1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 21, 2023, 11:32:29 PM

This Barcelona we see is pretty much far from Barcelona in the last years because they don't have any financial stability and they can't hire the players they really need. Instead, Barcelona can only old players like Gudogan for their team, this way they can pay less money and this Barcelona cannot have much hope even for the champions league because simply they don't have enough money to invest in it like other teams do in Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Ilkay Gündoga is a good investment even tbough he is old, better than Messi they were trying to push back to the club that will end up been sold because of their financial status. Still better than nothing bringing anything at all, they already have good young players in the club to help struggle for the leagues they all qualified for, what they need now is to strike a balance between the squad that will be starting and the ones that will be bench, it's very necessary to help ease pressure in matches and I hope Real Madrid doesn't end up buying Haaland though, it will be the end for Barcelona in Spain but I have doubt if Manchester City are ready for that discussion.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: June 21, 2023, 10:19:26 PM
Is it possible for a casino to go bankrupt because a player gets a very big win?

I think maybe that's hard to happen if we look at casinos that are already big and well known. But suppose there is a new casino, and there are some players who are very good at playing, so they can win continuously, can the casino go bankrupt? or do they already have an algorithm or a way so players can't keep winning?

You see that registration button, many players  ever take time to go through it but it's very important because everything and how players used the betting platform in future depends on those writing, they even get updated when they see some slight changes to favor their betting platforms. Maybe while in the past it might have occur but I doubt if there is any casino platforms that will go down because players won a big game, you should always always remember that the house always wins, before such amount will make them bleed, they will by that have made 5x from players, betting platforms have money to pay their players, they can only delay withdrawals but once you are clean, you will get paid.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Categories of Unrealistic Sports Betting Expectations on: June 21, 2023, 08:41:32 PM
We encounter different categories of sports bettors every day, both online and offline. However, some of them express unrealistic expectations regarding their potential winnings.

The first category is composed of sports bettors with a $1000 bankroll who hope to make $100,000 by the end of the year. In what universe do they think this is possible? Such expectations are unrealistic and only occur in the lottery, not in sports betting. Even in sports betting, it would be a chance occurrence, happening only once in every 100 bets. A more realistic expectation would be to aim for increasing their bankroll.

Excuse me my friend, don't say what you have a limited information about, when sport betting want to favor you, even the casino would want to have something to do with you but of course, it depends on individuality and luck, so don't say it's not possible or unrealistic. I know a guy who have played 3k odds on a trial of 5th bet and I was surprised that all of the selected games went as they were predicted, gambling indeed it's a luck and skill but more of luck and when it shine on any gambler, it's becomes hard to explain.

Quote
The second category consists of individuals seeking guaranteed wins and fixed bets or matches. These individuals are frequently seen on platforms such as Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and others where sports betting is discussed. They are often the first to express their desire for guaranteed games and fixed matches/bets, believing they will surely win. Unfortunately, these individuals are easily scammed due to scammers taking advantage of their gullibility.

What other categories of unrealistic sports betting expectations have you encountered?

A gambler that is looking around for fixed bet is a lazy one and not only looking for way to play for fun but they are their to make quick money from gambling. There is a difference between try your skill and luck to make money and put your money on something you have been given tips about, that's not gambling, it's more of cheating the casinos and if you get caught, it's punishable by law anywhere.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 21, 2023, 08:23:11 PM
Kai Havertz is a young and quality football player. I think Arsenal made an important player transfer in the coming years as well. I don't understand why Chelsea sold him. I don't think it was the right decision to sell him, especially to a strong competitor like Arsenal. Of course, the decision has now been made, let's see what kind of gem Havertz will turn into in the hands of Arteta.
I am actually ambivalent to his signing at Arsenal. He makes the team stronger and will add or offer balance in Midfield. He has champion's league experience in terms of teammates he will fit in comfortably playing with  Gabriel Jesus and Gabrielle Martinelli Another  positive side I see about his signing is his height. This his physical presence. I think he is like six foot ten or so. This is a good signing from Chelsea to Arsenal and in Arsenal we are going to see his potentials and talents fully exploited more than we saw in Chelsea.

