121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLYGON as a national currency. on: May 10, 2023, 01:32:57 AM
What steps can a country leader takes before adopting POLYGON as a means of payment or transactions in a country with low level of education. As it's known to be one of the best user friendly platform for easy transactions.
Even polygon cannot be used as a national currency because to do so would require a TPS of 50k or more. Most countries will utilize their own private chains with 10 or less validators to ramp up the TPS. You could use a public blockchain like Polygon or Q Blockchain for digital ID or voting however as these things do not require transactions, only signing on metamask.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: May 10, 2023, 01:31:01 AM
Quite a lot have happened in the crypto investment market with the long run of a bear market in 2022, as a result of the various market crisis ranging from ftx bankruptcy and Luna crash that affect the market for a long time, before the present recovery, many crypto analysts such as myself are confused as for what the level of confidence of investors towards altcoins in this period. Do you consider any altcoin to be pf future profiting, if yes then what is the percentage calculation of your confidence level in that coin and why should we hold them for a long-term basis?
Most of my money is in alts and I will sell my BTC as soon as the next bullrun arrives. We have seen that after each halving the return on BTC is less, there is barely any profit in it now. Alts like Cake, DRC, SimpsAI, 0xMR, UTNP, TRI, Q Blockchain have much more upside.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the signs of the next bull market for cryptocurrencies ? on: May 10, 2023, 01:29:10 AM

We have seen high contrast of market situations in real business world and the crypto space recently: Banks like SVB went bankrupt and caused a lot of fear and anxiety in the market; after a price drop within a short period, Bitcoin has gone up excessively to a high price which seems to be stable for a while; ETH and other big name altcoins have also enjoyed a price surge. More people are predicting that the next bull market is around the corner.  Is this true ? Or are you ready for the next bull market ? I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please let me know if you are interested in our new project.
Every time Tether prints a billion dollars we should see a rally. For me though, I just pack my bags with cheap cryptos and wait patiently. I'm buying XRP, XLM, 0xMR, HBAR and waiting for Q Blockchain and Lamina1 to hit exchanges.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: May 10, 2023, 01:27:38 AM
Ethereum (ETH),Binance Coin (BNB),XRP (XRP). how to choose how to distribute the interest on them?
distribute interest on them? I don't follow what you are trying to say. I can tell you that my favorite cryptos are UTNP, XRP, Q Blockchain, Bird, and Q Blockchain. Check those out.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top AI Crypto coins that can possibly change your life on: May 10, 2023, 01:26:35 AM
I like SimpsAI/SimpAI and Bird.money. Bird money is machine learning oracles and SimpsAI is adult content generated by AI.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 2 questions that bother me on: May 10, 2023, 01:25:29 AM
Hi everyone,

1/ Who determines the price of a token at launch?
For example, the SUI token cost a few cents in pre-sale and was listed at almost $1.50 on the Binance listing

2/ In your experience, is it a good idea to buy a chip the second it is listed for a profit?

Thanks for clarifying.
Often times the price is determined by the presale price given to VC. The price should not dump below that price or else VC would be selling at a loss.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm getting tired of the high fees for gwei on: May 10, 2023, 01:24:46 AM
The high fees of gwei in Ethereum transactions are due to the supply and demand dynamics of the network. When the network is congested, users need to pay higher fees to prioritize their transactions. The popularity of DeFi and NFTs has increased demand for Ethereum transactions, leading to higher fees.
Just use Shimmer or Q Blockchain, both have free gas fees.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: May 10, 2023, 01:24:24 AM
Mine was BNB, ETH, RNDR, ARB. What about you guys? What do you keep following or watching these days? and why?
0xMR- under the radar privacy project with mixer and private bridge.
UTNP- Russian project doing smart cities and CBDCs.
Q Blockchain- Supposedly working with governments on decentralized voting and governance.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: May 10, 2023, 01:23:33 AM
There are so many new projects launching everyday and some of them can be good and some of them can be a scam as well. How can we identify it well? Perhaps we should have more discussion about it so we all can learn from everyone's experience.
You know a project isn't a scam if it has been around for several years now. Also, a project can't be a scam if it is mineable and there are no team tokens to dump on the market. 0xMR is a project like this, so is RVN. Also, you won't get scammed if you do bounty tasks for free tokens. Q Blockchain and Mantle L2 are paying out on zealy io.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are a joke. on: May 10, 2023, 01:21:43 AM
So I have to pay $9 ETH to transfer 70 USDT I just received, out of my wallet? And worse, transferring any amount of ETH will set you back $3 in gas fees.

I've just converted most of my ETH to BTC, and have $0.5 left in metamask. It claims to have an "advanced gas control" when you hit Send, but it's not showing me that.

