~ People providing loan services are doing their business, they give others money they have and take profit from that just like how a person would run a business in any other sector using their money, they aren't doing anything wrong in my opinion, and it's our choice to be responsible or not.

They are just doing their business, I agree, and to not make villains out of them we just shouldn't borrow money from them for gambling. That's when we are not to gamble: when we have no spare money. If we think we can borrow an amount and then after winning return the loan, we are creating a situation were potentially we'll hate the loaners, while, indeed, they are doing nothing wrong.

At times the best response to losing is to leave and let your head cool down a bit then try again it could be that you kept losing cause your mind has gotten clouded by emotions that you ard losing and I can even further make you lose more if you start trying to recover those loses which is the pitfall of gambling.
No matter how much we say that one should keep a cool head after losing in gambling, it is never possible to keep a cool head because if someone loses in a gambling game, his head will be under a lot of stress immediately after losing, due to which he will not be able to cool his head even if he wants to.

If you make small bets aiming for high multiplier, your head won't be under a lot of stress after losing. I mean, it's obvious, innit? If you lose $0.20, you keep hitting the spin button after that, feeling no stress at all. Make smaller bets, guys, that's what I'm always saying to my fellow gamblers. It's much more interesting(and safer) to make bets like 20 cents aiming for 1,000x+ multiplier than making a bet of $200 aiming for 1.1x. It's such a tragedy when you lose your $200 bet in that case, and it's really nothing when you lose several bets of 20 cents.

~ I'm still not sure whether the casinos in Amsterdam are of that high level. What do you think?

Well compared to Macao there is not really a comparison. Vegas is like 20 years ago for me and I know a lot has changed.

You mean, casinos in Amsterdam are much worse compared to Macao? You mean they are like Vegas 20 years ago? I'm sorry. I don't understand what you trying to say. By pictures I can say they are a bit old-looking. You think the same? Have you been there?

Macao on the other hand was last year and I was really impressed.
Also it's a nice city, not only casinos and stuff like vegas. A lot of history, culture, traditional food, and more.

As far as I can tell, you've been to Macao, that's for sure. Can you tell me, do they have slot machines that impressed you? Do they have great animation and sound like modern online slots? What is better in them compared to online slots in your opinion?

I guess preventing the children not to use the internet could result the other way, they will only be left ignorant with what is happening all over the world,

Exactly! Instead of forbidding everything we should educate our kids how to use things properly. And internet is definitely one of those things that can't be ignored nowadays.

and I don’t want for my child either to experience like that. All they need is our guidance and assistance so they won’t end up clicking those suspicious links that will scam them or hack their accounts.
~

First off, don't let your child browse the internet using your computer. Buy for him/her their own device. If you are not that well-off, buy a second-hand one, but, I'm telling you from my personal experience, it is better for the child to have their own device where they can experiment with whatever they want.

Then I checked my position in the Leaderboard, and it appeared that I was taking the 14th place

among the 30 paid places, which was pretty nice to see. Smiley

Enjoy it while you are still on that position because it will not last longer since it is multiplier collector contest.
You have to play more and collect more wins if you want to stay in the top 30 paid places at the end of the contest.
~

Yes, you are right. As hard as I tried, although I had a pretty good win again, I won $14.40

I didn't manage to remain in the top 30. Today with all my 103.44 points I'm taking 34th position only:

And it's more than 3 days left until the end, and the guy on the 30th position has more than 2 times more points than me:

I will try a couple more times, I think, but I realize that my chances are slim.

But overall I regard my participation as enjoyable and I'm going to take part in future tournaments by FortuneJack.

~ Yes, deposit only the amount that we can afford to lose is the recommendation for every gambler so they will not break their rules to control their gambling activity. If you can always stick to your rule by always limiting the money in gambling, you will not experiences the lose that can be bigger. You will have a chance to enjoy the games while you don't thinks much of the wins as the wins is not your target when you playing gambling but you only wants to have fun.

It's one of the best decisions that can be made in gambling: Deposit on a gambling site only what you can afford to lose. Then you can relax and forget about controlling your actions, you can bet it all at once or you can enjoy your gambling for a longer period of time, but what's important is that in any case you will never lose an amount which can make you sad for a long time. Don't make a tragedy out of your entertainment, guys.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: May 08, 2024, 09:02:09 AM
~One of the things most people do not realize is that gambling can be potentially everywhere, so you do not have to stick to the classic games that everyone knows, on our school the most common bets could have been classified as sport bets, as we often competed to see who was the fastest or who could score the most points in a game, like most kids would, and once it ended you realized that your peers have been trying to predict the outcome of the competition and put money forward to support their point view, at the time I am sure that most of us did not thought about this as gambling, but now that I think about it, it is clear that it was.

Speaking about school days, I remember playing this game with coins: each of us classmates should hold some coins in the closed fist and the one who had more money in his fist took all the money from others, was shaking them in his closed palms and was throwing the coins on the windowsill. Then all the coins that were "heads" were his immediately and for other coins he should fight tossing them one by one onto the windowsill if they were turning "heads" he took them too. In the case of failing the turn would go to another player. The crazy bit was that it was forbidden to play such games in school and yet we were playing them almost every day.

it's happen again to me, my freebet parlay Lose again by 1 match and i hope to win the next parlay.

Yeah, I'm sorry to see that, mate, but it happens. When you lose a multi-leg bet only because of 1 match, it's painful.

Just recently I had a similar misfortune:

What made me make such predictions as the last two? The huge odds have blinded me and I made them, contrary to common sense. But then again, the results of some matches do seem like crazy sometimes, so, the chance is always there. Smiley Good luck next time!
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accumulating Bitcoin or trading Bitcoin which is more wise to do. on: May 08, 2024, 07:25:06 AM
Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency in the world right now and a lot of people has developed interest in it.

