821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: September 14, 2023, 05:02:19 AM
Assuming you are not fan of Bitcoin, saving your money in the bank still the best option than saving your money anywhere. The bank is insured so if there is a mismanagement of funds that leads to a shutdown of the bank you get your money back and in full. And you can even sue them if they refused to give you your money. A casino can shut down today and disappear without a trace. You can't take them to court. No one will be held responsible aside from you.

Exactly! I mean, why would someone want to keep their money in a casino? What's the point? People are so busy doing the opposite thing because they don't trust casinos with their money and then I find something like this that casino can also be a vault. It's ridiculous, nobody in the right mind would do such careless things as it's like you're just giving your money away.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: September 14, 2023, 04:20:12 AM
~snip~

I agree with the last few words you said that parents must supervise every activity their children do to avoid this bad situation because gambling is currently growing very fast and advertisements everywhere are related to gambling so this supervision is very important and be alert if the child's behavior is a bit different.
That's correct actually and it's really important for parents to always monitor their kids to prevent them from developing addictions or getting involved in suspicious activities that aren't suitable for their young age. Keeping kids under control is essential as it will benefit them in exploring the world of gambling when they are older and understand what they should and should not do.

Might as well discourage them first and give them another options that are much useful to them like something that will help them in figuring out their passion that could lead them to an additional income, you know helpful things that involves a bright tomorrow because we know that they are still relatively young to know and think about gambling.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 13, 2023, 04:53:34 PM
Oh that's good to hear that he has his own gym now, I mean that's how you give back to your community. Of course he can used it personally to train if he has incoming fights. But it will also give other younga and upcoming boxers to train there as it could have a good facility. Until those gym that Manny used when he was still in the beginning of his career. Although it could have help Filipino boxers to get used to obscured boxing arena's and fight, but still good if there will be some gyms that they can start with par with many gyms in the world. No odds yet though, so we will have to wait for a bit and see what options we had that will likely give us a good return or profits betting on John Riel Casimero here.

Yeah, the gym is very helpful for those youngsters who want to be boxers as they have now a facility where they can practice for free and if they are serious enough and become a prodigy then that could alleviate them from poverty as most of the kids that are training in Casimero's gym came from poor families. Good thing that Quadro Alas provided some of the kids that have potential the equipment like running shoes and shorts for training.

This is the kind of sport that we should also focus on, a sport in which we can dominate the world, similar to what Manny Pacquiao has achieved. I believe we have the talent, but we lack the necessary facilities. So, these popular boxers who are already earning a decent income are a blessing, especially if they are helping potential boxers in the future. Eventually, we will have a Filipino champion again, and I hope Casimero will be able to return to the top before announcing his retirement.

No question about the genuine intention to help young boxers; however, the lack of facilities is a significant hindrance, preventing some from pursuing their dreams. With this action, it will inspire the young ones to continue chasing their dreams. I believe that when more and more talents focus on boxing, we might see another Manny Pacquiao in the future.

To be honest, I want to see people united again while watching boxing. Right now, there hasn't been a popular boxer that most Filipinos follow every time he has a fight. It could be Casimero, but his character in the ring is not the same as Pacman's, so he does not easily gain support.

And he is not really that courageous like Pacquiao who always seeks a good match up even if people are already looking at the opposite side, still he charges towards them like he doesn't care at all and will instead give his best towards his own preparation so that he will go inside the ring ready, he may be the winner or defeated, the important thing for him is that he tried and did his best. Afterwards, he will have his own time to bounce back after that loss, and knowing Pacquiao, he always have many reasons to stay determined.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 13, 2023, 02:53:57 PM

Mike has to teach Francis how to get closer to find the range, Mike is smart enough to have done this against his opponents. If Francis can't get close, he will never get an opportunity to land a punch.

It doesn't look like they are very much into thrashing. Francis pointing at the bod looks like a good meme. We're going to see a lot of memes after the fight and it wouldn't even matter for Francis if he loses the fight since it's already expected against the pro but it would be a hilarious meme if Fury loses though.

