1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters needs to start respecting themselves on: October 10, 2019, 09:24:27 AM
Bounty hunters please start claiming your worth, do not go around promoting bounty projects that has too low allocation, i was surfing around on this forum today and i saw new bounty projects that have allocation worth of 1000dollars and they even have separate campaigns, why are people promoting such projects? you are the ones responsible for how developers are treating bounty hunters, there is nothing wrong if you decide not to work for penny... Even some airdrops on this forum has 8$ worth of allocation, just imagine that

This should be addressed to all the bounty hunters who are not thinking twice before joining any campaign. They didn't think whether how much they can get with such a small allocation even if that project is very promising one.

Some of the project owners also are abusing the bounty allocation and they are thinking that bounty hunters are like beggars. As a fellow bounty hunters we should always double check everything before joining whether it is worth to allocate our time for that project or it is only a waste of our time. As a bounty hunters we are investing our time, effort and patience therefore it's very unfair if we will get a single penny from months of our work.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: short term or long term investing on: October 10, 2019, 08:00:29 AM
hi guys
do u prefer short or long term investing in crypto i prefer short term only
i just buying a coin for ex at 20 and sold at 21 or buy at 60 sold 61 in the same
day i don't like long term investing because it take too long and finally that
coin can fall even peoples who bought ETH at 0.03 or more they are in big lost
now and even BNB some peoples bought at 0.003 or even 0.004 i know
that some coins can raise in the future but i don't think we have to hold
coins for yeras when u can make in this periode thousands of dollars
in short term investments i remember when i make 1700$ in hours
with NLC2 its a shit coin true with price of 20 sat now but i don't care
because i didn't hold it i just checked its chart and i found it falling
to 800 sat and raising to 900 in seconds so i bought it many times
at 800 and i sold it 900 and i make 1700$ i less then two hours  Grin
what i want to say is why u holding coins for a year when u can
make at least 25 - 50$ in a day with only 0.15 - 0.20 BTC this
means 50*365=18250$

Not all the investors has the capability to trade the same with your styles. Other have no time in checking the price every hour or daily therefore they prefer the long term investment instead of short one.

Your strategy is good in daily trading, once executed well then you can earn a good amount of profit in less than a week but the risk is very high if the one that is doing it is inexperience one or still a newbie.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unicef now accepting donations through bitcoin and ether on: October 10, 2019, 07:04:24 AM
Use of cryptocurrencies allows children’s agency to bypass fees of moving cash overseas quickly and increase financial transparency.

Read more about it by clicking here.

Unicef is now expanding their options on where to receive their donations and this move is another acceptance of crypto currencies which is a good.

This big organization that is compose of United nations that is base on New York, United State will surely influence the other organization to move forward by starting to accept crypto currencies also. Unicef move is very wise also as they outsmart the banks fees.
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: October 10, 2019, 05:24:31 AM
I remember four years ago when a project was launched asking to get funded through ICO, the team were asking to get funded so they can create a movie about Bitcoin which will star prominent actors and actresses, but the project was a big failure because they cannot present their identity and their credentials in making a movie, they cannot even present their past movie projects.

Now it's 2019 and so many things happen in Cryptocurrency, the news is everywhere and it becomes very popular on four corners of the world.
Don't you think these big production company like Warner Bros, Universal and Netflix should do a movie about Bitcoin?

Not really a documentary, but any kind of genre, like action, horror, comedy I think if the story and the plot is good, it could make a box office
What do you think and who do you want to star if ever?

This could create massive publicity for Bitcoin.

The idea is great and it will surely create a big exposure about bitcoin especially if it will be aired worldwide. Action with a little comedy genre is the best for this so many will like the movie and it will not be forgotten easily.

The bitcoin became more and more popular, if someone will fund the project to create a movie then I am sure that it will happen as long as the movie will be made in the country that legalize or accepts crypto currencies so there will be no problem in making the movie.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover on: October 10, 2019, 03:53:23 AM
You can't judge projects by how they look, what matters is what they are here to fix in crypto space,i introduced a good privacy altcoin to my friends weeks ago and they neglect it because of its look, the name of the project is sero

How can someone judge a project because of its white&black inky look?the fact is sero is just more than its logo looks and its already trading at a very good price 0.33$ i think, while its ICO price was 0.01cent.

