India at the moment should be really confident. They just whitewashed Sri Lanka and the confidence of the Indian team should be Sky high. The morale of the players seems to be good at the moment.

I think they should make a tour outside the subcontinent. By doing so they will be able to identify the problems in the team and also will be able to detect which players are better for the subcontinent and which players are performing better outside the subcontinent. And I also like the competition that is going on to get a place in the Indian squad. This means that the pipeline of the team is really strong.

Most of you people know that I am from Pakistan and support my country's decision on most of the things related to cricket but I also fail to understand this decision of the PCB to make the result-less wickets. If we make good wickets and loss to Australians, that is acceptable because they are a good team but making dead pitches on the most awaited tour after 14 years is no good thing.

The match wasn't competitive as Australian women won it by a big margin. 141 runs to be exact. Aussie Women's team hasn't lost a single match yet and looks like the strong team of the tournament. South Africa is another team that hasn't lost a match either but they have played 2 matches only as compared to the Australians who have played three matches.
The tournament is in its early stages and one of the favorite England teams has started off badly and won no matches till now.

The pitch indeed supports bowlers as seen with the Srilankan batting. They have lost 6 wickets for just 86 runs, they are trailing by 166 runs and I think they might now reach 170. This game has now completely turned in favor of the Indian side and I do remember @JSRAW stating that this match would be over on the 3rd day I guess he was corrrect.

I won't argue that you don't have a point, but let's assume the FIFA made a mistake for NOT excluding USA for the Iraq invasion. Does your logic lead you to the conclusion that they should either correct that mistake for the future and exclude invaders, or are you deriving the conclusion that since the FIFA made a mistake with USA and Iraq, they should keep doing the same mistake throughout the future forever with any other country that invades acknowledged foreign territory? I think the FIFA should rather correct their mistake and exclude any nation for actions as we see them now from Russia.

PS: I'd like to know whether you think that Russia vs. Ukraine is 1:1 comparable to USA vs. Iraq. At least Russia didn't have a 9/11.

Don't want to take sides here. From what I can see from the previous posts, the general impression here is that Shakib is at least partly to be blamed for his own issues. The ego war between him and the BCB is not doing any favors to the Bangladesh cricket. In the end, it is cricket that suffers. Bangladesh has remained below par, at least in test format ever since they were awarded the full membership. These sort of issues are not helping. Perhaps now it is time for the ICC to step in and clean up the administration in Bangladesh.

There is a reason on why alternate coins are called "altcoins" because they simply derive their existence on the foundation that BTC built.

Lots of altcoins are present in the market- whether memecoins or usable coins. The latter are the types where they simply took the technology of BTC but they introduced improvements therein. The former are the ones that derive their value based on influence and hype- where its value is totally dependent on supply and demand (ie dogecoin influenced by Elon Musk).
 
One of the many reasons on why the price of BTC influence these altcoins is because they derive their value somehow on how BTC is performing in the market. That is also the reason on why BTC has the highest price of all altcoins present in the market.

It is just near to 200 and I think soon it will touch this level.

The fact that Shakib was not picked up by any of the IPL franchises has to do something with the scandal in which he was involved earlier. He was banned for one year, for failing to report the approach from a bookie, during one of the IPL matches. That said, it is an open secret that the Bangladeshi cricket board has a stormy relationship with Shakib. Both the sides were involved in open conflicts more than once, and Shakib never received the support from his cricket board when he faced difficulties in his career.

That is the case with all the South Asian countries. These guys don't take women's cricket seriously. Even the BCCI, which is the richest cricket board in the world treats women's cricket in a very casual manner. In India, there is a domestic setup similar to the men's domestic tournaments, but the quality is much lower when compared to SENA nations such as Australia and England. And this is one of the aspects where the inclusion of cricket in Olympics may help. If cricket is made an Olympic sport, then women's cricket may get more attention and funds.

I have said this numerous times. West Indies should not be playing test cricket. They are good in T20, and to an extent in ODI cricket. But the players look clueless when it comes to test cricket. Gone are the days when they had legendary players like Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Courtney Walsh and Curtly Ambrose, who were tailor-made for test cricket. Now all they have is a bunch of T20 specialists, who are not suitable for test cricket. England on the other hand have separate squads for different formats, so they are able to fare better.

England has won the toss and elected to bat first. But they are struggling now. England has already lost their first 4 wickets before the lunch break. They need a long partnership now to get back in the match. The fast bowler of West Indies has done a great job. Still I'm not going to keep the Windies team ahead. This is just the start of the game.

I agree with you here that after Australia, England, India is very strong team even they lost few matches against host New Zealand before this Mega Event but still they are capable of beating them in this competition and having spot in semi-final because they have few very good players with very good experience and quality.

Actually, I think that the Indian women's team is really good and they have a really good potential of achieving great things.
But the BCCI seems not to care about the women's team of India and that is causing the team to fall behind The other big teams like England and Australia. And if I am not wrong I think both the teams have their own women's cricket league which India does not and that's a big problem.

I wasn't actually that surprised by the result but I was surprised to see the skill difference between both the teams because obviously you can have a bad day and lose a match but the skill difference between both teams is really visible. I know that when I think about the facilities and every other aspect it makes sense but still it was not acceptable, to be honest. I think they could have done better.

Day 4. Stamps in Rawalpindi. 449/7, Aus trail by 27 runs.

Pakistan got five wickets in the day but with good RR Australia managed to put a decent total, they need another 27 runs left away. 11 wickets falling over 4 days is not a good advertisement of modern day test cricket. Hopefully, the upcoming matches in Karachi and Lahore pitches will be more result oriented. To be honest, It's really discouraging to see such level wickets for test cricket. Let' see whether Australia can bowled out Pakistan tomorrow which will bring the fight for sure.
