901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 10, 2023, 08:19:46 PM
-snip-

They will have to defend the Premier League, the odds are in their favor.
He should start and find it difficult to score tommorow night because this is Burnley no matter how strong you are they always look very hard to break and score. During the days of Sean Dyche before he was sacked they are know for how stubborn and offensive tacklers they have. Erling Haaland might not sckre tomorrow night still.
Haaland is a striker who is difficult for defenders to stop, but it is not impossible to prevent him from scoring if the Burnley defenders are able to mark him closely. After all, Haaland also doesn't have to always score goals because Pep Guardiola can also make some mission adjustments for Haaland so that other players have good space to score goals. Manchester City is a team that is difficult to prevent from scoring because every player has the ability to score goals, so Burnley's players shouldn't all be focused around Haaland.

I don't think there's any point in stopping Haaland if Burnley can't control the movement of other Manchester City players. Manchester City are the favorites in that game so Burnley may come under some tough pressure from the start.

I never knew Haaland can't show effort when tackle by good defenders until the day they had their final match against Inter, Bastoni and Acerbi held him well and he wish those guys never start the match because he was frustrated. A similar type of defenders is what other clubs need to get rid of Haaland and they will be having on their palm without much effort regardless of that his tallness advantage.

There has been a shuffle of players in the Premier League, it is early to predict what the future hold for Haaland but all the same, we will experience some great records from new players who were just transfered to the English Premier League, Haaland may not have last season privilege again.
902  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 10, 2023, 08:06:52 PM
It's probably a similar situation to people who invest in cryptocurrencies. They don't want to talk about their involvement because it's a difficult topic that pushes you to take a stance and divides people into those who appreciate it and those who don't. I see a lot of similarities with this and gambling because if you tell a gambler that you're doing it, or someone who used to gamble a lot, they'll start talking with you about the things you played, where you did it and discussing all the details, but if you approach someone who thinks it's an addiction, or worse, a sin, you'll get into an argument with them.

Cryptocurrency investment is a lil different from gambling habit secret. Investors are very secretive not because they are keeping it secret but they are trying to respect their life and privacy. You can't invest thousands and millions of dollars into a business and make it publicly. All eyes will be on you especially if you are a minor or person without a security guard, you can get kidnap one day if you are from my place because there are people that will never keep things to them even if you tell them not share your info to the public, you can't trust people you know right.

People keep gambling secret because they want to keep profile on a low and also, they don't want to be identity as an irresponsible person. There are some places you go to, you can never let them know that you gamble, like in some churches in my country, if they find out that you gamble, the wouldn't take you serious again and may even be a public figure when they want to search for bad leaders. There are more reasons why anyone can hide gambling as a secret but privacy is one of the reasons gamblers keep it as secret.

The rumours were on for Kane to join Bayern Munich for 3 seasons and more. I think he wont be happy that he is leaving the club without a trophy but with Bayern Munich he will be able to win a title for sure. Bayern Munich with Kane completed the team, but Tottenham will be really weak.

At some stage he will retire or leave on a free contract and Spurs will get £0 for him. It might make sense for them to sell now and try to get 2 or 3 players who won’t be as good as him individually but as a collective could make the team better.

I think for Kane, he is too good to end his career without winning a trophy. Now is the time for him to move imo.
Seeing what Tottenham are doing by continuing to try to get a big deal actually for now it is more than enough and as you say with this condition then obviously they benefit because the sale of Kane can be a good capital to bring some players as a coating.
Even if losing Kane will also provide a gap especially for the attack which may have problems but of course regeneration is important and they already know this consequence.
Currently, Gift Orban's name is predicted to be the ideal replacement for Kane and it is possible that with 30 million Gift Orban can be brought from Gent.

Saying Tottenham want to sell Kane because they fear he will retire and the club wouldn't make anything is funny and not making any sense. He is just 30 and Ronaldo that is 38 is there in Saudi Arabia kicking some assess and has qualified his team to teh Arab finals, Kane is only unfortunate to be at the wrong club as he had take them on his shoulder all the time and no trophy to show for his efforts, nothing special about been in Tottenham and going to a better club is the best thing.

Tottenham on the other hand see that he has broken of the highest goal scorer of the club record already, almost wanted to win the Golden Booth for last Premier League season but Haaland passed him by few goal difference, Tottenham is trying to feast on that by selling him to any potential buyers but it's left for Kane if he is interested in those clubs that want to buy him.

Bad start to the season even though Nkunku is one of talented player who can be relied upon at Chelsea but unfortunately he has to rest until appointed time.
Although some people say this will not be a big problem for Chelsea and they still have reserve player, but performance is not as good as Nkunku, but what if this has happened, Mauricio Pochettino must work hard to find ways to improve this situation.[/left]

Worry not, a single player absence cannot do all the damage to the club, I'm not satisfied with the early injuries though. The main show is yet to begin but see all the lackluster performance they are having in pre matches that are worth nothing, it is early for Nkuku that is expected to start the season to go into injury but if it wouldn't be a long vacation of injury, they can rely on Mudryk pending when he comes back. Pochettino cannot afford to waste another money on players when they already brought Nkuku to Chelsea to have a good season for the club. I sometimes feel bad for this guys but they don't feel the same for the owner. Undecided

In 3 days time, Chelsea and Liverpool will be having their first EPL match, Liverpool has improved a lot in the pre-season matches they play and likewise Chelsea also but their last two matches in the first and second leg were draw, will that happen this time again? All fingers cross this time as they first have their match in Stanford bridge.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 09, 2023, 10:54:58 PM
This board has a lot of topic that comprises with the negativity about gambling addiction. Let’s change it for now to support the casino we are promoting here.

