1281  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: October 10, 2017, 04:56:27 AM
I agree Bitcoin is really a blessing in my and my friend part though.  This give us an opportunity to transact online, venture the cyberworld and trade with different people in terms of different cryptocurrency.  This also gives us good monthly earning and already elevated our standard of living.  If I haven't known Bitcoin, I bet I will never have an opportunity to transact online.
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin world currency on: October 10, 2017, 04:46:11 AM
It think every country will have its own coin. And major cities might have their own coin also, as well as individual provinces/states.

Lol this will bring confusion, a single digital currency is enough for a country.  Creating much more will result in confusion and extra expenditure.  Bitcoin will always be an alternative because government won't accept Bitcoin since they have no control for it.  Aside from that, Bitcoin is transparent and government want secrecy.
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 04:20:25 AM
It is happening.  EVeryday a number of merchants are accepting Bitcoin.  The current news about amazon accepting Bitcoin and google using Bitcoin API to recieve payment is great.  This means thousand of retailers will accept Bitcoin upon implementation.  Just  a bit more time and we will see Bitcoin going mainstream in terms of merchant acceptance.
1284  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 10, 2017, 03:44:01 AM
Definitely no.

Bitcoin is indeed one of the most effective way as an scapegoat from poverty. It can make you rich as long as you are willing to exert all your effort and time with it. Another thing is that bitcoin is not yet widely and deeply known all over the world which means not everyone will be able to surpass all the challenges. It would surely take a very long time before this thing would occur because of the innovatons happening within bitcoin itself.

I agree since there are lots of income opportunity that can be found in Bitcoin economy.  One of which is trading, where if you can master it, you will be rich in no time but not all have access to bitcoin. And no matter how good is the offer if people cannot access and reach that offer then it will do nothing to help this people in poverty to elevate their standard of living.
1285  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 03:37:23 AM
You can buy bitcoin  any time..and keep it for a longer term and surely you can make a lot of money and investment Cheesy Kiss

I agree but to those who wanted to take advantage of Bitcoin, you can Buy bitcoin at the dip and sell it at peak.  There are signals and signs where you know bitcoin will take a fall so before the fall happen we must be able to sell our stash to take profit when it is time to buy Bitcoin.  Trader do this and they keep on looking and waiting for signs how the market will move.
1286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 10, 2017, 03:10:24 AM
If no one spend bitcoin, the first effect of it is increase in price since demand needs to offer higher just to get the sellers interest.  But if the situation keeps on going, BItcoin will be doomed to oblivion because merchant cannot transact with it and the economy will die because coin stopped circulating.  Meaning no more available coins for newbie to buy.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: October 10, 2017, 03:00:25 AM
I do not think bitcoin will replace gold.  Though they can both compere in which one is better in terms of store of value but both are different entity, once being tangible and the other one being intangible.  There are uses of gold that cannot be replaced by Bitcoin and vice versa.  I think this two will coexist in harmony and there should be no competition between these two.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: October 10, 2017, 02:20:47 AM
I keep on buying whenever I see Bitcoin falls, and sell them once they regain the price.  This somehow gives me profit in shorterm period.  I also trade bitcoin altcoin if bitcoin price somehow continue to incrase in price value.  This way I keep on getting profit even if Bitcoin have a steady path upward.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Once again,BTC is back on: October 10, 2017, 01:13:10 AM
As expected, Bitcoin will rebound its price.  Aside from that the possible reason for this come back is the upcoming fork.  People are thinking that if fork happen there is a huge possibility that they will double their profit simply because they have extra coins to sell on the forked network.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me a bitcoin wallet on: October 08, 2017, 09:33:53 AM
I think the best wallet is the one released by bitcoin core. though if you want a lightweight you can use electrum or multibit but I woud prefer electrum over multibit HD because of the availability to extract private key.  Web wallet is good but there is more risk using it than the one we installed in our desktop.
1291  Economy / Speculation / Re: When the price of the BTC will be equal to $ 10 000 ? on: October 04, 2017, 04:10:30 PM
I think $10k is possible by end of next year but can't predict the exact date when it will touch that level. $5k+ seems possible by end of this year and $5000 might work as floor for 2018.

