1281  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How pessimistic do you feel about the new year of 2023 ? on: December 29, 2022, 01:31:09 PM
Why you need to be pessimistic? even crisis happen in your country, you need to have a good mindset and be productive in order to increase your brand and skills to survive from the crisis. Blame to the government and don't want to work are really dumb because you can't just hope the government will give you donations. Don't forget they're also a human and they need a money too, they could corrupt donation's money.

So, be ready.

Pessimism doesn't mean we'll give up or blame anyone, but honestly, I don't see any growth or recovery for our economy next year.
Of course, the more unstable the economy is, the more we need to try harder and look for opportunities for ourselves because in a crisis there will be a lot of collapses, but it will also create a lot of new millionaires and billionaires. Therefore, crisis is also considered an opportunity if we know how to seize the opportunity.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 29, 2022, 03:18:06 AM
Against Inter in January will be a big test for all the Napoli squad, surely they are aiming for victory because this is important to keep the point difference from other teams large to keep their position safe at the top of the standings, but Inter is not an easy opponent, Inter current position in rank 5 will motivate them to put up a tough fight and gain points to improve their position, the strategy used by the Napoli coach will determine whether they win or only a draw can be obtained and the worst is defeat
exactly it will be THE definitive test for Naples
to demonstrate that they have grown up and become great or that they have remained a strong team but not a great team

for me it can do it
napoli can beat inter

It is extremely crucial that Napoli's team is able to control their nerves so that they can perform well on the field. Well, actually continue in the club competition. I know what everyone is thinking right now. It seems that everyone is very doubtful about their success since they have not performed well towards the latter part of the season in the past. Thus, it is very hard for people to believe that they are not going to do the same thing again this season. It is my belief that when you have a lead like that, you play with confidence and this can transpire into you making smart decisions and achieving your goals.

According to Google's prediction, Napoli has a lower chance of winning against Inter. However, I do not believe that is the case in reality.

And why Lionel Messi is going to go back to Barcelona for some extra competition when he is finding it easy to stay in PSG and winning the Ligue 1 title?
If Messi returns to the Spanish League, he will have to compete with Real Madrid. He has no such problem in France. I totally agree with this thought. He should stay in France and continue to win trophies more easily. If he comes back to Spain, he can make Barcelona top of the league again. I have no doubt about it. But now he is 35 years old. It would be a better choice for his career to compete in more comfortable areas. I don't find it right that he left Paris Saint-Germain FC. I do not consider such a transfer possible. Also, we haven't read any news that Messi is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain FC. In my opinion, this is the most important indicator.
Selling Lionel Messi to Paris Saint Germain, one of which was their poor financial factor at the time, and even now they still have the same problems. Barcelona wanting Lionel Messi back was something to be forced into because it would give them new problems for their finances.
I also feel that he doesn't have to think about anything else now, he has won all the prestigious trophies. Now he just needs to enjoy the rest of his career and play comfortably at Paris Saint Germain. Maybe this is also what Lionel Messi thought when he extended his contract with Paris Saint Germain.

@Ondekinecakabilirim I don’t think competition is the main reason. He was almost forcefully kicked out of Barcelona. He tried to stay in Barcelona. But the situation really prevented him from doing so. And right now he is in a better place and is going to win the league title for basically free. Why would he try to get himself into competition at this age? Even if he does go to other clubs, he’s not going to go back to Barcelona.

@Jody.Drummer I actually agree. They sold Lionel Messi so that they can overcome the financial problems they had but they are still facing the same problem. Barcelona should be ashamed to even ask Lionel Messi to return to Barcelona.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 26, 2022, 10:40:40 AM
The Sri Lankan cricket board will have to increase the budget for LPL. Otherwise, it is not going to be big. And the Sri Lankan people will have to be more interested in the LPL.
Budget is an important issue for the Premier League. At present, it can be seen that in all the leagues which have more budget, those leagues are getting success. What is the reason behind the popularity of IPL today? I deserve the budget is playing a major role in this concern. IPL, BBL, BPL and PSL are the most popular T20 leagues. There are also concerns about whether Sri Lanka will be able to host a big tournament like LPL in the recent situation? as they are surviving in economic crises.

Sri Lanka suffered a lot because of the Coronavirus situation. Because most of the earnings in Sri Lanka came from different tourist sites. And because of Coronavirus, those earnings were absolutely off. I think the Sri Lankan government should look into that aspect first. And I also think that they should not invest too much money in cricket at this moment.