Gambling is important to the society because it provides huge taxes that government use on hospitals, infrastructure and other projects to help its citizens. Monacco country is popular with their casino but they don't allow its citizen to play. This shows how important gambling in their country because they still allowed to operate it even though they don't want citizens to be involved.

In our country, Our lottery use the proceeds to donate on the health center that provides free health service to our citizens.

Even if gambling commonly view as negative by commoner. Many didn't notice how big is the contribution of gambling to the society.

What is the benefits of gambling to your society?

Gambling impact the society in different ways, the good side I have seen apart from the taxes government get to improve their IGR, they help the society to battle special needs. For example, I have seen and not just told that some gambling companies go to foster care to support them witn food supplies and funds to help those children in need, they also support people who are HIV positive and also provide special care for cancer patients, they do all this without any support from the government, and sometimes also collaborate with government to improve waste management in the cities.

I don't have the statistics of the money these gambling companies make in my country but from what I read somewhere back, they make money than the money they loss to players, the government knows that the people lose to them and that's why they make this inclusion of it to the companies deals. I have seen them give flask with the company logo and name on it distributed to the public, they maybe doing people favour but are also doing indirect marketing, they also distribute items during special Muslim Ramadan Kareem period with foods stuffs and beverages but all depends on the company, there are some that don't give a damn about giving back to the society.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 09, 2023, 10:38:10 PM
Kepa is a good shot stopper especially when it's a closed range shot but he's not good at stopping shots from outside the penalty box which is one of his big problem and I don't think he can work on that since he doesn't have the height to stop balls placed at the corners of the goalpost. He is a good keeper and does have his moment and i believe that's why Thomas tuchel wants him. He's also a good penalty goal keeper as he saves penalty regularly. He might suit the Bayern Munich team more than he suits Chelsea so we can never know unless he plays for them. I think he should move over there because at the premier league, his flaws are already known and players can always used that against him to score.

The problem in analyzing Chelsea players is that it's even difficult because Graham Potter destroy everything, the players didn't have a wonderful moment. They conceded goals that it became a norm that one can't even predict what these guys were capable of doing. Kepa has a lot of potential been a young player that have devoted his career to Chelsea, it was the same goal keeper Tuchel used to make the Champions League winners for Chelsea and all of sudden everything start to failed for Chelsea when they changed the managers. I think the defenders weren't doing their job perfectly then but if they will be making more money from him than letting the contract expired, if it will give Pochettino good sales to Bayern, it's up to them, he has done his time perfectly for Chelsea.

Quote
Todd Boehly is in loved with signing youngster as he is more invested in building for the future so if this is another youngster on the radar of Pochettino, he's as good as been called a Chelsea player because Todd Boehly won't hesitate to sign him. Todd has trusted the decision of the scouting players to Pochettino and signing them because in the past it would had been Todd Boehly pushing for signing of players and not the coach but things are different now which means Todd Boehly learnt from the diaster he did the last time he took charge of the transfer window.

We all see what happens to the players they brought to Chelsea after the World Cup, the PR was great thinking that Chelsea would perfect their game and come back to form but all turned out to waste of investment that weren't put to good use, Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix, Mudryk and others, about $400m were wasted in vain without showing anything for the club. I hope this time they turn this around before at the very end of the season else Todd Boehly will have no choice than to auction this blue club.
907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Crypto exchange is the best for intermediaries Traders and Invesotors. on: August 06, 2023, 04:47:12 PM
When it comes to crypto exchanges, finding the best fit for intermediaries like us is crucial.  Does anyone have any go-to exchanges that have served you well? I've heard some chatter about a few options, but personal experiences and insights are gold.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

I will be honest with you on this one, Binance offers one of the best services for newbie person, intermediaries and professionals but there is a comma to this, Binance have good features and are very update with new features but when something is too good to be true, there is always open back door which can cause a catastropic damage to you later or even earlier than you may expect. Binance exchange is a centralized exchange, using it means you have submit your privacy to them because you will have to be verify before you can even be allow to make a deposit, and in addition, you don't own the keys to your funds.

If you are looking for alternatives to avoid the above problems, try a P2P exchanges but they are not designed like Binance and the rest, they don't request for KYC, you can trade on the exchange without revealing your identity or even hide your IP adress from such exchanges and nobody will question you for that but Binance and the rest may even lock your account for changing an address or even the device you use to access their exchange.
908  Economy / Economics / Re: Helpful mineral resources on: August 06, 2023, 04:29:04 PM
I couldn't agree more. Same goes for my country. Despite being rich of these resources we often export them to be used by other countries for their product and then will be imported back here and be sold with a high rate. Once you asked why it is expensive they will tell you that it is because of the rare products used to make it, then you'll realized the said products is locally found and there are a lot of them. Typical import and export system.

