SELL your home and invest on double site and you can buy 2 home  Cheesy

I remember there was a poker player that in the last round of a poker tournament he betted his entire home on the round.

Now luckily he won, but imagine if he had lost it. Some gamblers are just not affected by risk...
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 22, 2015, 02:19:11 PM
Gold is supported by governments and rich individuals who like power and control.

Bitcoin at the moment in the big scheme of things is a small market cap minor distraction to these people.  Should it start to grow to a point where the people above feel threatened or start to loose some power or control they will simply ban Bitcoin.

Some may say you cant ban bitcoin etc. but if the government do decide to ban it a large % of population will cease to use it preventing it becoming mainstream causing the price to crash.

Russia and China are buying gold as quick as they get their hands on it for a reason, the same cant be said for BTC

They cannot ban it anymore, i mean it has passed the "ban singularity" at this point the only thing they can do is to tax it or regulate it. Or atleast try doing those.

They cant ban it because more then 80.000 merchants use it, and we got a strong lobby community + politicians already ask "campaign donations" in bitcoin, so my impression is that they like Bitcoin, because anonymity is good for them too.

1245  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 22, 2015, 02:13:55 PM
just dont save your mone on banks as we now that you gonna losing you money bexause inflataion Cheesy
It won't lose if you keep it until it can earn an interest because your money lose if you only save in bank just in a few years. Its takes a lot of time to earn a profit from interest. But its better to save in bitcoin because your coins or money are excepted to inflation.

While the current inflation is higher than the interest, in fact you will "loose some money"; in the sense that the profit from the interest is actually less than the loss of spendable income is (due to inflation).

However, that does not make saving money on a bank useless: be sure you always have some money as a back-up when something goes wrong; like unexpected costs.

Well its like draining money from your bank account with a draining machine. It is slow but eventually your account will be left empty...

"Use a faucet that pays once/hour , 1000 satoshi/prize , for a 1000 satoshi/hour income (LESS WORK,LESS MONEY)"

make a sense less work less money  Grin

People are probably lazy but not that lazy to earn nothing, so they are just lazy to work alot, but they need money.

Makes perfect sense, less work less money.
1247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: June 22, 2015, 02:08:30 PM

1248  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: June 22, 2015, 02:07:37 PM
Takeover by financial and economic means. Asphyxiation by debt upon debt. They should default on the debt as soon as possible, start printing Drachmas, and being creating jobs and rebuilding its economy, and say goodbye to their bureaucrat bosses.

I`m not sure if you exit from 1 puddle you want to enter in the next.

The money printing is the whole problem that made them indebted. Switching currency and doing the thing over again, i`m not sure it would be wise.
1249  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: June 22, 2015, 02:05:04 PM
I really believe there has to be some other sort of other living species out there

Idk i saw a movie once that it says that the sharks are alien, because it doesnt match with the 90% of the genetic material that other living animals, including humans, have.

So they probably come from outer space, or some alien spaceship planted them in the ocean.

1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How secure is the bitcoin code at github? on: June 21, 2015, 09:19:21 PM
how does bitcoin secure the github?
I don't know much about github, but if the code is sitting at github,
what is to stop someone from changing it?

someone please explain this to me, I am interested.

They would need to hack the github server to change to code.

Or they would need to set up a phishing site with modified code.

Or they would need to set up a malware on your PC that would show other code on the site , when you visit it, but only for you.
1254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: June 21, 2015, 09:15:42 PM
Is there some way to earn Bitcoins quickly?

Mining seems to be too far ahead of me, and faucets give out very little.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Some people would say that trading is a form of gambling. While there these two things have something in common, there are also fundamental differences. When you gamble (and assuming that it's a fair game) you have a certain probability of winning and losing. When you trade assets, this gets much more complex. I don't want to go into too much detail here.

Yes you have advantages, in trading if you are first /faster/smarter/less leveraged or more capitalized then your fellow trader, then you can win money,

In gambing, you dont need any skill only luck.
1255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ██ Tutorial: How to keep your Bitcoins 100% secure! ██ on: June 21, 2015, 09:13:56 PM
very good guide. thanks for that.
i want to ask you something. i think about creating address... what if your created wallet has my private key also? i mean is there any chance to create same private key and address?
i want to explain more because my english;
for example; i use 1sT2GVdd3... for a while. and i have 10BTC atm. somebody, who wnats to start BTC create bttc address. and what a lovely... multibit create same address!!! :S is it possible?
The risk of Bitcoin address collision is approximately 1/2^160 address generated. It is more fesible to solomine using a celeron than trying your luck at making an address collsion. You can probably find an address collision if you build billions of ASICs specialised for such operation together with the computing power of the entire world and two suns. However, weak/flawed RNG can cause the address to be predictable. See this, this and this.

Yes that is why that new BIP-XXX or wtf was its name, is used to create deterministic addresses.

So you only need 1 random number as a seed and you can generate a really big hash from that using even a flawed RNG because without the initial seed they cant even find out the flawed mechanism

Random + Nonrandom = Random
Nonrandom+Nonrandom = Nonrandom

Atleast thats how i understand cryptography.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: June 21, 2015, 09:06:26 PM
Put aways 5-10 bitcoins in a secure wallet or paper wallet.

Wait until you hit 55-60 , check the bitcoin price, and you will be amazed.

It is highly likely that if you buy it now at 200$, by then it will be 5000$, thats a nice retirement plan.

And then just start investing it here and there and live off the dividends.

1258  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Crowdfund] Advertising to help newbies of Bitcoin & the Community on: June 21, 2015, 08:53:40 PM
Awesome initiative, i`m very excited about this. So you are saying you can save many hours of search in Google for newbies? And also help the community stay together?

Now that is a magnificent plan my friend you got there. I also know many newbies only look for get rich quick schemes, so you must fill in their greedy demands. And just by doing this, we can attract many more greedy people into bitcoin and grow our nice community.

I`ll definitely donate to this one, but i`m currently broke, so please wait little bit Smiley

We wished to inform you about all the developments going on.

I love RPG games, sometimes playing it when I`m bored.

I have an ancient wish, that i always wanted , and missed in RPG games.
I dont care about the graphics that much usually, but what I care is that make it so that we can trade ingame, so that we can create a virtual economy inside the game.

For example: We go on a quest with a warrior, we hunt animals and monsters, then we get items, which we can sell for other players, in return for BITCOIN.

Thus we can create an inside economy, a virtual one, in the game itself.

It might boost the GDP of Bitcoin, and attract the gaming community too.

Can you pull this off OP?
