421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you use platforms offering AI help for crypto trading in 2024? on: December 22, 2023, 09:54:08 PM
When it comes to trading using my own hard-earned money, definitely I will not let AI control my trades because the chances to be successful is very slim. I would prefer to work on it through my own knowledge and skills in trading. There'll be some inevitable losses and it's normal for traders. But risking my funds just to adopt AI in my trades, that would never be possible.

Probably if I'm born with a golden spoon, I will try to adopt AI in my trades and just come what may, but I'm just a regular trader so I would stick using my own stocked knowledge in crypto trading.
422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STOP! Before you become a prey of a scammer! on: December 22, 2023, 09:12:07 PM
Know what you are doing and know who you are dealing and trusting. If you easily trust and rely on other people, you will only get scammed in the end. Scamming is very rampant with regards to crypto and these people will do everything to make us fall into their traps. But we can totally avoid it if we have adequate knowledge in crypto.

Paid channels or apps are not made for us to reach our crypto goals, but it's there to make them take advantage on us by buying on their app or channel. With the use of AI, it even make their jobs easier to take an edge over us. But if we stick to our own knowledge and  established insights about crypto based from our own research, we will never easily fall on their traps.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: December 22, 2023, 03:21:45 AM
Jemaine Ortiz is not a patsy and if Teofimo will take it easy and take him for granted just like what he did to Kambosos and Sandor Martin, he will find himself in big trouble, Ortiz is capable he may be a cherry-picked fighter but it's not an easy fighter to deal with, although Loma beat him by a unanimous decision, he shows that he can keep up with a tough fighter like Loma.
The fight is on Kambosos if he is in tough shape then he can easily beat Ortiz but if he takes it easy Jemaine can give a tough fight, it's going to be interesting in the first 3 rounds of the fight.

If Lopez cherry-picked him then Lopez camp believe that they will win. No one would cherry picked a fighter that they think will give a trouble to the champion, so this isn't too interesting IMO. Maybe if this is mandatory, then we can discuss that Jamaine Ortiz  has a decent chance of beating Lopez.

As per in the Jr. Welterweight ranking in WBO which is Teofimo Lopez is the current champion, Jamaine Ortiz is only ranked at number 11, so that says a lot about this as a cherry picked fight which Teofimo won't have a problem dealing with.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 22, 2023, 02:46:57 AM

But for the supporters of Tapales, the ML is already juicy to them. Tapales pulling an upset will be the biggest shock in boxing to happen this year.

They can just stick with the Moneyline. I'm using a different bookie than what was posted, Tapales to win has a 8.60 ML, so that's really attractive.

Actually I haven't place my bet yet but I like to play around with the markets that are already available.
Based on what I see upon checking, looks like the range per rounds aren't available yet. I'm waiting for that one as it's where I can see some very attractive odds.

Currently, this is the only odds that I'm quite attracted.

Asian total - under 5.5 with 2.30 odds

With that odds, seems decent though it can be fulfil if Tapales will try to exchange punches in early rounds but if Tapales will use hi tactics which he's more on trying to outscored is opponents, he may exceed with that rounds and maybe survive up to the end of 12 rounds, just speculating though, as we don't know if what preparation and how he will esecute his strategy.

Maybe waiting for more option, it may be provided during the live event, let see if what will going to come up from most bookies.

Tapales doesn't have the quickness to hit Inoue and score consistently, so his best chance here is to counter punch Inoue and be more aggressive in the fight so he will not feel inferior against the beast.

And with that to happen, I'm expecting that the fight will end early, either Inoue or Tapales will be KO, as long as it will fall within the first to fifth rounds, that's money. This is just my personal perception on the fight though, anything could happen, but I studied all the fights of Inoue, it ends up mostly in KO. In case Inoue will dictate the fight and Tapales will refuse to engage once he felt the power of Inoue, then there's a chance that the under 5.5 rounds will lose.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 21, 2023, 08:59:25 PM
Professional traders never resort into overtrading because that will only put their trades on a higher risk of losing. But newbies are still learning on trading, so their concepts are not as good and precise like skillful traders are. Instead of trading at their own risk, they chose to trade more often thinking that it's the best possible way to earn bigger amount of profits. The moment they lose, that's when they realized that overtrading does not work for them, and even to all traders out there.

For me, it's a good thing that they learn at the start. So if they tend to overtrade, that's okay. They will learn eventually their lesson and will not repeat the same mistake again.

Let's try that strategy which is betting against the public on games tomorrow.

Maybe let's help each other here to determine which side is on the public.

Game 1 : ROAD WARRIORS -2.5 vs BLACKWATER BOSSING +2.5

Game 2 : Bolts +2.5 vs Ginebra -2.5

My personal analysis, on game 1, the public bet will be on the Warriors -2.5, so the pick should be on Bossing. And on the 2nd game, it's obvious that Ginebra will get the public attraction, so the Pick will be Bolts +2.5.

Does it make sense?
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 21, 2023, 11:30:05 AM
Okay, let's get it moving to the upcoming games fellas!