No doubt Budget is important for all leagues and right now things are not favorable in LPL due to political and economical unrest but hopefully as they are developing their system and things are going they will be better and improve but here we have another point as well which could be helpful for the other countries as well as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka can do jointly Premier League with seven or eight teams this will increase their fan base and budget as well and both countries will be able to have better facilities and marketing which will be also helpful for them as well.

Right now IPL is biggest and no one can compete with them, but they can increase their marketing and fan base which will helpful for this region as well because then just one league will be helpful instead of having two different and things could be better manageable for these both countries as well.

Budget is obviously important but at the same time, we also have to keep in mind that Sri Lanka is not in a very good economic situation right now. So they will have to invest in everything very carefully. That cannot invest in any loss project right now. So it will be better for the Sri Lankan government to invest in something that will bring them a good amount of money and I don't see the LPL being that kind of investment right now.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: You Missed ETH, Missed BNB, Please Don't Miss RENEC Too on: December 26, 2022, 04:24:38 AM
Is this the token of the P2P exchange remitano.com? I used to use this exchange and also heard about the RENEC token but was never interested in it. I see you're exaggerating when you try to compare it to Ethereum or Binance smart chain, it's a pretty lame comparison.

It just launched this year which means it has a long way to go and find a way to survive this bear season before thinking it will become as big as ETH or BNB.
Remitano was doing great before Binance was born, but since the birth of Binance, it has almost eclipsed all other P2P exchanges, I doubt Remitano's existence in the future.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: December 26, 2022, 04:06:48 AM

The two are inseparable.
I don't think the two are inseparable, the world economy doesn't depend on bitcoin so without bitcoin the economy won't be affected.

In fact, Bitcoin provides a more convenient storage and payment tool for people who cannot use the centralized financial system for various reasons.
Bitcoin provides a store of assets, a means of payment, and an investment channel for us, but not everyone needs bitcoin, bitcoin has not yet reached such importance.

Bitcoin is also subtly affecting the global economic order. After all, some countries have shown a very friendly attitude. Singapore has become the center of the global digital currency and crypto world. This is very surprising and surprising.
Again, bitcoin is still not big enough to impact the economy or the world order. Bitcoin is still very small and is in the development stage to be recognized, it is not fully recognized yet. I still have faith in bitcoin, but it may take longer for bitcoin to achieve what you say.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 25, 2022, 08:21:05 PM
The main thing is to return to Bundesliga, I don’t think that they set their main goal, to win Bundesliga 2. Ganover and Kaiserslautern will also retain the chances, the lag of 5 points is not so critically, this is only half the season, the whole struggle is still ahead. But I think that Hamburg has very good chances to return to Bundesliga next season, in the near future they will have two friendly matches with Cologne and Freiburg, they are trying to agree on matches with the Bundesliga teams.

If Hamburger can actually qualify for the Bundesliga, it would be a remarkable achievement for them. But it is going to be challenging for them if they continue to perform like what they are doing right now. First of all, they will have to be consistent. Without being consistent, they will not be able to stay at the top of the table. There will always be another team that performs better if they are not consistent, and the other team will also have a chance to get promoted to the Bundesliga. And another thing you know, the defense of hamburgers was not very convincing. They have to perform well defensively.

1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 25, 2022, 03:42:40 PM
Jaffna won the LPL once more (they have won all the three editions till now). I still don't have a very optimistic overview of the Lanka Premier League (LPL). They are still heavily dependent on the revenues from India. Sri Lanka is a small country of 20 million people, and unlike the case with Pakistan or Bangladesh, they don't have the capability to sustain their own franchise T20 league. And the economic situation in Sri Lanka is not good either.
In addition to these leagues such as LPL, PSL and BPL, why can't the boards come up with a combined league where the top 2 teams from each of the leagues participate? It can be a six-team league, with the top 2 clubs from LPL, 2 from PSL and 2 from BPL. Or it can be further expanded with one team each from Afghanistan and Nepal to make it a 8-team league.
But, good thing happening with the all issues and on and off the field problems they are doing good job and having good league which will give them good results in long run which is positive development for this small country and spirit behind this league is also amazing from the Sri Lankan authorities as they are currently facing the worst time but still having good success which is impressive.
And about you this suggestion I think few years back we already have one league with the name of Champions League, but sadly this was not successful, so they scrap this idea and now no one talking about this all which is good idea because as we already have few troubles regarding Pakistan and Indian relationship, so this could be also not successful so most chances no one will be gone ahead or if we have then most chances Pakistan or India any country will be not in.

Champions League was supposed to be unsuccessful because a tournament that was supposed to be the biggest right after the World Cup was not properly taken care of by the ICC. And secondly, the teams also did not care about the Champions League that much.

