments, so the more money you spend to yourself as an investment then it's likely to happen you will get more in return somewhere in the future, depends on the ROI.

If this is not what the OP meant then I don't know anymore because it just doesn't really make sense if you just spend on anything and still have more in return. The world doesn't work like that.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: June 25, 2023, 09:56:20 PM
Altcoin market needs to see bitcoin to stabilize its position first. People will be boring there will be no massive increase happened to the bitcoin. They will start to think that if bitcoin will not give them all profit anymore since it's started to stabilize its position.
Altcoin will be pumping as soon as possible after his. it probably takes around weeks.
Since bitcoin price has started to increase, it is expected that all altcoins will increase in price soon. But I don't know how long bitcoin price will remain stable like this. It seems that it will increase more or else it will dump again. If bitcoin price will dump again.  It is impossible for altcoins to increase in price.  If the price of Bitcoin continues to rise, the altcoins will soon rise.

Roughly, we still have more or less one year before the next bitcoin halving will happen and after that, we will likely experience some boost in bitcoin's price and some even says and speculates that it will exceed the last ATH. And if that happens, after the bitcoin's market boost, altcoins are expected to follow and have their own ATH as well especially the top performing altcoins in the recent years like ETH, ADA, BNB.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joshua Franco vs Kazuto Ioka WBA World Superfly (June 24) on: June 25, 2023, 09:16:30 PM
What a revenge by Ioka after the first match was ended in draw, now he proof himself if he's better than Franco. Ioka clearly beat Franco, so the judges already correct for scoring favor on Ioka's side and people wouldn't discuss the scorecard is robbed etc.

I think Ioka will have couple of warm up fight before he will fight with Fernando Martinez or Junto Nakatani, Estrada is become the last boss in super flyweight division.

It was definitely a tough decision for Kazuto Ioka because he had to vacate his WBO belt and refused a fight against Nakatani just to secure a 2nd fight against Joshua Franco as he cannot just move on from that draw because he knew right from the start that the fight should've belonged to him but the judges favored a draw because Franco showed some impressive moves in the later rounds hence the draw.

Now that he finished his business with Franco, I bet he's already eager to fight Junto Nakatani so that he can get that WBO belt that was once belonged to him.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 25, 2023, 08:36:38 PM

CP3 on the other hand won't have any issues with Steph. I've seen them before talking in a video call and all respect from both players too. What's done on the basketball court will stay there. And we all know how down-to-earth Steph is. He ain't the fighting guy and hating people.
I am going to wait where Draymond ends up and I wish it will be a different team. He should try the Wizards.  Cheesy

Draymond and Klay both want max contracts and there is no way the Warriors can pay both of them. I think Draymond stays and Klay gets traded. Makes more sense with Poole being traded away. I can't say that's what going to happen for sure, but that's the feeling I have.

Draymond Green is already in the free agency after he declined that $27 Million player option for the 23-24 season and I don't think that he's still inclined to go back to the Warriors if they cannot come up with anything that somehow near Draymond's demands. As for Klay Thompson, the Warriors still have one more season to decide what is the greater good for the team and if Klay will have another bad season then I think it's safe to assume that he will not be handed with a max contract.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 25, 2023, 08:13:48 PM

And following that argument, I also believe that the challenge or pressure is on the side of Fulton
he's the current champ and he also flying to Inoue's homeland, another factor that will bring the
aggressiveness on Inoue's side.

I agree. He will be competing in Japan, which is considered a tough venue to win in. Therefore, he should engage in a toe-to-toe battle with Inoue and aim for a knockout if he wants to ensure victory. Simply running and scoring points wouldn't work against Inoue, as the latter is also quick and possesses jabs that could seriously harm his opponent.

Inoue seeks action, so to prevent this fight from becoming boring, Fulton needs to employ a different style—one that would intimidate Inoue and prevent him from being the aggressive attacker.

The homeland of a fighter will have the momentum and help the countrymen win against their opponent in short You are right that mate Homeland is an advantage for inoue as we all know that people around that country will give their full support to their fighter which is inoue. And for the champ Fulton for sure he will feel a nervous because only few people will support him in the venue.

That's home court advantage but it's not a sure bet that it might help the boxer itself, unless he has the talent to win in his one home land like Inoue here. But if we talk about Casimero, he has travelled a lot even at the champions own country and he beat them, causing a riot inside and outside of the ring.

I'm not saying that the Japanese will do that, their culture is very different and they show so much respect to their opponents. But we can't discount the fact that maybe Fulton has prepared 110% in this fight and wanted to get a upset win in Inoue's home court.

Boxers should be preparing themselves for these kind of situations as it is not everytime they can have a fight inside their own country especially in the case of Casimero because having a fight inside the Philippines will not really attract that much audience compared if he will take his fight in the opponent's country or a much bigger country to increase the profits that they will gain.

For Inoue's situation, most of his fights happen in Japan because it is already proven that they can generate a much bigger profit if the fight will be happen there. That's why Fulton have to travel towards the challenger's land because of this reason.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, investment, stocks..... on: June 25, 2023, 04:52:24 PM
Since gambling companies are registered companies, is it possible that they have stocks? Is there anyway to invest in a gambling stock? Or let's say gambling related stocks? I am thinking that if this is possible then this could be one of the ways to get the best out of gambling and investment, I can't help but think that most gambling companies in the U.S are almost successful, only little to none run of out business in few years, gambling is a lucrative business, so I need answers if this is possible. Thanks

Yes, indeed you can considering that these gambling companies are registered to SEC. But aren't you curious why investing towards gambling stocks are not gaining any attention by the public and the investors? It's because it's not really advisable especially if you're looking forward to invest in gambling stocks as stocks alone as a whole are much more volatile and much more risky because of its vulnerability mainly when the economy is declining.
