1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on honest earning on: September 11, 2021, 01:17:55 PM
Good Day,

Thank you for this forum, and for al the valuable information shared on this platform.

I am from South-Africa where Crypto is still looked at by many as one big scam and people do not open themselves to broaden their views and knowledge on topics. our exchange rate to the American dollar is also not very good, thus making crypto investment very difficult for most to afford. I am a financial advisor and I believe that Crypto will be part of the future for as long as I will be alive.

I would like to prove to my work colleagues and to the circle of people in my industry that one can diversify your portfolio by including Crypto s part of your portfolio. I found that Ethereum is something that I can explain nicely to people and the technology that it is based on. I think just concentrating on one Crypto for now, would make it easier to get my point across.

I would like to find out how I can earn Ethereum if there is just no savings to purchase ETH with or mining equipment, I am not looking for hand outs, just for some assistance, even if I can just hold two or three ETH, and prove a 4 to 5 year long term holding the Crypto, and what a financial impact it can make on the lives of many people in South Africa, which is not a wealthy nation.

Is there work that one can do, to earn ETH? I am willing to work to to just start my project of proving that Crypto can make dreams come true if you do your research and trade well.

Thank you for your time.
First I would say that as long as you aren't stealing from other people and scamming, crypto is ethical so there is nothing for you to be ashamed of and you shouldn't care what other people think because investing is about making money. I suggest looking at farming instead of mining. Mining equipment can cost a lot of money and often the mining algorithms change and the equipment becomes obsolete. You should try farming with your assets on a platform like Ref Finance $REF. You can get a solid APY of over 250% if you do it right and its hard finding returns that good in crypto unless you buy something like Chainlink when it was at .20 USD.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are some of the new projects we should keep eyes on it? on: September 11, 2021, 01:14:50 PM
Today I was reading fascinating story of Bitcoin and Ethereum. That was really interesting read. And I thought, what if there are other ongoing/emerging projects? Do you know any of them? Those that are not on the mainstream media yet.
The number of users on Ref Finance is growing rapidly now that farming is live with APYs as high as 250%. $REF token is on NEAR protocol, which is also a good buy I should add. NEAR is one of the top three blockchains invested in by institutional investors like Grayscale and Coinbase Ventures. Anyway, Ref Finance is an AMM and the first one on NEAR protocol and the first AMM of any blockchain normally captures the most TVL. $REF is likely to pump, just like other AMM tokens like $Cake, $Boo, and $UNI have.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Some low to med cap technically interesting projects add your own. on: September 11, 2021, 01:12:07 PM
Not going to do a big write up or sales pitch for these.
I'll list the interesting technical parts for you to research and investigate.
These will be for mid to low caps, we know the top 50 already contain plenty of technical innovation.

Just because projects are technically brilliant or interesting it does not always mean they will get that much needed network effect or adoption. Keep that in mind. These are interesting from a technical perspective and I feel are all very useful.

1. Syscoin ( med cap)

Zdag,nevm

High tps, powerful smart contracts, main net imminent? Patents pending?

2. Blocknet (tiny cap)

The purest DeX, decentralized indexer and other freakishly impressive innovative applications.
Look to be on the verge actually producing after of years of development.
Too difficult for pure novices to initially set up perhaps right now but web UX coming.
Way more pure design than Rune imho

3. OByte (tiny cap)

The first dag design with smart contracts. What more needs to be said about innovation.

4. Bitbay (no cap lol)

You can't even buy this. No cex can fathom how to list it because their decentralized smoothing mechanism is too complex.
So they are making their own first of a kind hybrid multisig remote retrieval exchange that appears to have a working prototype to test.

Just mentioning because their dev appears to be a genius and a zero cap is just crazy.

5.  Mist ( med cap)

First flash loan based dex. Seems like a very advanced dev team.

Who here can critique novel and interesting designs?

Bring your own. Let's sift through these together.

Looking to add more projects here. Low caps please if possible with novel and useful designs.
Proven dev teams that have been time tested are especially welcome.

