The coins should be left alone, invalidating them goes against the spirit of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. They belong to the class action now as part of everything else they seized, and the owners who registered as claimants would receiving a part of that regardless of whatever individual altcoins they had held on Cryptsy.
There is no need to destroy and then make up for lost CBX as any sell off into markets will redistribute the CBX just. i would expect it would conducted in a similar manner to the US Marshall auctions of Silk Road Bitcoins, so there is no threat of a surprise dump, if anything it will help the market as those that interested in acquiring a significant amount of CBX at that time will be able to do so, or prepare their orders in the markets.

Why not invent a way to give back the coins to original stakeholders. I've lost over 20,000 CBX for example.
Ouch! Sorry to hear that BTCat How would you propose doing this? One would literally have to track through the history of all the coins in the Cryptsy wallet to determine what the last address was prior to shipment into Cryptsy. As all addresses and owners are anonymous, how would one be able to determine which previous addresses were still Cryptsy and which were the last non-Cryptsy ones? It is a very interesting idea though... as i posted a while back this is the main cryptsy wallet, if you ever had a deposit address with Cryptsy it highly likely it will be in here https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?2930.htm - Cryptsy(scam) - 15.655377 CBX, 9049 known addresses here are other known addresses that i was hoping would have been tagged by now on Cryptoid https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/address.dws?124197.htm - Cryptsy Class Action Receiver - 124,649.167564 CBX (unmoved since receiver took ownership of them, coins swept from 2930) https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?107709.htm - Banx.io (closed) - 0.0 CBX, 55 known addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?123705.htm - Cryptomic (closed) 8.553224 CBX, 12 known addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?8245.htm - CoinEX (scam) - 339.165943 CBX 953 known addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?95022.htm - Crypto-Trade (closed) - 197.290188 CBX, 36 known addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?65213.htm - Coins-E - (scam) 12,675.897554 CBX, 221 known addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?94382.htm - Old CBX Foundation wallet - 503.358041 CBX, 52 known addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?125039.htm - Current CBX Foundation wallet - 28,217.735193 CBX (down from 90,000 swept into here earlier in the year, later 60,000 appears to have moved to the SPK ICO, comments from SPK devs about this? ), 1 known address https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?129033.htm - SPK Quintessence dev fund - 186,866.538076 CBX https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?127822.htm - SPK Quintessence ICO escrow wallet - 0.0CBX (moved to the devs wallet after ICO completed, about 1 third of the CBX received came from previously tagged foundation addresses) https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?98254.htm - Yobit 5,003.39733 CBX - 519 known addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/wallet.dws?98857.htm - Cryptopia 20,807.4499 CBX - 854 known addresses Bittrex also had CBX market in the market but I have no information with which to identify their wallet (requires a few different users who have deposited or withdrawn CBX from there) Some screenshots from Cryptoid Largest by Address count Largest by Net worth

In about 2-3 weeks, after I start the next request, I will need the community to post in chat box @ the targeted site or engage in other promotional activities to get a modified SWAP program set up for us. cheers. how could this be swapped? it has no real block chain so no way to check or verify addresses or transactions, it was never open sourced and the devs are long gone. Does the webwallet even work still?

Most of them have been marked by me a long time ago, and by several other people recently (check this topic 2 pages back). sorry didn't see that, i did these connections some months ago when the CBX promo was running but never got around to posting it in here. Did you also have their twitter accounts? i have some more lists of other individuals that dont appear to have been linked yet, i'll do that later after checking back throught the history.

CBX devs appear to have been busy with a new PoSP coin called PSB?