I want to believe that you are right as an Arsenal fan that I'm but the skepticism is giving me some doubt about Havertz as to why Chelsea keep bringing in alternative players to him instead of the coaches to used him. I mean look at his stats this season, he made about 35 appearance for Chelsea matches and was able to had 7 goals which out that matches, he started 30, that's a poor performance to be honest but anyways, I hope to see some changes from him in Arsenal, perhaps he can bring back the same luck he brought to Chelsea; In his first appearance, Chelsea had their first UCL cup with Tuchel, especially now that Arsenal is making their first appearance in Champions League after many years of trying.

You don't know the owner, but what makes you sure to deposit bitcoin to exchange?.

what makes you sure that your Bitcoin arrived safely and was not taken away by the owner?

I always thought that,
same as banks, I don't want to save it for long time, because banks often go bankrupt, and the owner run overseas.

To avoid doubt, this is why you should never trust centralized exchange, I can't trust someone I don't know and send them my Bitcoin, never in my life keep btc on third party and it will strictly be on my wallet until I'm ready to spend it for another coin or may be do some gambling. Centralized exchange will be very quickly to report you when they don't like you, they will even seize your bitcoin and use privacy policy terms to shield that as contract that bind you and them, they are corrupt and not trustworthy, if you want peace of mind, please use your own wallet for your own safety.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found a trading strategy that blew my mind! on: June 18, 2023, 11:08:48 AM
Till today, I haven't subscribe to any tradingview package, what some new traders don't understand is that they don't really need all the indicators to become an expert in trading, some of those premium packages will even make them loss than they anticipate to win because these indicators behave in different ways, and the market never stop with surprises. Like some weeks ago when Bitcoin was trading around $27k, everyone was bullish despite when the sign were there that it will comes lower but even with that, this indicators didn't show them; they become active when the deed has been done, always lagging behind volatility.

What I will advise is this, get familiar with normal indicators like the volume, Moving averages, Macd, exponential moving average EMA, the Bollinger band and the RSI, this indicators are free and will help your trading experience without paying for any premium indicators.
1067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: June 18, 2023, 10:43:43 AM
Cryptocurrency has many opportunities, but the question is how will you find them and how will you execute the plan?

You could say that shorting shitcoins can be profitable, but you also need to consider that illiquidity pump and announcement pump that happens, as this can lead to liquidation. Of course that's not desirable, and add to that the fact that you have to pay funding rates.

Easier said than done.
Which is the same story as always, on paper it is very easy to imagine that if you just buy at the bottom and sell at the top then the profits you can get will be huge, but once you try to put your strategy into practice then things get way more complicated to the point that the perfect strategy that you envisioned crumbles under duress and you are forced once again to think about what you are doing wrong before creating yet another strategy.

I don't know why people loves risk that are too high, 10x is manageable even though I also see it as a way to lose everything but 100x is like a grenade traders love to play with, I don't consider such kind of risk because when something is too good to be true, it's better to avoid such because at the end, you will lose more than you will gain. Ideally, trading is very easy to discuss but the reality is different, shorting the market with such kind of leverage is not easy in application, you have to analyze the market when you expect some crash like the other day SEC had issues with bank, that's the period to short the market with these leverages but for conviniency, do spot trading and enjoy your small profit and loss.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 18, 2023, 09:50:53 AM
Losing certainly feels bad. I know the feeling of losing a lot of money due to my stupidity but that has not stopped me from losing even more money in the all-too-near futures after that. Just put it out of your head and not dwell on it too much. Otherwise you start thinking you can win your loss back but end up losing more money...