Frankly I'm not interested in any of those coins that you posted and Syscoin is a mid-cap not a microcap. My favorite microcaps are 0xMonero and UTNP.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Projects on: September 11, 2021, 01:10:53 PM
I think Ref Finance will be huge, and here's why. Ref Finance is the first AMM on NEAR protocol and already has a TVL of about 50 million USD. Normally the first AMM token on a blockchain pumps considerably, take $Cake and $Boo for example. Plus Ref Finance has farming with an APY as high as 150%, so the number of people using the DEX is growing rapidly.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Fee Of BNB Is Increasing on: September 11, 2021, 01:06:43 PM
All eyes are on the BNB due to the increase in Ethereum's gas fee. Thinking about the beginning, it can be understood that the BNB's gas free is increasing day by day. Although I don't know the exact reason behind it, the curiosity is there.
Gas fees are increasing on BSC because a lot of people moved there from Ethereum and now it's congested. Fortunately the NEAR trustless token bridge (rainbow bridge) is being deployed to BSC, so BSC users will be able to trade on Aurora or NEAR protocol's Ref Finance with lower fees and faster transaction times.
1126  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 11, 2021, 04:50:51 AM
We heard the following feedback and are working to improve the casino:

Minimum deposit amount will be lowered

We will provide a FAQ and TOS

We will include a demo mode for visitors

We are adding 0xMonero this month.

As previously explained- The casino is by the 0xMonero team. The casino does not currently mix Bitcoin. The casino is not under maintenance and does not restrict or region block any users. Mixing will start with 0xMonero but more tokens will be added to the casino. The token is SEC compliant and the casino is registered in a country that does not regulate online gaming, so it is up to you as the user to follow the laws where you are domiciled in regards to online gaming. As to how tokens are mixed, that was described here in detail repeatedly. The casino does not currently accept Monero.

Thank you for all of your positive feedback. Please check back for updates, follow our Twitter account at MixerCasino and give the casino a spin!
1127  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 08, 2021, 11:36:23 AM
We thought that our players would like the idea of mixing their coins, especially since the casino was created by 0xMonero. Privacy is very important to us and people should absolutely take their own privacy seriously too. I should add that generally, when making any cryptocurrency transactions or logging into any exchange or dapp, you should definitely use a VPN or Tor to protect your identity.
1128  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 06, 2021, 10:22:04 AM
We would appreciate it if you would follow the official Twitter account twitter.com/MixerCasino to keep up to date on upgrades like new games, features, new coin listings, partnerships, promotions and NFT giveaways.

The casino exists in a country that does not regulate online gaming. The casino does not accept fiat currency deposits (USD, EUR etc.). If you live in a country that regulates online gaming, then you should consider the legality of using a casino not registered in your jurisdiction.

Using zk-SNARKs mixers is not illegal but trying to launder money obtained illegally is.

We are working to create a FAQ, TOS, and demo mode as suggested. Thank you very much for that feedback. Due to the high influx of users, we have been focusing on making sure everything is running smoothly for the influx of users but we will provide updates on our Twitter account as things progress.

As to the question regarding how to use the mixer, mixing will occur automatically when a user withdraws tokens from the casino. The user only needs to provide a new public address to receive the mixed tokens.

As to the question regarding why include a mixer and how it works, only tokens will be mixed, not Bitcoin. The way account based cryptos work (Ethereum tokens) is that transactions between public addresses can be seen but individual tokens have no UTXO data to track or blacklist. The goal of the mixer is that funds withdrawn from the casino to your wallet have no link to the casino. The zk-SNARKs mixer contract breaks the link between the two accounts and the funds are transferred to your wallet. This is a free feature provided for the benefit of casino users.

We intend to market MixerCasino and 0xMonero $0xMR heavily with YouTube promotion once tokens are added to the casino, which is planned for later this month. Please reach out to us if you are interested in helping us promote the casino!!! All offers will be considered.
1129  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 05, 2021, 12:50:48 PM
It shouldn't be an issue sending from an exchange wallet but it's always best to make transactions from your own wallet.

There are no restricted countries or users.

We are looking into a demo mode.

The QR issue stated before is because the user did not tell the casino how many USD in BTC he is depositing.
1130  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 05, 2021, 06:36:18 AM
I have to disagree with the Monero comment that if Monero fails all other related projects will fail. Consider the following, if Bitcoin had a catastrophic error, people would move to Bitcoin cash. The same is true of Monero. When Monero fails its community will move to 0xMonero and forks of Monero like Monero classic etc. 0xMonero was built as a liferaft for Monero investors, it's in the whitepaper if you would like to learn more.

The QR code is disappearing when you press deposit, thank you for pointing this out.

Only Ethereum tokens will be mixed and it's automatic when you withdraw so there are no extra steps required by the user. It's the easiest way to mix tokens and it's free.

