781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 14, 2023, 06:33:33 PM
When I gamble, I don't take it seriously because my gambling is really just a hobby. If I win, it's fine; there's no problem if I always lose. Because I do it just for fun and sometimes just to relieve stress.

That's how I treat gambling here in the crypto gaming business. So I know for myself that I will not lead to addiction. This is something that sometimes I don't understand with other gamblers: why they let their passion for gambling lead to addiction when they can control themselves if they really want to.

Well, that's the hard truth many failed to realized. I can't bet more than I can afford to lose and if I layer loss, I don't count it as anything, will just take it as normal daily thing and move on to the next net if available. If you gamble this way, you don't have to deal with addiction as they so say, you will hardly run into debt because you don't play amount that is bigger to put you into financial problems, you will hardly go to the length of borrowing money or default loans which is great strategy. It may be painful if you lose matches or games you have high hopes on but when you sit down for a minute and think, it's worth thinking about.

I think it's easy to say that if you are holding crypto, it's so easy to consume the pains of losses, the only difference is that gambling take away everything while crypto still have something you can use to recover if you hold strong but even with gambling, right strategy and skill will mount your winnings consistently and get back from those loses you had earlier.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 14, 2023, 05:54:04 PM
Although Arsenal are in good form, they will not forget last season's 1-0 defeat against Everton. And Arsenal have lost their last two away matches against Everton. But Arsenal won the home match. The next match is Arsenal's away match. Arsenal are not going to win even though they are strong. Considering the statistics, Everton team will be ahead. However, I would still say Arsenal will make no mistake in this match. They must have learned from their previous mistakes. If Arsenal want to go to the top of the table then Arsenal must get full points in this match. If not, Arsenal may not even be in the top 5/6 of the points table.
If we look at the history of meetings between Arsenal and Everton then of course we can see something unique that happened to these two clubs. Namely, Arsenal always lose when they play at home to Everton. And likewise, Everton always loses when they play against Arsenal. And this has been the case for several seasons. But this time I hope things will be different. Because seeing Everton's unpredictable performance at the start of this season and Arsenal's more expected performance is a fact at the start of this season. Eh, but wait, Everton also played quite badly last season. But at that time Everton had just got a new coach, namely Sean Dyche and at that time Sean Dyche managed to make Everton win as hosts against Arsenal. Initially I was convinced of Arsenal's superiority. But if I remember the results of the matches between these two teams in several seasons, it makes me a little confused about which club to stand for in this match.

It's understandable that when a club has a home match, they make sure they win it no matter what so that they don't get shame by the fan base and their supporters. The reason why Arsenal always win their matches when they met with Everton in Emirates stadium and why Everton always win too in Goodison Park. But have you look at what Everton has been playing for a while? They lost to many clubs Arsenal has beaten and even drew their last match with Sheff United, I don't think Everton are in their right mentality to win Arsenal even if the match is going to take place in Goodison Park, it's 100% win for Arsenal.

The Premier League is back and most of the teams are back from the international break, the ones that have double or triple league to battle will start this week and next but I don't think Everton has any other league to really compete or fight, just Premier League. It's shouldn't be that hard for them to win atleast first match in the Premier league to find a good place in the table, relegation early is how most them turn to the most less performing team till the end of the season.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Features on any Banking or Financial apps should be Removed on: September 14, 2023, 04:36:59 PM
[....]
Now talking about this case that the op posted, there is nothing wrong with gambling, in the same way that cars that can kill people when they drive badly, there is nothing wrong with it, the problem lies with people who have no sense, if The country's laws allow casinos to pay for advertising anywhere, including in banks, so there is nothing wrong with the bank's app having options to finance a gambling account, it is up to each person to have judgment, to know how to manage their own money, be aware that gambling is not something to make a profit, but rather is a form of fun.
I agree with this.

It doesn't really make much of a difference in a person's gambling activity if he could access betting directly from a banking app. A gambling app is most likely downloaded separately on his phone anyway. My only concern here is the security involved in connecting your funds to third party apps like e-gaming. Their security guys are probably top tier but still.

