1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: July 13, 2023, 11:58:58 AM
even professional gamblers still experience defeat when trying to analyze carefully and bet on the chosen team.

Should anyone come to inform us of the best strategy or gow to gamble without loosing is nothing but lies, gambling is a game of chances and how lucky we appear when doing it, no one can be so professional  enough in gambling without making some mistakes along the road, we cannot know it all but yet we can make a good performance in our gambling experience by having a better understanding of how we could minimize risk and increase chances of winning.

but even though luck is still very important here, at least using any strategy can minimize losses so that they are not too big.

That's true, we can reduce the risk to the bearest minimum level that it will not affect our gambling lifestyle, we can experience losses but when it's too much for us to cope with, we may decided to loose interest in gambling or rather have the opposite by being addicted to gambling on a move to make recovery back from the losses made but the more we are attempting the more the losses keep on increasing each day.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: July 13, 2023, 11:38:17 AM
Well, that is what they make us believe, but as I have said in many cases, when we operate with Bitcoin, what is the need for government regulators to know who does it, how they do it and why they do it, for later demand a very large tax and they continue to benefit, so it doesn't seem like that to me,
I understand your point but there's no way the government will know about the sender and recipient of all cryptocurrency even after the regulation is signed but the tax range will be determined base on geographical location and there's no way the government won't benefit if we want Bitcoin to be used as the mainstream of payment.

Satoshi created bitcoin to obtain financial freedom, not so that we are under the same yoke all the time, yes, I know that through the casinos they can have access to the players, through the Excahnges they can have access to the best and biggest whales, but why in the end extract something from it.
Yes, but even if Satoshi could provide an explanation about this he will agree to the regulation because it's something we should expect after the success of the crypto market, and the market regulation doesn't mean we're totally under the same yoke the market can not be totally regulated.

While Satoshi has acted his own path by the creation of bitcoin which is a decentralized digital currency, it is left for us to decide through which means do we want to make use of this currency such a way that we will be safe and secured, if you think that yours is to have a privacy plan as your priority them make use of bitcoin for your crypto gambling and send them from a decentralized wallet to the casino wallet, also make use of a casino that does not require KYC protocols or requirements for creating an account with them, with this alone you can be far better stayed stafe.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: July 13, 2023, 11:16:53 AM
If having the opportunity to get one or two reliable sport bet group is becoming a problem then i will advise that one should make the move in creating one thenblook for participate or members to join and make it either open a closed group base on your preferred choice, odds providers may not gives you their services for free whereas having games predictions from them are not hundred percent accurate because they will tell you this and if they don't, it's expected of you to know that there's nothing to assure you on that, for any gambler who is well knowledgeable enough then he should be able to make decisions althrough by himself without waiting for any group influence on his decision to gambling.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: July 13, 2023, 10:58:15 AM
For this referral bonuses, ive seen before that Pmalek created a thread you check it out here. List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets before I knew only with the freebit.co, also recently the blackjack.fun release a campaign related to a referral bonus, as you can see on the list there's a BC.Game which is they are offering a huge amount of rewards that you could join. For me referrals is not a waste of time if you know a lot of gambers want to play and you can get a percentage to their deposits or even a rewards that might hit you a good amount of profit.

This are rewarding gambling platforms whose referral bonus are also reliable enough to be trusted, we cannot compare them to other faucets launched to create traffic and loads of surveys and tasks to keep on dealing with and at the end there's nothing to gain for doing them, so i will like to make it clear that not all the faucets are rewarding enough, you will be presented with tasks to do but you may end not being rewarded if the organization or the operators aren't trustworthy, they may not reward you at the end except for few among them that are reliable to be trusted as you've mentioned from the recommendations you gave.
1245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about paper wallets on: July 12, 2023, 12:04:19 PM
If I have a paper wallet that has .001 btc, could this be worthless in the future because when I sweep the funds the fee is so high?

There's nothing impossible with what you hodl when it comes to bitcoin, maybe over time when the bitcoin market would have surge higher than expected, it would have worth more amount than you left there, you may also make some additional deposits to be able to withdraw or send them together after you would have been using it

How about if I have a paper wallet with .005 btc, assuming it was funded with 5 separate transactions of .001

They don't make deposit or withdrawal charges like the banks do when using a bitcoin wallet, you would have known the rate you will be charged as transaction fee before making the transaction,
1246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I waste bitcoin on: July 12, 2023, 11:18:04 AM
one day I lost my device and that's how I lost the seed phase and the wallet. Am imagining if I could have recover my wallet today, I will be a big boy with fat wallet.