The deposit and withdrawal pages show the minimum deposit and withdrawal amount clearly.

Tokens are bridged to Aurora, an Ethereum sidechain when mixed. To get to coinbase you would need to bridge to Ethereum.

To the person that claimed we are promoting coins and games that don't exists, the mixer is created by the team behind 0xMonero and 0xMR token will be added shortly. It takes some extra development to integrate multiple chains but it will happen very soon. As to the games, we will be adding live games in the future.

We will add more coins and tokens in the future, for sure. Deposits are in crypto but the game code calculates in USD. Thanks for the feedback.

The casino is live and there are no server issues, any log in issues were due to the user's connection. Everything on the casino is working great apart from the QR code for deposits only flashing for two seconds when you press the button.

Once again, thank all of you for your responses, especially regarding the QR code issue! I really appreciate the help from the community and the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

You are warning me? Are you a moderator? I've been here since 2018 and I don't appreciate the way several of you are talking to me. We should be able to discourse here freely without being threatened by other users saying they will have our posts deleted or worse. If you talk to other people like that here they will just move to other platforms and eventually nobody will post on this board. Be kind to each other.

When I try to press quote it includes an entire page of material not relevant to the specific question asked so I simply responded directly. I will not be using the quote button any longer, I will simply reply to everyone in one single large post because otherwise, using quotes will fill the thread with text that has already been responded too. That seems like the best solution to avoid making the thread unnecessarily long and it will make things easier for the reader.

Demo mode is a great idea and we are looking into doing that.

There are no restrictions to users on the casino side. Some countries and ISPs don't allow online gambling.

We are looking into a FAQ but so far there have been no issues or questions from the actual users on the casino, everything is very straightforward.

If you wish to deposit, you press the deposit button next to your user ID.

You can only play after you have deposited funds. The games themselves include instructions.

To withdraw you press the payment button again and click withdraw and enter your withdrawal address.

As to the mixer, I'm really glad that was asked again, it gives me an opportunity to describe one the the best features of the casino. The mixer is for ERC-20 tokens that will be added to the casino, like 0xMR and possibly eNEAR. The mixer is by conceal protocol and is being finalized on the Ethereum sidechain Aurora (aurora has over 2k TPS, is partnered with etherscan so the interface is familiar, allows cross contract calls with Ethereum, and uses ETH natively instead of MATIC or FTM for other sidechains), which offers a seamless experience with Ethereum. This is how we avoid high gas fees (over .1 ETH on Tornado cash per transaction) when mixing. Users deposit tokens on Ethereum and withdrawals are mixed using zk-SNARKS. The team behind the mixer is semillalabs.dao, if you are interested. The casino will likely add all of the tokens accepted by the mixer over time. More specifically, the withdrawal function of the casino includes space where the user enters an address that should be different than the one deposited with if they want the maximum level of privacy.

1132  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 03, 2021, 05:22:52 PM

There are games with a lower minimum bet, have a look.

I've been to it, but there's no bonus for new users, or maybe at least it could be done by providing game demos to try new users that make them feel fit to play in the casino. Either way, we wanted to know and try it out first before actually making a deposit. That's if you accept the sat=ran I said, and I'm sure other users will agree with this suggestion.

The demo idea is a great suggestion. Are there any particular games you are looking for? Do you prefer slots or cards?

My response to the person stating that a particular slot game has a higher minimum bet on this casino than on another casino he uses. Since the mixercasino includes a mixer, we have to cover mixing and token bridging costs in addition to normal server and staffing costs. We require that the user play at least one game before withdrawing using the mixing feature and if the minimum bet is a penny or 20 cents for example, the casino will lose money in gas fees when users withdraw. We may adjust the minimum bet prices lower after we analyze our overall costs of running the casino/mixer. I really appreciate your interest and feedback though and I encourage more feedback. The advice from the community that a Terms of Service and FAQ be added are under consideration.

1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge gains and still holding ? on: September 03, 2021, 03:01:41 PM
The biggest mistake anyone can do is still holding unto their altcoins when bitcoin touched 60k weeks ago and still holding strong when the fall began weeks ago, imagine someone still holding HEX token when the coin did 40x already? If you are someone like this friend I don't know what your aim is but sorry to say you are doing it wrong. Check yourself cos it's possible you are struggling with greed.
That's super risky holding HEX, it's a known scam created by a notorious scammer that some believe is associated with the CIA. Watch out! Why don't you invest in something safer like Celo or NEAR. Celo is backed by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation and NEAR is backed by Coinbase and Grayscale.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOL is already $144, can still buy it? on: September 03, 2021, 03:00:02 PM

Unbelievable,

SOL was only $1 last year, now is $144

It is 144 times that of a year

Can I still buy it? Which is next one?

