1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 09, 2023, 10:35:51 PM
Well like others say here, nothing becauss I still play the allocated amount that I usually usef to gamble, for example in every session I only use $100 worth of BTC if I'm playing in a crypto based casino, then even the BTC price changes I still will used $100 worth of BTC so nothing changes, I still will follow my limit in gambling, but of course if the price moves I will choose not to gamble at all, because I will be focused on doing trade at that time. I only do gambling is the BTC price is calm or minimal movements. But yeah in summary nothing changes in my gambling habit it will still be the same. Maybe the the impact of Bitcoin price movement will be in other aspect like in trading or such but in gambling I'm sure gamblers will not be affected to it, as you will only spend the assets you have.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or gaming sites on: November 09, 2023, 09:56:05 PM
Recently one of my friends told me about some gambing / gaming sites  or apps like Orion Stars, Milky Way, Fire Kirin, Gamevault, Riversweeps,   Ultra panda and few others.
He told that these are very popular games but i told that i am not aware of these sites. I first thought that they could be gaming sites but later i find out they have gambling games and are in fact casino.

A few of the sites / App links are http://web.pandamaster.vip/game/pandamaster/ , http://web.orionstars.vip/play/orionstars/

Has anyone known and played at these sites? Do let me how was their experience and what sort of games are there ?
Are they pure gambling sites or a mixture of gambling and gaming sites ? Although you need coins to play at these sites and you can redeem the winning coins into fiat money.

As a cautious person, before previewing your attached links, I use a link checker to see if those links are safe. The result is that these sites are risk-free, but they lack more information, so it's up to the readers to check the site itself. Based on the mentioned sites or gambling sites, I'm not familiar with them, maybe because they are new websites or such. But I'm more focused on the application than the website. I like to do gambling online that has an application and can be downloaded to app stores, which will indicate that the site or casino is safe and trusted. Casino games are simply games that involve money, so they are the same as gaming sites. And gambling sites only have games that can be found in physical casinos, as the websites are dedicated to replicating the traditional casino for easy access and convenience for the gamblers.
1223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pro-trend or Counter-trend? on: November 09, 2023, 01:35:11 PM
I think it will depend on the situation. But I mostly do pro-trend or follow the trend because I earn more from that method. Sometimes I also do counter-trends, but not often because I'm still not confident in doing that method and also because I don't have the expert skill to do so. That's why I also still look up references to know the trend, but I still map my own chart and follow it. So yeah, it will depend on the situation. I know a friend who does counter trend a lot; so far, it's an effective method for him, but as I saw mapping analysis, I saw that we have a different setup. That's why I realise that our trade will depend on us who do the analysis. That's why I don't do much counter trade; it's too risky for me, and I know I'm not confident and skilled enough.
1224  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: November 09, 2023, 12:30:33 PM
the site looks interesting. But the main thing i don`t like that i need to register. And everywhere i see the button of registration. And i can`t test site totally without registration.
It is possible that there are lots of opportunities after registration and i think that at least part of them really need registration(like different challenges). But the same time i must have an opportunity to use some services without registration - i don`t like it. So i just looked at the site and closed it.

I see your point. Pure waste of time. And it can be frustrating when you're required to register just to explore a website. While registration can offer benefits websites should allow users to access some features without it to make the initial experience more user-friendly.

If they really want to help us they don't need us to register IMO.
True, I agree with what guys are saying, how can a person who visits their website be attracted or interested in their website if the person can't access some features of the website, I know there is informations in the front website but it still not enough to atrract people or players, ok let's say someone got interested but he need to login first it is a bit hassles and we know users tend to be bored because they need to do something before they view what attracted them, I get it its easy to register but still if you know how to attract players for your website then at the front page of your website you will put something that will make them register right away, or because of their curiosity they will register to your website or app, text is not enough to attract people, as some are too lazy to read long texts so the effective way to attract them is by using graphics, pictures that is example in your website. You have to do more when it comes to attracting players to your website.
1225  Economy / Gambling / Re: Guide for newcomers Start a fun and profitable gambling entertainment journey o on: November 09, 2023, 10:35:38 AM
I don't think promoting your website or casino website will be useful. First, your account is a newbie, so a lot of readers here might think that your casino cannot be trusted. I've read your post, but it still lacks some promotional information. And that's right, like most said, buy a higher-tier account so you can catch the attention of everyone here.