My advice to people like my friends is to always put aside how a project looks, either scam looking or not please take your time to investigate before you decide if its good or not. Some projects are more than how they look, remember that not all shinny things are good either, learn to do research on projects not how they look.

They must be inexperience as they were able to judge the project without reading the whitepaper and checking the team behind the project. But it's hard also to tell someone that invest to it or support it because this is a good project because we don't have the control on what will happen to the project.

Only the team behind it has the control on what they are going to do with the project either continue it's development after successfully raising funds or exit the project and run away the funds. There are many cases like these so it's hard to recommend right now on what project to support or invest.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better for you guys ? on: October 10, 2019, 03:22:00 AM
Doing IEO on the top exchange but public response is flat, or IEO on the exchange is not credible or shit exchange but the public is enthusiastic about welcoming it ?

Of course the best option of the two choices is an IEO on exchange that is not credible but the public is very enthusiastic in welcoming it.

Demand is very important in every success of the project therefore if the response is flat, it only means that certain project is a shit one and no one will bother to invest or support it.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 10, 2019, 02:46:28 AM
Everytime there are coins that are being advertise we get excited
we make rumors and lots of noise without knowing it forst hand
we are just excited about the bounty , and sharing links to others
to make lots of refferal and bonus
but at the end of the campaign after we found out its a bust we then release are sentiments toward it, how it fails and the campaign
I think we should understand that everything are not perfect and we should be willing to move on after it , instead of wasting time and hate over the project this should be what we should do

Not everyone has the capability to judge the newly launch project whether it is a good project or a shit project therefore many will fall victim to kind of problems.

If anyone has the capability to check whether the team behind the project are all genuine and competent then we don't have to worry to this kind of issues. But if someone can at least provide a platform in which they will background check the newly launch project starting from it's team, capability of the project to succeed and etc. then we can easily solve this kind of problem.
1248  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 10, 2019, 02:11:41 AM
True story,

In 2017 I was running my bitcoin blog; one of the first blogs created in the space, when someone contacted me from an official BitcoinTalk.org. They asked for 5 BTCs to post a banner ad on BT. Seeing that the email was coming from an official BT address, I sent them 5 BTCs.

Two weeks later after not hearing from anyone, I received a message from BitcoinTalk.org saying their email was hacked and the ad offer was from a scammer.

5 Bitcoins today = $40,000 USD. I really miss it. I wish BitcoinTalk.org would at least say sorry.

It's a big amount, it will be better also if you have posted also here the body of the email that they have sent to you and the transaction hash of your payment which is 5 btc. I am pretty sure that it's still there if your story is true.

Whether their email account was hack, they should be accounted for it and at least apologize to you for what happened or they can give some offer as compensation of what happened. It's better that you should triple check everything also before paying, your negligence also brought you to this situation.
1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to miners when Bitcoin limit supply completely mined? on: October 10, 2019, 01:42:37 AM
We are estimating Bitcoin supply to be completely mined by 2140 and there won't be any Bitcoin left to mine. At that time, reward for miners would be only from the transaction fee (not sure enough tbh). Do you guys think that the transactions fee are enough for miners to make profit while today we always want to pay transaction fee as low as possible?

What's your opinion about this?

If there is no other way to extend the bitcoin supply then there is no other option for the miner, to take profit from the transaction fees as they cannot mine anymore.

But 2140 still a long way and we are not yet sure 100% that it can last until that time but I am hoping that someday we can achieve it. I am pretty sure as the time passes by there will be some changes that will happen for the benefits of the users and the miners.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 10, 2019, 01:12:24 AM
I found this article on cointelegraph :https://cointelegraph.com/news/nearly-10-billion-in-btc-is-held-in-wallets-of-8-crypto-exchanges. I wonder  if they had the control over the price, they can make a bearish run or even they can wake the bull up? Well for sure there is only one thing to expect it is having a good price in the future. What is your thought if the 10 billion worth of bitcoin will move?

