941  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: September 27, 2018, 04:14:12 AM
The current ICO market is really not potential. At the bottom of the market, everything is bad. But I believe there are still some great projects waiting for us. But now the investment in ICO has not made much profit as before, we should switch to other areas of monetization.
I disagree.
Current ICO markets are really much potential and they can really bear you huge profits in much less time. Just the issue is that there are a lot of projects who tends to be scam and that gets us a loss.
If you concentrate onto only Initial Coin Offering phases amd choose some potential project, than indeed you can make a great profit ahead.
Even choosing a correct bounty can lead you yo earn thousands of dollars so just imagine how much profit can you gain if you are investing your funds into it.
942  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 27, 2018, 04:08:08 AM
We don't actually know who was the one who invented Bitcoins.
We just assume that a group of programmers or a individual person named "Satoshi Nakomoto" programmed the scrypts and invented bitcoins to carry out anonymous transactions.
Perhaps bitcoins were introduced as a anonymous currency and was mostly used in illegal works so thats why the owner of bitcoins or the one who invented bitcoins is not revealing his identity.
I would personally love to see the one who invented bitcoins.
943  Other / Meta / Re: My account was accessed recently from a unknown device. on: September 25, 2018, 05:07:50 PM

Even i too think the same. Database was been leaked in 2015 and i never change my passwords as i have a single password everywhere. I always stay cautious in terms of phising so i was not attacked by any kind of phising.

Let's assume that my data was been leaked in 2015. It is good that before changing the email, i got a mail and changed my password and made it more secure.

<Snip>
Yes thats because i changed my password. And this time i have made my password more secure and unbreakable. Hope this keeps the hackers away from me.
944  Other / Meta / Re: My account was accessed recently from a unknown device. on: September 25, 2018, 01:39:39 PM
<snip>
Not actually.
But a good security question and staked Messege can really keep our account safe.

<snip>
This was not an phising attack. I always keep myself much away and safe from phishing. Also i am aware about each phising attack so i would hardly be its hunt. The hacker stole my password from some other database i guess because i used same password for various sites and it made him easily guess my password. But before he could change my email, i managed to change it and it really saved my account.

<snip>
That was not a phising attack. We should always stay cautious before using the same passwords for any other sites.
945  Other / Meta / My account was accessed recently from a unknown device. on: September 25, 2018, 08:32:21 AM
Recently i got a mail from bitcointalk saying my password was changed.
I was surfing facebook and it came on the same time so I managed to change the password again as soon as possible before the hacker changes my email.
I want to know that how come someone knows my password?
Thankgod i recovered my account quickly.
Also is there any way to keep account much safe and away from such scammers?

Edit: I can see that the hacker who got into my account also made a post in the auction section about selling merit. (link:- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5037339.msg46140617#msg46140617)
Thats against the rules of the forum and i hope the mods can delete this before the topic creates a mess in the community as I can't delete it.  Angry

950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is profitable coin? on: September 20, 2018, 03:28:05 PM
Expert traders, can you say Which is profitable coin? I like easy and short time trade. Now which coin is better and which exchanger also better for short time trade? I like small profit and it is short time. Say your option please.
There are quite low number of coins which would give you fixed profits in short time. Try to increase your time frame and you would surely find profits in trading. Also investing into newly launched project sometimes turns much profitable because the prices hike a lot as soon as they hit the exchanges or launch their platform. I prefer investing into such potential projects rathar than trading with the cryptocurrencies.

Trading too is a good option but i have faced some looses in trading so rarely trust trading. For me, newly launched ICO projects give good profits. Thats not a usual case with everyone because there are a lot of scam projects too which will simply run away with your money. Always prefer doing some research before investing and invest on your own will.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology improves we work more. on: September 20, 2018, 03:23:24 PM
The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?
Yes I agree there is something wrong happening in our society. Capitalism is the cause o it as humans were taken just as an object rather than a human. We have works for a lot of time but the money you can get is very small. We all become deprive with the ability to buy our own house making a lot of people ending up to experience poverty.
Also the inflation rate of several countries affect this factor much seriously. The money we are earning gets lessened by 10% in the upcoming year due to the inflation rate. In such situation the money a normal individual earns gets lesser and lesser as per the time passes and the proces for each commodity reaches moon. In a country with higher inflation rate, it is quite difficult to earn a stable income and save some money for the future. Increasing nber of taxes, population rate, etc affects the inflation rate.