We have some exciting games coming ahead, and based on my taste, these are the games that I like to bet on.

Pelicans vs Cleveland
Indiana vs Memphis
Magic vs  Bucks
Clippers vs OKC
Lakers vs Minnesota

The most anticipated, battle of the worst teams.  Grin

Wizards vs Trail Blazers.

I'm not betting yet, I'll leave that up to you guy. Tell me, what game should we bet and on what team?
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 21, 2023, 10:10:42 AM
Do you have any idea for new poll? Let me know so I can change it. For now I'm going to change it to first 30 wins.
It may change this time because Bucks and Timberwolves are going great as well.

Well, teams like the Celtics and 76ers also have a good chance in this poll.
Celtics won the last poll, they might win again as they still retain the number 1 spot overall. But let's take a look at the Bucks, they are having a good run, currently a 5 win streak and counting... who knows they could overtake the Celtics at the top, and the most surprising is the Clippers, Currently at 9 win streak and number 4 in the West, just few more wins to get that 30, for sure it's unexpected but it could happen.

How about creating a new poll on whether the Pistons can extend their losing streak and set a new NBA record? The Pistons have really stood out from other teams this regular season, and now the Pistons' players only need to lose 5 more games in a row to make NBA history. Grin

Poll was already created, we can't create another one until the current poll is concluded.
430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: December 20, 2023, 11:59:02 PM
Hi guys!
Just wanted to know how many cryptocurrencies you're invested in? And with what percentage of your portfolio (No need to mention the amounts involved, if you don't want to). Just want to get a general sense of how everyone's diversifying their crypto assets.
I'm into 80% bitcoin and the rest are reserved for potential altcoins that may suddenly skyrocket their prices and bring us exceptional profits. But let me clear it to you that what I invested is only an amount I can afford to lose since the term investment alone still cannot guarantee insured profits. No need to borrow funds or take a debt just to maximize your investment.

But I suggest to focus on bitcoin for now. Bitcoin halving is approaching and after that, real bull run will appear and certainly that would be the best time to sell in profits.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 20, 2023, 09:56:41 PM
I agree that you succeeded in attracting your friend to invest in bitcoin, but the problem is you never taught him how to secure his bitcoin, by not sharing it to others or letting other people know that you're actually owning bitcoin. What you showed OP creates a wrong concept about bitcoin, and he should not imitate you, otherwise he will blame you in the future if he lost his bitcoin because he also show it to other people to attract them to invest.

It's not too late OP. You can correct your mistake by teaching him the right way to secure the safety of his coins. And for you OP, beware of the future scammers. Your investment might be at risk already the moment you share your bitcoin hodlings to your friend.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 19, 2023, 02:35:47 PM

BTW, we have the Warriors hosting the Celtics tomorrow, I'm guessing, Warriors will lose.  Grin

I don't have to think on what team to bet as I like the Celtics on this. The Warriors are in a win streak, back at home hosting the hottest team now in the East, so I would back on the better team there. The Warriors will now be tested if they can still win against a strong team despite missing Draymond Green, so I guess it's no brainer than the Celtics will win.

If you are betting, the spread now is -5.5 for the Cetlics, quite high on the road but this Celtics team is capable of bringing a double digit win.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder Vs Parker & Joshua Vs Wallin Boxing Mega Saudi card 23rd December on: December 19, 2023, 11:40:58 AM

So far Parker 5:1 underdog against Wilder. Otto Wallin, almost 4:1 underdog. So that speaks that this is just a confidence boosting match.

With those odds, it seems like an easy fight for Wilder. The thing is, when Wilder struggles against his opponents, he tends to lose, and that has only happened against Fury. So, against Parker, I believe it could be an easy KO for Wilder. Despite being defeated by Fury, Wilder is making a comeback, and if he continues to improve his ranking, there's a good chance he'll make a strong return.

Looking ahead to Fury vs. Usyk, if Fury wins, both AJ and Wilder might be forced to fight the champion for another shot. If that happens, fans might not be as excited, given Wilder's previous losses to Fury. However, against AJ, it could be different as we haven't seen him fight Fury. Yet, according to the books, AJ appears to be an easy target for Fury. These are just possibilities for the future, so for more exciting bouts in the heavyweight division, let's hope Usyk can beat Fury, as things could become uncertain against AJ or Wilder.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 19, 2023, 10:58:58 AM
It's just unfortunate that fights like this in the lower weight categories are not generating enough attention this is the exact weight division where the great Pacquiao and up-and-coming great Inoue started and this is also the division where one of the greatest Mexican fighters reigns  Ricardo "El Finito" López, great prospects in the Bantamweight and Superwelterweight started here Bam Rodriguez should stay in the division or if Edwards ask for a rematch he should go for it after Inoue he is the next big star in the lower weight division.
True, just really sad to see that the lower weight class is not generation enough buzz even in the last 20 years. If not for the likes of Inoue at bantamweight, then we will not be interested at 112, 115 and 118.

But at least for now, we have a great fight in the future, Bam wants Juan Francisco Estrada.

