1281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: September 14, 2016, 10:28:20 AM
Is it possible to earn 1000 or atleast 100 bitcoins with trading Altcoins. If I buy some bitcoin at cheaper rate today and it's price goes up in future?Which alt you think has potential to make me 1000 btc

I think you can make 1000 btc if you have skills and luck in trading. But maybe you will need a couple of trades to make it and not just depend on one altcoin. It may take months or years for you to build that large amount of bitcoin and just be consistent with your strategy and with luck then you can reached that amount eventually. Maybe 1,000 btc is less likely or remotely possible and the 100 btc is more likely to happen if you work hard for it.
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: September 14, 2016, 10:02:59 AM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin

The first time I've known the existence of bitcoin is wayback 2013 when I joined PTC sites and there were some advertisements related to bitcoin but I did not really comprehend what it is all about. I stop visiting the PTC site and I did not encounter bitcoin again until Nov 2015 when an office mate introduced to me a site and she said that if she's buying and selling it whe n the price goes up but I'm still not interested. It was April 2016 when I became interested in it because it's already in the news and that's the time I got involved in bitcoin world and then my journey begins.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’ve been working in Bitcoin industry for 3 years and here’s why you should NOT on: September 14, 2016, 08:58:47 AM

Nice article and the list you mentioned are really the reasons why I'm using bitcoin. The moment I understand what bitcoin is all about then I know that it would be one of the key to achieve my goals. I'm in for bitcoin for the long term and though there will be up and down of its value due to unforeseen events, I believe that it will continue to rise in due time. Base on the news, there are many major investors who have seen the potential of bitcoin and so they diversify their investments and include bitcoin in it. If they believe in bitcoin then I should believe in it too because for sure they have carefully analyze where they will put their money and where there is potential profit so I should invest in it too.
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italy Wants to Treat Bitcoin as Currency And Tax It on: September 14, 2016, 07:05:32 AM
Since bitcoin is becoming popular and they can see that many are benefiting from it having minuscule charges so the government will really find a way to benefit also from it. It's advantageous for bitcoin users having no tax yet to its transactions and if this would push through then many may want to shift back to fiat if the government will implement it. But it may be hard for the government to trace every transaction of the users because it has many addresses and its hard to track also the user because of its anonymity.
1285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoin wallets do you have and why ? on: September 13, 2016, 10:13:26 AM
I have two bitcoin wallet. The other one I use it in case I need to recharge my phone or want to earn from referrals by using the wallet and for cashing out purposes. The other one is the one I use in my online transactions like trading and investing. I separated it because the first one is only a sub wallet and I wanted to track the transactions so I use the other one instead in online transactions so that I can see its confirmation and track my expenses.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: September 13, 2016, 10:06:16 AM
In one of the topics I read "If bitcoin will reach $10.000, fiat currency has become worthless"
Do you agree with this statement?

I don't think fiat will be worthless. Bitcoin will be use like gold which can be use for trading and other purposes but fiat will still be there because it is the one use by the general public now and it will still be use for decades. There are still so many people that have limited access to technology and some even to electricity so it would not be possible for them to use bitcoin. They will still use fiat because it's the one widely used and accepted by all people.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be pumped-and-dumped? on: September 13, 2016, 09:59:52 AM
I think it can be done. There are many bitcoin holders having big amounts and if they decided to pump the price then it can be done. Maybe one day they will agree and decide to pump the price and they can do it because they have the power to do so because of the amount of btc they are holding and then when there's no more funds left they will sell it causing for the price to dive and then maybe some small investors will join in the ride causing the big fluctuations of the price. Bitcoin is widespread and only some hold that big amount and I think they were in for it in the long term so I think they will not do it- the pump and dump- but it can be done if they want to.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WORST decision about BTC on: September 13, 2016, 09:48:44 AM
There's this time when I just bought bitcoin and then after that I immediately joined a cloudmining site promising high returns and paying everyday. I was so happy during that time earning everyday without doing anything and the amount I received, I invested it in other sites promising those high returns also. I was happy that everyday when I wake up there's already an additional amount in my wallet and then those sites that I invested disappeared one by one causing me to have net loss and then that's the time I realized that I was scammed and I can't get my coins back anymore. This is my worst decision and promise myself I will never invest in a HYIP site again.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in everyday life on: September 13, 2016, 09:21:36 AM
What is your opinion: will btc become a currency with which you can pay in supermarkets, subways etc?
Or will it remain a crypto-currency used mostly in the Internet?