In such situation cryptocurrencies are the best option because inflation rate does not effect the cryptocurrencies due to being decentralised. It is much good to earn a stable earning and as compared to a normal job, cryptocurrencies pay much greater and higher. There are a lot of opportunities in cryptocurrencies to earn a passive and good income.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will always be against cryptocurrencies? on: September 20, 2018, 03:18:29 PM
No, I do not believe that. We must admit that what has allowed banks to acquire so much economic power is their ability to understand where capital is, and make the necessary efforts to keep it.

Knowing that banks will never fight against capital, what I see today is a growing interest of banks to incorporate blockchain technologies into their processes, and because of their marked interest in taking over everyone's money, it would not be strange that in the near future we will see banks willing to accept cryptocurrencies to carry out financial transactions.
That won't be a situation that easily. Banks really need to redevelop a lot in order to start accepting cryptocurrencies. They need to change their circulation and that won't go that easy. Also banks(mentioning FIAT currencies here) will hardly turn over to decentralised currency. Centralised currency has always standed in opposition to decentralised currencies.

Also as soon as banks start accepting cryptos they would finally go through the stage of legalisation. Also the circulation and volume too will reach moon as this goes through. Lets hope for the best and think positively. The goverenment may perhaps take some serious step to take cryptocurrencies into circulation. I am personally waiting for such news. Grin
953  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: September 20, 2018, 06:43:12 AM
is it all that is going on with regulations?

Big whales just waiting?

People do not believe in crypto anymore?

is it trouble in some countries in ASIA with laws and regulations?

These are all probable cause and in addition, this was due to bearish market is still in effect in which it makes the real demand of Crypto to reduce because the people are now afraid to join this investment. Hopefully the.bullish market will take over soon so that the confidence of the people will going back.
Maybe the reasons is after the falling of price people stop believing in bitcoin. Our main investor quit the platforms which make bitcoins market down. There should be another reason also.
There are a lot of such reasons. I think that a big amount of peoples have sold their bitcoins at a dip and are now waiting for bitcoins to reach some good price again to purchase invest into bitcoins and to cover their looses. Most of the peoples have sold their coins i the bearish markets. Luckily i still have my funds with me and will HODL them for some more profits ahead.

Also some new peoples who really don't have much faith in bitcoins are now not ready to get back into them after seeing the bearish markets. We are aware about such pumps and dumps so that is not that big issue for most of us. Bitocins will surely again start back pumping and all we need to do is to keep giving them some support and to stay with them in their bad times (you know what i meant to say here) Grin
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zaif hacked for $60 million on: September 20, 2018, 06:34:54 AM
Exchange wallets are still big targets for thieves. These thefts make bank heists look small.

Quote
Yet another Japan-based cryptocurrency exchange has been hacked, losing a 6.7 billion yen (about $60 million worth of cryptocurrency), including 5,966 bitcoins.

The licensed exchange, called Zaif, is operated by the Tech Bureau. It said on Thursday that the exchange first noticed an unusual outflow of funds on the platform around 17:00 Japan time on September 14, after which the company suspended asset deposit and withdrawal services.

Tech Bureau explained that after further investigation, it discovered that hackers with unauthorized access to the exchange's hot wallets had stolen roughly $60 million in bitcoin, bitcoin cash, and MonaCoin. That being said, the exact amount of bitcoin cash stolen remains unknown.

The exchange added that since its own asset reserve is currently around 2.2 billion yen (or $20 million), it has reached an agreement with a Japan-listed firm called Fisco to receive a $44.5 million investment in exchange for a major share of ownership

That's really a another big hack in the history of the cryptos. Hackers are really growing much more faster and also they are getting really huge funds by hacking such exchanges.