Well, correct me if I’m wrong but I believe they did at first but since when the league cricket started getting popularity, Champions League started losing popularity, as far as I know. And I don’t think the cricket fans also care about the Champions League. Even I almost forgot that something like this existed in cricket.

The Sri Lankan cricket board will have to increase the budget for LPL. Otherwise, it is not going to be big. And the Sri Lankan people will have to be more interested in the LPL.

Basking from the euphoria of winning the World Cup Messi had agreed a contract extension with PSG, this news had put to an end the speculation that Laporta wanted to lure him back to Barcelona after his present contract expires in 2023, Messi is expected to sign a one year contract extension with his present club, I think PSG will never let him go now as the club is desperately and battling to win the coveted UCL this season and from every indication Messi had settled down in Paris and hopefully with the arrival of Neymar and Mbappe back the team all is now set for UCL matches coming up next February.
Link: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/64031342

If Lionel Messi has any self-respect, he’s not going to go back to Barcelona. I remember he even agreed to play for half of the salary that he was getting at that time just to stay in Barcelona. But even that was not possible. And why Lionel Messi is going to go back to Barcelona for some extra competition when he is finding it easy to stay in PSG and winning the Ligue 1 title?

At first, we were talking about Cristiano Ronaldo versus Lionel Messi. After that now we are talking about Mbappé versus Lionel Messi. This guy is still playing like he is in his prime even when he is 35 years old

It's not your fault, he has become a loser and he has no place to blame, and unfortunately, when you see him again. People who fail are more likely to blame others than to take the blame on themselves, no one is responsible for our lives but ourselves.

...you can get him introduced to crypto and Bitcointalk forum, that should be the best favour for him from my opinion.

What his friend needs right now is to quit drinking, quit smoking, and get a good job outside than going to this forum and investing in bitcoin. With people like him, I fear that he will become addicted to gambling rather than becoming an investor. Don't rush to introduce him to the forum, with bitcoin, see if his actions change.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 24, 2022, 08:43:07 PM
Sergio Busquets is a defensive midfielder while De Jong is an attacking midfielder. so even if Sergio Busquets leaves in January, the ideal replacement would be Franck Kessie. or N, Golo Kante if Barcelona succeed in signing him in January. whatever it is, Barcelona should let Busquets go while still having a transfer fee. for De Jong, if Barcelona put him on the sale list in January, I would really regret it. he is a talented player, after all, Barcelona's young midfielder still needs the guidance of a more senior player like De Jong.
On the wing, like it or not if Raphinha's performance doesn't improve. Xavi must replace him with another player, at least Barcelona still has Ansu Fati if Xavi wants to experiment. IMO, Barcelona's problem at the moment is the tactics and strategy applied by Xavi. if Xavi is able to see Barcelona's weaknesses and fix them, I'm optimistic that Barcelona can win at least one trophy. be it La Liga or Europa League.
Do they still have enough money for it? They had already spent a lot of money on the exchanges at the beginning of the season. For salary alone they need a lot of money. If they don't sell some players maybe they could get penalized about FFP.

Another news I saw on Social media if Beligham was going to Madrid. But reportedly Dortmund asked for a fee of 100 million euros. That possibility, he was prepared to replace Modric or Kross who was getting old.

There is no doubt in my mind that it is Sergio Busquets who is well past his prime at Barcelona. In my opinion, he should really consider retiring or leaving Barcelona in the very near future if he does not wish to continue playing there. There is a possibility that MLS might be the most appropriate option for him. I believe that this is due to the fact that he has been growing older. In addition, the pressure over there seems to be much less than that in La Liga. According to my opinion, it is time that Barcelona invests more in younger players rather than older players like Busquets, and I believe it is the right move.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 24, 2022, 08:05:16 PM
It's always what Dortmund is known for; I'm not sure why they don't keep players for long; once a player expresses an interest in leaving the team, they just let him go without considering how the fans will feel or the team's performance.
That's how they let their best striker, Erling Haaland, leave last season, and now they've lost form because they're not competitive this season, so instead of buying more players, they want to sell more.
This is the business model of Dortmund. And I can't say that they "just let go" of the players - they make money on these transfers. Now they have another star for sale - Bellingham, the contract with him is signed until 2026 and the club that wants to buy him will be forced to pay good money for him.

That is a big reason why Gartmorn is not successful as a club. They do not keep players for longer periods of time. Whenever they see that they can make benefit by selling a player, they sell him. They do not keep players if they see any Potential business deal that is able to be made by him. And most people do not like this approach from Dortmund. Because obviously, this is why they are unable to win trophies.

