121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Eureka Coin on: June 16, 2020, 11:45:33 AM
The first online free staking rewards were given out and it amounted to around 0.44% and these rewards will be given out around twice weekly. These rewards are bigger than the rewards given in the core stake wallet, so it would be a good idea to Park all the ERK on the EUREKAX EXCHANGE to get the extra bonuses. I am a member of MEC, so I earn from there also and now transfer every few days my coins from MEC that I get out and put them in EUREKAX for staking. I think the percentage is really good and if we earn around 4-5% a month that's like 40 - 60% s year which I think is fantastic, as some of the staking profits come form the business profits as well.
122  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: I am looking for the new bitconnet!! on: June 16, 2020, 11:41:40 AM
It's really amazing to see how lazy people are nowadays that they are just interested in joining scam after scam to make quick and easy money. I am not sure if you made this thread just to get a lot of reactions to your posting or you really believe that joining such a shitty site like Bitconnect is going to help you and your referral victims. I am fed up with all the scams using Crypto and Bitcoin as a way to lure people in. I have been scammed enough by these nasty types of online scammers and so don't want to be reminded or  join any of them, even if they provide quick gains. Go get a job and invest in proper legitimate projects.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: June 15, 2020, 09:28:13 AM
I am spreading my risk into various segments of the Cryptocurrency market. Primarily investing in the top coins that have staking, or where we can earn bonuses for hodling. Recently I upped my ADA, CRO AND ZIL bags and now looking to grow into KAVA, ERD and investigating others in the DEFI sector as well. I think while the market is going into bear mode again, all we can do is wait and keep loading the dips until one day we see brighter days. It's either this, or keep losing all our money in FIAT that is constantly being devalued.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: June 15, 2020, 09:25:27 AM
Cardano’s IOHK and Global Blockchain Business Council Join Hyperledger

Hyperledger has attracted eight new members, spanning firms working on blockchain based supply chain solutions, payments, and token standardization.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cardanos-iohk-and-global-blockchain-business-council-join-hyperledger

This is another piece of good news that is making CARDANO a really first class project. I really like it when projects come together to work, as opposed to fighting each other as we are all in this together. The Alternative is the current Financial System which is totally rigged and corrupt, or we move forward to a more fairer decentralized global economy. I know the price is retracing now, since the last pump as the market now is bleeding and the big guns are taking all their profits, but I am ready now for staking in August, so am just loading up every few days. I was loading up daily but now we have a falling knife scenario and don't know yet where the bottom is I will wait to see if we drop further before adding to my bag.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump or HODL these coins? on: June 15, 2020, 09:21:01 AM
Now we are reaching another bearish scenario with the global financial crisis and the covid - 19 debacle so it is the worst time I think to sell anything right now. Actually in the coming months when things are really going to get ugly with BTC dipping to around 6-7k, you will be able to add and DCA your bags. I would though go for staking coins at least, so when they do eventually pump you can take some profits and also have made extra money from staking, then load the Bogdanoff dip again. I am holding and growing my stash despite the erratic market as I still have some hope for the future of blockchain.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN] Elrond - Sharded layer one protocol with near instant TX speed on: June 14, 2020, 12:27:49 PM
I was looking into ELROND today to potentially invest and the project indeed looks really promising. I watched a video with one of the Founders that convinced me to start preparing to buy a bag. I am not sure if this entry point is good though as it has already 3 x from the low, but looking at the fact that there are only a couple of weeks to mainnet launch and staking, it could still be a good time to purchase a bag. The use case I like best is the simplicity of use that they are building to make it go mainstream and allow non techies to be able to use it, especially in the DEFI space where older people have more money aside to 'invest'. I joined both the telegram price/trading chat and main ELROND group, so look forward to becoming a part of the community there too.  Smiley
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: June 13, 2020, 09:31:01 AM
I think 100 x gains could take place over the next two years and on my radar and in my portfolio I have both ADA, ZIL and VET as three coins under ten cents that could over the next two to three years or the next bull run potentially hit a dollar.  I am looking into various DEFI coins as well, but some of them are more expensive, but could explode as I believe DEFI and third generation blockchains are what I think will spur the next bull run, as were ETHEREUM BASED ICOS back in 2016/2017, which kicked off the last bull run. I think though this bear cycle is a longer one and so the bull run could be a much more longer drawn out one. The financial system in the world is not healthy plus we have corona virus, which is kind of slowing things down in the short term, but what are making blockchain and DEFI even more needed and important for long term.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: June 13, 2020, 09:24:17 AM
I personally believe stablecoins have a prominent place now and mainly as a hedge against volatility and inflation. Also with DEFI becoming now huge, many people will want to buy stablecoins and park to earn 8-12% interest annually from the various DEFI platforms offering these kind of rewards. I mean why would I want to keep money in the bank earning me nothing, just to make the Banks rich, when I can just buy a stablecoin and park on Nexo, or BlockFi, Binance or wherever else, and earn a nice round daily or monthly interest for lending out my stablecoins? This will attract many old school investors into this place, boomers with money laying around gathering dust, and that's just one angle.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig wright found to have plagiarized his PhD-not really a doctor of anything on: June 13, 2020, 09:19:32 AM
I was never a fan of Craig Wright to be quite honest with you. I didn't like the way he blackmailed the whole Bitcoin community into mining his coin otherwise he would dump all his BTC. He did dump a lot at the time and caused a mini market crash, so fro that reason I will NEVER SUPPORT BITCOIN SV and even if it makes some money on a pump, out of principle I will just never buy or invest in it. There are so many other praiseworthy projects out there and I like the original BITCOIN as well, so will stick to that as a source of long term asset.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zilliqa: A scalable blockchain platform with througput of thousands of TX/s on: June 12, 2020, 03:47:26 AM
Hi all. This is Milan from Zilliqa. I'm the Marketing Manager. Will start to get more involved with the BitcoinTalk Community. Just made this account but you can verify my identity through our official Telegram channel https://t.me/zilliqachat. Looking forward to provide some updates here and answer some questions:)
Hi Milan and welcome to Bitcointalk...im sure many will have plenty to ask...
let me try ask something that we all wanna know....