What a silly mistake, were you not told to keep your keys safe that such is what you will beed to have access to your coins on the blockchain, if he didn't inform you about keys and how important they were as the fund itself then he has the little fault to receive blame but if he already told or warned you about it, then it's your fault and it will be good for you to always put that in mind that not your keys means not your coins

Do you think another person have access to it?

It's there on the blockchain, am imagining what amount it would have turned to by now, it's just like you holding the coins on your wallet, buy if it were to be that the fund was sent to a wrong address, the coins will be lost and distributed back across the bitcoin network.
1247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before contributing, learn from others as a newbie on: July 12, 2023, 10:19:22 AM
With my observation, many newbie are merit conscious to the point of posting low quality posts not because they are not good but because they are rushing to see people start giving them merit.

It's something that's common for you to see people easily getting attracted to flashy things of which merit is one of the most hunted for as long as a newbie discover about the system except for few who don't mind or care in that regard, if i want to introduce the forum to a newbie, i will not start by telling them about the merits system, i will rather go ahead to let them understand bitcoin and get established being active before introducing them to how they can grow in ranks as long as they remain active on the forum and have the determination for learning and growth, some things are not best introduced to newbies when they are yet to be predicted, such may just distract them from being focused.

If I have not join this forum and learn about Cryptocurrency in detail. I never knew there is a big difference between bitcoins and the shitcoins.

Don't conclude that every other cryptocurrencies aside bitcoin are shitcoins, there are reputable ones amidst them, while some are not.

I once thought one can invest in any of them and wait for profit not knowing that shitcoins can hit the rock at any moment and vanish into the air.

Some cryptocurrencies have been existing a decade now and still counting because of the developers that created the coins, some investors have made alot of profitability with some of these altcoins in time past, what we lack is proper research on a crypto project, maybe henceforth now you begin to call other cryptocurrencies altcoins and not shitcoins because not all of them resulted to scam.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 11, 2023, 01:36:38 PM
But a person who wants entertainment and can accept financial loss for fun can learn about gambling and gain gambling ideas.
No one is capable of financial loss. Anyone that says he or she is gamble of financial loss is only lying and you should not believe them. Just use the amount of money you can lose and not able to affect financial life and your life generally should be the amount of money that you should use for gambling.

All these that some of the gamblers take as very important for them to gamble and make money will at the end be treated as financial losses to them because they were unable to make their targets being accomplished, those kind of people don't want more from gambling than to use it to earn a living and the only moment you see them seing gambling as fun is when they are winning and if not, they will always be sad or sobber, the earlier we all agree on what gambling means the earlier we take our minds off the risk we often take while gambling thinking that we will always win.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 11, 2023, 01:16:15 PM
What other way to recognize a responsible gambler if not by discipline. When a gambler lacks the discipline to control his gambling habit that it then degenerate to addiction same can't easily quit or get out of it unless by same discipline

It is very important that a gambler should learn how to maintain a disciplined lifestyle in his gambling experience in general aspect, being disciplined will help him to know what to do at the right time and how to engage doing such without other things around him being affected, this may also include an effective time management, priority schedule, plans, monetary budget and doing other things that could help have an additional source of income without one being affected by the other.

If we wanna be responsible gamblers it calls for discipline, same with when we feel the need to quit discipline is still employed in doing so and not just about having something to distract or schedule yourself with order than gambling.

It takes a determination to make a decision on being disciplined because it's not that easy to achieve, if we want to be disciplined, then we will have to involve other additional means to help us cope with that kind of a lifestyle, if all efforts were applied towards this, there may be more positive indications for a gradual change.
1250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know an account has been blacklisted or put on ignored. on: July 11, 2023, 12:53:46 PM
why it is difficult to gain merits as it is looks like am stuck or on ignored or blacklisted.

You're not receiving Merits isn't because you're being ignored by users because obviously not all the merits sources or members of the forum will have to ignore you at the same time, you're not receiving merits because your posting pattern, quality and contents aren't attractive enough for anyone to find them worth the standard for receiving merits, if i were you, am going to work on myself, i will not assumed I've known anything yet in other to help me work on other areas of me that i needed to improve on.

Can someone please help me know how I determine if my account is on ignored list, or blacklist?