I believe that it is their plan, Ngannou cannot make any difference if he will stay beyond Fury's reach because that will also mean that he will have a hard time reaching the latter. It's much better for them to have a confrontation in the guise of a toe-to-toe fight because they got more chances that way, but it's a challenge though if Ngannou can survive it because his stamina will be a problem as he is not built to be a boxer who can last up to 12 rounds while giving and receiving deadly blows.
825  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: September 13, 2023, 02:25:02 PM

When we are doing something that we know is not incorrect or immoral but that we know other people may consider it to be the case then it is better to keep it a secret, as if you tell someone about the fact that you gamble and then that person tells to someone else you could easily end up facing some issues you never wanted to face with that person, however slowly but surely those outdated ideas against gambling are being left behind as gambling becomes more popular.

The right and wrong thing was based on the individual, some things are correct to some person. The same thing was wrong to other set of people, hacking was the illegal and unethical one.But to the hacker, the same was ethical one.Because they earn using the hacking,it was their own profession. The gambling itself not an ethical one to the Islamic community, other community people will try to use gambling as the real profession. So everything will be differ from person to person. If you are from the Muslim community, you can do the gambling with secret.Because the people from your community will do criticise your playing in the gambling.

Cultural differences is a big factor and yes, coming from your example regarding to hacker it was their profession and they find it profitable and there are also experienced gamblers who use gambling as a source of income, by following your statement, it's possible that there are times or there are people who want their gambling participation discreetly while other don't mind whatever behind them and will just move forward as long as there's no illegality with what they are doing, they've got that mindset that it's their money so it's their possession to control and to do whatever they like to do considering that gambling is part of their activities.

The issue of legality will be an important thing in gambling, when gambling is legal in your country then gambling has become a normal and common thing to do. However, when gambling becomes an illegal activity and is not permitted, then gambling becomes taboo and prohibited.
People who openly gamble are of course aware of what will happen, perhaps they will not question their gambling status. But there are some people who keep their gambling a secret. Now gambling is easy for anyone to access.

Now that gambling is easy to access, we can't tell who are those that involves with gambling, they can discreetly play and enjoy while for those people who are open with their activities they can also use it to have some extra earnings, I mean, streamer nowadays are very open with what they are doing and even they involve themselves into gambling they share it and openly provide the links or ref links of their accounts.

Yes, people nowadays have more ways to be discreet about their activity because they can just play and gamble inside their own homes compared to the decades before where people usually go out and find a casino just to gamble while also risking their identity to the people they don't want to know that they are gambling. I mean, they are not literally hiding the fact but it's just that there are some certain things that we don't want to talk about publicly.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Honest question, what to think about “crypto” affiliates or influencers? on: September 13, 2023, 10:05:37 AM
Being a crypto affiliate or an influencer is not actually bad, it gets only bad when you want to influence your audience with wrong information so you can achieve your own goal. However, not all crypto influencers are desperate enough to feed people with lies so that they can convince them to believe in them. Some are doing their best to show to the people the reality about trading and let them understand about it.

Personally, I think the reason why traders still trying hard to be successful on YouTubing or crypto affiliating it’s because they want to maximize their potentials as a successful trader. Aside from the fact that they are making decent income from YouTubing or being a crypto influencer, there’s also high chances that they can also bring some big positive changes into other people’s lives. That is, if those people follow the advices from reputable traders.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 12, 2023, 04:05:48 PM
All leagues use the power of money to bring in players so there is no reason to exclude the Saudi League it's just that the Saudi League is a little late in using the power of money, not only Saudi even the American League also uses the same method. Now young players and old players have their own place to compete imagine if there was no Saudi League maybe we wouldn't see Ronaldo and Benzema playing again.
We can't blame the Saudi League because they are buying various players from Europe for money. There is nothing wrong with the fact that the clubs that are in the Saudi League have the financial power to use that financial power to bring players from Europe to Saudi Arabia. When Manchester United began to ignore Cristiano Ronaldo, no other club in Europe expressed interest in signing Ronaldo. When no team in Europe showed interest in taking Ronaldo, if Ronaldo had not received an offer from Saudi Arabia, his football career might have ended there, but because of Saudi Arabia, we still see Cristiano Ronaldo on the field. Now maybe most of the stars come to Saudi Arabia at the end of their career but after a few seasons it will be seen that many young footballers will come to Saudi Arabia to build their career.

