1301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can copy trading be profitable on: May 18, 2023, 06:08:40 PM
Is copy trading worth it

Can I make 20$ per day if I have 2000$

You asked big question without providing much details to your question because I don't know how you plan to gain $2000 from copying trades from other experience traders. You can earn such amount from copy trading with a large capital, with a $10k capital, a trade of 20% is enough to give you that profit but I am not sure if you have that amount of money in your wallet or trading wallet. I don't like it when traders do copy trading but one thing about copy trading is that they are very profitable during the bull run, or when the market is very bullish, few calls would change your life but they are very risky in a bear market.
1302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning online more preferable than offline? on: May 18, 2023, 06:00:27 PM
Earning money online is far superior to working at a physical establishment during the day. Although offline is highly appreciated and difficult. Trading is a great approach to find your true self. It will put everything to the test, including your greed, emotions, patience, discipline, how you handle failure, control, common sense, and resolve. I strongly advise anyone who is going through a terrible time in their life to learn to trade since it provides them a clear sense of purpose other than waiting for jobs. So, which is better, online or offline?

Seems you have not work in a high company before that is why you are saying this kind of thing. If not for Computer related jobs, is there any online job that would sustain you for that long? May be been a self employ where you want to dedicated life but as for trading, it should be a side businness, the day you lose all, you will have to start from another angle of life, I have seen a good Youtubers who trade for real life lose almost $100k of there life and it was there physical business that help them out.

There are some physical jobs Like working in a company like Gas exploration and oil mainstream, jobs like been a medical doctor are such kind of jobs you can live for instead of trading but life is not fair to some people, one of the shortest way to earn is trading and shouldn't been use to be more value than physical jobs.
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: May 17, 2023, 09:49:27 PM
First of all I'm not a real trader, but I like to trade to earn small amount profit.

I only use BTC/USDT pair because USDT make me easier to determine how much my coins worth after trade and most liquid stable coin, the reason why I choose BTC is I don't need to worry about it when my trading goes wrong. So if I bought Bitcoin at the peak and the price keep decreasing, I will not sell it, but I will wait for the next super cycle where Bitcoin usually break new ATH.

Keep in mind I never learn about chart, candlestick, trend etc, all of my decision come from my mood and instinct. No stop limit, no follow any signal, no watching my PC for 24/7 etc, just directly buy and sell.

Is there anyone like me here? Cheesy

If you are not trading to make money, then you are trading for pleasure and you just want to test your knowledge because I have not seen a trader that will say he doesn't like profit much in trading. Literally, that is the motivation of every person in trading, they buy low and sell at high price but I still don't underdtand why you don't like much profits to be made so much.

You see that strategy you are doing, you will lose all your capital and nothing will be left for you if you fail to learn about what you do, you should learn to understand the chart very well, undertand the trendline and also candlestick. The BTC/USD is easier because it is the first and that's more trusted by crypto community but not every like that pair because if you don't have enough money to trade, you wouldn't enjoy it.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 17, 2023, 09:21:59 PM
Manchester City 4 - 0 Real Madrid. Previously Bayern Munich also could not scored at home Manchester City. At the moment Real Madrid also could not scored and can be beaten, even by score 4. I already said that this is very little chance for Real Madrid to win at home Manchester City, and well this proved clear tonight. Real Madrid is indeed the king of comebacks but that was previous season, at the moment their squad is weak although there is Benzema but he is not young anymore also he not very productive this season.

Real Madrid are not king of miracle, they were just luck gave them an opportunity to used their chances, instead of it to be wasted as shot on target, they use it to score goal and that was how they move to the final but Manchester City were ready for that mistake not to happen agaain. Manchester City played Real Madrid and litereally took everything away from them, I can count number of times the camera show Manchester CIty players but Cotois was having pressure from every angle, Manchester City were using there attackers to tackle Real Madrid and the rest where defending and yet I don't know how Manchhester City got Real Madrid easily.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 14, 2023, 10:47:08 PM
Is it really true that Chelsea have agreed upon terms with Mauricio Pochettino? Because I have started to see some news about this agreement on some websites. There is no official statement from Chelsea side maybe but let's see. Maybe there is already a verbal agreement between two sides. If Pochettino is the new coach then it might be good for Chelsea maybe.