I've visited your website; it seems fine but still lacks information or legitimacy. As you said, it's a new website. The casino might as well spread your post in another section, but you could be tagged as spam. There is a specific section in this forum where you can freely promote your website. Anyway, good luck promoting your website. I hope you can attract more players. I hope also that you could give attention to the posters here in your topic and answer their question, so they could not have any speculation or common sense on your website.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know about the first public servant paid in bitcoin ? on: November 09, 2023, 08:20:44 AM
But we can't blame him for that; it's because it's his salary, and we know why he works; it's because he has basic needs and expenses, so at that time he does not have a mindset for something like we know right now; it's simple; he is not meant for that; we can't predict the future; we never know what will happen; and in that year, the bitcoin price has a small amount, and the technology is new to most people in that year, so no one expects that bitcoin will skyrocket and will be popular.

The story is similar to that of a guy who brought a pizza using his bitcoin. At that time, even though bitcoin has an amount, it's still not that much. A guy used his bitcoin asset to bring a pizza without knowing that if he holds the asset, he will also be a millionaire. It's also an example of people who missed a big opportunity that will turn their lives around in an instant, but they are not to blame; not all will be lucky.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not perfect, and that's okay. on: November 09, 2023, 03:58:30 AM
I don't see how the statements made by the OP will be considered flaws because that is the characteristic of bitcoin—the nature of bitcoin itself. In fact, that is the beauty of bitcoin: its unique technology and characteristics that give investors opportunities. Volatile? I don't see that as a flaw. Yes, maybe from its word, but in bitcoin, it means profit potential. If there's no movement in the market, then there's no profit.

I agree with all the OPs who stated that not all things are perfect, even bitcoin. Yes, it can be subject to crimes and wrong deeds, but that is not the fault of bitcoin; the ones to blame are the people who commit the crimes.

So no matter what, I will still believe and do bitcoin stuff as long as I gain profit from it. This technology still has a lot to discover and can be applied to other technologies and daily lives.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investing plan on: November 08, 2023, 11:35:28 PM
I'm sure many have already suggested investing all in bitcoin or a large percentage of your capital in bitcoin. Well, you can follow that, but it still depends on you, meaning that what do you want long-term or short-term? because if you are going to put your capital to hold bitcoin, then you will need to wait long term before you can get a huge amount of profit. Yes,  anytime you can convert your bitcoin, but you will not utilise the profit potential. then if you want to still earn while holding a bitcoin asset, then you can use the other portion of your capital to hold another alt coin, but still, you need to wait. So I suggest exploring more other things to earn using a crypto currency. You can do trade or staking, and crypto currency or bitcoin itself is a broad industry. You can explore many things that could help you earn.
1229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wedding expenses and party celebrations with Bitcoin money. on: November 08, 2023, 10:48:53 PM
Well, first of all, congratulations! It's good to see this kind of topic wherein people show their achievements or things they do with the help of bitcoin, and that is a wonderful thing, but it's also thanks to you, because without your initiation to invest in bitcoin, you will not have what you have now. Luckily, you invested at the right time, and sharing your story helps a lot of readers here to give hope and believe that they can also achieve something with the help of bitcoin, and of course, with the help of themselves. We just need to keep on grinding and pursuing our wants and needs. I too think that being thankful for bitcoin gives me a lot of opportunities and because of that I get to buy the things that I don't have in the past, so I will keep on doing bitcoin stuffs, its inspiring to read stories like this.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 08, 2023, 10:14:24 PM
Aside from the things listed by OP, I just want to add that we should avoid gambling while under the influence of alcohol because many tend to do action even if its not on their plan or strategy and many tend to spend more simply because they can’t control their emotion while under the influence of alcohol. Make sure when you gamble you are in right state of mind and you know what you are doing to avoid any big losses.