It can surely affect the price of bitcoin if 10 billion worth of bitcoin will be move but if it will be use to pump the price then it can surely increase the price of bitcoin in a short period of time.

Buying bitcoin as of now will be worth a long time of investment and not for this year only as it will surely take time for the bitcoin price to recover. Maybe in midst of 2020 we can see the price of bitcoin to x2 or x3 which is good price to sell.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Cafe on: October 09, 2019, 02:14:59 PM
In Bangladesh, people are not allowed to use bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Govt has declared it illegal. The great news is our current Finance Ministry is thinking over it and we will probably be seen Bitcoin legal in the coming years.
In Dhanmondi, there's a cafe namely "The Bitcoin Cafe". Although they don't accept bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, I see it as a great way of promotion, people will learn more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I have visited this cafe 2 times and asked to pay with Bitcoin but he wasn't agreed.

Photos are taken from google review.

The name itself is a big influence to all bitcoin lovers and to those who didn't know about bitcoin yet. There are still plenty of governments that are still afraid in crypto currencies and I am sure that many will benefit once your government will start to legalize the use of bitcoin in your country.

The design of their cafe is very amazing also as it is full of cryto currencies symbol aside from bitcoin, they also have monero, eth, ripple and etc.
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 09, 2019, 01:46:33 PM
So, we are moving into a new era where Fiat currencies are getting some competition from Crypto currencies and multiple other payment methods. People are simply not interested in using cash anymore, because cashless payment options are more efficient and also more convenient. < Debit & Credit cards / Crypto currencies / Gift cards / E-Wallets / Cheque / PayPal etc. >

So with the endless alternative payment options available, cash payments are slowly being replaced by more practical and convenient payment options.

Is there still a need for Cash <Fiat currencies> in this evolving world?

I can think of several scenarios where Fiat currencies are still needed, namely :

1. Where there are no electricity infrastructure.
2. Where it is not safe to carry expensive smart phones.
3. Where there are no access to the Internet.
4. Where there are a high number of illiterate people.
5. Where there are people with disabilities that presents challenges for electronic payment options.

I personally think there are still huge challenges that needs to be addressed, before electronic payment options can permanently replace Fiat currencies and that alternative payment options can co-exist with Fiat currencies.

Please give your opinion and participate in the Poll.  Wink

Right now replacing fiat with crypto currencies are still out of the questions because of the scenarios that you have pointed out and I agree with it but if in case the society will keep on evolving then it will surely come someday like 50-200 years from now where electricity is not a problem anymore.

Where everyone has internet connections and even illiterate people already knows how to use the basic transaction of crypto currencies payment. Even if we are far from it but I believe 100% that it will occur someday.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin? on: October 09, 2019, 11:36:30 AM
It's hard to invest in a new coin with the so many scam reports about new coins, they are promising a lot giving a new concept and making huge promotion about their coin, so you'll just invest in their coin
How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin?

There is no guarantee in every investment but you can at least lessen the risk of your investment if you know what you are investing and you have enough knowledge about the project especially their team members, partners, whitepaper and etc.

The project team members will surely do their best to gather some huge investors therefore they will surely focus in making a huge promotion to their project as it is the basic strategy in every newly launch project. Let the investors know that you are there because if you can't then you cannot get a single investor to your project.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 09, 2019, 11:07:47 AM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

You are right, what is most appealing in the project is their x5-x10 promises return of investment and the investors who are very greedy will surely take the bait. But in this case, only the newly investors will only fall to this kind of tactics.

Because the professional or the experience investors will make sure to dig first the project before deciding to invest. Some projects will also being hype, so it's better that you should also stay away from this kind of tactics. Lastly before investing, make sure that you know well the project and you have a better chance of gaining a profit once their coins/tokens will reach the exchange.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Percentage commission cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2019, 10:35:58 AM
I`m looking for cryptocurrency with percentage transaction comission. Example: using bitcoin, I have to pay fixed amount of satoshi, no matter I transfer 0.0001btc or 100btc. But is there a cryptocurrency, with which I have to pay 0.01 coins to transfer 10 coins and 1 coin to transfer 1000 (comission 0.1%)?