Because Pochettino is already familiar with the league and he has a big experience with a decent PL team like Tottenham for years as well. There is another rumour about him like he wants Mount to stay at Chelsea. Mount hasn't had a good season so far but maybe Pochettino can win him back to the team again.

There has been some progress according to Fabrizio Romano but there no detail information on there agreement, but Pochettino will be going to london to finish the deal, no doubt they don't have anyone as alternative to signed for Chelsea, he is the one for the club and the future of the club, I hope he doesn't disappoint Todd Boehly, there is high hopes from him to revive the team to where they are. If by next season he try and make Chelsea finish top 4, it will encourage lots of people who have lost interest in the club activities and the number of people that do turn to watch games in Stamford Bridge.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Deposits-in the bank or in gold? on: May 14, 2023, 10:03:23 PM
How to save savings in inflation, there are many deposits provided by the bank, but banks often go bankrupt, does it make sense to buy gold? How is gold bought in a bank and interest is issued on it?

That is not how bank work and that is not how bankrupcy result. If a bank announce today that they are filling for brankrupcy, it means that their debt is more than what they can handle, their total reserve cannot settle the debts and customers they owe, so when they fill for that, all customers must be ready to take their losses, the customers may not or may have some money back, depends on the condition of the bank prior to when they announced the bankrupcy. Whether you deposit fiat or gold, it doesn't matter, gold will not protect you anytime there bankrupcy; a word of advice, avoid the bank if you can do it.
1307  Economy / Economics / Re: South Africa in trouble. on: May 14, 2023, 09:14:53 PM
The recent accusation by US Ambassador Reuben E. Brigety that South Africa sent arms to Russia is making investors sell off the South African rand and bonds. Investors are scared that the US and its allies will hit the country with severe economic sanctions. The rand has lost value since the news was published, the currency is now 19.3250 against the dollar, its weakest in three years.

If it is confirmed that South Africa sent weapons and ammunition to Russia, the country will suffer economic problems because of sanctions. It will also be a big blow to the African economy because South Africa is the economic powerhouse of Africa. Many South African countries like Zimbabwe, Botswana Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini, etc, depend on South Africa economically. South Africa also employs a greater number of Africans because they have many striving multinational firms.

As an African, I pray this accusation is not true because a sanction on South Africa is a sanction on the entire Africa.

So because US is ordained and specially created by God, they have supreme power to rule the world the way they like, who is US? An entity cannot rule forever, if they brought Democracy to the world to follow, they should also know that and lead by example that another country will take from where they stop. Whatever Russia is doing today, they learned it from US and they graduated and upgraded their own and US now feel threaten, they better don't do anything silly or come close to Africa, the world is not like how it used to be, things have change, if they sanction South Africa, there are wide alternatives and the earth will remain the same.
1308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Morning Routine have any Effect as a Day Trader? on: May 14, 2023, 08:45:25 PM
Do you have a morning routine as a day trader? I find
that  whenever I follow my morning routine before trading, my focus is unbeatable in the charts and analysis. I usually wake up by 6am and start with cardio or just walk my dog. Next is a light breakfast. Eating light meals is essential because I won't feel very heavy and dull. And on some days, depending on how I feel, I skip breakfast totally for some homemade juice. I repeat my mantra several times ," today is already a great day." After which I go to my computer and start trading. On somedays I make good profits on some other days, I don't. Overall, my morning routine keeps me mentally prepared to face the day. Kindly share some of your morning routine before trading.

