Interesting, there was a case around a year ago, I was newbie at that time, of one user who was de-ranked and he wanted his avatar to be removed /it was a signature campaign stuff/, because he had no access to the avatar menu to remove it himself. I don't really remember what happened then and what was the outcome but I remember that he had no access to the menu and he posted some screenshots.

Even with falling hashrate, the current hashrate is comparable to the hashrate at July-2018/Aug 2018. If we did not experiencedany 51% attack till july 2018( when price is higher than current price) than we do not need to worry about current hashrate.

In any case, I want my accounts to be returned the right to leave posts and carry a signature, and this is the only branch, as I understand it, where you can ask to unlock your account. In above post Veleor already posted proof of your plagiarism and it results in permanent ban for person, not for account only. Forum rule says that from now onwards you should use forum for read only access. PS: Just wondering, Do you have any idea what plagiarism actually means? It is considered as theft. I do not know if surrounded really act as synonym for banned, so I replaced with word banned. |

You can see even OP red tagged but people's are still applying for campaign. Sometimes I wonder maximum people's even don't know about red tag until they got it.
I think they know. They only able to smell scam if they do not get their bounty tokens payment. For bounty,they can believe in the project than can double the money in 45 days. |

If I post a worthwhile topic from a newbie account, it is no surprise if it gets buried.
Posting from a full member account which used to be treated "fairly", due to a down to Earth & friendly username, now that same account gets mostly ignored due to having no merits to give away.

Another possibility , somebody is already above full member rank , deleted all the post without removing avatar. New rank will change to newbie but that existing avatar will exist. |

I think the days of ICOs are over. We may see a few good ones start, but I suspect they will be rare. All the scams seem to hace triggered the call for regulation, and hopefully that will reduce the number of scams. I understand that more than 95% of the ones created so far have been rubbish and fraudulent.
+1 with you. Government are making rules as well as educating the investors also about the pitfalls. So many scam/failed ICO also serves as warning to the investor to look deeper before investing. we have lot of article in forum to evaluate the ICO legitness. |

Before we analyze the crash I wanted to know what exactly caused bitcoin to do 19X in 2017?
I am new in crypto but I did not found any development in bitcoin (apart from Segwit) that is path breaking in 2017 but it still rose.
I think ICOs increased demands of BTC, people invested in them as crazy. In 2018 everybody knows that ICOs are scam and they are not able to gather the BTC they used to be decreased the demand.
All the BTC that was gained by scam ICO might be also getting offloaded.

I would gladly make a purchase of many hardware wallets using Bitcoin and sell some off them off later. Btw it baffles me sometimes to find a legitimate online shop selling crypto related items and yet there is no payment option in form of crypto. All use see are PayPal and other bank transfer payment options
I guess , they are afraid of volatility. Bitcoin swinging 10% to downside will hamper their profit. (you can say it can go up 10% too but when we start business we like to have well defined sustainability and profit model) i.e one of reason I guess. Second, we are all used to current system, it will take time to adopt or start a new system. |

hey THX man, i just believe in it(BTC) and have my personal perspective around BTC, and that says i MUST HODL and must try to LIVE with it where its possible @the time.... so when i can transact with BTC i do, i think its as important as many of the other things....
Hodling is different concept, but in current scenario is it better to wait for more dip before buying. |

You are free to scan and find the answer. Since I read mainly the altcoin sections, I would say that 90% of posters there should be banned, if the rules would be strictly applied. But I don't think this is the way of handling a community, banning everybody.
You are correct that banning everybody is not a way to build a community, but welcoming everybody is also not a way to build a community when they do not fit the bill. In almost 5 years, I posted over 1600 posts. Is it correct to ban me because I made some mistakes? My overall reputation and positive feedbacks are nothing? Did somebody complain about me or my posts, except the one that I clearly copied? Zero tolerance for everybody, or only for me?
Apart for plagiarism, you are in spammers list too. I think this forum has the privilege to lead a movement. It should include more and more people, not only kick them out.

I am going for ledger nano S as it support more coin (though I do not need it now) and read that is has more user friendly interface the trezor.
Good thing it is is on 50% deal on Amazon but should I use Amazon ? Reading reviews says that do not use any third party to buy hardware wallet.
I am going to buy from ledger NanoS site and my research pointed that they occasionally gives discount so I will wait and watch for their discount.