Bitcoin has a high transaction fees compare to other currencies out there like Ethereum and etc. If you want to define your own transaction fees then you can try using ethereum as you can adjust it's fees easily by going to advance option, no matter how much you are going to transact the transaction fees is always the same.

For example, you are going to transact an equivalent of 100 btc in ethereum, it's fees is still the same which is less than 1$ if the ethereum is not crowded. You can always check the transaction fees here https://ethgasstation.info/ .
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your token's on: October 09, 2019, 10:11:05 AM
There are lots of people who shouted for help every time i open the forum lots of them are scammed, lost a key for their wallets and more,
here are some tips that you can do to avoid this kind of incidents
1. Keep your keys for wallets in a secure place where you can easily access but others can't
This is the number one rule of thumb for me keep it in a safe place that accessible by you but not to other people
2. Never share your passwords to anyone
Remember even the closes person to you can turn you down sometimes, and hit you really hard when you don't expect
its okay to trust people around you but there should be a distance or a position where in okay you can't know everything about me its
too personal.
3. If you keep your keys codes etc in your computer make sure you always have a backup a clone for the drive to be safe.
This is the last one for me but this should be at first procedure you should do first always keep your backup because we all know
you don't know when your computer encounter a problem specially windows , which a lot of users are using ,
there you go this are some simple steps that can be done i hope this can help you keep you codes and keys safe every time

You have your point but when we say keep your keys in a secure place are you talking about offline place or online storage that you can store your keys securely?

Most of the reasons why others lost their funds or was scammed was because of their own negligence. Though there are other cases that were being brute force by hackers so we can't deny that this kind of cases are out of our reach.

But if you lost your funds because of phishing, trusting others that you only know online, giving your private keys to other people without thinking the consequences. These are all negligence of the owner.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 09, 2019, 12:41:38 AM
I know it is not secure to use public internet Cafe Computers for accessing the wallets and for transaction needs. At times I don't have any other option than just using it. I would like to know, is there any software available to record the input data entered while accessing the wallet. Recently one of my friend informed about such a way to know the private keys. Is there anyone here have any such experience.

If the owner of the public internet Cafe has installed a keylogger in his/her cafe then your private keys and other important data will be stolen in a blink of an eye.

I can say that public internet Cafe is 50/50 safe to use and if you are transacting a huge amount of money it's better that you should not use it. It will be best if you will just buy your own computer and internet to be safe and always stay away from phishing sites or store your private keys online.
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing new. on: October 08, 2019, 01:24:58 PM
Today in crypto, Tokens, wallets, exchanges, and even DEX is easily done.  What would it take impress you nowadays?

Yes, they can be done easily but what I am looking nowadays are the project that can give unique goals with positive team behind it and will likely succeed in their launch.

I am sure many new projects will come out once the market can recover from it's crashes but right now let's just wait what will happen in the following months.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake vs Fixed bounty allocation on: October 08, 2019, 11:31:20 AM
With stake allocation you can get more tokens based on the stake and how many participants join the bounty but that's that, the reason why I choose fixed allocation over stake is because right from the start you've know how much tokens you will get and the fact is merely looking or comparing bounties from one to another fixed bounty allocation performs better, they pays most times and no single participants is left out, what do you guys say about this?

At first, I love fixed bounty allocation as you can directly compute how much you are going to earn in the whole bounty campaign period and your share will not reduce even if the participants will increase rapidly unlike stake base.

But right now, there are very few campaigns that offer this kind of campaign so we don't have a choice but to join the stake base campaign especially if the project is very attractive.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the fair rewards come out from campaign? on: October 08, 2019, 11:02:47 AM
I was planning to join the campaign, i asked one already join more than one, the answer is choked me,
Although the project not bad, he received only $6.8 after worked for 6 weeks is it fair?  Is it normal?
What you think?

Of course it is not normal as you have joined an almost shit project. Do you think the time that you have spent for 6 weeks are worth 6.8$?

You better find a better project as there are few projects out there that you can earn like 200-1000$ for 1-2 months of campaign. You better study the project first before joining to avoid joining shit projects, it's better to join like 2-3 genuine projects compare to 10-12 shit projects.
