Crazy, who would have expected an Iranian win before the start of the tournament. In the last group match against the USA, there is now even a realistic chance of advancing to the round of 16. People have been saying lots of awful things about Lionel Messi and Argentina, they think Argentina won't get past the group stage because they lost to a team that is not a football nation, but for me that shouldn't be an issue because Argentina has what it takes to turn this around, they still have Poland and Mexico to play, for me they are better than these two, I believe this team can pass the group stages, losing a very important player like lo celso is a big lose to the south American champions but I hope they can replace what he brings to the team.

what you say is true, it's hard to guess who will win the world cup this time, surprises happen everywhere, even in the last match Portugal vs Ghana, we saw surprises happen at the end of the match, 5 goals were scored there (3 goals Portugal and 2 goals Ghana). Asian teams win are not so favored compared to teams from the Americas or Europe but surprises can appear in this world cup. For me its wierd that it was 0-0 at halftime and full time 3-2. I watched the first half was pretty bad football and in second its like new teams came on the pitch. Portugal barely won and o most we had another surprise in the world cup but Portugal took a win. this was a crushing result, spain showed that it is a strong team that wants to fight to win the world cup, so far spain and france are the only teams that have impressed me, i don't know what brazil's posture will be when they play, but for now I consider spain and frank as the best teams and with the best chances of reaching the world cup final, especially spain that has an excellent attack

Very impressive by Spain’s young guns tonight in their first game, 7-0 wow. They’ll have much tougher tests to come but you can only beat what is in front of you. Can’t get much more convincing than a 7-0 win. Germany play Spain next in Group E, after their shock loss to Japan they are in deep trouble. Could be an early exit for the much fancied Germans if they lose to a very impressive Spain.
Spain with this win has a huge goal difference that will mean really a lot in the upcoming matches. After they seen that Germany lost they went full power against Costa Rica and could have scored a couple of more goals,Costa Rica are just lost and dont know even how they ended up at the World cup honestly. |

I didn't like Poland's performance even a bit. They were the underdog according to bookmakers maybe but I was still expecting a decent effort by them. There was just only one shot on target by Poland. Lewandowski missed a penalty and maybe they missed a big chance to get a win against Mexico. Mexico found many goal opportunities but couldn't make use any.
Lewandowski's fails in big games are still seen and people are still making memes out of them on the internet. I wonder when he will be able to fix this problem and start playing better in big games. It has been like that at Barcelona so far and it is still going on in the World Cup as well.
Poland really looked bad, Mexico was better today but not by far,they even got lucky because Lewandowski missed that penalty. The defeat suffered by Argentina was surprising and not something that many football lovers even sports betting lovers think, I don't know how many would dare to bet on Saudi Arabia to win because if I'm not mistaken the odds are around 6.00, I don't dare to do that even choose Argentina to win because I prefer over 2.5 and grateful it ended well.

An easy win today for djokovic against casper Ruud he looked so dominant all tournament long, there no doubt he is the best performer at the moment he has beaten all the top players, too bad nadal didn't made it far so we could see the novak nadal classic.
Novak Djokovic won in the direct sets 7-5 6-3 which looks like the first set going closer. In the second set Ruud have given up. An easy win for Novak Djokovic and he once again proved he's the lead with the 6th ATP Finals Crown. Like i said yesterday this would be the easiest match for Novak Djokovic and it was. He won easily in straight sets against Ruud that wasnt even close to a break point in this match. Ruud still was in the final and that is a huge result. Novak Djokovic can now rest up and focus on Australian open that is in over 1 month. |