Every human possesses adrenaline on their body system and it's natural for them to react in the body system when there is fear, excitement and panic, so I think it's normal for players react or feel bad when they lost bets, no way that can be avoided but then the way people feel it is different from others, there are some players that quench their loss in that moments the tickets is gone, they feel bad but it is within a short range while others may take hours, days or month and it also depends on the amount that was loss, you know our pocket size are not the same but people will go extreme to play what they cannot afford to lose.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2023, 09:33:26 AM
The on-off saga over De Gea’s contract has taken another twist, and some sources confirmed that Manchester United are now less optimistic that De Gea will stay. But there are so many talks about a new Goalkeeper. Ten Hag is known to want a goalkeeper who is more competent with the ball at his feet, and I feel that Manchester United will likely make a new signing this summer regardless of the outcome of De Gea’s contract saga.
Also, I feel that the amount of money they will have to spend could depend on whether they are bringing in competition for De Gea or signing a new No.1 to replace him.
De Gea ended up not being included in the Ten Hag squad for next season. Man United will most likely be looking for a new goalkeeper in the transfer market this summer. and if they don't get it, maybe Ten Hag will take advantage of the goalkeeper he has. it is also possible that Ten Hag can get a goalkeeper in the winter transfer market halfway through the season.
I don't think there will be many changes in the Ten Hag squad. besides they are also trying to get a striker.

Ten Hag need competent defenders and there is still Maguire replacement on the table, they need more reinforcement to fight next season because they wouldn't be playing only just Premier league, they will be playing along with Champions League and seeing that its been a while they made it to the Champions league, then they need all the good players they could sign in this transfer window, there is no any reason to wait for January transfer window, many matches would have started by that time and if they don't serious, they risk coming home again.

David de Gea should look for another place to further his career, many A list players have left and they made names for themselves after that, he should accept the decision of the club as there is no any pending contract that bind him and Manchester united.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think topics/discussion on gambling addictions is too much on: June 17, 2023, 04:38:27 PM
Or what do you think?

There are two sides to the cause of this topics, the premier league and Champions League is over, that's why people are engaging in this and one of the main reason for discussion is because they are real life events with original source, this things happened in real life and the growing is our concern because we bet and also advertise gambling as well, it is better you know what addiction is all about to either help yourself out or friends when they are addicted.

The second reason may be because some participants want to meet up with their weekly post requirements and that's why small threads become a mega thread because people repeat the same discussion continuesly and the thread keep popping at the top as new people reply those threads.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: June 17, 2023, 02:00:42 PM
I was just wondering. If by some chance, Trump becomes ineligible to run for POTUS 2024, what would be his reaction. Would he ask his supporters to boycott the elections (which is a very stupid move in my opinion), or will he nominate someone else such as Ivanka in his place? Trump is so unpredictable and I really can't predict what he will do if something like that happens. If he goes for the first option, then there will be massive civil unrest in the United States, because a significant share of the population are still loyal to Trump.

I hate people that are so consumed by power, that's what Trump has been doing ever since he lost the second term in his election because he was incompetent but he is ashame to admit that, his ego wouldn't let the government do his job, and his supporters are consume by hate even when they knew he is an opportunist and a manipulator but I love the fact that Biden government have calm his nerves with the atrocities he has done throughout his life, anything that will make him stay away from that power is a welcome change because I can't stand all those insults he has made throughout his tenure.
1072  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing serious, just my own thought on the crypto crackdown. on: June 17, 2023, 11:24:39 AM
If justice still reigns, investigating SAM will probably reveal some high profile figures in the America politics, nothing about SAM cases makes any sense anymore, I think the investigation already did revealed a lot, but it's the stuffs that the nightmares are made of, something that must never come to light.

The reason why all this is happening with crypto is the money that crypto is capable of generating, the fear of crypto growing bigger and them America, not being the biggest benefactor scares them.

Biden will be exposed if they should go over Sam, there was a reason why he was extradited from Bahama back to America to face justice but since then, did you hear anything from them, how many times have you seen the media said anything about Sam and FTX, when was the last time court summon him, they know that Sam will exposed the politicians and exposing those men automatically put Biden power to risk, United State is very smart on how they attack people, that is why they quietly didn't hunt Sam but look at Binance today, they are hating on them, even Coinbase weren't probe as they probe CZ because he is not a US person and if we are to judge by the money laundering done by FTX, Binance is not close their scams.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance crisis - how will it affect the crypto market? on: June 17, 2023, 11:18:27 AM
Binance being a big exchange can certainly have an effect on the crypto market for its negative news. And already we can see all coins including Bitcoin BNB, Ethereum getting dumped. however, no specific time can be said for how long such a problem will last. So it is better not to invest in the current panic market because the analysis will not work very well in the current market. Binance is known as the top exchange globally so it is only natural that negative news against them will have a long impact on cryptocurrency and we have to accept that as well.