You're on point, dude. Gamblers tend to gamble under the influence of alcohol; it often happens if there is a drink session, and one of their favourite things to do is amble. I personally do this: when me and my friends are having a drink, we play a card game called "tong-its" because it's fun playing with friends, but we don't stake too much money; we only place small bets just for fun.

But it's unavoidable to notice that in most casinos, they offer or let the gamblers have alcohol. Well, it's part of the casino, especially in cally and expensive casinos. So many gamblers gamble under the influence of alcohol, but many are immune to this, which means that they can still gamble straight even after consuming alcohol. Some really want alcohol beside them because they think that it makes them gamble more efficiently, so it can't be avoided, but of course, being drunk and gambling is what we must avoid.
1231  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SPORTBETTING ADVICE ⚽️ on: November 08, 2023, 09:36:19 PM
If sports betting is easy to win because of skill, knowledge and experiences then there will be many sportsbook provider already close their business and many people will be rich by now.

Dont forget that there is an odds for every games so it will be fair for anyone to choose team A or team B.
Its all about the luck, no matter what you do with gambling it will always about your luck.
Sometimes we give or take various tips in betting but in reality if luck doesn't help then no research or strategy will help. Because in some sports we face that impossible become possible at any time. But there is no harm in following some simple rules. Winning and losing are never permanent in sports betting. So no sports book is harmed by any gambler's winnings. A gambler should not expect to earn money from gambling. Since it is uncertain, they will not be harmed by treating it as something that means the source of entertainment.
In the casino games the result depends only from luck. In the sportbetting we can analyze different moments. Of course we can`t predict the result in all matches, but we can get winrate more than 50% and such winrate allow us to get profit with the odds more than 2. The main problem is to find enough information and make a high quality analyze. And some luck will only help us.

Slightly disagree. Even though casino is more about luck, there's still casino games that require skills and thinking, such as card games. Although you need luck to get better cards, like in poker or many more card games, the decision will be yours to make about whether you will push through or use the cards. Also, it's not just luck and skills; casino games also have "propability." For example, in slots, there is a probability to know when you will hit the jackpot, but of course the probability is too low as slots have too many combinations.

But yes, sports betting is more great, or we can say gives a big winrate, as it only has two choices among the teams that will fight. So if you want a safe bet, then consider sports betting, especially for sports fans. For example,  in basketball, the NBA is the most famous sport to bet on.
1232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to find advice and info about selling BTC on: November 08, 2023, 12:46:34 PM
Hello, I am trying to figure out a good reputable place or platforms to look for a buyer/buyers for a very large amount of bitcoin.
Basically, I have a holder of Bitcoin wanting to sell. They have roughly 392,000 BTC, and invested very early and held on to it.
Any advice or recommendations would be very much appreciated.
For the kind of money involved, exchanging crypto to fiat would attract alot of attention to your...

If I were you I would consider exchanging the Bitcoin for a stable coin as this is fiat equivalent and if you are using the dollar currency you don't loss or gain on the exchange rate.

Just out of curiosity, the platform you used to buy these Bitcoins don't they happen to buyback coins for fiat Roll Eyes