SOL has seen a really big pump but I think funds will move from SOL to NEAR and Celo, just like how they moved from ADA to SOL to begin with.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is $4,000, who will be the next public chain SOL? on: September 03, 2021, 02:57:04 PM

The price of ETH continues to reach new highs due to the 1559 protocol destruction method and the popularity of NFTPunk.

Other public chains Solana has risen 10000%, and AVAX's Benqi loan has also been 50000%. Who will be next?

Kinglory-Canada Team 2017 Project
Mina-Privacy Encryption 2020 Project
NEAR-Latest Layer0
NEAR and Celo will likely be the big pumps after Solana. Fantom will do well too.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Run an ERC20 token from both BSC and POLYGON on: September 03, 2021, 02:56:08 PM
I am a part of a startup crypto, our team wants to create a webbased NFT game based from Ethereum blockchain. Any recommendation how we can make it run from Binance Smart Chain and Polygon? How can we maintain its price atleast the same from all the chains? Hope to hear from you guys.

Thank you in advance.
It's tricky, 0xMR was bridged to BSC via the bridge from xDAI to BSC. It was bridged to Polygon via the ETH polygon bridge. There are a lot of different bridges, perhaps try multisender xyz or bridge to aurora with rainbow bridge.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your investing Strategy on: September 03, 2021, 02:51:07 PM
Doesn't need long complicated answers - just a simple question:

Do you invest
1. mainly on price/the market trends
2. mainly on the underlying usefulness of the token/NFT
3. pretty even split of the two.

I invest in projects that solve real world problems and have a good business usecase, like XRP and NEAR.
1139  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 03, 2021, 02:48:11 PM
There are games with a lower minimum bet, have a look.

Is it hard to understand my main points about the minimum bet on your provided games?
Lets make it simple, why do you have 25x higher minimum bet than most other casinos for the same game?
One more important thing, do not bump your own thread several times in a row.
If you want to reply all posts, merge it into a single post only. If you keep doing it, I guess you'll be banned sooner/later because it is against the forum's rule.
I don't think replying top people's posts are against the Bitcointalk rules but if a moderator wishes to condense the thread, that's fine. There are many games with a low bet amount, even as low as 50 cents, why not try a different game?

You can only access https://mixercasino.com/ after creating a login account. You mentioned about what currency you accept but no info about how you make payments. There is no such thing as FAQs.
We need some basic info about the site before we create account. Its just my suggestion to make some basic info available on the site for every visitor.
Click the payment button on the menu bar and it provides you with a qr code and address for deposits.

Can we browse the site without signing up first? Because I just want to take a look around first before signing up.
I guess that's my worry right now perhaps they could make that feature to be made for public. I guess this might be the reason you'd not be getting enough traffic on your site.

And do you think you will not encounter any trouble later on because of your mixing services? Do you have gambling license already, can't see it as I haven't registered yet.
Unless they show they are registered to FinCEN I am not doubting that they may get into trouble because of that. I wonder if they got license and they allowed to operate that way.
Nearly half of the countries in the world do not regulate online casinos. FinCEN is for US citizens and they only provide advice to other countries. Additionally, the casino only accepts virtual assets and utility tokens, not USD or EURO etc. so there is no currency being exchanged. Token mixers are legal.

You need to be responsible. If online gambling is not legal in your country, or if certain regulations apply to you, do not participate.

Do we really need to create an account before we can have a look at the site?. I am going to have a look but I can't and also I won't be able to know if there is FAQ in the site or not. FAQ is one of the most important when a gambler wanted to ask questions but his/her question is one of the questions in FAQ before asking more questions related to the casino to the customer support.
We will work on making all of the games visible before registering but registration is free and it only takes 30 seconds so give it a shot.

You need to register in order to check their site out which is honestly annoying, but there is no other alternative in this case. Also, exclusion of a FAQ section is dumb and not professional at all in my opinion.

Op mentioned that they won't add an FAQ section because everything is self-explanatory which is silly and this is why I have lost what little interest I had in this site.
What content would you like to see in a FAQ section? The games are very easy to use and often include their own instructions.