I believe bitcoin will become a currency that will be use in supermarkets and other stores. Though it is not that popular as of now especially to those people that are not inclined to high technology, it is slowly adopted by some companies and somehow time will come when these people will be aware of its existence. Bitcoin cab be used now in reloading, paying the bills, purchasing flight tickets and other things so it is slowly use as a currency same with fiat and not just a crypto-currency use in the internet.
1290  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: September 11, 2016, 04:19:43 PM
HYIPs are obviously and definitely scams. They offer huge profits which is too good to be true. Some last a couple of months but still end as a scam. For me the best way to invest/grow your bitcoin is through altcoin trading. Altcoin trading is really profitable if you know what you are doing and not trading scam coins. Before you trade a certain altcoin study all about it to make sure it is not a scam and the dev of it won't leave his coin.

I've been a victim of HYIPs also and never again will I invest in those kind of sites. You're lucky if you invested early and get ROI plus some profit but more often than not they are gone before you can have an ROI which resulted in a net loss for your part. I agree with you that the best way to grow bitcoin is through trading. Trading requires a lot of time and experience before you can finally reap the fruits of your labor so I suggest that if one has no experience or only a little experience in trading then you can start small amount or trade demo first until such time that you can develop your own strategy and have a feel of the market and you know trading psychology then you can invest bigger amount.
1291  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you hate about Bitcoin ? on: September 11, 2016, 04:07:57 PM
I hate that some events really have a big effect in its price fluctuations like the hacking. If I buy that high and then suddenly the price dive then I would hate it but nevertheless I don't worry because I'm in for bitcoin for the long term so even though it has unstable price and huge fluctuations, I believe that it will continue to go up and more people will use it because some of the big sites will adopt and use it as payment option in the future and more stores will accept it as payment.
1292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: September 11, 2016, 04:00:58 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