I don't understand why people see gambling so badly, I don't know for others though but I haven't seen a person in person that gambling has rubbish or destroyed life as they put. I have seen people take stupid risk though like using their school fees thinking they could double it and for that, I understood their frustration if been a student and looking for alternatives to make money for feeding or getting some swag up clothes but then, even if they lost their games, they do find a way to pay that money before they close the portal and after that, they are fine with their studies, gambling isn't really the way they hype the downside of it, it can be addicted but sometimes, we need to calm down with the addiction discussions.

Can we even deny that Bank Apps are not useful for making deposit for Casinos that accept fiat? It's a choice, if you like the feature use it and if u don't, terminate it and if you must quit the bank, register another bank that doesn't have such features, it's as simple as that. I love the Banks features because they don't support only betting, they also allow you pay TV cables like Netflix, electricity bill, water bills and others which is cool for me instead of doing it in the web with debit card.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 14, 2023, 04:28:18 PM
I don't think Newcastle can be favourites. Maybe they can get out of the group, but they will definitely have difficulties from here on. It's their first season in the Champions League and they have no experience at all. And they will have to try hard to play in the domestic league.
There's no favourite club to win this group. Almost all of those teams are powerful enough to win the group. Although Newcastle's performance was disappointing, there is always the possibility that they could follow in the footsteps of Chelsea and turn things around.
Struggled at the domestic league, but it was able showing great performance in UCL. PSG was not so strong at this moment. PSG may face difficulty in beating its competitor.
This is not newcastle's first season in UCL. Around a decade ago was the last time Newcastle participated in the UCL, which feels like a distant memory. Everything changes now.
Newcastle has a good team that needs to get more chemistry. Im aware if newcastle struggle in english premier league but moyes needs to put all of his focus into the UCL now.

If there is favorite in winning the trophies, many of our clubs favorite will now have one of the most trophies, even while they are still knockout, we still shift the support to another club and they still get eliminated. Who would have thought Napoli and Inter will really move this fast last season. Inter was even better to get to the final and battle with Manchester City till their last pressure dropped and conceded a goal that made them loss in the final else I'm confidence that those guys will frustrate Manchester City to the penalty. Newcastle or their group is not different right now, anyone can disqualify or make it out of the group stage.

Wasn't Barcelona the top of Laliga last season but they got kick out of the Champions League, they went to Europa to play kcockout and was again kicked out from there and that humiliation is something Xavi will not like to see again. So expect the expected and any team that are in the group need to do their best, not a do or die league.

I want to ask those of you who have a hard addiction experience in gambling and then you can treat it yourself, and today still playing gambling but with the principle of good management and financial management in gambling.
I want to know how you break away from the addiction, you can mention the actions taken or what kind of steps? And how long do you need time to break away from the addiction that has been experienced?

"I want to find out because I think your experience in the case as I mentioned will be useful for readers, especially for me personally"

There are two types of addicted gamblers in my opinion, those that made some mistakes and turned to heavy gamblers but unrealizing their mistakes, they take correction and adjust the way they play and the other are gamblers that turned to be an addicted gambler but failed to take correction about the habit of gambling. If you are a serious gambler and a very concerned one for that, you don't need any one to share their experience or how they got out because the situation might be different, yours could be as a result of over playing and mine could be as a result of making wrong choice of bets.

So, play your thing and keep up with what you do best, don't over depends on gambling, when you lost, take a break and if it's minor, change strategy and your skill, luck will locate you the next time you bet.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: September 13, 2023, 06:29:58 PM

this thread reminds of me of what happened to Stake recently where they just got hacked. not sure if the coins of the users were also compromised but hopefully not after all Stake is very rich and can refund all.

but what happens if it weren't stake.com? if it was just a casino that isn't very well known and only a few thousand in their budget for refunds then you lost your coins as if you are scammed.