Eating light meal is very important, a heavy meal will make you dull or sleep off. Anytime I eat heavy meal, I don't understand my self when I consume heavy food, its either I feel sleeping off facing the screen or I end up sleeping with my laptop on. As a trader, daily excercise is very important because human can also developed side effects sickness of too much of sitting down, I personally developed pile when I sit down for long period of time and I find it difficult to ease myself when that happen and because of that, I don't sit down for long period of time, day trading is not for me.
1309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: May 14, 2023, 06:17:11 PM
Hello everyone,

I’ve lately been trying alot of different ways to start making money but something in me tells me trading could be really fun and exciting to get into. Unfortunately I can’t afford to invest much right now so I’ve managed to invest around 20$ to get started. I’d really appreciate if you all could let me know if what i am doing is worth it or am I just wasting time?

Kind regards,
Human

I want to come straight to you, $20 is very small to start a spot trading, for every 10% in every of your successful trade, you will only make $2 at the end of the day and that is whole stress you are putting yourself under. Having 10% in this market condition is very difficult because Bitcoin has been going up and down with a minor differences and it is affecting the altcoins and the only trades that can give you such profit is the altcoins.

What I will advise is that, husle for more capital and increase it to $50, you will enjoy trading with that amount, you will enjoy it more if you increase above that but the least I will like you to try is that amount, and please don't do margin trading and future trading, you will lost your money in a twinkle of an eye.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 13, 2023, 07:02:02 PM
-snip-
It's a shame that this match was passed by Newcastle because they really failed to maximize playing against a club whose performance was far below them.
The match ended with 1 point for both teams which of course although this is still quite good but it's a shame for Newcastle because they could have been more than that.
Their mastery in attack dominance and possession was very good but Leeds also played very well in this match even though they had to lose 1 player in the last minutes but they were really good at maximizing 1 point against a club that was actually better than them.
Yes, unfortunately it is like that. Newcastle couldn't win against Leeds, I already guessed this would happen. But at least Newcastle didn't lose, because Leeds missed a golden opportunity in the first half through a penalty shot, if Bamford success to get a goal maybe now Leeds will get three points. But this draw is also not too bad for Newcastle, they are still in third place above Manchester United, although they have the same points, but Newcastle have an advantage from the goals different.

I was hoping Newcastle would defeat Leeds as well, but it was a dull game between the two clubs. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed with Newcastle; I just thought they could have done more. But that's football for you. But despite the game ending draw Newcastle doesn't have anything to loose since they are still maintaining there position. And Crystal Palace did well today played with confidence i was impressed.

My Chelsea family members should take note: even for  next season, success is not assured. So let's mentally get ready for the worst while hoping for the best. That's for the Chelsea  fans.

Lead City is trying to avoid relegation zone, it is safe to say that the match was fair for them to open the match with a goal and close the match to equalized with Newcastle that was priviledge with a penalty. Newcastle should have done better though, but I think Lead City played well in the first half but all went under the water in the second half, Newcastle rule them throughout the second leg.

Chelsea can improve next season but first, they need a tough manager that would be under pressure to bring the players into form, they should also add more strikers with good track record that can make them proud, they will improve no matter what has happen to them this season.

Of course, Mourinho won't let them lose, Roma will struggle enough in Serie A, and they will target the Europa League trophy at this time. Mourinho knows exactly what he has to do for it all.
If Roma get to the finals, I will bet fully that Roma will win against whichever team they face. The special one has been in the finals of many competitions as coach of the underdog team but somehow with his brilliant coaching tactics, he does the job even if not cleanly, but he does the Job. I will like to see Roma win the Europa for the sake of the coach, the players and the supporters of the club who have believed in them.

I don't think, Roma can win this Europa league title because Manchester city will never allow such mistake that will make Roma to embrace this title to come through in this season than to use their new tactics to create more opportunity that will give them victory at the end of the tournament. Despite, Roma defeated Leverkusen 1-0 in their home doesn't mean Roma are strong to win this Europa league title, because Leverkusen will definitely make the match difficult for Roma in their second leg and Leverkusen will like to use home advantage to equalize the goal and still achieve victory at the end of the match to eliminate Roma from the competition. And there is a hope for Manchester city to defeat Real Madrid in their second leg because they are good in using home advantage to embrace victory which they will definitely make it happen.

