The Dogecoin withdrawal commission will likely be removed once our Dogecoin payouts matches our Bitcoin payouts in terms of volume.

1283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do with 5.9 mBTC on: January 04, 2015, 07:42:42 AM
i dont think you can invest that amount anywhere, after all you are talking about ~1.5 $ there is no place that needs 1.5$ and give you profit for it and most importantly IS LEGIT

also only gamble it if you are prepared to lose it. but there is a chance you might win some. also the fun is guaranteed Cheesy
You can invest it by buying altcoins.

I already did Smiley
I got my bitcoins up to 7.2 mBTC already

You turned 5 mBTC to 7.2 mBTC (44% profit) in a day? That is very nice. You may have some talent or luck to be a good trader. Smiley

Thanks, I read up on stuff before I did anything Smiley Just withdrew from POLONIEX into BTER
and cashed out with 7.5 mBTC, not including dust I left at BTER haha

You may also wish to try gambling some cryptos on a dice site. I enjoy a lot Bikinidice.com and FreeDOGE.co.in (URLs/links are in my signature).
1284  Other / Meta / Re: How do I delete my account on here?? on: January 04, 2015, 07:25:41 AM
Maybe this thread will help others who also want to delete their account.

We can ask theymos to sticky it , and if another user come here and want to  know how to delete his account he should only read this thread.

+1. I support your position. It may helps newbies & other members to understand that their accounts cannot be deleted; but, they only can lose access to them.
1285  Other / Meta / Re: How do I delete my account on here?? on: January 04, 2015, 06:24:21 AM
Hello,

How do I delete my account??   I have tried to do it myself but it looks like an admin can only do it...

I have tried to send Admin a message but they have disabled personal messages.

Thank you

As redsn0w & others already said, Your only way is: 1) to delete all your posts; 2) change the password in one with random letters; 3) logout and don't came back anymore.

Unless you ask the admin I don't think there is any way for you to delete your account. You could however delete all your posts and change your pass...

I don't think that wasting his/her and theymos time to ask for account deletion make any sense. No forum will ever delete an user account due to accountability issues. Newbies shall live with this hard reality of life!

Evening,

I created a post earlier and it was removed.  After contacting BadBear (An online administrator) he advised it was probably due to suspected malware which if completely understandable as I have one post in which I release an .exe

BadBear advised me to post here Smiley

Please could someone test/ verify my application as I believe it will help some members in the community.  Also I would like to release it 1st on this forum as it has been very useful during development.

Hello how can i have positive and trust can a newbie have trust ?

Yes, they can! A Newbie, like more established member, can gain positive trust by being a trustworthy person in our community or by successfully carrying out a trade where another member risks something he/she value.

You should not be asking how to gain trust feedback itself. Ask instead what you can do to be a trustworthy trader.

Also as b!z point out don't care about how to rise you trust; but, just be a trustworthy trader and forum member. You should also take notice that caring too much about ways to increase trust - in particular if in other ways than being a trustworthy trader and forum member - may picture yourself like a potential scammer to other members.

1289  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & number of posts on: January 03, 2015, 09:33:47 AM
Log-on time has nothing to do with activity. And you have to be actively browsing for the time to go up. For activity, simply put you get 14 points every two week period. You need to make at least one post in every period to collect those points. Next period starts on Tuesday and you can get another 14 points then.

I see, that's why my activity is 28 :-)
Thank you for your answer!

hilariousandco already explained you the way activity works in a clear and easy way; however, I may suggest you to give also a look to this helpful thread: ===>>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

MsBitcoin, the girl who was paid 100 or so BTC to have Bitcoin tattooed above her vagina. What happened to her?

I am the only one with this IP address. I entered the craptacha in right. Waited 7 minutes. waited 10 minutes what do I have to do to send a message to someone?

The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later. The thing you were trying to post was saved as a draft. This limit decreases substantially as your account becomes more established.

Just give a look to OP in this thread ====>>>>  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Time limit to new post is linked to User Rank to prevent spamming. Once your rank go upward you'll be able to wait less before posting again.

You may like to read out theymos explanation of the trust system workings here. ===>>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.0
 Wink

Looks like it's not rising up, because none of these guys you trade with are on the Default Trust list.  Usually is the case for lower ranked users.  Also, once you're higher member status and been here longer, the trust will show to more users.

You can add these users you've dealt with to your trust list, but it'll only appear + to you and no one else.

Only Moderators can add users to the Default Trust list.

If you'd to like to know the formula, here it is:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=337207.msg3618130#msg3618130

Code:
scam_reports = total unique users who report scamming
reports = total positive ratings
btc = total BTC from positive ratings
unique_reports = total unique users who posted positive ratings
oldest = timestamp of the oldest positive trust rating
latest_scam = timestamp of the latest scam rating

scam_multiplier = 1
# recent scam = bigger negative score
if(current_time - latest_scam < 7 days)
    scam_multiplier += 1.5

# new member = bigger negative score
if(current_time - oldest < 60 days)
    scam_multiplier += 3

months = months since oldest
total = reports + btc/50    # 50 BTC = 1 report

# long-term con men
if(total > 0 && scam_reports > 4)
    scam_multiplier += (scam_reports / total) * 50

# Approximately limit the number of points each person can contribute each month
subtotal = min(2*unique_reports * months, total)
# Newer users have smaller point limits
limited_total = min(subtotal, 10*months) / 10

score = min((limited_total * months - scam_reports * scam_multiplier), 150)
You can leave trust but whether it shows up in the trusted or untrusted part is down to whether you have been put on the defaulttrust list which you are currently not.
You can only get put on there by someone who is already on it. They need to add you to their trust list.

+1.  Roll Eyes I cannot say it more clearly.