If you are a company like stake and was compromised of such amount of money, will you say that the customers money was compromised? Of course no. They will not announce any damage control so as not to make people panic, they will make it look like as if nothing happened and find a means to cover up. This kind of loss can take years of revenue before they recover and if they successfully caught the culprits, they will recover fast but right now, the guys have not spend the money from the wallet and nothing has been found so far from the lead.

To gamble, you have to keep your money on the exchange but I'm not sure if those money on users balance are reall, they could be dummy text t represent the equivalent amount they have under the betting platforms and when it's time to withdraw, they pay the owner to their destination address. But if that's their real money on the platform, many betting platforms that do that will by now learn lesson from stake and find alternative that is better.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 13, 2023, 02:27:39 PM
Arsenal got a good spot I must concur and PSV has always been a worthy competition in getting  the team the three points they need. For the preliminary stages, I ain't scared until it gets to when the pressure of premier league and other league matches starts bumping weekend in, weekend out.
What the gunners need is a team that doesn't lack stamina or whose muscles bow to cramps once the game gets above 90minutes.

PSV can be a difficult team and I really wonder how competitive they can be against Arsenal. This year, Arsenal is starting to work with Arteta to avoid making the mistakes they made last year. They managed to become a young and offensive team. I don't think PSV can withstand them.

PSV are good and Arsenal having their first ecounter against them is good. Do you know? PSV might have a good dominance in matches against Arsenal but this time, If Arteta see things differently and was able to win them in the first round 1 group matches, the rest of the matches for Arsenal is going to be a bonus for Arsenal because the only team I think Arsenal should be mindful is PSV and having win them in the first round will be advantage for them, not only just that but the journey to beat other teams after that will be easy to accomplish.

If Arsenal could push Manchester United to concede 3 goals in EPL which is consider as one of the toughest league in the world, who is PSV that they can't pieces. Anything can happen but this is what the current Arsenal form can do because we are gunners and about history, they are not different from Arsenal in the Champions League; the last time they won, many of their players are not yet born.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 13, 2023, 02:11:46 PM
Everton showed a lot of improvement in their last game against Sheffield United. They got the first goal and went down to two goals to one. But they fought hard to get the equalizer and secured the deserved one point. Although they have lost three last games before the draw, they can still surprise Arsenal. The Gunners is a good side but they have to be careful because, in the game of football, anything can happen.

There still haven't been many good changes for Everton this season through four games. Getting a draw in their last match against Sheffield United, Everton have still not shown any signs that they can pose a serious challenge when they face top teams like Arsenal this week.
In football, anything can happen, but to win against Arsenal, it will be difficult for them. The maximum result for them against Arsenal is probably a draw. More than that, I don't dare to assume because Arsenal this season is very ambitious to correct the mistakes that occurred last season in winning the title at the end of the season.

Out of 38 matches that Everton had in Premier League last season, they only manage to win 2 and draw 2 and that was how they luckily escape the relegation, should that mean they used 8 points velocity to overcome relegation, if not they will probably be out of Premier League this season and seeing them starting on a wrong foot the beginning of the season didn't surprise me either; Only time will tell if they will remain after the season or not because been here has not been fruitful for Everton.

Farhad Moshiri has seen Everton as unsuccessful business, no wonder they have been working hard to sell the club to 777 partners, if the deal go right, Everton is going to see a lot changes but if Jack Harrison the new manager is able to changes the performance of the team, who knows if he is going to make a change of plans since he just assumed office less than a month and seeing that he has a track record in Leed City, perhaps that will reflect here.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 13, 2023, 01:17:29 PM
Different people with different approach to gambling. Some prefer committing huge capital to high probability small odds while others prefer using small capital to target big wins. There are many reasons for each of these approaches.

While those that put huge capital win more often, their losses are usually painful. On the other hand, those that commit small capital to make huge wins rare win but when they do, they win big; their losses too are less painful. There are other advantages and disadvantages for both approaches but for the sake of this discussion, let's know which approach you think is better and why?