Well, if we're talking about the league in Europe, it's somehow safe to say that clubs that has money is indeed not interested in acquiring Ronaldo anymore but for the smaller clubs, they want him as it's hard to think that they are not, it's just that they cannot afford Ronaldo that is why they are just silent about it. Furthermore, there are also some clubs in US soil that are keen to have him. Let's say if he wasn't called out by Al-Nassr, he would be playing in US, just like Messi because there, their talents are still worth it.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 12, 2023, 03:23:22 PM
Same with you, Canelo's fan based might bring that money plus the fact that interest if how Crawford will try to snatch the belt under Canelos possession.

We need more updates regarding to any possibility of this possible match up to take place,.

Yeah! you're right because this is the right time to make that fight happen cause Crawford is at the peak of his career and popularity which is why they need to look for a bigger stadium next time in order to make it a real historical event in the boxing history. This is how it should be, no drama whatsoever unlike with Spence they took a long time before they finally stepped in the ring. Crawford wants to make it happen, then Canelo should win his fight and then make Crawford's dreams come true.

It will still Canelo though as the A-side if he decided to fight Crawford.
Because it's obvious that he can still bring fans to whatever stadium is it and so it will result in a good live gate numbers.
Not saying that Crawford can't bring fans, but we all know that he hasn't had that following for casual fans, only hardcore boxing fans are familiar with him.
But the likes of Canelo wherein the whole country is behind it, he is really huge for the last 5 years or so.
And with that, the numbers, PPV and live gate will be very big if ever this fight is going to happen in the next coming months.

That is not a problem for Terence Crawford, let's not forget that the man was even ready to accept as low as 30% share just to make the Spence vs Crawford undisputed fight to reality. But even that, it wasn't enough to have an agreement as it almost took another year for them to finally agree on something and decided to materialized it. So in this case, I don't think that Crawford will heed for a much bigger money/share as he know that Canelo will always move a country in his fights.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 12, 2023, 02:52:09 PM
I'm not really viewing Takuma as a threat because he doesn't have that one punch like his brother does.

We should disregard Takuma Inoue being the younger brother of Naoya Inoue when it comes to analyzing the fight.

Instead, we can consider saying that Takuma might not be a threat to Ancajas because of;

a) fighting experience
b) not a Knock Out specialist
c) the WBO Bantamweight title he owned was vacant prior

But personally for me, threat or not, I don't want to think that Takuma Inoue should be an easy fight for Ancajas. He is now a champion and will defend his first-ever WBO Bantamweight title in front of his fellow countrymen. It will fuel more to unleash his best performance as a champion.

Right, weighing the options whom to bet while also thinking that Takuma got the name of an Inoue as he is the younger brother will somehow cloud our judgement and that will not help us in determining which player got more chances because having the Inoue name will somehow speak louder rather than knowing the real facts to give our bets a better chances.

Although, I couldn't help but think what does Takuma felt? I mean, people will always see him in Naoya's shadow because they both share the same name and people will always compare them because they are opposite. To say the truth, I know that it doesn't feel right but that is his reality as they are both in the same industry.
I guess he can't do anything about it, the stigma will be there him and his brother being compared. It's not that first time though that we have seen brothers in boxing, we have the Charlo brothers as well, but only Jermell is the active one.

But to get out of that stigma, I guess what Takuma should do is to just fight and win, simply as that. Of course, he can set this goal to be undisputed, but it's going to be very difficult as there are a lot of great champions in this division. And unless he has the power like his brother, gonna be hard for him, just saying.

Talking about some siblings who are a professional boxers, Manny Pacquiao also have a brother named Bobby Pacquiao who was somehow successful in his path during his time but people are also comparing because they are both different from each other. Just like Takuma and Naoya, but in Pacquiao sibling's case, Bobby decided to step down much earlier to give way for Pacquiao and so that there will be no comparison.

photo credits to Basketball Forever in Facebook

Aaand it has officially started. LeBron reportedly orchestrating the 2024 upcoming Olympics for the team USA. Rumors said that he have already reached out to KD, Curry, AD, Tatum, and Draymond Green to play with him. It has been said that these superstars are ready to commit to play in Olympics, most especially Stephy Curry who has yet to play in the Olympics.
There are also additional rumors that Kyrie, Fox, Booker Lillard, and those superstars who are in the picture above have expressed their interest in playing along with LeBron.

Now, this really getting interesting as this is going to be LeBron and KD's final dance for sure and this is going to be the Redemption Team 2.0 lol!

