Crypto and regulations are two different things. Bitcoin was designed to be anonymous and sensorship free. While regulations bring bitcoin under sensorship. I don't think we can call a regulated cryptocurrency as cryptocurrency its just a digital currency. Cryptocurrency at its core is decentralized not centralised.

I think this is a weird decision made by such country as it's assumed to be part of ways human rights are being deprived of, pls I will like to have interest in knowing that particular country that made such implementation, and if this is truly indeed truth then i think its incalled for, giving a jail term is totally an abuse to human rights to freedom.
Another good and available option is to engage the use of p2p in situations whereby your government go against the payment transactions in bitcoin or cryptocurrency from their respective commercial banks, this has been the most acceptable means to boycott the sanctions raised by the government as against crypto.

I also live in a country where crypto is completely banned. You get jail if you were found dealing in bitcoin or doing bitcoin mining. What I do is I transfer my bitcoin to friend living in UK and he pays me via PayPal. I am lucky that I have such an honest friend whom I never meet in real world but online. You can also try that if crypto is ban in your country.

I think Sri Lanka is trying to raise some money with the help of some organizations and asking for help through this cricket league but I don't know how practical this is going to be. People are not going to think about cricket when they simply don't have any food to eat. The country is already in a very bad economical situation and if this fails it is going to be a lot worse. And under this situation, I don't know even if they will be able to afford to have big names in the league because they will have to pay them a good amount of money.
Do we need a dozen different franchise leagues? Even countries such as UAE and Canada have tried to set up franchise leagues. It is going to be difficult, because there is only a limited pool of players available. Let's analyze various leagues that exists as of now: 1. IPL (India) 2. BBL (Australia) 3. 100 (England) At the most, I believe that there exists market for 5-6 leagues. Apart from these, most of the other leagues are going to end up as loss making ventures. For Muhammad Hasnain, his future will depend on how he is able to perform at the domestic circuit. Adjusting to the new bowling action is going to take a long time and therefore it is very important for him not to get disheartened. And at the same time, he needs plenty of support from the PCB, as well as from the senior players such as Shaheen.
Hasnain is just 22 years old and has played few T20I and ODIs from Pakistan. He has lot of cricket left. First he should try to get settled with his new action and that's possible only if he plays too much domestic cricket. PCB is not good in proving support to players that are not in playing 11. |

Did anyone followed the match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe? They won the first T20I with relative ease. The tour consists of 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs, and so far Afghanistan has won all the matches. They could have included one test match as well. I don't even remember the last time I saw these two teams playing test format. Anyway, winning 4 matches on the trot is quite encouraging for a team like Afghanistan, and that too away from home. They are performing quite well, despite all the trouble with Taliban.
There are both good and worry aspect of this series. Good thing is Afghanistan is playing good cricket and they will very soon become ICC permanent member. Bug worrying sign is that we have lost a good test playing side, performance of Zimbabwe is continuously going down. |

Fifa just shattered Chile dreams of playing worldcup 2022. I think it's not a wise move by Chile football to approach fifa for banning Ecuador. They must compete on football pitch not in court rooms for playing the football World Cup. Clearly this is something beyond sportsmanship.
If Chile want to play in the world cup, then they could have performed better in the CONMEBOL qualifiers. They finished at the 7th place, behind Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. Chile managed to win just 5 out of their total 18 qualifier matches. I wish them better luck for next year, but the baseless allegations related to Byron Castillo were not necessary and it adds further controversy to an already controversial world cup. Already there is a lot of debate going on regarding the deaths of thousands of workers during construction of stadiums in Qatar. No one in the world has courage to speak against Labour abuse in gulf countries. I am sure this world cup will be played and people from all around the world will enjoy this and no one will blink an eye for labour that died during construction of these stadiums.