Gambling and luck happens once in a while and I can confidently tell you that I have seen a gambler bet $1=#920 to win $2100(#1,932,000, that's good amount in NGN) for playing sporty of 2100. I count the number of matches on his bet slip and I what I saw was astonishing, the guy predicted 21 matches both basketball and football and all went as he predicted. That's to show you how lucky some people are with gambling, so whether big amount or small amount, there are gamblers that are naturally lucky to win.

You need strategy to win any amount whether you stake high or stake low, in as much as gambling is 50/50, if you don't have good strategy on selecting games, you will win nothing. The reason why I'm saying this is that, there are people that wager high capital but lack good strategy and they lost the money before they realized and there are some people that have good strategy and with little amount, they win whatever they predict.

In addition, don't forget to risk what you can afford to lose else you will regret gambling, let your pocket speaks for you.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Crash may take bitcoin to 1M dollar on: September 10, 2023, 01:17:28 PM
According to the Finbold article, ‘Rich Dad’ R. Kiyosaki predicts Bitcoin to $1 million if the economy crashes. This is food for thought for those who are foreseeing the economic crash and are unable to find a safe haven for their investments.

Due to the current economic situation and the BRICS, the crash of the dollar seems obvious. Although it will not happen instantly as the US Government will bail out packages in order to maintain the dollar value, however, the question is for how long?

Some people are of the view that if there is an economic crash, then the stock market and the commodities market will crash and so will the bitcoin price will tremble. This may happen but I think the bitcoin will recover quickly and people will invest in the bitcoin. And who knows bitcoin may not fall at all if all this happens in a slow and steady fashion.

Speculations is the best thing to rely on when the next direction of the market is uncertain but I think Kiyosaki is going off point. This is not the first time many have predicted tbe price of bitcoin to hit $1m but till today, we are yet to hit $100k target since launch. I'm not saying it's not possible but when making predictions, there should be corrected factors. Too much dependency of predictions will live you disappointed and with time, your talk will be of no use to the public, only talk when you think it's necessary, not figures that are unrealistic.

Even with Economic harsh, we shouldn't forget what has happened last bull run, you can't expect the next bull run to be smooth if we don't address why the bitcoin has collapsed back to 15k low after making all time high od $58k,  the price will still collapse even if there should be another bull run because of trust issues.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Teaching My Nephews About Wealth Through the Game of Monopoly on: September 10, 2023, 12:15:58 PM
I am thinking about teaching my nephews about wealth in a fun way through the game of Monopoly. I haven't gotten any better way to teach them about money and wealth aside this. I think so because of the lessons embedded in the game which includes,

(a) to build wealth, you need to own assets an not liabilities

(b) to build wealth, never put all your eggs in one basket. Always diversify your investment portfolio.

(c) to build wealth, you must  have proper and strong financial management strategies. Anyone who wants to be wealthy must learn how to manage their money, make the right investment and be able to pay off their debts.

(d) to build wealth you should be able to think strategically. Having a long term thinking in mind will enable you to make better decisions.

(f) to build wealth, you must have a well thought out risk management strategy in place.

(g) to build wealth, you cannot overlook the role that patience plays. Wealthy people are very patient people. They know when to make a move and when to hold on. They they understand that true wealth isn't built overnight but through years of hardwork.

These are some of the financial and wealth lessons that I think that my nephews can learn from playing the game of Monopoly. I am opened to your recommendations for other types of games that can be a great alternative or addition to this game as a fun way to teach kids about wealth.

All this is possible to achieve and transfer to a young kiddie but the reality of life speaks differently depending in your financial status, financial buoyancy and how stabilized the economy is in your country. Let's look at some of your point and see how it can fits into some reality. Let's start with the first point.

To build the wealth, you need more assets than liability: There is no any other point that beats this one, you need to gather assets to be financially ahead of the game but some economics has made us to understand that you need some liability to achive more success. For instance, having a fancy car is regarded as liability but the truth is, there are some business you do that requires packaging in other to win some big deals in business, the way you package or dress, that's how they address you. There are some business meeting you will want to have a deal, you appearance always determined how big you will have your cake cut else they will downsize the amount you ought to be paid. You need liability to make more aseets in some situations.