Looks like a scam, UFOMiners LLC company does not exist anywhere, new website only created a a few weeks ago The miners sound too good to true, free shipping and no history at all for this company found anywhere yet they claimed to have been involved in this industry since start of 2014 At the beginning of 2014 UfoMiners started a project of developing equipment for mining scrypt cryptocurrencies, which we plan to finish at the second half of 2014. Besides that we are simultaneously developing the second generation of Bitcoin miners. As compared to the first generation, which had a limited run, these miners will be available to a wide range of customers. https://archive.is/o/D1og7/ufominers.com/indexUFOMiners Launches Four Miners For Bitcoin And Litecoin Elliot Maras on 29/10/2016 UFOMiners, a Las Vegas-based manufacturer of cryptocurrency mining equipment, has introduced four miners for bitcoin and Litecoin mining. The hardware – MesaMiner, NekrosMiner, OberonMiner and OberonMiner Prime – are available at a price range of $3,200 and $4,900.
MesaMiner MesaMiner ufominers-nekrosminer NekrosMiner Both MesaMiner and NekrosMiner provide a hashing speed of 60 TH/s and 85 TH/s, respectively, for bitcoin mining. MesaMiner is a special edition of RinoMiner and is available for $3,600. NekrosMiner provides greater power and sells for $4,800.
ufominers-oberonminer OberonMiner Oberon Prime Oberon Prime OberonMiner and OberonMiner Prime are designed for Litecoin mining with a hashing speed of 1.2 GH/s and 2.2 GH/s. They sell for $3,200 and $4,900, respectively.
Quality Control Manufacturing
All UFOMiners equipment undergoes a 2-stage test procedure during and after the manufacturing process to minimize the chances of defects. All four UFOMiners hardware come with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
UFOMiners, having launched in 2014, develops all the key components for the hardware in-house without having to rely on third-party solutions. The company manages the design and development of all of its equipment.

Pay Using Cryptocurrency
Customers can buy any of the UFOMiners products directly from the company’s website using bitcoin, Litecoin and wire transfer deposits. Shipping is free using courier services like FedEx, UPS or DHL and includes all required accessories for instant deployment.
The company specializes in cryptocurrency mining hardware, blockchain-based technologies and remote hardware access services. Some light digging turned up an Andrew Chiffer of the UK who have been associated with a similar scam a year ago here: "Anyone used of hear of minerslab.com? Any refund, will be sent to the address that you designate in your account on the ICO website.
I created an account, but can't see where I can specify a refund address? "Your account was not verified yet" For people having problem the not verified problem, after clicking the verification link via email i found i still get that message if using my username as a login name, the solution that worked for me is to use my email address as login name instead and it will then proceed to dashboard.

Hey Paul Vernon, is that you? Seriously who owns this site, every other "crypto-trade" has ended up scamming. What is their experience and qualifications to run and secure an exchange?

So you will have a new coin to replace old CBX? It looks like neos swap, verium-vericoin.
CBX is not being replaced and will remain as a sidechain of the new Quintessence platform (crypto 2.0). As stated in the white paper, CBX will have a specific purpose as a store of wealth in the new network. Sounds great, i'm looking forward to seeing how the sidechain will interact with Quintessence.

Count me in, this is a very encouraging development I have kept the CBX signature from the previous campaign up to now still showing, can i combine it with the new one? CBX address: 5hdeaXvJbqA1yxRVe5NuJtogyGAy2af9Rz

If you buy bitcoin from coinbase you can obviously move it offline after which it's as safe as your offline wallet is. You can still buy bitcoin from coinbase obviously. Just holding them there might not be the best option.
still the risk coinbase will freeze an account using AML/KYC as a reason. No site with a AML/KYC policy can be considered safe, they will always have the KYC policy on hand to use to justify holding your bitcoins, freezing ones account regardless of how verified user may be. To date KYC/AML policies have only ever protected exchanges not users. Scam exchanges such as Cryptsy, have used AML polcies to steal from users in the past.

The new site looks great Good to know the team is still here for CBX. But its concerning that we have lost over 50% of the nodes that were present before the hard fork, now just 15 connections, when there was over 35 pre fork. It would have been better if the hard fork occured when majority of stakers agreed to it, similar to how bigger blocks proposals with bitcoin required something like 75% of last 1000 blocks to be from miners using the modified bitcoin version. this would mean a smoother transition without the loss of significant number of participants on the network. anyway something to consider for any future hardforks. Also I would ask that there is alot more discussion and proposals regarding anything "Crypto2.0" then just a poll., imho most of them are just for hype ("its not bitcoin") and do not actually solve anything that needs solving in a decentalized P2P crypto currency. whereas PoSP has already provided a working solution to encourage more decentralization and increase participation in the network. Some of these Crypto2.0 are already using over 50GB to store their blockchain in the short time they have existed and grows at rates of over 10GB/month, (eg Ethereum), as greater demands on resources (storage, bandwidth, energy etc). This type of blockchain will surpass the requirements of even Bitcoin soon and would discourage or even make impossible for the little guy wherever in the world they are from " participating" in the network.
