1301  Economy / Services / Re: [SELL] Voucher advertising dailybitcoins.org on: September 08, 2013, 02:26:21 AM
you can generate vouchers for bigger amounts.  you might want to check you are not violated their terms by reselling your free codes first and then if you can generate a new voucher after you redeem all your codes, combining them into 1 large amount.
But its kinda risky for a buyer if selling your free codes if not allowed.

To comply with necessary identification protocols for the Department of Treasury's KYC (Know your Customer) and AML (Anti Money Laundering) our machines will include bio-metric scanners that will either scan the users retina or the users fingerprint and will limit daily purchases by a single person.

Shocked Are you sure you want try something like this in a country like that?  If you redid the poll and mentioned the "protocols" i think the results would be quite different.  I think ATMs would be great but not like this.  Are we all criminals?  Why would anyone subject themselves to retina scans and fingerprinting to get some BTC?
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: September 08, 2013, 12:18:16 AM
OK my entire balance converted to stake... WTF?

How much are we talking about?  It should go back into your Balance after the PoS blocks confirm, with a tiny bit extra.
I am generating this piss out of PoS blocks right now; but it only stakes a few hundred at a time, and they return once 70 confirms pass.
Currently, I have 550.19 STR staked on 9 PoS blocks that are going to earn a whopping 0.11 STR.  Most are 0.01 or 0.02 each, but I've had some be as high as 0.12 before.

I also generated a twice-per-day block worth 3901 STR!

I had appx 2400 and it did go back... freaked me out...

you must have sent 2400 to an account.  POS is generated on the whole amount of previous transaction.  the way to avoid lots of micro stakes is to sent all your coins to one address and the next POS will use that whole amount, afterwards its divides by half and you will have 2 seperate stakes the following week for those amounts and so on - So now you will have 2 x 1200 unspents, and after POS next week you will have 4 x 600 unspents and it wil generate 4 x POS the following week which will split into 8 x 300 unspents etc.
After a few weeks you can can consolidate it all by sending everything to a new address and the next stake will be for 1 x what you sent.  If you don't want to stake the whole amount, you can also reserve some.

You can see your unspent amounts by typing listunspent in console.  POS will generated on each of those amounts when they become eligible so if you have a lot of small amounts it would be a good idea to send them all to one address, otherwise you will get ALOT micro stakes of 0.01 etc instead larger amounts of interest, Maybe its all these micro amounts being staked that causing issues with cryptsy?

1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sent my coins from BitcoinQT to blockchain.info, client crashed, no transaction? on: September 07, 2013, 11:49:55 PM
run the wallet with -rescan or on windows you can make a shortcut to the qt and add "-rescan" in the properties, let it run, it will take some time.
also seeing you have crashes, if you are not already i suggest you should keep a backup or 2 of your wallet.dat, it save your life if your wallet.dat got corrupted because of a another crash.

edit: actually i misread that, this won't help you as you can see tx in your wallet.

I thought it was about choice and leaving the restrictions of the nanny state behind.  You have the freedom to choose for yourself what you invest or buy into,  you don't need to be told what to do.

How do i log into chat?  All i get is a login box that says "Authentication failed".  Do i use my site usename/pass or is this something i sign up for somewhere else?

Nice looking site, very slick layout!  UI has a Hollywood/Movie feel to it Cheesy

You have to click on "Create account" in the top-left corner of the chatbox. Smiley

Chat usernames are seperated from PhenixEx accounts.

Cheers!

lol thanks, thought that bit was a title for the chat box. Cheesy

1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to buy Zetacoin? on: September 04, 2013, 01:57:06 AM
You can't buy Zetacoin using USD. You have to buy BTC using USD then buy Zetacoin using your BTC.

You are mistaken there, it is quite possible to buy with USD.  There are no laws against it Smiley

How do i view the price in BTC when browsing?

This is something we are working on and I apologize that it is not yet available.

Our prices are listed in USD and converted to BTC at the checkout using BitPay. You can find the exchange rate used here.

The current rate is 129.1979USD for 1 BTC.

If the product you are interested in is listed at $500USD you can find the cost in BTC using the following formula

500/129.1979 = 3.8700 BTC

Cool, nice site btw Smiley
Interested in getting a new phone, are the ones you sell unbranded/unlocked?  Do LTE features work on other networks outside Australia that have upgraded?