In some countries, they don't have cheap transportation, so car is a good assets because having your own means of transportation are cheaper compare to where you have to order Uber and other means of transportation that are too costly to pay, when you have your own ride at the end of the day, the cost wouldn't be too difference.

So, I what am I saying, your points are valid but theoretical because in reality, the way they work are different from place to place, they are only perfect in a good working environment that are developed with healthy standard of living.
793  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin or having USD in bank on: September 10, 2023, 11:52:37 AM
If you have your money in banks, you do jot have the complete control. If you save stable coins, most of them are centralized and you do not have complete control and they can fall out of peg and be lesser than the money they are pegged with they become. Example of the pegged coin was Terra Classic USD (UST) which was $1 before but now $0.01186444

If bitcoin price have increased, I can decide to convert some to USD or stable coin. Which one is better? Or is there other alternative which can be comparable with bitcoin in a way it would be independent and having full control characteristic.

There's no stablecoin that is safe, just that they have different degree of risk when you compare all of them. We have had several of them and more are still coming to the market but first we have to look at each of them:

Centralized stablecoin: This one's are pegged to a dollar bill and other assets like treasury bills that can be converted with stressing the liquidity behind them but often times, the companies behind these stablecoins (USDT, USDC, BUSD and many more) are not free from regulatory scrutiny, BUSD for example has fallen and it's still fallen down because Binance which is the face of the company is duelisting the pairs and have instructed customers to convert them to other stablecoins on the exchange.

Decentralized stablecoin: This is a decentralized stable currency that is pegged to the amount of a dollar and the advantage of this is that is open source which means people get to see what is happening and how it's regulated and users can even deposit a asset to take DAI. There are many of these stable coins that are been launched but protocol manipulation made them fold up before time.

My suggestion is this: If you are going for centralized ones, pick USDT and if you need a decentralized stablecoin to trust and have high peace of mind to others, go for DAI instead.
794  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic and finances start young Age Stablecoins on: September 09, 2023, 01:17:06 PM
My friend Will send goverment wich one i don't say the project to start teaching young kids in School about future of Money.like TRON USDT TRC20
Crypto is future when Youngi generation will start learn about Stablecoins.
Teach all ready your kids to keep their trx balance up If they want to pay with USDT tron Stablecoins.
Once young generaton will adopt Stablecoins knowledge we get to going and rock.
Stablecoins are here to stay and Donald trump Will approve them for the. World.

So young people need to be teached how to use USDT USDC and other Stablecoins it's our duty to teach them so faster they adopt the faster all move into Full crypto economy

If you think stablecoin adoption for young kids is the way to make them wake with economic and finances then you don't understand stabcoins. If you want stablecoins that badly, then what is the difference between stablecoins and it's transaction with you fiat(dollars) and invoices? Is there much different, has that change the economy so far, I don't because it's the same thing that is been circulate over the years, stablecoin is not what you need to get your kids ready but understanding the financial system of the government and how to escape it by investing early on yourself.

You can choose to gift your child some stablecoin and to keep it for years until they become of age but by that time, the stable coin will worth penny by the time they come of age, they will not have much to buy with it but if you have invested it and keep it for them, if they see how it appreciate over the years, they will grow with that confidence for the rest of their life, they will appreciate you for that route and gift because not every child get financial advice at their young age and that turnouts to be a problem when they grow.

I wouldn't be selective with investment for your child but in anything you do, include bitcoin for them, not necessarily only bitcoin but add a fraction of it to see how important it will be for them in the future because you are starting something big for them.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: September 09, 2023, 01:05:47 PM
No way Roll Eyes
The listing fees of the best exchanges are huge, so any project can be listed for money and it is not the best coin for that.
Moreover one should not rush to invest after seeing the listing on a good exchange because the development of the project will be more dependent on an investor.

There are many coins that get delisted from good exchanges because their volume decreases and investors decrease, the main reason being poor development progress.