It clearly sounds like a troll or nonsense question. I don't want to judge or anything; it's just that I don't think that having that many bitcoin holdings means you never once thought to sell some, and if you do, then you must have known some platforms to trust for exchanging your bitcoin for fiat. I don't know; I don't really want to judge; it's just too good to be true, and because your account is a newbie, we can't help but think that this question is nonsense. Anyway, I guess some have already shared their answers to your question. Just to add, if you want a trusted and legitimate one, use Binance. That's it; it's well known and has a lot of users. The thing is, you should be careful when transferring your funds. I still can't believe how much bitcoin you hold. May you be one of the whales? Hahaha joking.
1233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 08, 2023, 11:07:38 AM
You can agree with me that some mistakes are inevitable, especially when you're not aware of something related to occur, they comes in as a result of what we do, we can try out our best in making sure that we deal with this by taking it to the minimal level, because some may actually cost us than we expect, but when we know what we are doing, we will always ensure we avoid having any kinds due to our own carelessness in what we do.
I totally agree with this. For example, there are trades that do not go to your analysis and chart mapping. Why? As we know, the market is unpredictable. Even if we make a good trade, there's still a margin to lose. So what I mean is the sudden movement of the price, or, as we can say, movement that is caused by an unknown occurrence or, most commonly, market manipulation. As we know, big asset holders have the power to manipulate the market price as they hold a lot of coins. Their movement or engagement in the market could have an impact. I'm talking about what we called "whales." That's why don't be too well assured that you will always take a profit. Sometimes,  even if it's not your fault, losing money in trading is inevitable, so better be prepared in an industry that involves too much risk. It only matters how you cope with the shortcoming of trading.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What conditions might cause you to stop gambling? on: November 08, 2023, 07:13:23 AM
Well, I set boundaries and limitations for my gambling sessions. If I reach that point, I force myself to stop playing or gambling, but if you are talking about completely quitting gambling, I don't know if I will be able to quit gambling, and if there's a reason, I still don't know.

Maybe if I don't have money anymore? or I feel I'm keeping on losing and suffering from my losses. Like I said, I can limit myself to gambling, so I know when to stop. If I have a family, of course I need to be more responsible, and losing money is not an option anymore, even for entertainment. But as long as I don't have a family, I guess I will keep on gambling, but with discipline, it's hard for a person to know what will make them quit gambling unless it's too heavy, like being in too much debt, etc. But we know there is a certain point to that.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For Newbies Interested in Gambling on: November 07, 2023, 10:22:36 PM
Being patient and consistently involved in healthy gambling habits will surely make you a successful gambler. If you are newbie who is interested in gambling and has been following the gambling community here or any where online or offline, your purpose should be to learn as much as possible from the shared experiences of others such that you can eventually branch out independently, allowing you to operate without dependence on others.

Note that the most important thing in gambling is bankroll management and finding value. What messes people up is poor bankroll management.  Personally, I limit my bets to no more than 10 percent of my bankroll per day, I stop once that limit is reached.  Also don't get discouraged if variance comes in and you have a losing day, week, month, etc. Value is value and it will catch up.  Goodluck on your gambling journey.

Gambling oldies can throw in their 2 sats on this.
There's no "successful" gambler, there's only a not addicted gambler. Well if you consider that a success then I guess that works. I think just the management of your money is more than enough to stay on the right path. Most addicts often turn into one because of failure to manage their frequency and expenses when gambling. Beyond that though, I don't think what you feel matters much, just enjoy the game and process and don't mind the money involved. Adding into consideration money most of the time when playing can be rather frustrating after all.

I slightly disagree that there's no successful gambler, just because we have lotto winners or gamblers who luckily hit a big jackpot, and that is the reason for their success. Yes, they are few; we can't say that many will be like them, but still, there is a possibility, but of course it's low. Not all gamblers can hope to be successful by doing gambling. I agree with you that gambling is supposed to be played with enjoyment and for fun, but because people's nature is to hope for more money, they take gambling seriously, which ends up being bad.