Any eta on when is HG Exchange going live?

Projected launch date is end of this month. Hopefully they manage to have things go according to plan:)
Nice, not long to go.. Grin ...hopefully things go as planned...
Thanks

Yeap am preparing my little bag for staking and now trying to grow a secondary bag to get the swings and maybe collect a few more through trading. I managed to catch a few k on this dip and we will see how more down BTC will go before I can get even more at a good price. For myself right now it's all about dollar cost averaging my entry points and growing my bags to the sizes I want before the inevitable rise that may happen in a year or two down the road, for life changing gains and situations. I hope we all make it to the top.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: June 12, 2020, 03:45:11 AM
I am looking forward to hearing what Charles has to say in the Summit. He does have some surprises up his sleeve and I am always watching his surprise broadcasts on his Youtube channel. I like the fact he covers every topic, not just about CARDANO, but about the state of society at large. He even stated we are going through social atrophy right now and there is still a lot of arrogance in this space. So for Crypto to really succeed, we need to come off our high horses and be a more inviting place for people to park their investments. I loaded up a bit more today on the dip than what I usually buy daily as I am still around 25 days off my end target to reach, accumulation wise.

132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is going on in crypto 💣 on: June 12, 2020, 03:40:12 AM
I am expecting a bearish short term scenario in play due to the corona crisis and the quantitative easing on steroids situation. Also the stock market being artificially pumped by the Fed, is not helping our cause for the short term. On another note though, DEFI is becoming huge in this space and institutional investing, aka GRAYSCALE and Co are just hoarding BTC freshly mined on masse, so on a macro level, things are pretty looking bullish to me. I just plan to keep stacking sats regardless. Our time to shine will come once again.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zilliqa: A scalable blockchain platform with througput of thousands of TX/s on: June 10, 2020, 02:25:01 PM
The news we all was waiting

ZIL Staking program ->
https://blog.zilliqa.com/zilliqa-set-to-introduce-staking-on-the-mainnet-soon-promises-added-value-and-efficiency-to-its-f2f80e38eacb

KuCoin and Binance will support staking, and more to come Smiley

Excellent...cant wait to for my Zil stack to bake with stake  Cheesy Cool

Any idea when Staking on Binance will go live? And how many Zill you need to start staking?
Is it difficult to start with? Or will it all be clearly instructed on the Binance app?

Thanks for your help.
Big big big Zill believer. But can't miss that much money to invest right now as me and my wife are building our new house at the moment! Smiley
We will be able to start staking in eight days apparently. They even added the instabuy button as well. I missed out buying cheap Zil with the CRO Syndicate but stocked up around 35k so far, trying to get to 50k to stake. I wanted a 100k bag but price is moving up now so don't want to buy in too expensively. I am building up on staking coins now to build up this long term passive income. I will try to get a separate bag to keep for trading purposes and keep the 50k purely for staking and compounded growth over the coming 12-18 months. I think we will see lots of bullish developments over the next two years with Zilliqa.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: June 10, 2020, 06:32:59 AM
Well I don't earn any FIAT anymore, not earned fiat since 2015, so for me BTC IS also money as well as a store of value. I store what I don't need to live on but use as currency what I need to use to eat, pay my bills and my mortgage. So it all depends on where you are at. If you are wealthy and can afford to keep all your BTC aside to grow and become even more wealthy, then yes, it's ONLY a store of value as a hedge against FIAT and other assets. For people like me who only earn BTC and altcoins, then we need to use it also for day to day living expenses as well as store some for the future.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TEMTUM and KAVA on: June 09, 2020, 12:55:21 PM
KAVA now is really building up momentum, especially with the launch of it's mainnet and staking. I want to start investing in it soon but have been busy building other bags now, so it's on my radar, if I can get in at a good price. I might consider just buying a intro bag next week if I get spare funds. The staking rewards alone seem very lucrative and even though it has gone up in PRICE, I think we are still in early enough even at these prices to get in before DEFI goes even more mainstream.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zilliqa: A scalable blockchain platform with througput of thousands of TX/s on: June 09, 2020, 12:45:45 PM
Solid run from Zilliqaaaaaaa  Grin
Some great things coming soon...HG exchange...Staking and more  Grin

on another note....
Hopefully BFX and Tether USDT partnership with Zil continues and takes Zilliqa beyond $1  Kiss
Print more USDT if you have too lol