And just like what I said, their lost in the FIBA was a sting to this NBA players who refuses or doesn't want to play for team USA. Now that they have suffered one worst lost again in their history, it's just fitting that players like Lebron will have to think about the next Olympics and represent their country to at least get back the honor they once had in the basketball arena.

Just look at who got the MVP in the FIBA, Dennis Schröder, not saying that he is not a good player, but with the level of competition, Dennis was able to rally his team to bring the Gold and won that awards that I think Lebron or any superstar mentioned can do as part of a USA team.

It's quite confusing to me because if they were really aiming to get the gold then the roster they have sent should've been more capable and not just those star players who are still young and not so experienced. On the bright side, these young players are now more experienced because of the exposure they got during their run in the FIBA but then again, they are just a hyped roster that doesn't really stand out. Also, many have speculated that maybe Germany couldn't make it if Jokic played with the Serbia.

Bitcoin is just like any other investment that has no guarantees to succeed and won’t be making you profitable in the end. That’s the reality about bitcoin. However, hearing a lot of bitcoin testimonies from different walks of life, people will easily fall on the belief that bitcoin is another get rich quick scheme. Unless if they won’t experience losing instantly from bitcoin due to wrong information, then people will stick to how they have known bitcoin from the start.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: September 10, 2023, 06:26:31 PM
Ideally, I would chose real estate over crypto investment because for me the profits are highly secured and much more stable than crypto profits. However, it requires a huge capital for someone to acquire a property and make some profits from it. The reason why I am working for it through investing in crypto first even with a small amount. Once I get to earn sufficient profits to buy real estate, then I will stick to my goal without leaving crypto investment on the side. I guess if I can have both of these investments, this will probably makes me experience more comfortable life and more stable finances of my own.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions dealing on: September 10, 2023, 05:37:45 PM
It seems easy to come up with a few tips needed to deal with trading emotions, but in reality it will not work completely. Using TP/SL might help, but unstable emotional control will destroy all strategies and not work as desired. Some activities aimed at avoiding emotions will not be carried out completely. It's just a diversion, but when we return to trading emotions will arise and it won't be good. One of the reasons why they have unstable emotions is because they don't have enough knowledge about trading and how to manage trades well.
Well said. Emotions are actually hard to control especially if you don’t highly understand what you are doing. Trading is all about making yourself profitable by taking some risk and overcoming them. And as long as you trade in order to chase for profits, emotions will always be present. For me, that’s normal. But the challenge to control your emotions is quite unusual simply because emotions are part of a human being, and trying to control it takes more of our skills and strategies to make it possible. While it’s quite easy for others to control their emotions because of their long trading experience, most of those who start to trade fail to control and end up seeing theirselves ultimately losing their funds.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 10, 2023, 01:11:57 PM
And I read that this is for the interim WBC title at 135 lbs? What gives? I mean they still have their regular champion in Haney so why the hell WBC have to put up another interim belt on the line? It doesn't make sense. All they have to do is wait for the result of this fight and whoever it is, then fight their regular champion, be the mandatory fighter for the belt held by Haney?

I guess corrupt WBC will have to give way again to Top Rank to have another champion in the line for them. In any case, this is a good fight as I have said before, but Shakur for me has the better skills and will win the fight.

The confusion is caused by the ridiculous amount of belts that the WBC hands out. They have the regular champion, franchise champion, champion in recess, and interim championship. The media is reporting that Shakur vs. Martin is for the interim belt but the WBC website states that it's for the vacant title which means that Haney is no longer champion. Shakur is already the mandatory but Haney has decided to move up in weight and fight Prograis instead. The other sanctioning bodies should follow suit and allow the top challengers to fight for their titles instead of allowing Haney to hold the belts hostage in a division he is no longer competing in.

Just like in the case of Charlo if I'm not mistaken, either of the brother has held hostage the belt that they hold one time or another. Like Jermell, who is going to fight Canelo next. He is supposed to fight Tszyu for the belt but then they postponed it because of his supposedly hand injuries.

Now, he is fighting Canelo, so they should have stripped him of the belt and let Tsyzu become their regular champion. As for this fight, yes, this should be for the vacant because it's obvious that the champion is campaigning to a higher division already.