There are terms that follow listing of a coin or a token. However, the agreement are hidden from the public for the best between the exchange and the project owners and there is one that was explained by a YouTuber that: If after listing ya coin and it doesn't get traded and volume decline, there is a period it will reach that it will be delisted after informing the team because there are more projects outside that are trending which other exchanges are listing, the exchange will want to list that too have share of the trading fees but due to too much listing, they have to let's go of the inactive pairs.

In addition, listing comes with a fee and rules that have to be followed, like the fees, setting compensation for traders that participate in their trading competition, Airdrop for deposit to compensate people that Airdrop their token to the exchange; all of this are to boost liquidity and make the coin or token to trend and with this, the exchange get more trading fees in return as revenue for the exchange.

But there are tokens that are listed on top exchange without requesting for any fees. Some of these tokens were listed during bull run due to hype and fear of missing out on them, some exchanges listed it because people want it and also they don't want to miss the fees as well, they don't want their customers to live the exchange for another just for a coin they want to trade, this type of listing don't require any fees as they are done on the discretion of the exchange.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Coinbase launch a native coin/token for Base? on: September 09, 2023, 12:46:50 PM
As the title says, do you think Coinbase will launch its own coin/token for the Base network? If not, why? Considering that Coinbase is one of the world's largest crypto exchanges, it could directly compete with Binance's own Blockchain network dubbed "Binance Chain" (with BNB as its native token). The momentum is building for the Base chain, especially when it has the backing of the Optimism Foundation. If Coinbase doesn't launch its own token, it could lose the ability to collect fees from the network and profit from it. Maybe the reason for this is because they're afraid that the SEC might accuse them of launching an "unregistered security"? It would be nice to have an airdrop where early adopters of the platform get rewarded for testing it.

What are your thoughts? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

I have missed feelings about basechain plans and how they quick to rush and announced that they are launching a typical chain without token but we all know that Coinbase alone cannot be a validator and the nodes and they Can't afford to pay the independent nodes and validators in another payment if they really want to keep the blockchain decentralized as possible. That said.

There have been increased in lots of activities on their base chain recently, which means people are using the chain and testing it to strain it to some levels. If those values are true, then there is something people knows privately that the rest of the public don't know. It possible that people are giving it shot for potential Airdrop because that's what has been happening over the new blochains that are been launched over some months now, it's possible that a coin will be launch or people who are using the chain are probably speculating one to be later launch in the future.

What I think about the chain from beginning is Coinbase want their chain to be clean and free from spam transactions, early testers are known for spammy transactions to get lots of shares when it comes to Airdrop, hence the reason why they say to the public of no coins. A company like Coinbase launching a blockchain will attract lots of attention and I say it's a good strategy to make it clean from the beginning. With time, they will launch their own coin or may be during the next bull run.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIM SWAP ATTACK: THE OLD CRYPTO SCAM METHOD REAWAKENED on: September 09, 2023, 11:17:05 AM
SIM swap attack is a process through which a 3rd party gets an authorized access to your phone number, giving them access to your calls and messages on the SIM card.
SIM swap attack is an old scam trick current reigning again as a means of stealing from cryptocurrency investors' or traders' exchange account of those using their phone number as the authenticator to sign into their accounts.
It is reported that over $13M worth of cryptocurrency assets have been stolen from about 50 people just in 2023.

The scammers swap or steal your phone number from you to gain access to your cryptocurrency account and steal your fund.

How to protect yourself from such an attack includes
1. Keeping your funds in an uncompromised personal, non-custodial or hard wallet.
2. Use an app based 2FA authenticator like Auth, google authenticator, aegis and so on
3. Enable a SIM card PIN protecting your SIM card from getting accessed without your consent.

Stay safe.

There is an increased theft of sim, mostly to target people. When scammers knows that you are into crypto, they will target you as they will feel that you have one or two security patch with your phone number. This is why phone numbers are the littlest options to secure centralized exchanges or anything that has to do with your sim card. I think there are apps like Authy, not to be confused with google authy because Google Authy stored your security pin to google icloud while the other(AUTHY) doesn't do all of that, just your mobile number required for an account.