I will say between September to October of 2018, price will be over $10k.  Wink I am being over optimistic lol

I guess it will take another 2 or 3 years before we can see Bitcoin at 10k USD.  The adoption and market saturation is not  mature enough to support such high price of bitcoin.  Aside from that we should also consider the resistance and FUD of people who wanted to get Bitcoin at cheapest possible price.  So with this I guess price will not double in just one year from this time to the end of next year.
1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price BTC after SegWit2x? on: October 04, 2017, 03:05:24 PM
i would say Bitcoin price to the moon!  Segwit2x simply signals bullish bitcoin.  Especially if it is successfuly implemented.  I can see easy $6k  once the hype of segwit2x kicks in just like a bull in a steroid.  Though there is a possibility that a drop may happen before it is implemented and many people will try to FUD the Bitcoin market to get enough cheap coins fo thenext uptrend.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: October 04, 2017, 02:57:30 PM
In every investment there is always risk no matter how legit the ICO is.  But if  we say if it is safe in terms of getting profit from the ICO, I can say there are some that can give us huge profit while some will just eat the value away of our holding because their are just those who use ICO for easy money grab.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: October 04, 2017, 02:14:51 PM
I think each token have their strength.  We cannot compare one entity to the other entity that have different function.  It is like comparing circle and blue.  I believe both have lots of potential especially waves in its field.  Ethereum somehow proven itself and still continue to prove that they are a great token for smart contract and showing that they will keep developing  to adjust for peoples need.
1295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rise is over on: October 04, 2017, 02:01:43 PM
I think we cannot compare the 2013 chart to 2017 chart  as the same thing.  Bitcoin during 2013 were no that strong, it was sure a bubble and overpumped by exchanges.  The current situation of Bitcoin is different because of more real supporter and country adoption, even  China support Bitcoin, they just need to clean their country of illegally operating exchanges. And look ahead, an update is about to happen.  It may dip a bit but I guess it will continue to uptrend unti it reaches its next peak price before correction happen.
1296  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN = 5000$ THIS 2017? on: October 04, 2017, 01:48:08 PM
yes it seems that by the end of 2017 it will be a good year-end for bitcoin development even though china is no longer fully in the crypto market, but bitcoin progress will continue to increase as the population of its users grows in various countries, and I am optimistic that by the end of this year bitcoin will reach $ 5000.

I think 5k will be seen before December.  Bitcoin have an incoming upgrade that may set the price to skyrocket, why?  Because it is that foundation of the fix for bitcoin scaling.  From here Bitcoin will start to become bullish because of the fork hype and possibly reach $5000 before mid December.  I might say $6000 is much possible at the end of this year.
1297  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 04, 2017, 12:58:19 PM
If you look after 5  Years from here no one is going to use paper currency very few only going to handle paper currency.

So Bitcoin is going to rule the world as of now world wide we are dealing with Bitcoin so it is already International currency in digital mode.

I disagree, it wil take more than 5 years to phase out paper currency.  There will always a country that wil fall behind and these countries will be the one using paper currency.  Yes other advanced country may use digital currency but I bet they will get a hard time removing paper wallet in the circulation.  So I guess it will take more than 5 years to do so.  About Bitcoin, I think bitcoin being alternative currency best suited as being international currency.
1298  Economy / Economics / Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A NASTY DIVORCE AND A FAT BTC WALLET? on: October 04, 2017, 01:47:29 AM
I wouldn't tell them about my BTC and if ever my wife found out about it, oh well I'll let the court decide.  If they go with the decision that I have to share half of it then what would I do but to share.   There are certain criteria where I can decide on what to do like the x wife want fiat , so I can give her fiat equivalent of BTC, if not then she will definitely get half of the BTC, courts order remember/  But I will try to appeal to nullify it as much as possible.
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make a win-win situation for both government and digital currency ? on: October 04, 2017, 12:26:30 AM
How a government can still manage its control over currency and finance without harshly regulating digital currencies ? Can we ever have a win-win situation ? Is there any economic model for decentralized currencies ?

I think it is so hard to regulate something that the main essence is to be decentralize, meaning you want to control a thing that don't want to be controlled. I think the best shot for governments to do in this thing is to put a proper department or branch of their government in filtering cryptocurrency scene instead of banning or shutting it down as a whole because hindering it will not cure the cause instead it just worsen it.

We all witnessed in how modern technology really adopt from the real world to the world of virtual, and we are here to the point that in digital world we embraces the digital currency so meaning the force of strong digital police must born if governments really want to help their citizens in their country for the future cryptocurrencies.

I agree it is hard if to regulate if the main purpose of the government is to take over the digital currency themselves.  But I think if they are too regulate transactions, I think it is not that hard.  Government needs exchange platform to be licenses so that they can have access to the reports of these exchanges.  And we all know people cannot take profit if they do not trade on these exchanges.  So I guess government just need to go to exchanges and ban a p2p selling.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 03, 2017, 10:59:59 PM
In my country Bitcoin is money.  It was first identified as suspicious digital token so government warn us about it in 2014, but later this 2016, our government declare it as legal tender and eventualy as payment and money.  My government saw it as high potential digital currency so they are now into legalizing exchanges here in my country. Probably we can see a China like action to those non licensed exchanges since our government requires bitcoin exchange to have licenses for operation since they are dealing with money.