Is there a way for me to lower the gas fees from metamask, or otherwise import the wallet into some other software?
Q Blockchain fixes this. It has reverse gas fees so you never need to worry about gas fees after you initially deposit some Q. Gas fees are redistributed to holders instead of strictly going to validators like other chains.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: May 10, 2023, 01:20:34 AM
Solana Blockchain is definitely considered a good project as we saw its market peak in 2021. But last few days I saw in a news that they have launched a Saga smartphone from Solana platform. And this smartphone is very secure and powerful and it uses the facility of hardware wallet. I think this coin will be in a good position in the future and as the market is currently slightly higher, it should be held for the future. Holding Solana Coin for a long period of time will definitely yield good profits in the future. And this Solana platform has already gained huge popularity and is a very powerful blockchain.
I think Solana is a buy under 20usd but these days you don't need to even buy crypto to get rich, just do bounties, airdrops and giveaways. Zealy io has a lot of bounties and there are several accounts on Twitter giving away Q Blockchain tokens right now. You just need to look around and participate.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Osmosis or Tezos? on: May 10, 2023, 01:14:42 AM
Hello,
Osmosis has a bright future or Tezos? Which is a stronger project?
Any idea welcomed.

Thank you.
For smart contract chains I think the best ones are NEAR, Polygon, Q Blockchain and Hedera Hashgraph. Shimmer might make that list if it gets better DApps.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: May 10, 2023, 01:13:40 AM
Hi,

I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.

In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.

My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.

P
I would say put it in XRP, buy some NEAR, and do bounty tasks to get free cryptos like Shardeum and Q Blockchain on Zealy io. Don't forget to stake your NEAR.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: May 10, 2023, 01:12:33 AM

I believe everyone on this forum has made both good and bad decisions in terms of investing in altcoins. I recently made a mistake buying a lot of Dogecoins after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo into the Doge logo. Price was surging and due to FOMO, I bought a lot at the price of $0.099 and afterwards it started to dump like hell. If I continue to hold Dogecoins, the price might be dumping even lower but if I sell them now, the losses become concrete and I'll never have a chance to win back. Have you ever had the same experience ? What did/would you do ? Please share your opinions. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please contact me if you have any inquiry.
You can't time the exact top or the exact bottom and to say that crypto is manipulated would be the understatement of the century. In my opinion the best way to make it in crypto is to buy stakeable cryptos like Q Blockchain, NEAR, and Polygon, stake them, and wait for the next bullrun and slowly cash out. If you play your cards right you might get rich just off of the staking rewards and you can keep your initial investment untouched.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprise back!!!! on: May 10, 2023, 01:10:52 AM
I think Elon and others are pumping meme coins to get you to buy literal dog sht and keep you away from investing in projects with real world utility that will provide generational wealth, like XRP and Q Blockchain.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zksync ERA is here on: May 10, 2023, 01:09:31 AM
Zksync is coming sooner or later, days ago they have released their ZKsync ERA which is their Mainnet, if you want to qualify for this airdrop, you will have to do some transactions on the Mainnet too, I know some have done a lot of transactions on the testnet and the zksync 1.0 lite version, remember that this is the Mainnet, Bridge your wallet to the Miannet and start doing some transactions before its too late, ZKsync will be bigger than Arbitrum airdrop.
There are a lot of new projects like zkSYNC on zealy io doing bounty campaigns. It's a good way to get crypto before it is listed on an exchange. Currently Q Blockchain is paying out weekly. I'm not sure of the frequency the others pay out.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: May 10, 2023, 12:24:53 AM
Polygon is cheaper than Ethereum now but gas fees did go up significantly during DeFi summer. I prefer gasless L1's like Q Blockchain and Shimmer. Both of these are EVM compatible but don't cost you anything to use the network. Technically Q Blockchain has gas fees but gas fees spent are reimbursed so it is essentially free.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: May 10, 2023, 12:23:00 AM
Hello everyone, I made my first post here and the words of advice were really touching(maybe it's because I am weak-hearted) and encouraging. Thank you all for making me feel at home.

Now back to my question. My thoughts were that alternative(Alt) coins were created by organizations or developers to serve as a digital currency for their product or service, or improve on the shortcomings of their parent coin. I believed an alt coin with a real purpose was here to stay like Bitcoin.

But reading certain threads made me realize that my thoughts might be flawed and that maybe alt coins are good for making short gains and not long since some analysts believe they are subject to pump and dump. So would like to know

1. What will happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes a legal tender? Will they have a massive growth,or would people sell and jump into  Bitcoin?

2. What would happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes relatively stable( when it is fully mined and will solve its problem of price volatility)? Will alt coins survive the test of time? Will new alt coins be created later? What would become of the various countries'currencies, especially the Dollar (the global reserve currency) after Bitcoin's general acceptance?

3. If alt  coins survive in the next century what is the reason it would.

4. Should alt coins be traded rather than HODL?

I hope my questions aren't too many.

Thank you for your time once again.
1. Central banks will not give up their power, to believe so is naive.
2. If Bitcoin does not increase in value then miners will abandon the chain and it will fail.
3. Smart contract based altcoins like Polygon and Q Blockchain are like mobile phone operating systems (ios and android) each with their own applications "Dapps". It sounds like you need to research blockchain usecases and how smart contracts work.
4. Altcoins have more upside when trading than BTC but also more risk. You should only HODL projects with real world utility.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain 3.0, Next gen crypto talk on: May 09, 2023, 11:29:33 PM
BTC is obsolete and should not host NFTs or color coins, for those kind of applications you need a newer more advanced chain like Fantom or Q Blockchain. Fantom has near zero fees and fast transactions and Q has free transactions due to gas fee redistribution.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: May 09, 2023, 06:58:02 AM
0xMR has a working mixer and private bridge and the supply is only 1.8 million tokens, all in circulation.