So newbies out there wanting to enter gambling, make sure you can take the consequences of what will happen to you, you are ready for your own action, and of course, make sure to have discipline and self-control, because if not, you will only end up like the other gamblers who throw everything away because of addiction's.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you cope with those around you not believing in you for choosing Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2023, 09:36:35 PM
Well, first of all, they don't know I do bitcoin stuff, like I don't brag or mention it anyway unless they ask me personally about bitcoin directly, but for other people around me, they don't know about what I do because I don't post on social media or share my achievements in bitcoin, because what's the point? If I know that there are people out there who will question why I do bitcoin and stuff,

Also, I don't want to explain to anyone who gets interested in bitcoin just because they see me earning from it; it is an annoying thing, so I'd rather stay quiet and do my things. If, for instance, they know I do bitcoin or crypto stuff and I receive feedback about why I do these things, then I don't give a single care about their opinion or feedback; I do my own thing and do their own things. That's it.
1237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest 8k for passive income. on: November 07, 2023, 10:42:17 AM
Passive income? Dude, there is no way to have a passive income that involves bitcoin unless you will let other trades trade your capital; that's some way to earn using passive income. But you can actually buy and "buy" bitcoin by staking or holding, but it still requires you to buy bitcoin by holding, and in staking, you need a portion of your bitcoin to be staked; you just need to find a legitimate platform that offers those services.

Oh, you can also do bitcoin mining. You could use your funds to buy mining kits, such as graphic cards and PC components. In summary, you still need to buy something to have a passive income. I personally do the three passive incomes I've mentioned because I get to earn while I'm just letting my assets sit on a platform, especially trading, which is my side hustle. anyway its up to you want passive income you will choose.
1238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Lose Everything Youve Gained in One day, or One Trade on: November 07, 2023, 07:39:34 AM
The worst mistake one can make as a trader is chasing the market to recover losses, If you lose a trade, learn from it and take it as your fault.
It's called revenge trading. I've yet to see anyone who chases the market to recover their losses and does it successfully. One may be lucky with a few wins chasing the market but ultimately one will lose out at the end if one makes it a way of trading. It's better to let the loss go and then crosscheck to find out why one lost for future trades. Unfortunately, many of us don't learn this from others mistakes until it happens to us. Just like you, I've also been a victim of this. Also just like many others reading this now, they won't take precaution of this until they experience it firsthand.

Well, we can't blame others for chasing losses. As you said, you've experienced it, and I also experienced that situation. We know the feeling of losing a trade, and we know how much we want to recover the loss immediately. I've done it numerous times, and most of them end up losing more. Even now, with my long experience in trading, I often do that, but of course with minimal damage, or often I recover what I've lost. Sometimes I do a minimal lose trade, which means I trade again after the loss trade, not aiming to recover the loss completely but only to earn some, so it's not that hurt. Sometimes I'll let it go if what I've lost is not too much or if I stake a smaller amount. and I have the discipline or principle that "profit is profit," no matter how big or small it is. As long as I earn, that's enough for me. That's why I don't set a goal because I don't want to have something that I want to chase.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: November 07, 2023, 06:02:14 AM
Paying taxes is the business owner's responsibility, or the business itself is the one that will do the taxes. But I don't think that requiring a gambler to pay tax whenever they play is a good idea. Supposing gambling or playing in a casino is tax-free, and also withdrawing the earned money is tax-free. If, for instance, taxes are also implemented in both online and physical casinos, then I'm sure a lot of gamblers will protest and won't agree about that. The government's in charge of collecting taxes, and I think they can only require the business, not the gamblers, as they are only the customers.

But if, for instance, it is forced to be implemented, we can't do anything about that; just make sure that they will not add and add the tax over time because we know how the economy works right now; goods are increasing in price because of the tax.
1240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fund for Bitcoin promotion on: November 07, 2023, 04:53:43 AM
I don't think that there's a need to have groups or fund a group to promote and spread anything about bitcoin, simply because bitcoin is largely known in the world, especially on the internet. And as bitcoin sticks to the word "blockchain," meaning blockchain is an advanced technology and well known, we know that if we talk about blockchain, people will know it immediately.

And even if there are groups that promote bitcoin, many people will still not pay attention to it, especially those who are not into internet things. As we know, bitcoin is a complex technology, and even if it's an opportunity to make a profit, some people can't understand the concept of it. Yes, promoting bitcoin will be a good idea, but we can't force the crowd to know and be involved in this industry. Bitcoin is well known around the world, so there's no need to do more promotions.