It's not that new anymore because we already saw some boxers who did it, it's just a business after all and it's about giving some favors in-exchange for another favor that they might need in the coming future. They may able to hide it in plain sight but the signs that they are doing cannot be ignored specially for the people who has been following the latest news in boxing as it's hard to believe that they are just doing these stunts without something in return.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 10, 2023, 12:39:43 PM
[....]
What team are you rooting for? Are you supporting Germany? Smiley
I was rooting for Germany but some members made a decent argument that Serbia has a high chance if they could lock down Dennis. We know they're one of the best defensive teams in this tournament.
Germany is composed of good 3-point shooters. If Serbia wants to lock down Schröder, that means they will focus their defense on him, probably putting two defenders on him. However, the risk is that it will open up opportunities for the shooters, who won't hesitate to take their shots. There has been a slight odds movement, and I believe the reason is that bettors are slightly shifting toward Germany. If I recall correctly, when the line opened, Serbia was the slight favorite, but now it's in favor of Germany.

Still, it's hard to predict because both teams have equal skills. It's now about how well their coaches can devise a game plan and make adjustments during the game. These four-quarter games should never be boring; one team might have a big run, but I'm sure the other will come back.

This is going to be interesting, just a few minutes to go before the Finals clash between Germany and Serbia. In my sports bookies, the line changed again in just a matter of minutes before the game commences and Serbia is now the favorite.

It seems to me that the crowd is divided here as some are saying that Serbia got an upper hand because even if most of their players aren't from NBA, they can't still be underestimated as they managed to get in this position and being a defensive team is not easy to oppose. But I'd say, Germany is the same too, if they focus too much on Dennis, it will be their loss because the other players in the same roster cannot be left unguarded.

Earning should not be your main focus here but to establish your knowledge and skills first. That means you have to do your own diligence to learn all about the forum and its underlying topics that will give you brilliant ideas on how to earn from this forum later on. For now, do not be obsessed with earning profits, as it will eventually happen if you have familiarize everything in the forum that will be easier for you by then to take some risk and enter into jobs or services wherein you can be well compensated.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 09, 2023, 05:07:05 PM

One of the things that most excites me about this boxer is that he is when it comes to challenges, rematches, and above all when there is a belt or something similar, well, he assumes it and prepares himself with more intensity, perhaps the fact of being a A very disciplined person and that is what marks him out compared to others, I want to see this fight and see what kind of strategy Tapales will use, but where I went, my strategy was to be on the defensive, make him get tired and counterattack, because the truth is I can't think of any strategy against him, because he really is a boxer who can quickly read the other boxer's plan, and I think that is also the intelligence he uses, and that is quite difficult for some, For me, boxing is 80% intelligence and 20% effort with the body, however, what you train the most is your body to resist the blows that you are going to receive.

It is the advantage of Inoue. He anticipates his opponent's strategy and adjusts things at the right timing.

If he sees that he can absorb his opponent's attack, then expect him to be more aggressive. I used to remember the first fight against
Donaire where after being almost taken down.

When he manages to get up and compose his self, that the time he really become aggressive and really attacks the most, then
he earned that fight a win.
The first fight against Donaire, it was the last time that we have seen Inoue almost lost the fight. It was a hard fought give and take and he absorbs all what Donaire can bring to the point that he suffered a broken orbital bone and yet he pushes for the fight and win it.

But there are fans or even boxers who thought that Inoue lost that fight. If I'm not mistaken, Roy Jones Jr was one of them. I remember as well though, that Jone is a big fan of Donaire so he might be biased on that.

I think that is why a rematch has took place and that is to end all the issues once and for all, eventually, it was a 2-0 in favor of Inoue and Donaire haven't even had the chance to rally back and regain a momentum because he didn't anticipated the fact that he will face a much stronger and unpredictable Inoue who finished their fight in just like a whim. Although years have passed before their rematch but it's all the same to me, Donaire's good but his years are already over.

It's a shame that Donaire is a boxer that he didn't appreciate as he was, it's also that when compared to Inoue's career it's not anything, it's known that Inoue is literally a Monster when fighting, and he's also very very intelligent. So an Inoue with a Donaire is a big advantage, really, and I would think that right now Inoue is at a level of boxing where he can beat any boxer who comes his way, of course I say this because of what he has been demonstrating at all times. Personally, for me, Inoue cannot be compared to Donaire. Regarding Donaire, I think he needs to train a lot. I'm not saying because of his age, I'm saying it because of him, because of the things he can develop, as I have said on many occasions. , I am one of those who think that a boxer wins his fights at the time of his training, and if the training is stronger, more intense than that of the other boxer, then he will win, otherwise I believe that in a fight, unless If something extraordinary happens to the other person, they can win, but that rarely happens.