Do you really need to know if your account is on a blacklist or ignored? As long as you're not a scammer or a shitposter there's no need to worry yourself, also if you should know who blacklisted you what will you do? beg the personor or dislike the person? Being on someone's ignore list is nothing harm to you or your reputation, you can also try to ignore any user you feels like, this has nothing to do with merits, improve your quality post and your chances of getting merits increases as well.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doubts about buying digital currency, any suggestions? on: July 11, 2023, 11:07:09 AM
How to buy Bitcoin? Since I see CEX like BN has quit, I'm really worried about trading in CEX.

Does anyone have suggestions? How to buy and where to buy, or is it the right time to trade?

You can make use of a centralized exchange like Binance if you're interested in buying through a centralized exchange, we also have decentralized exchanges whereby you can also buy your bitcoin through p2p, but what i will not advise is for you to hodl your bitcoin on a centralized exchange for long, if you use them in trading bitcoin then let your asset be on a decentralized exchange and leave only just little on a centralized exchange, here are few tips you may also needed while going for exchanges or learning about how to trade.

1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: A safe haven in times of economic recession? on: July 10, 2023, 01:10:09 PM
We are all investing on bitcoin because we want to make use of the chances of getting our digital asset more secured and profitable, when we invest in bitcoin, we can easily go to sleep with our eyes closed and leave the investment to stay long over the time to yield more of its kind, in this same way, we cannot concluded that bitcoin is a safe haven for financial crisis or scam, rather a means of having our investment secured for maximum profitability within some period of time, we can also consider how the market economy of the traditional currency is going, bitcoin isn't affected by inflation or any government implementation policy to determine how it works, the more the economy run under the fear or recession the stronger the bitcoin network becomes as a safe haven over recession because it is decentralized, profitable and inflation free.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive thoughts and attitude towards Bitcoin. on: July 10, 2023, 12:40:02 PM
I think Bitcoin will be more valuable in the next few years and maybe it will reverse but I have confidence I hold it. When investing in something there is always risk involved. I think risk is the possibility of gaining or losing something valuable.

During the early years when bitcoin was invented and many were introduced into this new digital currency and technology, some doubted that how possible could this be and so on, those that accepted and invested never regret making their decision for once, the advice I will give you is to build more courage on what you already have been taught about bitcoin and make more research on the past events on bitcoin from how it started to where it was today, this will be the best motivation that can keep you moving ahead towards the better futures that are yet to get unfolded about bitcoin because we will soon be arriving at another all time high soon.

Those that were afraid all these years will always remain on the same spot while you taking decision and risk on bitcoin will always have better opportunities over them that sit down and fold their hands watching, now is the time you're paying for it worth by taking the risk, when it's time for maturition, you will enjoy the benefits of holding a bitcoin investment.
1254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC on: July 10, 2023, 12:05:01 PM
Good morning is there a site where you can sell your bitcoins with individuals without going through the exchange

I will advise you to also try to know the current value of what you're selling in terms of reference prize you will be receiving from any buyer in other for you not to be cheated, there's a way some do manipulated the price and make some little changes to adjust to market price, i will advise you always check the current market value before pushing forward, as you've been already advised, take a look at some members of this forum who does that or you make use of a decentralized exchanges as listed from the above link provided to you.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why research is crucial to a good experience - Tips from a decade-old Bitcoiner on: July 10, 2023, 11:43:48 AM
5. Unless you truly support an altcoin, stay out of that area. No shitcoins for you unless you understand what you’re doing

There was a time you bought shitcoins. Maybe it’s now. I’ve been there and done that too, and this was one of the mistakes I made.
  • Especially nowadays, investing in shitcoins is a very bad idea. You need to be up to date 24/7 with it. Who knows? Tomorrow it could be a rug pull. Or they may be transitioning to a v2 contract. Or they’ve been hacked. It’s very simple - you stay behind, you lose your coins.

Those found investing with the so called shitcoins didn't know that's what will turn to be the outcome of thier decision to invest on any how project they have no information about, it's normal that you see a project and you have the interest to develop trust in them by what they say they are here to provide, it the project succeeded then you scale through and make your profits, if they fail in their project then you termed them a shitcoin, this now brings a conclusion of putting altcoins under two categories base on their inventors, the scam projects and the genuine ones but which turned a failure along the line, the truth is all these are not encountered if you choose bitcoin for an investment.

  • Price matters, right? Because say the truth or not, we’re here for the money too - at least partially. How many times has your shitcoin made you money? How quickly does a bull run end, how abruptly? Now look at Bitcoin’s charts. If for a shitcoin you need immediate action or you lose the peak because most action happens in a matter of minutes, Bitcoin moves big but slow.