You are a great supporter of this coin from many days, you keep saying whenever there is a drop in Zilliqa price definitely you will grab. After understanding things happening around Zilliqa I have also convinced my mind to purchase ZIL coin and start staking when they start releasing the live version for staking.

Thanks...
Yea its fun buying cheap Zil :-)
These days wont last , oneday people will think $1 Zil is cheap  Grin

Maybe ziliqa be 1$. We was talking at zclassic forum in 2017,you was buying around 3$, did you sell zcl at 200$ or 100$?

Im sure it will....Blockchain 3.0 is where we are headed...imo all good B3.0 coins will be in top 20 and older shitcoins will just give up and fade away.
lol zclassic , that was a great call...i think i sold em at $80s....fun times

I would love Zil and a few other great blockchains to emerge into the top ten where they deserve to be. I mean LTC, BCH, BSV AND XRP should move down a notch and I think another ECOSYSTEM will be coming in to compete with ETHEREUM. This next bull season will be really interesting to watch as BLOCKCHAIN 3.0 Ecosystems come more into play. ZILLIQA has a good chance I think to at least come into the top 10-15 on CMC within the next three to six months. Just food for thought at this point, time and v=development will tell.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: June 09, 2020, 12:37:09 PM
Cardano’s Shelley Testnet to Launch Tomorrow, ADA Holders Skyrocket

Cardano will open the Shelley testnet to any operator who wants to set up a stake pool, sending social engagement metrics through the roof.

https://cryptobriefing.com/cardanos-shelley-testnet-launch-tomorrow-ada-holders-skyrocket/
This is another great milestone reached and as more and more pool operators come onboard there will be even more staking at this point. I missed the ITN rewards program but have been accumulating hardcore over the last three months and can't wait to start staking my ADA on the 18th August onward. Hopefully Shelley will be fully packaged and shipped by the end of July and more and more exchanges will list ADA as well as they come into fully fledged mainnet use. POOL OPERATORS will become millionaires because of all the extra rewards coming, but even if you just have a decent bag to stake long term, you could be in a good position. I will be accumulating as much as I can up until ten cents or 100k ADA, whichever comes first. Goguen will be really interesting, to see how the CARDANO ecosystem evolves over time.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Where and How to Spend Your Bitcoins? on: June 08, 2020, 03:37:10 AM
The Banks in my country are crap right now as the Central Bank of Cyprus won't even allow me to bring in money directly through any crypto related entity, such as Coinbase for example. I use though a Crypto debit card, and I use that for all my living expenses. Right now I have a job in a Blockchain Company so I get paid in BTC, plus whatever else I can grow by trading, bounties etc. So all my living expenses are paid for in BTC, technically I load the card in BTC, or ETH and I get FIAT the other side to do all my monthly expenses. I want to buy some land one day and buy a house in Bitcoin if possible to have a sustainable lifestyle.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: June 08, 2020, 03:34:07 AM
I am bagging right now ADA, ZIL, VET and some other coins link LINK, CRO, MCO etc on my list. I have also a small bag of tezos. I am mainly focusing on the emerging blockchains as once they have a lot of business running on their platforms, their main coin will be needed and used as gas on the network. I am also primarily buying coins for staking as well, in order to build passive income when the market is flat and quiet. I am not sure if the Markets are going to retrace hard or not, but got a bit of tether aside in case, to pick up more Bargains.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: June 07, 2020, 02:25:02 PM
I used to do bounties and airdrops back in the day full time but after the last bear market, I found that I could no longer sustain myself through them, so was lucky to find a job in a Blockchain company which pays my salary in BTC. I am lucky that my main language is English, so am able to work easily in the job providing back end support for customers. I also day trade part time and still do the odd bounty, purely because I like collecting different coins and learning about new projects. I do it more though as a hobby, than as a job as it doesn't give me the income security it gave me back in 2016/2017 That unfortunately is the reality. I only do mainly signature campaigns now and the odd airdrop. If you really want to earn more, it's true, you need to upgrade your skill set now and get something extra to do other than just airdrops and bounties. Unless of course you live with your Parents and don't pay for rent, mortgage, bills or food and also in a developing Country where cost of living is cheaper, then it's hard to live off of bounties right now, for someone like me anyway who pays for everything and lives in a Western country where life is expensive.
