1241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: January 10, 2018, 08:26:17 PM
We see price rise and plunge so often in the cryptocurrency market as a result of the volatility and it's some concern to have to just look on, while there're lots of money on the table as the exchanges apparently do not offer ways to profit from falling markets. In the light of that, I recently started paying closer attention to Tether - USDT and my discovery is that, with some understanding of how "pair trading in forex trade" works, one can come up with ways to short a falling market.

For instance with BTC-USDT, on confirmation that a top have been formed and price about to reverse, one can buy USDT and wait to buy back BTC at cheaper rate. Happy trading!
1242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: January 10, 2018, 04:22:20 PM
Whether it be buying btc or buying equipment to mine btc. Did you ever borrow fiat to make your purchase? I have not. Just curious if anyone ever has.
Going by the fact that these technologies and markets are still evolving, a handful of uncertainties along the way are not unlikely, so having to borrow money that would attract interest would need a second and thorough thought, so that worse case scenarios can be factored into the final decision making. Folding one's alms is however not a choice, because nothing venture, nothing gain!
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin Down? on: January 10, 2018, 03:54:22 PM
bitcoin drops because of the reduced number of people who buy and invest in bitcoins. today many people are investing in altcoin because the amount of altcoin supply more than bitcoin.
At the moment the reason is that lots of the investors are moving towards Bitcoin Cash because they feel that bitcoin core doesn't have any future especially when the developers are on the fence about implementing changes to the block size.
If your line of reasoning were in sync, one would have expected to see the price of Bitcoin crashing way down to below the $10,000 price mark, but last time I checked, the price have been ranging between $12,000 and $17,000 and any seasoned trader would see that as normal and expected - markets usually enter into a correction after some significant movements up or down. It can be likened to the market catching a breather, before deciding on its next move!
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: January 10, 2018, 03:24:10 PM
Bitcoin is a global payment system and its decentralized nature makes it all the more attractive to criminally minded people, but we cannot be saying these crimes were unheard of until Bitcoin came on board some 9 years ago. What's fact is that a criminal remains a criminal with or without Bitcoin unless and until they change fundamentally. This situation is one such cases of seeing a half filled cup, as half empty, because looking around anyone can find a million and one ways Bitcoin is very useful!

Yes bitcoin is used by the criminals, thats why people are having big time and using this for crimes and investing for their weapons or ilegal works

Ofcourse the criminals are take advantages of bitcoin . They are using bitcoin for purchase dangerous weapons and also transfer money for their criminal activities.

Can you guys really substantiate those claims or is all about talk being cheap? I think you guys might want to refrain from assertion  of things you can't proof!
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie bounty manager on: January 10, 2018, 02:19:12 PM
I don't think all are scams but they have no knowledge or less knowledge about managing campaing. We have to read and justify about their campaign.
It sure requires knowledge and experience to be able to function effectively as a bounty manger and that is one thing a newbie cannot readily boast of, except if it be an alternate account, but which then raises a red flag for something fishy. A developer not quite used to how bounties are managed should be able to hire a bounty manager, insisting on taking his/her chance can be a pointer to lack of faith in the project.
1246  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: January 06, 2018, 09:44:56 PM
Why not? I think a lot of countries including US are looking into Bitcoin and considering their options in terms of how to incorporate this technology into their governments and political systems. And also how to get the people on board, because that could be very hard.
Recognizing, incorporating and even legalizing Bitcoin ought not to be confused with becoming a national currency. A national currency is a symbol and an instrument of control governments across the globe put to use in the control of affairs of their various countries and that makes Bitcoin, which is borderless, decentralized and censorship resistant a misfit, no country would be willing to accord the status of their national currency.

Japan by legalizing  Bitcoin for instance, did not have to undermine the Yen, which remains their national currency.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: January 06, 2018, 07:47:55 PM
Hello! i want to save money while playing gambling game but i cant really do it because i am really addicted to bitcoin still i have small amount of money to save in my wallet but in the next day i spend it for gambling because i'll always lose in gambling games can someone help me with saving in my wallet and play gambling games at the same time.
A thing worthy of note is that any problem identified, becomes as good as half solved. In this context, your problem is the addiction to gambling and not Bitcoin as the later would have meant a strong appetite for accumulation of Bitcoin but which is far from your reality.

What I can make of the whole situation, is that you're looking at gambling as a means of
making money, which is what prompts you to keep going at it, hope against hope! My suggestion then for saving money while gambling, is to make certain you realize it's far easier to lose it all in gambling than to gain a dime. Subsequently, you shall be having to ask and admonish yourself if you could really afford to lose even those small amounts as you called them. A penny saved, is a penny earned!