It's not really a shame because Donaire has proved enough in the industry of what he can do, he achieved enough that Manny Pacquiao himself trusted and passed the torch to him to make the Filipinos proud, and as a Filipino, I'm proud of what he has become but when it comes to reality, it's hard to argue that Donaire is already in the sunset of his career while Inoue is still at his sunrise.

We can say that age might not be a factor but that is not really the case because let's not forget that Donaire is already at his 40s and it's hard to say really that he still have the power and speed to keep up with the guys who are still on the height of their prime like Naoya Inoue.

For people like us who still struggles to invest money on Bitcoin I want to know if one day, 1 sat can ever cost as much as 1 cent? Is this possible? Sorry I can't afford to dollar cost into Bitcoin like everyone else, it's very hard for me, all I need is hope.

I can only afford to invest into Bitcoin once in two month and that's not every with big money, you should understand my situation, I am too shamed to call a number.

Is there any hope for small Bitcoin buyers like myself? Can 1Sat ever be 1 Cent one day?
There's nothing wrong about your slow investment with bitcoin. Of course, with how our current economy these days, it's hard to prioritize investment over our basic needs. But as long as you are still doing your part, and does not give up on your investment goal, hope will always be there.

I'm not sure as to when 1 sat will turn into 1 cent, but one thing is for sure, your bitcoin investment will never come into waste. Instead, as long as there is hard work and persistency, your bitcoin investment will definitely find its own way to succeed in the future. Just believe in yourself that you can do it and have faith in bitcoin as well.
839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH LESS MONEY? on: September 08, 2023, 08:53:42 PM
indeed taking big risks is a terrible act, because it is more inclined towards betting or gambling. I think if we have a little capital, then it would be nice for us to enrich knowledge first, and getting rich is not difficult with knowledge, but indeed everything requires a process, not in a blink of an eye. We know that in the crypto world, many new rich people have been created, moreover every time a bull run comes, some of them are lucky, some have planned beforehand, I think that hoping for luck can only lead to disappointment.

Gambler never can attain the profit they wish to have because they take forward step blindly as they never know what to do and never try to realize that what is important for me to win in this field. To examine their luck they regularly put money in some useless coin which does not have any future without knowing that which coin is profitable.

Money does not matters but knowledge matters a lot for instance if you have little amount of money and complete knowledge then you will be able to get large sum easily but if you have larger amount of money but don't know how to use it and select wrong coin then your trading and working is useless.
You are right in here. It takes a brilliant mind to make a business work, regardless of the amount of capital. And the smaller the amount is, then it’s more important that you’re highly knowledgeable about what you are taking risk into, otherwise all your money and efforts will only go into waste. Furthermore, experience will be a great factor too to make you successful and profitable at the end of the day. Without it, you will surely strive hard to make it ultimately work.

does it really matter if you hide your gambling activities? For sure, someone will find it out or someone will notice it because you can't really hide it as you've been spending a lot of time on it, which the people around you noticed, so they can still find it out and even try to help you if they want, though the problem really is that if that gambler is willing to get help because they always deny that they are already addicted.
I think the fact that you may even feel the need to hide is enough proof that you shouldn't do it. If you have to hide your gambling you should ask yourself what am I doing that requires hiding, and should I do it. Too many people find reasons for it, and they still do it, but excuses do not really cover you.

You should not gamble at all if you have to hide it, that is the proof that it's a bad thing for you. I am not hiding it, I gamble and love it but I can limit my losses and stop whenever I want to and that has been the case for nearly 10 years now. That is proof enough that I could end up doing alright, and should be doing alright. I think it would be a lot more important to continue that way without a problem.

In my case, I'm not hiding it literally, it's just that I'm not vocal about my gambling activities since I know what people might think if they know what I'm into. I may not be an addict towards gambling but that is the thing, it will not make any difference at all if someone will know as in most instances, they will automatically think that you're a bad influence and an addict even if you're not.