I choose bitcoin over fiat in investing because bitcoin has bigger fluctuations in prices so I can use this fluctuations to my advantage like in trading. Though there is risk that it might go the other way, there is still a chance that you can profit from it maybe in the long term. Bitcoin also is favorable for those that cannot transact online yet because they have no credit card or other payment processor that needs supporting documents to open an account whereas in bitcoin they can open a wallet or like have their own bank without the need of proof as long as he understand whats the process. Bitcoin is not yet regulated so the government cannot touch it yet that's why it's an advantage because it has no tax for some countries.
1293  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Someone told me HASHOCEAN is coming back on: September 10, 2016, 12:17:09 PM
Well I think that they have already come back but of course with different name now. If ever they will come back with the same site as before then people will flood them trying to get back their deposit and no one will be entice to deposit again in their site until they will refund the amount they got from the investors or even if they will refund which is very less likely then I think people will have doubts now in trusting their site because maybe they will disappear again. I've been one of the victim of this site and I already learned my lesson and if ever they will come back, I will never deposit again any penny to them even if they will refund my deposit. I'm done with HYIPs.
1294  Economy / Speculation / Re: SHOULD BUY BITCOIN RIGHT NOW OR WAITING FOR THE END OF THE YEAR 2106? on: September 10, 2016, 12:08:30 PM
If you are still in doubt and you are not comfortable buying just in one go because maybe the price will go down in the following months then think also of the possibility that the price may go up because no one really knows what will happen to the price. I can suggest that you can buy just 25% this month and 25% the next since there's four months until the end of the year you can already buy 100% of your budget for the bitcoin. This way, you can use the averaging of the four months of how much really is your bitcoin worth and you will not be so affected by the fluctuation in prices.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price did you get your first BTC? Bought or Mined. Are you ahead? POLL. on: September 10, 2016, 10:32:35 AM
I bought my first bitcoin for $500 just this year.Actually the actual price is around $450+ but the site is selling it for $500 so I just bought it because I really wanted to have bitcoin so that I can invest it in a site which promises high return only to find out that it disappear after a few months in which I was able to get back only about half of my investment. I use the amount I got back for trading and slowly getting back the amount that I lost. I am not aware yet before of the scam going on that's why I immediately joined without any doubt and then later learned my lesson.
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a gift for a baby? on: September 09, 2016, 08:38:58 AM
I think bitcoin is a good idea for a gift because it would be a long term investment. Given the situation now, bitcoin is becoming popular and our technology is innovating now and then and the idea of using digital currency would appeal to more people therefore an increase in its demand. As years would go by, I believe its value will keep increasing and by the time the baby is old enough to access his wallet then maybe it would have multiple times value over than what it is now so I think its really a good investment. There is a risk that it might not be as valuable as what we are thinking now but its good to get in the game while they are still young.
1297  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: September 07, 2016, 10:31:07 AM
I buy bitcoins for investment purposes. I believe that its price will go up in the future and I'm in it for the long term. I also use it in trading because aside from accumulating bitcoin by buying, I'm also trading altcoin to increase my balance. Once I profit in trading then I will withdraw some and invest it in other businesses not related to bitcoin so that I will have several source of income. So basically, bitcoin will be my main investment at first and then grow from there and that's my reason for buying bitcoin because of its earning potential.
1298  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade house for 1 bitcoin on: September 07, 2016, 10:14:13 AM
How long until we can trade a house for a single bitcoin??

1 year, 2 years, 3 years?? What do you think about it?
Why would you try and trade your house in  for just one Bitcoin. I never believe that just one Bitcoin is going to be worth more then a whole house in the future.
Do not do this because you will regret it.
Yes it will never happen maybe he hopes a huge advantage by holding 1 bitcoin and have a dream if bitcoin will have the same value to the home.

Though I have high hopes for bitcoin also but buying a house for one bitcoin only I think is nearly impossible. We know that bitcoin's price of being valued highly in the future is very possible but I think it will never reach to the point where one bitcoin will be worth $100k. Maybe you can save 10 or 20 bitcoin perhaps for a house then you can buy one if you can already afford it for the amount of bitcoin you saved.
1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a good way to store money? on: September 07, 2016, 07:02:54 AM
Bitcoin is just a good way to invest your money?
Or we can also store our money there, if the price stay stable?
What do you thing about this?

Yes bitcoin is a good way to invest money but it's better if it's for long term than short term because of the volatility of bitcoin now having big fluctuations then it may not be good if you buy now and then suddenly the price will go down whereas if you invest it for the long term then you would not worry about the fluctuations for now because bitcoin is strong and even if it goes down, it will go up eventually. If you also have problem in bank because you don't have supporting documents to open one then bitcoin is a good alternative in storing money because you can just open an account not needing any documents. Of course there is risk that your money will be lower in value because of price difference but it's better than putting it in your own wallet and then you can spend it immediately.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to Trading on: September 06, 2016, 08:31:14 AM
You should know the basics of trading first. Of course the rule is that you should buy low and sell high to profit but how you should do it, you should study first and if possible have a mentor that already has vast experience in altcoin trading. In order for you to grasp how trading works then you should try it first using a demo account or if you want to go live then you can start small capital. When you think you are already ready having all the knowledge and strategy and consistenly having a profit then you can deposit bigger amount. We are all aware that trading has risks but if you know what you are doing then you can minimize it.
