I do not think 10,000 is a possibility. By the time some form of digital currency comes along where it will be worth that bitcoin will have been replaced by something better. A thousand or 2 I feel is the market cap.

Just curious if there are any miners worth buying or if I would be better off just buying coin at these prices. I have 3 S1's running and was thinking of adding 3 more since they are only about $400 each. I was trying to hold out for the S2's but buy the time i could get it, i would have the S1's mining for a couple weeks. Any opinions?
THe S2s I do not see returning an ROI, neither the S1s. I personally just sold my S1 miner because the amount of btc it makes in a day is getting pretty pathetic (0.016) compared to when I started (0.032). I sold it for more than I will ever further mine on the device. I would not recommend either with the new bumps in difficulty that is going to happen due to the new 1th+ miners coming in full force now.

Mining with mh today is pointless. You need at least a few hundreds of gh to make serious bitcoin but for small amounts about 20-30gh/s will do. Mining with gpus or any computer parts with bitcoin is long gone. Either mine altcoins and gamble with them like others said or invest in big miners (although the ROI on these are not looking good at all).

A lot of them look very fishy and sketchy but some are interesting. I too would like people's opinions on the more reliable ones.

cheap hardware in what aspect. The only miners that can even have a small chance of ROI are the 1th miners and above now. Those are pretty expensive for the average user now and so far even the antminer s2 does not look profitable or that it will even come close.

I signed up but realized there are no USA numbers please consider adding them that will definitely increase your business significantly.

The key to successful bitcoin mining currently is resale. If you can get the miner at a reasonable price mine with it for a few weeks then resell it you might be able to make a profit (probably small with the price of btc and difficulty). Like many others said most miners are banking on the btc price to go up significantly and are holding the coin (myself included) to make a decent profit. If the btc price stays the same or goes down another hundred profit will not be made on any personal miner.

I have made 2 purchases through cryptothrift using their escrow service and the sellers did indeed give what they promised. I personally think its NOT a scam. Think of it like Ebay.
I do not think he is saying this site is a scam. I have purchased and sold multiple items on this site with no problems. The support is pretty good however I do feel the site needs some improvement and the altcoins may be an issue but I only accept bitcoin anyway so doesn't affect me. I am personally glad they allow multiple altcoins to be accepted (although their may be too many litecoin namecoin and bitcoin would be sufficient)

Just come across an alternative service... cash4minutes.com Same idea i think.
This service looks great i am definitely going to give it a try. thanks for the info. Hopefully coinbycall will accept USA soon again. UPDATE: Just realized there are no USA numbers so same situation

That price is crazy and I am not sure how real it is seems suspicious considering most are selling on ebay for 400-700 right now

Most people are playing it like an exchange and the mining gh can just be viewed as interest
|
|
|
Currently the 1th+ miners are being built and "tested" which means the majority of them are still in the manufacturer aka private hands. This is causing the huge hash rate increase and unfortunately does not help us

I received 3 payment requests similar to you guys from mailinator. I talked to support and they said somehow they got our email and just can use that to send requests. Just decline the requests and no harm done. When I first logged in i was a little nervous but no big deal they spammed out coinbase like they would your email

you have to be extremely persistent with them. I had a problem similar to yours with bitcoin instead of litecoin. I had to bother them in other ways besides their support tickets but eventually they resolved it after about 7-8 days

I have about 4-5 $5 amazon gift cards for sale. Looking to get the bitstamp price at time of transaction minus 10%. escrow is fine as long as you pay any fees. Feel free to ask me any questions.

please leave the forum if all you are going to do is try and scam. Most people are not scammers and this site has been very helpful for many

Every single cry about Coinbase = user error. Thousands of transactions here, 0 issues. Hrmm same no problems that were not resolved quickly with them and even then the problems were very few. Overall I am glad coinbase is here since its the only reliable source for USA. Their support response team respond quickly compared to sites like btc-e

Hi is pbmining.com a good alternative to CEX.IO ?? I don't think that this is a scam, have anyone experience with this company? The Price is cheap, for 1Gh you have to pay 0,0075BTC I have been using both for a while now and I can say they are both good but are not related to each other. CEX is more of an exchange where the end goal is to buy low and sell high. If you just mine at cex it will never end up well for you since the price per gh is never reasonable. I am one of the first 30 customers at pbmining and can say their prices are much more reasonable and an ROI is somewhat more attainable but you can not resell those gh. Both sites are legitimate its just up to your personal preference.

Thanks for the update glad the asking fees were reduced to something much more reasonable.