If you don't invest now, when did you plan to invest, until the market is green so you can get rekt? No that's a wrong footsteps dear friend, you should invest now that the market is dried of volume and less interest from many people in tbe market. Take a deep breath and look at Binance situation, it's a temporary fight, and it will soon be over with, and from the look of things, only the US citizens are affected, very soon bitcoin will go back to where it was before and will be stronger this time. The last time China were hating crypto and today, it seems some part of them are considering accepting bitcoin back to their place.
1074  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: June 17, 2023, 10:27:49 AM
Living expenses if only for necessities such as food or monthly payments are reasonable. But usually people are too ambitious to fulfill their prestige with goods that are very expensive but those goods that cannot be stored for a long time will experience price erosion. Therefore, people who think the cost of living is expensive are those who continue to obey their prestige even though it is only their desire to be able to have things like other people have even though it is not a necessity of their life.
We can always chose to live simply even if inflation is here for good. As long as you have your own job to support and pay your monthly bills, then rest assured that you will still survive despite of the goods and services prices that continue to surge. But if you live life according to the norms and trends in your surroundings, then expect that your finances will never be enough. The cost of living will certainly kill you in the end.

Inflation will frustrate the living hell out of you if it's too high, even when you receive heavy pay check and inflation is everywhere, nobody will be left out even with your high paying job. When you receive your salary every month, there wouldn't be money left for investment and savings because food items will consume everything you have, let's assume you are even single, there are other miscellaneous items you will buy, there will be bills to sort out, you will pay money for wardrobe as well, no way you can manage life with high cost of things no to talk of people that are poor.

Inflation is deadly, it's the government responsibility to checkmate it in other for the citizens to enjoy what they earn, even the government will enjoy taxing it's people when inflation is well taken care but in a condition where people find it difficult to feed, they wouldn't want to pay the government when it's due.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can One's Religion Compel A Compulsive Gambler To Quit Gambling on: June 16, 2023, 07:21:56 PM
Gambling is banned like drinking alcohol in a few religions and its not optional, it even might apply national where the country is based in that religion.   So even legally you could be compelled not to continue.   What actually happens in countries with bans on gambling is the gambling continues but conducted by the black market and without any oversight.   You have to decide which is more important to you personally, I understand that some faiths require a strict less indulgent lifestyle but nobody is perfect.

I think gambling rule and faith should be a thing of choice, it should not be something they have to force people to do and not to do, but the government ofcourse can implement regulations. I personally think gambling is fun and it is profitable just like the way we have business that brings in profits. I mean no offense, look a Saudi Arabia that are spending millions of dollars of their oil money to buy players to come their country to play football but there are still some other parts of them that ban gambling, they see it as an act that goes against their believe and it is not suppose to be like that.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 16, 2023, 07:02:45 PM
You could be right that some gamblers actually gamble because the needs some bucks and while some dont mind and gambles for run only, but yet if there's any gambler in a hurry to make money through gambling, he must first calm down to plan well how he will ensure getting that money and not loosing it at the ecstasy of getting it, it's just as applicable to the food we want to eat while being hungery and the food is quite hot enough, this kind condition need patience for things to work out as expected and if not, we may end up getting the contrary.
Indeed, it is actually possible for someone to get extra money from gambling, but still, this is not a good way to be able to meet one's needs from a financial point of view. Gambling cannot be used as a field to earn income. Whatever strategy you use will have no effect on gambling, but strangely most of them always have high hopes of winning at gambling. The real victory is when you can stop doing it again because this is indeed a gamble, where someone will win when luck comes. To be honest, I will gamble just to find entertainment, relieve stress and pass the time when I'm bored, and never intend to make it my main livelihood.

Have you seen where big men bet, have you seen some games Drake has put his money own, those are the kind of people I like when it comes to gambling, they pick event they have interest in and put big amount of money and 7 out 10 in those games use to favour them.