This is very true about other cryptocurrencies when they are fast rising, the quicker they rise the faster the fall the same direction, some to manage to escape this if they are very smart enough in knowing that their uptime is very short and they needed to take a quick action, those that tarry more with the mindset of hitting their utmost priority and target eventually end up loosing the more they are waiting, so why should we keep bothering ourselves on what has higher risk than the gain we are to benefit from it at the end, bitcoin is still the best to invest always because there's no fear of missing out, if it's drops today it will certainly rise the other time.

1257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: July 08, 2023, 02:14:51 PM
A friend of mine came to me and we were having a conversation and I was trying to introduce he to the forum, but he turns out that I was asked if I really trust and believe in bitcoin it will never crash like other cypto industry.

I want know if it will not crash and I need help to convince him about it that it will not crash because am a beginner and I haven't know much about bitcoin so I guess been here I will fine help to assist my friend to join the forum.
What's the reason you want to introduce your friend to Forum and bitcoin despite the resistance? It's not a must to force anyone into what you're doing. Investing in bitcoin is by choice and not coercion. The only role you have to play in that regard is to offer them explanation on how it works and the risk involved as well and that's only if they interested in such conversation again. Do not go about telling people you are bitcoin investor as it's not fully legalized in all countries.

Again, you're not in a referral contest. Do not compel anyone to register on the forum against their wish. Besides, one can visit the forum as a guest and have access to read everything here with the exemption of offering their own opinions.

We have to act our own part kn trying to introduce this forum to some but immediately we see that it's becoming something else beyond we planned for then we should avoid going further, after one would have talked alot about bitcoin to them, it's also something that they should be left alone to have time to rethink about it and look into it more closely by making their personal research as an addition efforts not to fall hands of scammers, you can't force a person when he's yet to be determined for bitcoin adoption, except they show interest for tou to push forward.
1258  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The danger of gender inequality on: July 08, 2023, 01:57:43 PM
Don't be surprised there are people that still emulate the practice of this gender inequity in the society, some cultures and traditions so make much of this difference more known and widespread across their geographical location all because of customs, there should be equal opportunities for everyone be it male or female, young or old, this will also help a peaceful coexistence between the people living together in the society.
1259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is justice really blind? on: July 08, 2023, 01:42:14 PM
Friends let's do small judiciary work and legal advice this morning. A woman was accused of killing her husband, his body was never found and she was sentenced. Years after serving her jail term, she found out the man is living with another woman.

Being the wife and the first person to be suspected, they have no right to jail her without having any concrete reason that serves as an evidence, there are maby cases of disappearance whereby after along while they discover the lost was not dead but only missing and some got found at the end of it, there could be many reasons to what led to his disappearance and except they have a cognit reason to proof that the wife is behind the incident then it's very wrong to sentence her.

She went and shot the man several times and he died for real this time around and she was re-arrested for the same murder on the same person.

In doing this, she does not only qualify for a jail terms, she should also taste dead as the same experience on her just as she later did to her husband, which means there might be serious dispute that led to the disappearance at first and later after the discovery of the husband being alive, the wife must have gone so far in some dealings that could go wrong as against the wish of her husband and the only way she will want her secrets not to get exposed is to kill him, but she would have thought about appealing as well.

As a judge what will you do ?

The will also taste death, after which we have gone through a recap of the whole story and what transpired that led to the man's disappearance, but the judge also have little fault as mistake in this, she deserves not to be sentenced from the first place, maybe they may have mercy on her by giving her a lifetime imprisonment in compensation for the first jail terms she received.
1260  Other / Off-topic / Re: When learning stops. on: July 08, 2023, 12:40:57 PM
This topic made sense to me as at the time of writing this and I want to use it to encourage and uplift anyone here who is feeling stuck while learning a new skill or has lost the zeal to continue, please reinvent to refire.

Learning is not what comes on a platter of gold, we work towards it and gives all the necessary demands it requires, but how many people are truly ready to pay the required sacrifice that comes throughout the process of learning, being a newbie here on the forum, there are things that are expected of you to start with and learning is the first procedures because you have to get used to the rules, know about bitcoin, understand how the forum operates and learn to have tolerance because you will be coming across diverse people from all over the world.

One way to stay on learning to the end when stuck or stagnant at a point, should be to divert attention to another interest.

Though we cannot conclude that every newbies that aren't active on the forum are stagnant about learning because they have different purpose of coming to the forum, some only register to help them have access to making a post in other to receive a response they needed an answer to and left after then, while some will find it worth interesting to stay in and continue to learn.
