Yet another FPGA coin with no premine but instamine and nothing new.

"coinbasevalue" : 20200000000,
"charityvalue" : 20000000000,

Very nice.
Continuous premine.

1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CommunityCoin (COMM) | Pure PoS | Original COMM MultiPools Coming Soon on: June 09, 2014, 03:29:53 PM
I would like to share an idea of future coin development.

Here is my proposal: add a feature to wallet to lock coins for a long period of time. Call it Proof Of Long Hold/Stake for example and offer slightly increased interest rate.

The idea:

1. User send special amount of coins to special address in his wallet.
2. After a months he will receive his special amount + extended reward.
3. Coins unspendable during this period.

Just like proof of burn, but coins always back after a long period of time + reward.

Or just a special kind of staking when coins locked for a long period (2 weeks or 1 month). So coins are unspendable and can not be dumped hard. Such blocks can require 10K confirmations for example to make sure that coins are unspendable.

Dev, do you like it?

Update: How to determine what address is suitable for such kind of stake? Just send a special amount, 1,999,999 coins for example, than wallet will stake it immediately. To avoid possible attacks, such addresses must be filled with special amount in a single transaction. Pretty simple to implement.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ CAIx Foundation is now live! ★★★★ on: June 09, 2014, 02:57:25 PM
I will admit, the foundation is too complicated and useless for an average user.

Ok, here is my proposal: add a feature to wallet to lock coins for a period of time. Call it Proof Of Long Hold for example and offer 10x interest rate.

The idea:

1. User send special amount of coins to special address in his wallet.
2. After a months he will receive his special amount + extended reward.
3. Coins unspendable during this period.

Or just a special kind of staking when coins locked for a long period. Special amout of coins in one transaction sent to wallet will stake with extended interest rate and such blocks will require 1000x confirmations.

Unfortunately multi-algo = welcome all kinds of dumpers. Now you just following MYR. You forgot about SMS wallet.

Some people doesn't know a lot of thing regarding how a crypto-currency works. Like me, I don't know everything about the crypto-world. But one thing is sure : I know the basics, when other are saying shit.

Multi-algo = potentially more miners = more trade volume = more secured network = potentially better for merchant adoption

That's all you have to understand. No more! Moreover, even if DGB will be a MYR like, devs will improves the multi-algo system. That's said, it's not a simple copy-paste of MYR, but an improvment with DGB's devs touch.

Tell me if you disagree or if I have wrong, but I don't think DGB is going on the wrong way.

More miners = more dumpers. That's what you have to understand.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 09, 2014, 10:35:24 AM
There is no way to transfer more than 30 qcn at a time?
every time I try it says that my transaction is too large

Due to a lot of dust from pool. Try to send 1 or 0.5 QCN many times.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ CAIx Foundation is now live! ★★★★ on: June 09, 2014, 07:36:10 AM
Dev probably can consider a second wave of masternodes, I believe a lot of people wanna participate.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ CAIx Foundation is now live! ★★★★ on: June 09, 2014, 07:27:18 AM
I was a fan of this coin, but this Master Nodes thingy is way too complicated. I cannot stake all the time due to my job traveling so miss out. I'm sure others are not able to either. If it was was a few days cycle or a week, maybe, but a month is really too long.

I think you need to rethink this Stuhlman. The price has suffered during this debacle. You've had some great ideas, but this is not one of them IMHO.

You can always run digitalocean VPS for $5/month. Compile daemon there and leave it online. It's easy.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GlyphCoin - X11 - PoW/PoS | 0% premine on: June 09, 2014, 03:14:18 AM

Thank you, I'll test it. Tweet @BittrexExchange show them some love and they will add coin.

Update: it works on 10.8. Update icon, it's ugly white rectangle.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DUMP SCRYPT, SCRYPT-N COINS (litecoin, doug etc...) BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!! on: June 08, 2014, 06:31:44 PM
Yeah, VTC is the one and only coin I am mining for months. Stupid to mine Scrypt and X11 on GPU. X13 will be also FPGA coin soon. No alternatives.

Vertcoin is scrypt-n.

Scrypt-N is cool, there is no ASICs for this algo.

Awesome news from https://github.com/wolf9466/cpuminer-multi developer.
New edge optimization just pushed by dev. You can get up to 25% increase to your hashrate on Linux!

Go mine on http://qcn.hashinvest.ws/ pool. Instructions there.

Mac users, check it!

Unfortunately I have no resources to run VM with OSX for testing at home, I'll probably do it on monday. I hope you guys understand me.

There is a wallet already, I have just compiled and it works.

Yeah, how many linux users here, 1.60%? Success.  Grin

I think dev is instamining now.

You are able to compile from sources at other platforms too, unless you're missing some basic skills.
If so you need to learn fast or give up many coins.

 Roll Eyes yeah compiling doesn't normally (call us crazy here..) involve fixing the wallet first so that it points to the right files, no?

Why can't people understand that 99.9% of "devs" here are just lame morons like their miners? They know nothing about software development. Clone repo, substitute your coin name, change a couple of constants with coin supply and you are a dev nowadays. Other 0.09% of devs are know something and successfully scamming people with their "innovations". The rest are good devs, but they are like unicorns.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GlyphCoin - X11 - PoW/PoS | 0% premine on: June 08, 2014, 10:51:52 AM
Net hashrate - 940,842.77 KH/s  Huh  Huh  Huh

Surprising for those who still believe that X11 is "new home for GPU miners".

    "difficulty" : {
        "proof-of-work" : 61.36527735,
        "proof-of-stake" : 0.00024414
    },

My solo is over now, thanks to everyone, see ya on bittrex or polo... in my dreams.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GlyphCoin - X11 - PoW/PoS | 0% premine on: June 08, 2014, 09:59:56 AM
x11 = dead

x13, scrypt jane or qrk is required now if you don't want to burn electricity against fpga and asic

You forget about Scrypt-N.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GlyphCoin - X11 - PoW/PoS | 0% premine on: June 08, 2014, 09:58:51 AM
So the only pool is a quick wintercoin copy and requires a non existant wallet address to sign up. Yeah..

Try enter xxx instead of address.
