Is this running ok? what do those errors mean

You need to run the wallet in order to solo mine. Also, you will need to copy your passfrase you got when creating the account to passphrases.txt and run run_dump_address.bat.
It should dump your address and passfrase to address.txt

Let me know if its working metter

those seem to be the old addresses i generated when learning, the most current one im using is mining right?

i have the wallet running and logged in with the same passphrase thats in the .txt file
the generate bat wrote into the passphrase file found address "passphrase" -> 140628xxxxxxxx

but it still says error reading file 140628xxxxx then it says new best 140628196xxxx:9729

Ok, go to your wallet. Click on more info on Balance thingy (green blob). You should see the ID there. Is it the same with the one in your plot file?

yes inside the wallet the number is identical to the number on the top of my generate nonce bat and is identical to what you see in the miner cmd picture. its disconcerting seeing it say that there is a error reading the file with the same number (the one in my wallet and my plot file) .. as you see in the picture in red circle.. am i ok?

No, sorry. I read between the lines. Its working now.
The error about not being able to read the file is ok. If you are generating that plot at the same time you will see that message every time a new block is found.
Also, that message is shown if you stop the plotting before it ends. But it still reads the file, you should be fine

My bad

wonderful! now im feeling confident Smiley  so theoretically could i map drives on my network and generate plots on them too and utilize my network and other computers that stay powered on in my same lan?

you've been so much help i dont have any burst yet, but i would love to tip you, do you have a doge address?

DSdAH4YMmQeQypxxQd3HgN3tToX27ch5eM is my Doge.
So, in theory you could use the drives on lan. But, when you plot files the process is as follows. The data is generated in RAM, and when the set stagger size is reached it is then dumped to disk.
For example. I am plotting files with a stagger of 40000 (thats 10 Gb of RAM used). So, every 40000 nonces, the plotter dumps 10 Gb of data to disk.
The problem is that unless you have gigabit LAN, plotting on mapped drives will be slow

so it would most likely be wise to mine in the v2 pool untill im running a good size plot for solo mining... the pocminer pool v1 i already added the IP in the bat file, can i just merge the pocminer folder with the original miner files and run the bat for it to work?

it looks like most of the files are identical can they overwrite each other with the exception of my passphrases witch should be what was generated into my solo one?

starting at plot 1 and stopping at plot 80000 is that going to use as much space as possible on my HDD? ( for maximum hdd hash rate)?

No. Like I stated earlier, thats only 2 Gb .80000 x 256 Kb.

ok i think im starting to understand! i see my harddrive space being used! and i noticed the plots folder! so once its done i could re run the command starting at 80001-160000 for another 2 GB? and it would write some more plots, yes?

Exactly

great! ok almost got it. curious about adding harddrives now. so lets say i attach some sata hdd's and format them ntsc and give them drive letters, how does it know to plot them on that particular harddrive. and how does it know to look there for my plots?

It doesn't know. You have to run a miner on each drive and start plotting where you left off on the first drive.
As for the miner, it scans the "plots" folder when the block changes. So it knows if there is a new file.

that would entail copying my whole pocminer folder to the drive and run the bat from it?..  so you would have x amount of mining windows open for x amount of drives?

so each miner would scan its own plot folder on each drive? being that each drive has a identical miner it knows where to send thecoins and what the other miners are doing?

when i try to run the miner it says im unable to get mining info from wallet
Is your wallet running? If it is, is it v 1.0.3?

lol dumbass wallet wasn't running. derrr   Cheesy  such a noob

ok lastly miner is working but in the beggining i get error missing passphrase for address xxx couple times. they were the old ones i generated and tried to use before relizing the passphrase needed to be the same for everything, is there a way to delete the old ones so there isnt multiples in there?... and when its basetarget and generation signature does that mean its mining correctly?

lower the stagger size. Its trying to use more memory than your system has. How much ram does that computer have?

4gb, its almost maxing out my cpu. is there a way to tone it down, id hate for it to interrupt a few instances of cgminer i have running as well    i put it back to 1000 and 4 the default settings and now its "generating from nonce: 1"
"writing from nonce 1" "generating from nonce: 1001"

Can I have some assistence please, Im trying to get started and ive been successfully following instructions except for this part

this example :

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate xxxxx plot#tostartwith plot#toendwith 1000 4

how do i know where i want my plot to start and end? could i have some clarification please, and how would i go about setting this up on multiple harddrives... and lastly what are the to last arguments on the end of this.. the 1000 and the four?

use the run_generate.bat, its easier.
run_generate.bat id-that-you-got-from-running-run_dump_address.bat starting-nonce ending-nonce stagger-size cores-to-use
like this
run_generate.bat 987654567890987612 0 80000 8000 7
It will start from nonce 0 and will plot to nonce 80000
The next file should start at nonce 80000 to whatever you want it to be. Like:
run_generate.bat 987654567890987612 80000 80000 8000 7
The same applies if you run across multiple drives. Do not overlap the nonces. Start your next file from where you stopped the previous one

I think I'm even more confused now, I'm noob. okay i am editing my generate bat file. i have my ID in there but I do not know what plots to use, or "nonces" to use, should i just use the 0 to 80000?? will it figure it out by it self?  im testing it on a old computer i have sitting around with like 50gb freespace... before i unpack some harddrives i want to know what I am doing.

you don't need to edit the file.
Run it from command prompt.
A nonce represents a lets say segment of the plot you are generating. The stagger represents a stack of nonces. So, In the example I gave you it would generate 80000 nonces in stacks of 8000.
Also good to know, a nonce has 256 Kb. So that example would take 2 Gb of space.
So, just to clarify things. "run_generate.bat 987654567890987612 80000 80000 8000 7" this is the command you have to run. Don't edit the file.

so now i get this.

great coin

 1st post!

Librexcoin technologies are unique, anon LibrexSend™ is coming in a few weeks (side chain) I think it could be even better than zerocoin.

LXC does not have competitors in crypto and 7Ksat price is for free, I have no mercy of weak people, I am keeping buying their cheap coins.

google says this post was in english but for a novice i cant say i comprehend the concept of a "sidechain"
