In any case I've seen this issue mainly in countries that are plagued with a disease called capitalism. The "capitalist" would for example buy the farm and farmer and their products in long term contracts. There are cases where the farmers have to work their assess off for 10 years and hand over their products to the "salve master" at the same fixed price for 10 years regardless of inflation. That crushes the farmer.
The government can not get involved in it either because if they did the whole system falls apart. But this threatens food security.

In other places without capitalism (or little of it) things are different. The government can get involved and help guarantee food security, not to mention that farmers are mostly also owners of their own land and products.
For example in Iran farmers receive a lot of help at times like this, for example they could receive fertilizers at very cheap prices so that their final product doesn't need to go up in price. Sometimes they have a guarantee of purchase at a high price (even higher than market price). This is why food prices (like bread) haven't technically gone up except in some cases (like rice) they only had a small rise.

Iran used to be weak in 70s but no more. Today Iran is among the superpowers. Take mid 80s for example. A coalition of about 80 countries helped invade Iran but they couldn't take an inch of it, the invasion was repelled and the invaders were defeated.
Or for example on 8 January 2020, in retaliation to a terrorist attack conducted by US that killed the Iranian anti-terrorism general, Iran directly attacked 2 of the biggest US military bases destroying all US assets killing more than 140 troops and wounding 1800 more. Despite all the chest-pounding the only respond was US CENTCOM commander saying "Iran has reached overmatch and we are incapable of doing anything against them". He also calls this the largest  ballistic missile attack against United States in history.

It's is both funny and sad to see how Ukraine was abused by them with the promise of help while in truth they didn't do anything. Even the sanctions against Russia was a joke and they were promising actual military involvement if Russia invaded!!!

Some argue that Ukraine wasn't part of NATO but those people should check out what Lithuania was told. They basically told them that if Russia invaded their country they won't help them at all. In best case scenario they would send some aid after 180 days. By that time nothing would be left of Lithuania!!!
Even funnier than that is Finland and Sweden wanting to join this useless treaty.

Russia is neither gaining nor losing. Their export volume has got reduced due to the sanctions. But at the same time their revenues are up, thanks to the higher prices for crude oil, gas, potash, wheat and coal. The real gainers here are countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iraq who are witnessing an increase in their export of fossil fuels. Their volumes are up, and so are the prices.
