701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 15, 2021, 08:58:56 AM

The West Indies lost by just 9 runs. Although they seem to have played well. But I would say their performance was bad enough. The 172-run target is not a big target on such a batting pitch. If the West Indies' top order players had performed with some responsibility, the West Indies would have been able to win this match.

I would say its a much better performance shown by WI in second T20 as compared to there performance in first T20. Brandon King played his best ever T20 innings by scoring 67 runs. Apart from him nobody in top 5 contributed anything other then Nicholas Pooran who scored 26 runs. WI should continue this form in 3rd T20 to avoid whitewash.

  • I will not give anybody my work to correct me
  • I will download grammarly application

Grammarly is without a doubt one of the most popular spelling and grammar checking tool on the Internet. However, you can also try out ProWritingAid (Free Version) if you're looking for an almost as good but also less expensive alternative. It's not as sophisticated as Grammarly, but if you need a quick and inexpensive way to catch spelling and grammar errors, you can't go wrong with this tool.

Grammarly free version is of very limited use, you have to buy its premium version to get full benefit. As far as OP question is concerned, i think he must try himself posting contents that why his English will improve and his confidence will be developed. Getting help from other wont improve your english.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my Bitcoin when I die? on: December 13, 2021, 12:02:38 PM
If I die (let's be honest, that will probably happen), would my wife or family get my coins? What if they don't know my passwords/private key?
they can if you will make ways or idea how they can open it once you're gone.. If you have large amount of BTC as of now then as soon as possible make backups and find a safe place where you can hide your private keys.. And then a notes incase what will happen to you. Of course its up to you which place you want to hide it because you're the one who know them well.

That may be one good option. IMO in everyone life there are people who are very close to you and for whom we work day and night. They may be your parents, wife, children, siblings etc. Better give them recovery materials in case anything happen to you, so that all you hard work is not lost on the darkness of blockchain.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This is the Fear and Greed Index Chart on: December 13, 2021, 11:59:26 AM

While the chart and logic look pretty good and.. well.. common sense, I have an "evil" question: what if the price falls (much) lower? What if crypto winter starts? Won't then the current "buying zone" become obsolete and may even become a "I wish I sold" zone?

I clearly don't hope for such thing happen. I hope the 100k mark is at least touched before. But a good trader (which I'm not) has to also be prepared for "what if".

That's the catch and nobody can answer this question with certainty. You have to take chance from some where when its DIP, of course market can take swings in both directions from here. You can regret if market goes down from here or vice versa. IMO its a good opportunity to grab some coins at this price, DYOR before making any final decision .
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Metaverse | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: December 12, 2021, 06:50:11 PM
Well NFTs are far from going down and out, they are here to stay unlike other short lived concepts. What makes CATA unique in this domain is there token real world use cases. CATA is not just another coin that is launched with intention of making money, instead there is strong team behind the project.

I have a different opinion that in start majority of concepts in crypto are able to grab huge attention but with time they lose there popularity. remember the ICO boom in 2017? even shit coins enjoy the ride at that time. But with time they are not that much popular, We need to wait and see how far will NFT go.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: December 12, 2021, 06:46:27 PM
MASS no doubt has so much to offer but the community only knows it as a token that can be mined using HDD. The concept of PoC consensus algorithm is there to solve many problem associated with PoW and PoS. MASS also support multiple instance of blockchain, a feature that is not present in many blockchains.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: December 12, 2021, 06:42:30 PM
If you looking to get MASS then right now its best to buy it from exchange rather then mining it. As price of MASS is totally down and out. You wont find MASS at such price very often. Even at current price of 0.06$ today's volume was 9 million USD. This clearly shows that whales are buying this coin for future bull run.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC halving party is over, MASS PoC takes you back to ten years ago on: December 12, 2021, 06:39:47 PM
MASS has gone down to its minimum price since its launch, I dont know wts the exact reason for that. BTC is still somewhat bullish and so are alt coins. Is this the end of this coin or other way around? It may be because whales have got there profit from this coin and have dumped it now. I still see its a good coin to buy.

Remember "when market is bear, cash is the king". See the price of MASS, its extremely lucrative for buying. We don't pay much attention to a coin when its down and out rather we buy it when it starts going up. That's the mistake made by majority of traders and that's why its said 80% of traders are in loss.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: December 12, 2021, 06:35:38 PM
Seeing the price chart of MASS on CMC today is clearly a pumping day for MASS, as it went up by 34% and volume was over 9 million. I still feel this is available at discounted price and if you have some spare cash then do add this coin in your portfolio. It will hit back to its price of 0.3$ very soon, all you need is patience.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: December 12, 2021, 06:30:52 PM
The only thing associated with BOOM is token burning till date which means coin will go down in strength with every new transaction. Though it sounds tempting, but decrease in strength will increase demand only if token has some sort of utility. As long as we dont see any utility, I dont think price will go up.

Whales have the capability to do anything and do they nasty things that can pump a coin. See BOOM daily volume is around 50k most of the time. But when BOOM hits its ATH on 9 May 2021 its 24 hrs volume was over 3 million USD. It was clearly pumping because no feature was added to BOOM but it still got its moon shot.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 12, 2021, 06:16:39 AM

This isn't fair. We can't come to a statement that black people aren't willing to play cricket and it is much preferred by non-black. Below is the details of Temba Bavuma. What is more required from a player beyond this. Have a good average in my view.