A lot of people are also confused on whether to accumulate and hold as many as possible or to start trading it.
Bitcoin will grow more bigger and stronger as the day goes by, people who had opportunity to invest in it 10 years ago and never did are regretting it till date, accumulating as many Bitcoin as possible will be the must wise thing someone will do than trading it.

Am not saying those that trade Bitcoin are not making it big but accumulating Bitcoin is a lifetime investment and it will be more profitable.
So don't be confused anymore accurate as many Bitcoin as possible and hold on to it.

Trading is not a kids' game. Well, it could be if your trading volume was below $5 per day, but that's rarely the case. So, it's a risky business and extremely complicated one. Those who think it's easy they just lose their money fast. If you are not a professional trader, you shouldn't even ask yourself that question. Accumulate and hold is your best option. Besides, look at the past 12 years and answer the question, who have done better, those who've been trading or those who've been holding all this time?

I was wrong (can I be wrong?Cheesy). I really though that UFC 300 was their last event for free bets. Big event, great number. Though that "better luck next week" was just their template text for such screen. Then I dont understand how their promotion work. Last event from their list is "UFC Fight Night: Nicolau vs. Perez". It was almost week ago. In two days there is going to be UFC 301 in Brazil, and it will be nice if they open predictions now, so that we have more time to think and dont make it random blind picking. But...

You can be wrong, absolutely, that's your legal right, mate. Smiley And I can be wrong as well. I think I'm getting something wrong about this promo by Duelbits. Every time I go to the site and see this

I want to participate so badly, and each time I hope I will be able either. But in fact I'm not able to participate. All picks have been closed for me after I tried my luck one time. Maybe it's just a one-off event and no more tries should be available to those who participated once already?

When a user wins a huge amount the real nightmare starts, the users have to complete the worst KYC process he will see in his life, so, should users be afraid of getting a Max Win?
~

This made me laugh. Smiley I've never heard of someone who's afraid of getting a Max Win.

Getting a max win is the hardest bit, mate, and the KYC process, however tedious it might be, is incomparably easier. Actually I know what you are talking about, I've undergone several unbelievably complicated KYC processes on various sites, but I finally succeeded in each of them. And it wasn't because I won some big amount, let alone anything comparable to a max win, in some cases it were just $50 worth of altcoins. In short, I am not afraid of getting a max win. I'm asking the universe: "Let me get it, I can handle any KYC process, just give that max win!" Smiley

~After all, why do people like that never know and realize that gambling is not only about winning and losing but also about pleasure that cannot be measured in money or anything, in fact it is much more important than taking it too seriously.
~

I agree with this. Sometimes I feel better from playing slots for 20 minutes than from watching a TV show or a video on YouTube for the same amount of time. I'm not comparing it with educational programs, but if we are doing something solely for our entertainment, gambling can be a way to go. I mean, TV shows and videos on YouTube are free, but there are many things that are not free and we pay for them to be entertained. In this regard gambling is a legit competitor to those things. And then the problem of unnecessary blaming on gambling will be solved.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: May 07, 2024, 09:38:39 AM
~
Everyone dreams of winning more. there more greedy people are in gambling, the more dangerous they are. Greed and emotion push people into risky investments, including gambling. If someone bet $0.2 and win 10x he will get $2 but our emotions won't accept it our greed will push us to bet $20 as if we win $200 but we never think that these are losses.  If we do we lose $20 instantly. this is our main problem. So our main focus should be controlling our emotions and greed

The thing is that it's never just one bet. On slots it's minimum 15-20 spins, so, it's a $300-$400 loss just in the matter of couple minutes. Not many people can afford that. For those who want to just relax through their gambling activity I propose to focus on enjoying big multipliers on their bets instead of big wins money-wise. Don't make that mistake, guys, again and again, don't aim for making huge amounts of money and by no means try to achieve through increasing your bet size.

Do you really think there's a "drain out mode" on slots or you just said it in the "so to speak" mode? Smiley
Yes, I believe is always have a cold section or drain section during your gameplay.

You mean, you think some program is monitoring your gameplay and switching from one mode to another depending on your performance? I understand that it can seem that way, but I think you are wrong. There is no evidence of such actions either from the side of slot providers or gambling sites.

Most providers with (Gaming) providers in the back like (Relax, Push, and others) have really high2 volatility. Once you on the cold/drain section, mostly your balance are gonna down faster due around more than 90%-95% you don't have at least 50% back of your money from the spin you are made. ~

Maybe some gamblers can look at it like at a nice theory(and I know many of them think that way), but it looks like a fairy-tale to me. I personally believe that in slot games everything completely depends on luck.

140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please, I urge you to buy bitcoin! on: May 07, 2024, 07:58:09 AM
I really love all the discussion. I feel like this kind of discussion can open up doors to talking about how crazy it is we can easily just buy this stuff!

I fear there will be a day when buying Bitcoin...even 1 Satoshi...will involve hurdles.

I'm not saying it won't be accessible everywhere, and to everyone, but I'm just worried for what it will look like when 8 billion people finally understand the concept of Bitcoin, and the community on this forum.

Is it even possible? I mean, can 8 billion people understand anything? Or agree on anything? I'm not sure about this. But if, by some miracle, that happens, the price of 1 BTC can be indeed over $1 million, as some optimists predicted years ago. Those who seemed crazy even by some members of this community will turn out to be right. To be honest, I personally can't wait for that to happen.