That will be a banger fight, and hopefully we will see this next year. Although Rodriguez can also target a unification fight with the other champion here at the Flyweight division. Artem Dalakian and Julio Cesar Martinez, either fight will be solid. But if he can't make the weight at 112 lbs anymore, then it's time for him to move up to Jr. Bantamweight.

Agree,  lower division aren't getting much attention that's why we are so thankful for Inoue being a very dominant boxer.

Currently, according to the list - https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/boxing/boxing-rankings-fighters-p4p-list-2023-b2461927.html...
he is now the number 1 pound for pound, and I think he'll keep that ranking as long as he continues his impressive wins. He will have a fight this coming December 26 against Tapales, with another KO win here, his popularity will just continue to grow.
435  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Everything has changed on: December 17, 2023, 08:59:47 PM
I don't know whether what I'm feeling other people are feeling it or am just having this feeling based on the country where I'm located, or am feeling this way because of age and responsibility. Before now everything was easy for the rich , poor, and middle class, you can even be happy without having any money with you. But this time it seems different,  you can still have money but still their is is no inner joy. Now even the people around are not real and genuine but fake, can even betray for free. Is it that as the world is evolving people are changing too.
People have become discontented these days because of their love for money. It's like money becomes the most essential thing on earth, and without money survival and life's satisfaction will be very hard toa achieved. Even the rich people who have a lot of stack of money already still want to become richer and will do everything to in increase their wealth. And also the poor ones, their everyday struggles is all about money, and even if they can have that, living life seems lacking and meaningless at all.

The world is heading for a big change, and so are the people are. But at the end of the day, it's the people will decide as to what path they will chose to take, so they will find the joy and meaning of their life.
436  Other / Meta / Re: I think it's possible to keep going without banning mixers on: December 17, 2023, 11:22:10 AM
I believe Theymos made a well-thought-out decision. With recent news involving mixers, a responsible admin would prioritize the overall protection of the forum, even if it means sacrificing certain aspects. I know some may feel disappointed about the ban on mixer news, but let us not forget to recognize the potential harm it could pose if the US orders a shutdown of our beloved forum.

In this light, it seems like a prudent decision, and we should remain optimistic that the space left by this decision will be filled by new industries or existing ones increasing their exposure on the forum so that opportunity loss will come back again.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 17, 2023, 10:56:24 AM
Boston it is tomorrow, they were playing great at home, covered most of their games and remained undefeated, so most likely we will see the same outcome the last time they played the Magic.

If these players will play according to @owengtam09... we will see an interesting game.

Quote
Markelle Fultz (Knee/ Game Time Decision)
Jalen Suggs (Undisclosed/ Game Time Decision)
Joe Ingles (Ankle/ Game Time Decision)

All of them are in game time decision, means there's a chance to see them. I think gonna make them better, but winning is exactly a different story.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 17, 2023, 07:41:31 AM
I thought that Edwards will somewhat make this fight close, but Rodriguez win a big win here, as he stopped after nine rounds. He scored a devastating knock down on round nine that forces the corner of Edwards to stop the fight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bHzw65W534&t=199s

So in the post fight interview, he said that he will go to 115 lbs and fight Juan Francisco Estrada. I think that is also a great fight as we all know that Estrada is also a great champion at Super Flyweight/Jr. Bantamweight.

Edwards was okay with the decision of his corner, he had respect to the decision as he said in his statement that his coach was with him since he's 18 years old, so he believe on the judgement. I didn't see the fight though, but judging on the highlights, I can tell it was a very entertaining fight that both fighters are not showing any dull moment, but you know, fights like this normally wouldn't end up to the judges scorecards, so as predicted, the heavy puncher wins this fight. Congratulations to Rodriguez... and what was the odds for Rodriguez to win by KO by the way?
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Are you confident betting on handicap for heavy favorites or heavy underdog? on: December 17, 2023, 02:41:14 AM
Let's say the handicap is -6.5 or more, which do you prefer to bet on, the favorites, or the underdog?

As we know, every gambler have different strategies in sports betting, they woudl stick to what they are comfortable with and that they think would give them a success in the long run, so this thread is some sort of a survey, maybe newbies or those who have been struggling to find the right strategy might benefit from this.

What can you share based on your experience as well, between the two, which one you have more wins and you find an effective method in your sports betting venture?
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 17, 2023, 01:16:54 AM

Just check the final update but didn't manage to watch the game, and I'm surprise knowing the outcome, Magnolia's winning streak is now being stopped by ROS, I guess there are good bettors who loves taking that big risk, they are now surely enjoying the amount of profits that they've gain, like what the post above you mentioned, it's strange that underdog wins agains the heavy favorite but that's how the game works.

One will win and the other team will lose the game, I'm sure we will see more like this to take place, better to assess and put your money in the right team and the right timing.

ROS is s atreak stopper and they striked again. A close game but a big win for them, and since it's not played on unfamiliar venue, probably that was the reason why their shooting aren't that good. I heard from the commentators that it's played in Cagayan, so i guess we better be aware of the venue so we can spot this kind of opportunity.