Whenever there is a player who shows good potential in Dortmund, they sell him for a huge amount of money. They also take themselves as a business-making club. Not a club that is concentrated on bringing in trophies.
1293  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: December 24, 2022, 02:33:08 PM
It's hard to say for sure, but it seems to me that there is a connection! Does Bitcoin affect the economy?? I think it's the opposite! It seems to me that the economy has more influence on Bitcoin. It seems difficult to me to catch a direct connection, but definitely the cryptocurrency market is part of the economy.

That is for sure, bitcoin is part of the economy, and economics has a huge influence on the development of bitcoin. That is clearly shown through the last crisis when the economy was under pressure from the crisis, inflation and bitcoin were also not immune to the negative effects of the ailing economy.
There is a relationship between them, but in my opinion, there is only a one-way impact, meaning that bitcoin has not been able to affect the world economy as well as other countries. Bitcoin is still too small compared to other markets to make a macroeconomic impact.

If you're talking about world war 3, nuclear and chemical warfare, then I don't think we can avoid that war anywhere. Maybe the country you and I live in has nothing to do with the war between the great powers, but once the nuclear warhead is activated, I think it will destroy the whole earth and leave no place intact. Just remember the two atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki showed its destructive power and now nuclear bombs are a hundred times more powerful, surely nothing would exist on this earth if they were activated at the same time.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 23, 2022, 08:46:53 PM
Francesco Camarda. He's 14-year old and has scored 485 goals in 89 games in the AC Milan academy.

He was promoted to the Milan u19s yesterday for a friendly and he bagged a brace. Next year debut maybe ?
It is always too early to talk about young kids that are under 16 years old and how their future could be. We have seen plenty of superstar potential players at those ages, end up not being good at all when they grow up. There are few reasons for this, one of them is the fact that they are talented but also have physical advantages over their teammates and opponents at that age, some players could be super fast and be 6+ feet tall anyway, while everyone else is closer to 5 feet tall for example.

Or it could be because they grow and the stardom takes their eye and they start to go to clubs too much. It could be anything, but in the end we are talking about a 14 year old, we have to wait at least another 3-4 years to see if they will be legit great.

There is a problem I’m going on in the football world which is people tend to hype up very young players too much.

Remember bojan kirkić? Messi’s cousin.

He was the youngest player to score for Barcelona. He was supposed to be the best and compete alongside Messi. But he did not live up to the expectation. He could not handle the pressure of such expectations.

I think these are some reasons why a lot of players are not growing up to be very good because the expectation is very high for them at a very young age.

And another thing is that some of the players who are actually very good get caught up in the money and fame.
1296  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currency (centralized system) on: December 23, 2022, 12:10:42 PM
Most governments(especially from bigger established countries) unfortunately likely wouldn't want to adopt it — obviously because they can control bitcoin/crypto only to a certain extent. Smaller countries on the other hand(e.g. Venezuela) have more incentive to adopt bitcoin/crypto as some sort of hail Mary bet that it would work well for them in the long-term.
The Government are people like us, even if they claim they won't be buying Bitcoin that's for their job sake but at the back we can never tell who is buying, to be honest Bitcoin is very tempting and for a government worker there is enough money to use for investment.

My point is they are pretending to hate Bitcoin because they can't control it but that doesn't stop them from investing behind the curtain.

In the same way, news about banks spreads bad news about bitcoin and advises people not to invest or use it. But I really don't believe what they say or what the media is spreading. I have the same thoughts as you, governments, banks, and people who are stigmatizing bitcoin every day are quietly accumulating more bitcoins than we can imagine. We need to remember one thing, business or investment has the ultimate goal of profit, as long as there is profit, those statements can change at any time.
1297  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: December 23, 2022, 12:00:53 PM
Republicans have stated that they will stop aid to Ukraine if they can control the House or both houses. I think those are statements intended to attract voters in their midterm elections, the possibility of them doing so is improbable. Regardless of which party is in power, the national interest must come first, or you will also be deposed if you harm the national interest. Russia is mired in war or economically lagging behind is beneficial to the US, no matter who comes to power, they will not ignore. But I still hope the Republicans come to power rather than Biden.

They just had the mid term elections and Democrats won the control of the senate. The next elections are two years away and by that time the war will be settled once and for all. But the longer the war lasts, that much difficult will be the economical situation, across the globe. Already countries are reeling from high inflation, driven by high prices of oil, gas, wheat and coal. Europe is disproportionately impacted while the US is benefitting from it's exports of oil and gas at inflated prices to countries including the European Union.

