121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 16, 2018, 10:32:17 AM
From what I've seen based on SPs updates, their miners (especially enemy) is updated about a day later with changes SP makes. Hence why open software doesn't go anywhere.
Enemy adopt sp_ "improvements" and release his miner that is faster than sp_ slow miner with all those "improvements".
Nice logic.  Shocked

For a person with normal logic it is evident that sp_ can't compete with z-enemy/t-rex miners and he make his "improvements" based on what z/t already implemented. That's why this miner is not sold as others - noone will by slow miner. That's why in this case sp_ decided to be a "knight in white clothes" and release slow but opensource miner.  Grin

P.S. But anyway - it is good work from some point of view.

Which card are you using?
Funakoshi-miner is much faster on 1080
read what kron79 has to say

Exactly on 1080rig I get ~325 from EWBF and ~300 with your miner.
It's only PL55 and EWBF still make 46.5sol/s average. With PL90-100 it can be much faster.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Performance jump in v4.4 of Funakoshi Cuda Miner in algo equihash 144,5 on: September 09, 2018, 04:14:29 PM
Release v4.4 of funakoshi-miner is the fastest EquiHash 144,5 solver.

GTX 1080 avg 48 sol/s
GTX 1070 avg 42 sol/s
GTX 1060 6gb avg 27 to 28 sol/s

You are welcome to read more about it and to
download the solver from my github repository.

EWBF is faster by considerable margin.

I thought that dev should say something about situation with MN rewards - or better to say NO REWARDS for all except hackers.
Will it last for days/weeks/months? Or everyone just need to run those hacking scripts?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zealot/Enemy (z-enemy) NVIDIA GPU miner. on: September 03, 2018, 12:18:37 PM
Hey Smiley i just published my review and benchmarks for z-enemy nvidia gpu miner, the results can be found here https://1stminingrig.com/z-enemy-1-16-nvidia-miner-review-and-benchmarks/

How come you get 52 mh/s on the timetravel algo ?
What's the problem? 50Mh/s are achieved at PL65 and no OC. With 100/500 52 is not a problem.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: --- ChainWorks Industries --- on: September 02, 2018, 07:36:41 PM
Slowly, this will unfold, and you being one of the more vocal naysayers (for the last two years I have watched and responded your (mostly) negative posts)
I wouldn't call it negative. Pragmatic view or pessimistic - is a better definition.
All is based on the over a year of experience. Just what I see from deeds not words. It doesn't matter for investor what is "behind the scene" if it exists only in words. We already had bad experience with an "advanced SP_devastating miner", when all words remained only words and "soon" became "never will". New SWEEP wallet was also supposed to be released but not in reality:

Quote from: chrysophylax
New Wallets are currently under way. All new wallets will have the CWI-SeedNodes hardcoded, which should make for a seamless and quick synchronization process.
.....
the next release of the wallets WILL be just for the seednodes once we get them compiled - installed - and running ...
....
when the nodes are used - PATIENCE is absolutely necessary for sync ... in the new version we will have seednodes built in / hardcoded - and wont require this step
....

our new wallet is just going to have the added seednodes hardcoded in them for ease of sync ...
that will be the only difference from the older wallet - to the newer wallet for the time being ...
all links will be updated as we get that sorted ...

It was on 23.08.2017-25.08.2017. A year had passed - but wallet is still "under way". And please don't tell me that you gave no definite period - I don't want again to argue about evident things that seednodes don't need a year to get them "compiled - installed - and running".
So, that is what potential investor really see behind your big posts claiming something like "we are making new Manhattan project but won't show you, or will show, but tomorrow" ... that never come.

Of cause I'n hopping for better but ready for worse.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: --- ChainWorks Industries --- on: September 02, 2018, 05:43:15 PM
For SWEEP ...
03sat - 16MSWEEP
07sat - 16MSWEEP
16sat - 16MSWEEP
25sat - 7MSWEEP
I doubt that someone will buy at 25, 16 or even 7sat price with only: "we will start working in next month". It is much cheaper to mine with current diff - if someone really need SWEEP.
Potential investor can only see none of the development for a year since you've got SWEEP, no exchanges at all, no whitepaper. If he can he will calculate mining price and realize that even 3sat is very very pricy.
So, whats the plan when your "sale" fails?

WTF happened recently?

The same picture on different wallets.
All were mining mostly lyra2z. But Actual24 profit is what it is supposed to be. 0.04mbtc even slightly more that estimated average.

round 3 complete, onto round 4
Thats what I was talking about. 1gpu and 10hours is not enough to exclude luck factor.
You can get 10 times black in roulette while each time chances are equal.

talk about false equvalencies and hyperbole ......

are you arguing hash order only changes once per hour? it's unclear. i agree longer tests are somewhat "better", but for now this will give me a rough idea of which miner is producing more coins on average.
I think you dont get it. Im talking about luck to solve a share. 3 instances of the same miner would find different number of  shares, and the difference could be the same 10 20%. The only way to equalize chances is increasing the quantity of gpu or time.