Fair enough. Not to forget he is under pressure too for being first black captain. SA cricket board has to change the things (of white dominance) from some point and that's the point right now. Now black players will be confident that they will find place in national side, there interest will automatically develop.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 12, 2021, 06:11:07 AM

OK.. so it is the senior players who ganged up against him. Waqar may have made some mistakes, due to his lack of experience as a coach. So what happened here is that his detractors and some of the senior players used it against him. I am afraid that the Pakistan team is going in the same direction as India, where the role of coach is largely "ceremonial". It is the senior players who decide on everything and this in turn leads to nepotism and bias. The PCB should make sure that this never happens.

Waqar has been appointed coach of Pakistan cricket for 2 to 3 times. Aqib Javed says whenever he is out from coaching he do commentary not spend time polishing his coaching skills. If being good bowler or batsman is criteria for being a coach then nobody is most suitable for this job other then Sachin n ponting.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2021, 11:12:17 AM
You can still trade BTC with anonymity, it all depends on what you prefer. There are so many exchanges around and most of them are centralized that require KYC. If you are ready to compromise on your privacy then you can join these centralized exchanges. But yes I do agree that most common source of BTC trading is through these exchanges.
714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people are using bitcoin wallets? on: December 09, 2021, 11:08:04 AM
How many people are using bitcoin wallets?

I think that the most honest answer is: Nobody knows.

The same thing came in my mind when I read OP. My thoughts on this are that its a different financial system as compared to centralized banks so there is no trace of how many are in BTC pool. Also there is no way we can find how many are using the wallets. Anonymity is one of the key aspect of BTC so you cant trace people here.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 09, 2021, 11:03:29 AM
Yeah, also Pfizer has announced that its booster shot is effective on it. So, there's nothing to worry about the said variant, and guys, maybe you haven't seen it yet.

But the point is how many such shots we have to take. Variants of Covid19 are not stopping as they keep on popping every now and then, so we will also keep taking shots or is there any end to that?

I've seen that there's a live stream on the Facebook page of "Smart Sports" for PBA games, so if you're just sitting in front of your computer or you're on a travel, you can easily watch there.
I'm watching now the game of BlackWater and Rain or Shine.

Thanks for sharing this, I am watching it now too. Rain and Shine are dominating the game with 60/45. Seems like Rain and shine will easily win this game.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 09, 2021, 10:53:30 AM
Finally, BCCI announced the India ODI captain. India have named Rohit Sharma as their new ODI captain, replacing Virat Kohli. I think that was a logical decision. There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is one of the best cricketers in the world, but speaking of his captaincy, there is something missing and expectations aren't met. This is not to say that Kohli did not deserve that role. It was always believed somewhere that Rohit had a slight advantage over him when it came to limited overs.

I think its the result of bad performance of Indian cricket in recent T20 WC and as a result Kohli has to lose his captaincy. Kohli was good till this WC, I guess there was no news of new captain before the T20 WC, it all happen after the WC. Rohit Sharma real test will be in SA, as they will be playing outside India there.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 09, 2021, 10:49:26 AM
Even Queensland Police is making fun English team. Nobody was expecting such a bad start of Ashes from English team. Its a good start from Cummins of both his Captaincy and Ashes series by picking 5 wickets. Seems like its an English team of early 2000 when Mike Atherton was captain of very weak English team.

718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 09, 2021, 10:39:20 AM

West Indian biggest issue is they are grouped of seven independent countries and all countries are having their own quota which is concern and sadly no one country able to have separate cricket board and his own team, so this is main dead point for them, and they are losing some very good and talented players and now sinking down day by day from all three formats surely in near future they will be able to have just good matches against teams like Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Ireland because Afghanistan is also going to be very good team in next few years, and they will be not able to compete with them.

But with same structure West Indies have produced legendary cricketers and have ruled the cricket world for decades. Don't forget even with current circumstances they were able to win T20 WC in 2016. Every team has it own winter and summer, right now WI are in there winter stage but it wont last forever.

And Issues in Zimbabwe and South Africa are completely different from here because here mostly white guys are better in quality and blacks still struggling to adopt this all with some good love for soccer and rugby.

In SA the main issue was racism and political, whites were given priority over blacks nothing else. Now with change in govt, SA boards have adopted policy of giving priority to blacks.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 09, 2021, 10:32:29 AM

Just curious to know why that news about Pandaya and tim can't be shared in other three threads made for the all three formats of cricket.
On those threads every cricket match and news can be discussed according to the relevant format.

On other three threads live cricketing discussion were taking place and general cricket discussion cant be done there, since they cant be done in environment where scores and match results were being discussed. There are so many threads for football and they all are Active. Cricket has just 4 active threads, let this one live.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 08, 2021, 05:52:11 PM

Note : Guys would be better if we move this discussion into test thread.

Since we have a separate thread for test matches, one day and T20, then what is the purpose of this thread.
I can see this thread was created in 2015 and is the oldest cricket thread created 6 years ago but now it's time that we lock it. Any opinion on this?

Let this thread live, don't lock it. The other three threads are about T20, ODI and Test. While here we discuss incidents other then these three formats. Recent news about H Pandaya and Tim were shared here. of course we cant discuss them in other three threads. So I am of the opinion that just this thread live.