1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [IMPORTANT UPDATE]: C | 15 BITCOINS TO SHARE [Bounty Thread] on: January 02, 2018, 07:41:04 PM
But i have to ask this one simple question, why the moderator still keep this thread open is what i understand, the OP already had so much bad rating yet still keeps updating thread has he please, Why havn't the thread short down if they believe it to be scam?
It is supposedly left open because there seem to be increasing number of nitwits now in this forum than ever before, perhaps they are now wise? What an elderly person sees while sitting down, a child would not be able to see even he claims a mountain.

1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not Money, is Faith on: December 31, 2017, 11:48:29 AM
Bitcoin is nt money it is faith it is religion it is occult science it is mania it is more than technology and money in real
Looks to me you're probably unable to grasp the huge followership Bitcoin enjoys and the fact that it keeps waxing stronger each passing day even in the face of the one too many disagreeable situations before it and for that you think it must be a supernatural phenomenon. I think you might want to know that Bitcoin unlike all forms of money before it, never brought as much convenience and freedom to the table as Bitcoin does and given that people have long been yearning for a change in our money systems until they found one in Bitcoin and they're reaching out with both hands. One thing should be certain, things are just getting started!

1255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: December 30, 2017, 10:32:18 AM
I think the best thing that we can do to prevent our fear in trading is close the browser after we buy and don't turn on our computer for a few days or weeks and we should do another thing to not focus or remember on what coin we bought. then after a few days, we can come back and turn on our computer to see is there any good news from our coin or not and if it is no good news, then we need to turn off again our computer and come back in other days. at least this is work for me when I am afraid of what will happen with one or more coin I bought because I cannot collect much info about the coin.
Am afraid turning off ones trading platform or computer wouldn't do so much more than raising one's adrenaline, because to contain the restlessness that's sure to follow, is but another heavier burden. I think a more soothing approach to go about buy and hold, would be to first and foremost separate one's living expenses from whatever is to be invested. Doing otherwise can actually be an open invitation to FUD and all the nerve raking that goes with it. More importantly, equipping oneself with the history and latest development in the market of interest as well as goings-on in the entire ecosystem, is a must, to not be found wanting when adjustments become necessary, especially when one does not already have a deep pocket.
1256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: December 30, 2017, 08:44:27 AM
The Cryptocurrency system always volatile because the price of cryptocurrency always depend market. It's no one manage it and no one can predict it. It's alway run with the market activities. This is that make trading with cryptocurrency giving more than fiat currency.
Until there comes to be real life use of cryptocurrencies, volatility can never be discounted from the markets because it  would only take a few moves by a whale or a group of them to bend the market in their desired direction. For now, the markets are unavoidably calm because of uncertainties of what would become of the markets as the year ends and another by the corner.
1257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's up with arbitrage on: December 30, 2017, 07:59:25 AM
If you already have 2 verified account on 2 different exchanges whichTV allows you to deposit or withdraw a fiat currency, it's possible to do arbitrage trading. But, the most common problem are: Bitcoin transactions require high fees and may takes hours to be confirmed, exchanges has high fees for withdraw fiat currency or send bitcoin. Hence, you need big capital to earn profits.
That happens to be the true picture of things as having verified accounts and some substantial amounts in a number of exchanges would have been a way out of the disagreeable situations, but the exhobitant withdrawal fees being charged by most exchanges leaves little to be desired.

One might want to guide against leaving  significant amounts of fund with exchanges because that has been turning out undoing traders and investors  than even ponzi schemes.
1258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Beginning of the End? on: December 30, 2017, 06:05:42 AM
THE U.S is claming down on Crypto and no U.S citizen can partake in most ICOS because of the SEC, making it veyr hard for Americans to get into new ICOS. They are doing this just like the CHINESE, protectionist policies to save their own central bank backed currencies but I see many countries embracing digital currencies and advocating it so I hope we grow in market capitalization over the next five years.
Those policies are not set on stone and once the trend the trend to bypass the dollar in the oil market becomes mainstream, you will see the U.S. taking bold steps to be in the fore front of the industry unlike their lacklustre disposition at the moment and all can agree, that would be good news for the cryptocurrency world. This must be it when it was said, Bitcoin is a revolution the faulty model fiat currencies were built on have done so much harm already with the inequity it breeds.

Nice looking casino site, signed up as Victorycoin!

Tested the European Roulette and was impressive! Can you throw more light on what the minimum bet amounts are for the 3 Roulette tables?

Victorycoin - Yes, done.

Minimum bet on the tables (inside and outside bets) - 0.01 mBTC.
Here is the rules for "ROULETTE WITH INCREASED PAYOUT 36:1" where you can play without house edge:

Thanks for the 0.3 mBTC gift and it's nice to see my roulette gaming skills have not gone rustic! Here is what I was able to do with the gift, was nevertheless a tough bout, just that Roulette is my favorite game:

To test what the withdrawal processes would be looking like and amidst no commission to be paid by player for now, I have placed a withdrawal for the 10.5 xBTC, let see how it goes!