Manchester City are not in Europa, I can't remember the last time they played this league because they don't have it in their record, they have always been the Premier League winners but if they are here, I don't think there will be an open discussion of who will emerge as the winner because there is no any club that will come close to them, all their matches will be a finishing result.

It seems your are combining two leagues together in one game, you are discussing Roma and leverkusen and then you jump into Real Madrid and Mancherster City, UEFA Europa League is different from UEFA Champions league. If you are seeing this notification, learn to check the threads before you rush to reply or if this is mistake from you, watch highlights and updates before you reply next time.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 13, 2023, 05:49:52 PM
Inter really did an incredible work while Lukaku wasn't in the starting eleven in the first leg. It seemed strange to me first that Inzaghi didn't prefer him as of the beginning of the game. But this still didn't affect Inter's playing style in a bad way. Those early goals were enough to secure a very decent score before the second leg. Now Inter have only one thing they should do which is to play a more controlled game.

I don't think that Inter should play defensive-oriented. Because this might be riskier for them as they would just let Milan come with so many dangerous attacks. Instead they can just be careful with their defending and apply their usual attacking strategies. If Milan's opponent was Juventus then I would like to see Juventus playing a defensive game in this case but I don't think that it is ideal for Inter.
Inter managed to take advantage of a bad game built by Milan at the start of the first half. Overall Inter's game didn't really dominate either. But thanks to the victory with a score of 2-0 it seems enough for Inter to set foot in Istanbul. In Leg 2 Inter will be a bit more relaxed and unencumbered, they just need to keep up the rhythm of the game and prevent the Milan players from taking over the game. I'm sure Inzaghi will have another strategy and maybe Lukaku will be included as a starter to chase goals.

I think the absence of Leao might have contributed to what made Milan to conceded two goals in the first leg and there loss didn't stop there, they have also lost another important match that would have put them upper place ahead of Inter in the Seria A table. This was the same mistake Napoli did, Milan seems to be taking the same foot print that let Napoli out of the Champions League in the Quarterfinal. The second leg wouldn't be a relaxing game as you have said because Leao will be coming back in the next match and Giroud is all boiling to play an aggressive match, anything that will give them 2+ will be their determination in the second leg.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 13, 2023, 05:31:11 PM
But I don't know what will happen later because after all Aubameyang is currently in poor form. I don't know if Diego Simeone will need him for next season or if he wants to keep Felix, but by wanting to sell Felix, Atletico Madrid wants his price tag at a high price.

Chelsea will have to make changes again for next season especially in terms of players but I don't think they will buy many players because there is a bit of a financial ban like what was reported maybe because Chelsea's income has decreased due to poor performance and unable to stabilize the club's finances.

But whatever Chelsea can do if no rules are broken.

If it weren't for the saturated transfer market filled with marketing and hype, Chelsea wouldn't have pursued Felix initially. However, it turned out to be a positive outcome since the original intention was to bring him in on loan. Had they signed him to a long-term contract, it would have been another disappointing acquisition, as they have had their fair share of underwhelming signings in the past.
Since it was a loan contract, they should release him back to Atletico Madrid and explore other options for talented strikers. Personally, I think they should seek a superior striker who can complement Sterling, because he is good and was the one who alleviated the pressure on Chelsea in today's match. Otherwise, it would have been another routine defeat for the team.

This is good news for Arsenal fans having one of their best attackers extend his contract to remain at the club for four years more, this will put off Manchester City from approaching their star player. Saka has been instrumental to Arsenal’s achievements in recent season and I’m sure the fans will be delighted to see him continue to improve and show his talent in Arsenal shirts.

As Saka continues to age and improve, his value also increases, I like this geometric progression but I'm wondering if Arsenal will truly sell him after the new 4-year contract expires, It may depends on what transpires during that time especially now that they have improved. Saka's dream has been built around Arsenal, and despite the racism he has faced, I doubt he would willingly leave the team even with the tempting offers that come in from other teams, they would have to be incredibly enticing to sway his decision.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 13, 2023, 04:57:27 PM
Didn't expect Nottingham to be above the relegation zone and be able to draw with Chelsea... Chelsea are really bad... With a game like that, they could end up in the relegation zone next season too... What is surprising is that they have a lot of good players in the team and such terrible results... Villa, on the other hand, have pleasantly surprised this season... They now have the same points as Spurs and have a chance of qualifying for the Conference League next season...