We have those kind of gamblers in real life that bet with huge amount of money and that is how they make their money, they bet in high risk and they don't gather plenty of games like the way minor gamblers used to do, they just pick 2 or 3 games event and they are ready to pour their money in it, and this is how they get their own money but as I said, there gambling ways are risky beccause anytime the game didn't go as plan, it always back fired but I like such kind of bettors, they are good in making predictions.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 16, 2023, 03:45:08 PM
The end of de gea's journey in manchester united. The recent news said that if de gea will be leaving from manchester united in summer.

https://twitter.com/utdreport/status/1669689873320607746

So many fans are willing to see him stay even longer in manchester united, but he knew that if united was looking for a new goal keeper to replace his position. De gea may be fully benched in the upcoming season. I think this is the main reason why de gea will be leaving from manchester united in summer.
MU is trying to get onana from intermilan as a new goal keeper.

De Gea has earned his respect in Manchester united whether they decide to let him stay or live, he has spent more than 12 years of his career in Manchester united, that's enough to move into another place because why are they trying to reduce his weekly pay off when they will still bench him at the end of the day. They should allow him become a free player and let him decide his next move, he aready had lots of critism last season from everyone even when he still did his best by taking Manchester united to the Champions league.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 16, 2023, 03:25:19 PM
Gambling winning can never substitute for steady income this is because there is no consistency in gambling earning and at that, one can not rely on it to make a living, worst case is when the individual is unemployed because that will truly hurt his finances and upkeep allowance where it is available.

Gambling should be waken for fun and wakened mormoreout it because if you rely so much on gambling, it may lead to some other severe problems that you may not be able to control as an unemployed person.

In Gambling, if you're lucky you may win some games consistently but there is no way this can continue forever. You will lose games and bets too and there is no guarantee that you can win a certain amount of money on a daily basis. Some days you might win a lot of money and on other days you may lose a lot of money, so a steady income through gambling is not possible.

I would say that gambling is not even an earning heaven because if you analyze we face losses more than the winnings. You can say that gambling gives you a lot of fun but steady money I really doubt it.

Gambling has prove to be purely based luck, you will be surprise yourself when you see the rate which your games win repeatedly, even the fellow gamblers you less expect win something in that period but there will come a time when everyone will suffer the same lost, this happens when everyone has confidence in teams that were having winning streak back to back, I could remember last season how my Arsenal youngins and Manchester City were all making the stream smiles, I made a lot of money from Napoli matches last year because of Osimhen, the odds were good that any amount will give you something worth the risk.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 16, 2023, 09:05:50 AM
Negotiations between both parties are still ongoing, which is why there has been no official confirmation that Jasim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani is the new owner of the club. I believe this negotiation will go through since the Arabs have been bidding for the club for quite some time and refuse to let it go despite numerous offers turned down by the present owners, the Glazers.

Let us wait and see what happens after their negotiations. If it works out, Manchester United will be strong again since acquiring new quality players will no longer be a problem, and if it doesn't, they can still manage and perform better in terms of signing excellent new players to the team.

There is speculation going around that Jasim has registered two of his company under the England and as such, there is high chance of him becoming the new owner of Manchester United, these will open door for many opportunities between the Arab and the England soil, this will open for for the arabs to show more support for the club and not only that, they will also make more money in revenues, we see how Saudi Arabia is spending money on players, Jasim Bin will be ready to spend very well on new players, unlike the last man that couldn't buy players last season and yet they ended in the third place, Erik deserves some bonuses.  Cheesy
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin's comeback on: June 15, 2023, 09:59:09 PM
After all Altcoins were troubled recently, Litecoin is gaining more confidence again.

But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?

Litecoin is as old as many other first altcoins that is similar in design like Bitcoin but it's a little bit faster than bitcoin but you should know that the reason why Litecoin is trending is because of its halving, where miners reward becomes divided by half like the way bitcoin always does in every four years and that is why it's having attention, nothing much and I don't believe if Litecoin will go more than were it is right now but may be if bitcoin later has some pump, it will increase in price but it's too little to outperform bitcoin.