I see that America's customers are almost entirely European because they sell oil and gas at too high a price, and Europe has no other choice. I believe the European governments are well aware of what is happening, but they have no better solution. They are controlled by the US, they depend on everything from the military to the economy. Although inflation in the US is still high, they have succeeded in exporting inflation to their brothers. Inflation in the UK and some European countries have shown no signs of stopping and is still increasing. Only one country is winning this war.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 22, 2022, 07:51:51 PM
I had a lot of expectation from PJL and WPSL. But the elevation of Najam Sethi casts doubt about the continuation of these leagues. The above mentioned leagues are not very profitable and were designed by Rameez Raja when he was the PCB chairman. Najam Sethi doesn't care much about cricket and he is money minded. I don't know whether he will allow these leagues to function. It is a big loss to Pakistan cricket. Sethi will ruin Pakistani cricket and after a few years once again PCB will get some scapegoat like Rameez. The cycle will go on.
Expectation from a countries cricket board which is struggling to give a decent amount of electricity supply to its citizens is more than you as an individual living in India would think about in your every day life. Pakistan team in the past were a contingent to fear and now they are so down with uncertainty that it is better to not bet on them.
In my opinion after Imran Khan was removed from the country as the PM this situation was waiting to happen. He was the individual who was trying to improve the level of cricket in Pakistan and above all abolish the authoritarian type of selecting a chairman of the cricket board. But, eventually those who are responsible for looting cricket board money and ruining its existence are back. I reckon dark days are again coming back.
A bad political environment affects Ramiz Raja. In Pakistan cricket, fixing will be on the rise now that Sethi has returned due to the country's economic crisis.
During Ramiz Raja's tenure as PCB chairman, Pakistan cricket made good progress. I am surprised that Sethi will be replacing him. Ramiz was a good man, so this was a bad decision. The people's reaction tells the whole story. It would have been better to try a new person with fresh ideas. The future looks bleak, so let's wait and see.
I am sad that he is no longer the chairman of the PCB. However, I am looking forward to seeing him in the commentary box.

Pakistan cricket is not going to prosper if Pakistan is under so many problems as a country. And another thing is that players are also not going to be able to play without any outside pressure at the back of their minds if the political situation in Pakistan is not good. Actually, the Cricketer's order Pakistan Cricket board actually cannot do anything in this matter, in my opinion.

Well, I think the Pakistan Cricket Board could do anything if the government did not have so much to say about who will be in charge of the Pakistan Cricket board.

I think it would have been great if Ramiz Raja was still the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket board. But that is not to be.

Dogecoin will stay just like Ethereum. Dogecoin is the king of meme coins, just like Ethereum when there are a lot of other projects that claim "Ethereum killers" and failed after.
So overall, dogecoin will stay even though there are a lot of other meme coins that are copying or the following dogecoin.

About Elon Musk, before, Elon Musk is still not around that using dogecoin for his drama, dogecoin is already here and already on the top as a meme coin.
I agree, in the world of memecoins, doge is still kinged in the same way Ethereum dominates the altcoins market. Doge will never die even if Elon no longer supports it, we need to remember that Doge appeared many years ago, and it still has a community that supports and uses them, then Elon comes and does for Doge to become stronger. The capitalization of Dogecoin recently surpassed coinbase, a lame comparison, but it shows that Doge is getting bigger and bigger.

Right now there is war between good and evil.
Do not worry good always Will win no matter who will win or lose only you need to know that bad guys at the end always Will lose.
Who's good ?
Good Are honest loyal and right at least with their own people.

Those who been betrayed Even their own people will be judged AS bad on god eyes.

Anyways If you Are good you got nothing to worry about the bad ones need to worry about only.

Sometime good people are frustrated because wicked people in the society seems not to be punished for their evil deeds. We see murderers, fraudsters, thieves and criminals moving freely, even when it is clear that they are guilty of these crimes. In fact, my society celebrates anybody that acquires riches regardless of the source of their funds. They are given the best position in government, honor in the society and best seats in religious settings. I have seen terrorists become legislature and thieves elected as governors.

But these negative occurrences shouldn't stop us from becoming honest, loyal and trustworthy. We must learn to treat people the way we want to be treated. Evil may seems to be winning but good would conquer and defeat it. I am sure that one day everybody we would all give account of our activities on earth.

This is what's happening in our world, the world is never fair. Those who work in government and work for judicial agencies are mostly liars and fraudsters, but by some force, they have become a justice.

Given what is happening in the world today, I doubt that good will triumph over evil. But that's not why we have to become bad guys, let's live honestly and always help people, I still believe this world has cause and effect, it's just that it won't come as soon as we expect.