Number 3 doesn't gurantee anything. Some sim swap hackers sometimes have insider person inside telecommunication companies, so even if you used PIN on your sim, they can get your pin reset if the company has bad actors that jointly carryout this operations. The best solution to this is to disengage from using mobile number for extra security because you don't know a day that you may misplaced your phone without switching it off, your sim access without pin requirement if it doesn't switched off before they got it.

So i've been a trader since early 2017 and i have never seen such low volatility in market. Even at the time of 2018 bear run the things were quite slow but this time its totally different. It makes a move and consolidates for like a month or two now. Which was never the case in past.

Its possible that only i feel like that and other people still see it like the normal bitcoin trend. But there was fun every week in crypto before.

What do you guys think ?? Is it just me or some of you others feel the same??

And if it is like that then what do you all think when the wild ride start again like old days ??

It's not a big deal, this has happened countless times, nobody want to lose both the bears and the bulls, everyone is taking caution to avoid been liquidated. If you observe carefully, you will notice that when the market is idle for about a week without any tangible moves, you will see a sudden spike upward  especially when the price stays above the support for some while and when the price shut up a candle, after sometime again, it will get nuke and shutdown another red candle to come back and sit in the previous support; this happened a lot of times when traders want to liquidate one another when there is not any news.

What I think about this low volatility is uncerntainty, when the bulls and the bears are unsure of the next news that will come out for bitcoin, the market tends to always behave like that for a while even upto weeks without any significant moves; I believe if there is good news or bad news, the market knows how to make moves naturally without forcing it to move.

What do you mean change trading plans? If you initially determined a trading strategy for yourself and know how you will act, then what can you change? Let's say you entered a trade and you know at what price you will take profits, everything is clear here. You also know at what level you need to set your stop loss so that the losses are minimal. If you trade without stop losses, then not everything will depend on you, and perhaps in this case you will have to change and come up with something when your losses reach significant values.
I personally have gone out of plans several times that I have made myself in trading. Usually the strong reason that makes me change my trading plan is when bad or good news suddenly appears. Or fundamental news that will have a big impact on market movements. Like initially I will take profits at a certain level at first. but there is good news that could impact the hike higher. So I will shift my profit target. And change the previous profit target to stop loss plus. that's also something I recently learned from someone and it works well.

That is why I used to tell people that it's more easy to make money in trading as a fundemantal trader than Technical trader, you need to expert in both analysis to make profits but you need more of fundamental to survive in trading. There are many instances where traders believe too much on technical analysis and neglect the fundamnetal, doing this or practicing this is the fastest way to go broke in trading or go zero if things unfold fastly.

However, there instances where technical lead the fundamental, this is the period where good news or bad news don't happen, the global trend of the market decide where the asset go for that particular time in real time.

Bitcoin hodling might be underrated but if you are hodling sufficient number of bitcoin, you’ll end up an instant billionaire in the future. So I don’t think hodling alone does not maximize the potentials of bitcoin. However, with bitcoin trading, people know that the profits are more promising and tempting, but hey, trading is never easy and it needs close to perfection skills and trading expertise so you can be profitable on it. Otherwise, you are only wasting your money in trading when you consistently trade without knowledge and skills being honed.

The easiest way to maximize profits is by trading Bitcoin and not holding in my opinion, there is power in making more profits in what you control than leting it stay idle and with that, market players will play with your profits. As a trader, when you make profits, it's already in the bag and whatever the market does after that is not of your concern, if its slight down further, it will not affect your value as you have already convert it to profit but if you are holding, you don't get to claim the profit and it can go up or down or may even go down below where it was purchased.

Just imagine buying bitcoin when it was around $4,5k and you patiently hold it to all time high of bitcoin but refuse to sell and now that the price is now $26k, there is still good profit IMO but not good strategy; A smart trader will have exited the market around $50k+ and then buy back again and with this, you can have more bitcoin in your posession.