Nottingham Forest left relegation zone some days ago, the two matches they won against Southhampton and Brighton push them from that danger zone and today been luckily got out of Chelsea and at this point, we need to accept the fact that all the teams doesn't see Chelsea as a threat in Premier League or rather the remaining of the season matches, it is as if everyone see them as that vulnerable team they all keep exploiting even as they try to improve their playing stability against other teams.

Raheem Sterling change Chelsea match with 2 goals under ten minute of the second half but they let Taiwo Awoniyi slide through their defensive system and now the fans have given up on them and it is very bad of them to present that perception.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: May 12, 2023, 09:55:43 PM
[....]Do you think that government should have a rule or a law for election candidates not to have a franchise in any form of gambling,
It should be fine as long as it is legally operating in the country with complete papers. Why single out gambling by the way? We all know that many politicians enrich themselves in different ways and that includes though their personal investments. If you would prohibit politician businesses that related to gambling then why not just have a rule that they shouldn't own any business?
I guess if politicians will also be prohibited from owning businesses aside from gambling, isn’t it too unfair and hard on their part? Probably, there will be no politicians to run again in the election if that’s the case. My own take on this is that as long as those politicians are owning not illegal businesses, then they have all the right to continue their business operations and even expand it if they wish to. And I don’t think the government would adopt this kind of law as most of the highly elected government officials are already owning some businesses before they take part on politics.

Why rule out people for what they wish to have simply because of their positions in government, I don't blame people when they have negativity towards the politicians because I think they are just common people like us that are called to the office to serve the people and they have a payroll but their greed with exposure to wealth result to stealing and that is why people always see them as dirty and corrupt group, only a few of them are sometimes excluded as a clean person. The gambling business is a lucrative government and everyone should be allowed to participate so far they pay their taxes to the government and they don't involve themself in money laundry, there shouldn't be a law that could limit people from any investment.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ridiculous Bets that disappointed you on: May 12, 2023, 08:03:43 PM
Guys Share bets that disappointed you...
Disappointment is something that most gamblers are used to, and if it is not something you are used to as a gambler, you should prepare yourself. I have been disappointed many times gambling, but the most recent one I can recall is a recent sports game that Arsenal disappointed me a lot. The game that arsenal lost the lead they had to Westhampton was most disappointing recently. That game on bet for me was a straight win for Arsenal, we had the lead and it was supposed to end that way, but the game ended disappointingly in a draw.

It seems to me that if a person decides to gamble, he must accept that losing is more likely than winning and there is no point in getting upset about it. It is clear that sometimes we put too much hope on this or that outcome, but we all need to be more pragmatic when it comes to both gambling and betting on sporting events. Not having high hopes is always easier to accept a loss.

When you see gamblers upset, don't blame them, there are some games that will come as loss, no matter how you don't want to get angry, you wouldn't know when the anger return untill you remove those losses from your mind. If you are a sport bettor and have like 10 games, all where played well until the last one didn't go as you predicted, even if the money you put is very small, you will still be pained because of the team that wasted your ticket and the annoying thing is that they usually loss the match when the time is almost over for the match to end, no way you wouldn't be pain with such kind of losses.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 12, 2023, 07:33:16 PM
Manchester United have a backup plan for their goalkeeper position as it seems. If De Gea doesn't extend his contract then they are planning to make a move for Pickford. Actually De Gea is said to be ready to sign a contract extension soon. He is reported to be happy here and Manchester United must also be contented with his effort now. Because he is still continuing to make critical saves for his team to prevent worse results.
De Gea is Manchester by blood, it will be difficult to get used to seeing him being the goalkeeper in another premier league team or any tema less than Manchester United. He makes mistakes in some games, but that is normal with every player but we cannot say that he has not performed and save Manchester United many times in some very important games. The management of the club need to keep him till his retirement. He is currently 32.