Of cause its better than nothing. But 1gpu and 10hours - at least 10-15% is luck difference.

Luck is not a factor in these tests, all 3 miners are on the same pool mining identical blocks — their luck is the exact same .
Are you serious? You can run 3 instances of the same miner on these gpus and easily get 10% difference in shares.

This miner is ~3% faster than Enemy for x16r from what I can see.
And free SP miner faster than t-rex - good news.
It' s only in sleasy dreams of sp.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.8.3 — NVIDIA GPU Miner on: August 15, 2018, 04:48:45 PM
It looks like you dislike gtx 1070 ti. It makes less than gtx 1070.
Both 1080 and 1070ti (3400) are slower than 1070(3750) in lyra2z.
1060 is very close to them.(3300)
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 13, 2018, 03:33:19 PM
I get it, thanks. With this speed BTX hits the top of WTM by far!
1.44$ from 1080ti - doesn't make sense.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] T-Rex 0.5.7 Nvidia GPU miner (Windows & Linux) on: August 12, 2018, 03:55:39 PM
CryptoDredge 0.8.3 destroys T-Rex in both lyra2z and phi2 Wink
Not always. I got 0H/s when 50PL on 1070 (at least)
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HASH-KINGS 2.0 THE ULTIMATE MINING EXPERIENCE WITH ALL ALGOS IN ONE PLATFORM on: August 09, 2018, 08:25:08 PM
1) Can I ask have you really tried the software? From what I read, you gave up after it hung on you...it seems you are missing some information on our miner.
2) I could be wrong though...you seem to be concerned on visual appearance and while agree that is important and we are working on it...our energy is going into the operation of our software, when we get bugs out we will work on a new GUI as stated from our CEO Cryptominer.
1) Again you speak about your soft as a miner.
2) There is a difference between soft for geeks and userfriendly one. Nicehash made NH2 much more simple then previous version. Simplicity of usage is important anyway. Also there are different requests from small motherhouse miners and owners of dozens/hundreds of rigs.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HASH-KINGS 2.0 THE ULTIMATE MINING EXPERIENCE WITH ALL ALGOS IN ONE PLATFORM on: August 09, 2018, 07:37:28 PM
One thing though...yes, the comparison is due to our miners...but the speeds are accurate. If you have faster miners than NH you will make more than NH. What are you saying here? That we can't claim to have faster speeds because we use different miners? But our speeds are faster, by a wide margin.
I mean that anyone can also use faster miners with nicehash and get better results also. But the point is that comparing hashrate of algoswitching soft is ridiculous. Miners are compared by hashrate. But you present it as if your soft was a miner.

I also want to mention that we are far more than just a profit switching platform...we want people to have easy ability to mine coins directly. Our main goal is to have a software that makes it easier to not only mine directly but also walk through the steps to exchange (we are working on this part)

We also recommend that if you do profit switching that you try and get paid in different currency than just BTC...we just want everyone to have all the options available to mine any coin.
You'd better look at your competitors. Many of them give the ability to mine directly. For example HashAuger is much more user friendly. Also can mine custom coins and include them in profit switching algo. MinerControl also can do the same. AwsomeMiner - the same and also has some kind of "server" part. HiveOS has great userfriendly and stylish server part - but it's linux and has it's drawbacks for ordinary miner. Especially in profitswitching terms - not "out of the box".
For the moment - you definetly need at least a UI designer - yours is not good at all. Even pdf has colors that tear out my eyes.
Miners also are obsolete in your soft. Latest versions gave nice improvements. The idea to download all of them in a zip (nicehash way) is not good at all. Redownload each time whole zip, when 1 or 2 were changed?

I'm not sure why bitcointalk took down our post showing NH vs HK but they did

These are some comparisons between NH and HK

Just a few comparison of algo speeds vs nicehash

algo                       nh                     HK
neoscrypt          1.4MH/s            1.39MH/s
lyra2REv2         66.74MH/s        78.37MH/s
x11 Gost           11.38MH/s        16.2 MH/s
Blake2s               5.9GH/s            7.2GH/s
Skunk                 50.91MH/s        52.3MH/s
Lyra2z               2.9MH/s               3.8MH/s
x16r                   13MH/s                17MH/s

We are so much more than profit switching...with almost every GPU algorithm, we welcome you to try and also become involved in giving ideas to make this even better!
What comparison? Different miners? Everyone can use better miners than nicehash.
What I see is rather bad soft. It downloaded 1Gb+ of miners. On nvidia only rig it downloaded a bunch of useless sgminer and other amd-only miners. For what reason? Than it just hang because of hang hardware monitoring driver and didn't even gave no option not to use it.