I think a major precaution on it should be taken by most of the exchanges so that the funds for their users are kept safe. None of the user may want his funds to be hacked. This makes peoples like us have less faith in the exchanges.
955  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if another cryptocurrency took Bitcoins place in Market Cap? on: September 18, 2018, 04:31:27 AM
So what do you think would happen if another Cryptocurrency (Example Monero / Ethereum etc) were to take Bitcoins spot as first in market cap?
For it, you should compare the volume, demand and price for everything. You will get your answers yourself. Yes it can be the case after a lot of years because even bitcoins took a lot of years to reach at this point. As we compared other coins which you mentioned like monero, etc we can see that even those coins are much potential and can really have huge profits ahead so investing into those coins to are much profitable and is ind emand but the price for those coins is comparitively low than bitcoins. Perhaps those coins need a lot of years to go through and get on top of the market cap. Bitcoins are considered as the mother coin of all other major coins and also it is the oldest crypto-currency ever.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will be Bitcoin centralized ? on: September 18, 2018, 04:27:32 AM
as per governments view, they never accept decentralized bitcoin. the major reason is they unable to track the sender and receiver. smuggling and black money can send anywhere without third party knowledge.

so do you all think bitcoin can be centralized ? can be do ?
No. Bitcoins can never be centralised ever. Being centralised means that government can have the full control over it and also they could easily track and control the circulations. Bitcoins are not actually meant for anyone to track down or to control the circulation. Bitcoins work on their won for their own so they will always remain decentralised and will never get into the centralised world for any reason. the community should accept bitcoins s they are and should get them to use as they are. Bitcoins are much profitable in the decentralised form and we never know what will happen to them when they get turned into centralised. Perhaps the government can turn bitcoins into the form of other fiat currencies which would truely not be expected by all the major bitcoiners. So always let bitcoins stay as they want always.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: September 18, 2018, 04:22:59 AM
You can still win, you just did the wrong move of just betting according to your choice.

I know its hard to say that you can still win after all of those losses that you've come with. But that's how gambling works, you can expect the unexpected and not all the time the game is with you. Should I say, gambling isn't for everyone.
There is no doubt he still cannot win, but at the same time, he should also understand that this is gambling and what is being done here is to make a prediction to something that has not happened yet and for heaven sake, it is a prediction and you are just trying to play by luck, which sometimes, you really may not. You may even analyze conditions, see which team it would be favorable for, and then shit happened. It is the nature of gambling and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The only thing is just to not expect so much from it and gamble what you can afford to lose.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: September 17, 2018, 04:22:57 PM
If we're talking about real casino i agree with you - near casinos you can often see criminal groups of bandits and robbers, it's not safe. But if we're talking about online casinos - that's a great way to enjoy the game you love in a safest way.
I have been to Casinos before and all these things some of you are saying is untrue. Sure, certain people tend to drift towards a hide out when it comes to crime and they may want to use a casino as a cover up for their criminal activities and as a result of that could make the surrounding become more of an immoral ground based on the caliber of people going there. Now, if you go to a local casino where there is possibly no regulation or thereabout, things like this can always happen, but for some casinos, you would not even know there is a casino unless you are told, as there is usually serenity due to the caliber of people there, things are curtailed and since they would not want to jeopardize their business, all these things mentioned will not even be the case.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: September 17, 2018, 04:20:16 PM
A very good casino will make all of its customers not criminals and disturb comfort, it is not right if someone who mentions that a casino is a criminal place, maybe a fool who can provoke riots or spread negative viruses between players, defeat can provoke them to do anything to get money.  Cheesy
Like Hydrogen said, it totally depends on the condition of the zone itself when it comes to regulation and I totally see a lot of reasoning with his statement. Normally, in a regulated environment, the Casino will always want to stay clear of any criminal activities around and try as much as possible to want to curtail it even if it wants to suffice. It is understandable that a lot of people these days tend to associate gambling with high level of irresponsibility and then assume that anyone who is gambling is into drugs, or prostitution or this is always the case in most casinos. Illegal casinos will sometimes always have this issue.
960  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Dedication needed to support crypto community? on: September 17, 2018, 04:16:28 PM
to dedicate to always focus on the world of cryptocurrency it seems that it doesn't really matter because you can trade cryptocurrency in a short time and don't have to always look at the place of exchange.

Dedicated people actually we needed here to grow and learn in any community. This bitcointalk is one of good place which we have for learn and other purposes.
When we find the negative news also we should not give and should support the bitcoin and altcoins.
If you see any hacking news just spit and ignore it. Go positive everywhere with grest spirit.
Dedicated people are the ones who mostly invested earlier, few are joining by the day, but most are just jumping in to want to make fast money. That is why it is hard to see any dedicated one today and then the whales certainly know how to take advantage of that. If we end up having real life usage and people see the need for it without having to think of the asset benefit which should even be a side benefit in the first place, then things will get better.