De Gea is old enough to be replace, maybe they should use him when a substiture goal keeper is needed. I understand why Erik Teng doesn't want to ignore his error, right now they needed points to keep fit in the top four, I expect him to aggitate for that mistake with West Ham, he has played for the club all his entire peak carrier, he should retire now that he is still having the fame with the teams.

Manchester United has their next match against Wolves and that will determine their stand next week in the table because they are already shaking in their standing, I anticipate them to take a correction from the important match they lost against West Ham and take out Wolves, that 3 point is the only thing that will keep them in that top 4.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 12, 2023, 07:09:56 PM
When you summarize it, it all goes down to the "easy access" of the gambling sites in the world.
Cell phones/smart phones - If there is no application available for the gambling site, you can always use the browser of phone instead, if it won't work in mobile view then, you can use other browsers that have the feature of "desktop view". It's actually easy nowadays to create a solution for small problems like this.
Desktop/Laptops - According to ACS (American Community Survey) 89 percent of household today have a desktop or a laptop in their place. Internet connection is not a problem anymore because they are offering cheap prices for 10-25 mbps speed. Gambling sites doesn't need a super speed internet just to access it, most of them are text-based websites so loading a page won't be that long.

The internet has made outreach to people and typically, everyone can now do many things virtually without living their comfort zone and this has effected more people into gambling, there are some people through out their lifetime that has not visited a casino or any gambling house but through the internet, it has been easier from their door step, the internent also has a way of putting peer pressure among people by influencing others, some people gamble because they see their friends post about their winning and this is possible only through the help of the internet.

Quote
Marketing - We can now see celebrities endorsing the gambling sites. Even our heroes in the sport can now be paid to put the name of the gambling site in their shirts or jerseys or if they want more money, they can use their tongue and say the name of the site. Sponsorship. Every time we watch a sports event, any sport, you name it, we see their names being flashed on the screen.

According to the articles shared, sports betting will have the highest market gain in the next few years.
What do you think?

I saw a warning post about Premier League trying to limit the way clubs advertise and accept sponsorship deal from gambling sites and they will limit how people are expose to this, I think if more people continue to gamble, the government and the FIFA will be concern about it, I hope regulation don't screw the revenues they generate with all these limitations, it is possible sport betting to be the highest market gain but I fear what the regulations will do about it later due to level of addiction.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 12, 2023, 06:53:03 PM
Chelsea are trying to convince Atletico Madrid to swap Chelsea players with Felix, it is reported that with two players Aubameyang and Cucurella is this possible because it is felt that Chelsea will not be strong enough to make Felix permanent by buying.

Not so impressive for Felix for half a season maybe he hasn't found his identity with Chelsea but if he had stayed longer maybe he would have been much better as his performance.

Because Chelsea's current badness all affects its players so they can't do their best for Chelsea.

But how good is Joao Felix really? I know that he is strong with the ball and can accelerate very well and go into driblings, but is he really the offender that Chelsea needs? He has only 25 goals to his name in almost four years for Atletico Madrid. The numbers Chelsea is moving around for transfers are astronomical. If they decide to spend so much money anyway, why aren't they trying to get someone who could be even more expensive, but has an inbuilt goal scoring insurance so to say. Chelsea has a heavy problem in their offensive game with 34 goals in 34 games. I can't believe that these numbers are true, but they are. Joao Felix won't solve that problem.

You have a solid argument about Jaoh Felix, after going over his stats. I don't know who gave Chelsea that advice to bought a player that had 14 appearance with 4 goals in the whole of 2021/2022 in Laliga and they went ahead to sealed the deal with a $280k weekly wages, that is a waste of Chelsea reasources, the deal doesn't worth it because this season, his perfomance is not something they should be proud of in a loan deal.

You think Felix is the only player Chelsea has a good striker, what happen to Havertz they were using before? There situations may be bad but I will choose Havertz over Felix because even with the more numbers of appearance and lower goal, they should have utilize and trained him better but seems they are more interested in what is in their mind and not what the team are doing.