Will this be another season that Lakers fail in even qualifying for playoffs?
Considering the current level of performance, they are really going that way for now. They are the second worst team in the Western Conference after Rockets now. Lebron is giving his best in every single game as usual. Now he has got a thigh injury and missed three games because of it already. If they have another very poor season then I assume Lebron might think of leaving in case he gets a reasonable offer. He is already waiting for playing beside his son and the team don't matter for him I assume.
Maybe it's too early but I would rule out Lakers already. I don't think they can make play-offs under these circumstances. They are closer to lottery discussions instead of play-off spots. They need to do rebuilding. Of course, that's unlikely to happen when LeBron and Westbrook are still on the team. In fact, if we look at the names, they have a good squad, but the game they play is not like that at all. The bad start of lakers has a bad effect on their overall season but i think the can make it somehow to the playoffs or at least to the play in. They need to find a new trade fast and a younger player that can make an impact on their games. I would be sharing the odds for most of the fifa world cup matches as it will be easy for you people to decide whom to bet on and how gambling houses think who is favorite. I have been doing this successfully in the cricket thread and i am hopeful it will add value here too. I take these odds from stake.com but i believe that odds are more or less similar across all gambling platforms.  I would be betting on a draw in this match. It can be risky but 3.10 is a good odd. I don't have confidence that the host nation could win this match  The odds are so interesting in this case but when I look at Ecuador's odds and odds, I prefer to be in Ecuador's betting on this. Even though Qatar is definitely in full support but seeing their condition with Ecuador I feel this will be a win for Ecuador. Odds conditions of 3.10 for a draw are indeed very good but seeing that Ecuador's odds are quite good now with their condition which incidentally is better, I personally prefer to take the risk of being in Ecuador. Victor Osimhen is a big target right now and it is sure to be difficult for those teams that are not performing very well to get him. Obviously, when he has the option to move to Real Madrid, he’s not planning to choose Manchester United right now. Or maybe not even Chelsea at this moment because Chelsea are not doing well right now either. Real Madrid seems to be the most logical place to sign, even though he has competition, Karim Benzema.
However, I think that a move to Real Madrid would be the most appropriate option for his future. I mean, if he can show a good performance and in a short period of time, Karim Benzema retires from Real Madrid or moves away from Real Madrid, then Osimhen will be the main man in Real Madrid after him. If he goes to Real Madrid, he can be the striker for many years because Benzema is now 34 years old and maybe he will not be there in 2 years. Osimhen is only 23 years old and has a long career ahead of him. He's playing incredibly well in Napoli, I don't think he will stay there for another season. If Napoli becomes the champion this year, it would be a great success story, but if Real Madrid wants you, you are unlikely to say no. In England, bids from teams other than Manchester City cannot compete with Real Madrid. Since City has no such plans, the chances of other teams to sign Osimhen are lower. Osimhen will be able to be the next Karim Benzema in Real Madrid if he does decide to go to Real Madrid in my opinion. I think that’s very true. If he goes to Real Madrid, he will have to sit around for at least one season. After that, he will be able to get regular chances in the Real Madrid squad. But if he decides to go to Real Madrid after one year, I think at that time Real Madrid might find another player and not be interested in him anymore. I dont think that Napoli will let Osimhen leave this season,maybe in the summer transfer window but not now. He is too important for the team and is giving them huge results and this is the season they can finally win the serie a and go really far in the champions league aswell. |

I really don't like the show that is being put by the so called favorites in these international friendlies! This afternoon was watching Belgium play Egypt, am sorry to say but this was disappointing to watch... I expected the players to put up a good show for the coach to pick them in the starting 11 but it was a shit show, maybe they were holding back but now I need a different approach for the Main games to avoid this humiliation.
Yes,really surprised also seeing Belgium lose to Egypt while many people rate them as one of the favorites for the world cup and they truly have world class players like Hazard and Lukaku so most probably in this friendly they didn't take it seriously.I am not saying that Egypt is not strong but surely not at par with the power of a team like Belgium.Another reason maybe their full focus is in the world cup and they do not want to spend much energy in the friendlies when the world cup starts tomorrow. I had a win on Belgium and they dissapointed me already in the first half. I was thinking they might turn it around in the second half but they conceded one more and i knew it was the end. I think even if Ronaldo doesn't do well at the club, he will give a great performance for the country in the World Cup which everyone is waiting for. Later he will join a good club and prolong his football career. Ronaldo has some abilities that no other player has. Maybe we will see his surprise in this World Cup.
Ronaldo will try to prove many people wrong in this world Cup edition. He needs to showcase his talent to land him a big club. But my fear is if he has a bad game it will affect the entire team because he hardly gets benched even when he performs bad. There are exciting players like Andre Silva that the selecao can introduce in case Ronaldo takes his poor season to the world Cup. I wish him a great tournament and hopefully he wins it ahead of Messi I think if Ronaldo scores early in the tournament he will pick up form faster and will look to help out the team. If he dosent score he can go into rage mode and try and force the goal and that is never good. He is their best player and captain so he needs to think about the team so they can go really far in this tournament. |