Having a mineral resources doesn't guarantee that you will have the capacity to refined them to the finish products but a country who has smart politicians will not depends on exportation forever, they are supposed to sell for a particular time, generate the revenue and to improve the country and increase their target reserves so that with time, they will build one of the company to refine the natural resources for exportation and make the same money they are giving out to import this products. However, when corruption becomes the first thing politicians value the most, the country continue to borrow even with the available natural resources they have in aboundant, it crazy and pitiful to see a country suffer high rate of poverty even when they are swimming inside wealth of God gifts.
909  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Huobi - the new trouble spot of the crypto world ? on: August 06, 2023, 04:13:19 PM
The waves of problems on Binance have not subsided, as it started with Huobi ...

Unexpected news:
-Huobi top executives and TRON developers arrested in China.
-Binance has started a massive sell-off of USDT.
-USDT has been in a mild deprivation for a week now.
-Huobi's balance dropped from $700 to $90 million in a month. -The Merkle Huobi tree (a balance sheet publication introduced after the FTX crash) hasn't been updated in a month.
Steaking USDT with a 4.29% yield is the main source of the problem.

What is the essence of steaking

You buy stUSDT notes with your USDT. Justin Sun is supposed to buy US bonds with them, but as analyst Adam Cochran writes, he doesn't. Instead, investors' USDTs are deposited in the addresses of the exchange and Justin Sun's personal wallets.

He spends them to support his other projects. And in a moment, if everyone wants to withdraw their USDT, Huobi simply won't have the money to process the withdrawal.

This is also the case with ETH. Sun has turned them into stETH. Users think there are 141,000 ETH on the balance in Huobi, but no.

New cryptocrisis or just 1 less exchange on the market ?

Its becoming scarier even more with the way things are turning out on USDT and I don't know why USDT decided to give one man monopoly to play with a stable coin that is having lots of critism. At times, I get scared of how Justin Sun deposits into Binance make the news all the time, there are lot of many other institutions that makes big deposit to Binance without making a single news but Sun is always ahead and that is even bad of crypto, one man cannot control those millions, maybe its high time we take precaution with stable coins, another Do kwon might be on the pipeline.

Crytpo has been between few people and I don't find it interesting because if you remove Binance, Kraken, Coinbase, Okex from cryptocurrency, only few will be left and by this, money is only ciirculating between this circus people, but when losses happen, it affect everyone because they don't have their coins under their study, it is the exchanges that control half of the money we have in crypto, we need to cut this tie.
910  Economy / Economics / Re: Im owner of wealth club and here is my forecast about global economy on: August 06, 2023, 03:14:01 PM
Im Wealth Club 777 owner and here is forecast for econoy
The many years back UK banks LIBOR scandal and SWAP deals to Europe Banks and many other indicators can tell us only one thing that euro is about decouple from much more from other Western world fiat currencies.

Get ready for weaker euro off course it has quite good economic stimulus factor we can can expecting boom and bullish european construction and real estate markets.
Once again europe Will be good vacation destination becouse of weaker euro specially by usa and british tourists.

Thanks and enjoy the Reading Smiley

Where is your indicators, can we see the pictorial view or how it work with this your confidence because written a 5 piece of line to say that something will happen in meaningless, anyone can open account that and created a thread that Trump will rule America next election or say the US dollar will be strong against Euro and other currency of the world. In case you are right about your forecast, if Euro get weak, it wouldn't only affect the currency alone, it will affect every other currency inclusive of dollar. The last time Euro weaken, so many things were drastically affected as well during Covid-19 time.

Euro is one of the strongest currencies in the world and even if it falls a little bit, I don't think it will become that cheap compared to most currencies in the world. Maybe it can be a great deal for americans and british people with their dollars and pound sterlings, but for the rest of the world it won't make difference anyway, as Euro will still be stronger than their local currencies. I believe the worst western european economy is, it never compares to how bad the situation is at Latin American, Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia.

Reason why Euro is not affected the way in which Dollar is because Euro is not controll by the decisions of the government, it is govern by the policy of European banks with free floating policy and that is why government fiscal and monetary policy don't affect it, unlike the US dollars that is fully supervised by the decision of FED and are puppets to the united state politicians. In addition, can we deal with the main topic without dragging other continents, they have there problem they are dealing with I believe, its the Europeans we are talking about.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion about ETH on: August 06, 2023, 01:49:28 PM
Sometimes I think..
If now we have a fast network with ecology as prosperous as ETH and low tax
Why we need L2 network and ETH..It seems like a deficient network repairing itself constantly.
And POS is without justice that the strong will always be stronger.Blockchain need justice and every one is equal.

I want to see you mates' opinion. And if possibile, please recommend me the best cryptocurrency undervalued now thx. Kiss

ETherereum community will continue to hide under the radar of gas fees, they have dodge that question multiple times because of it sensitivity because they know that Ethereum chain can't scale without rewritting the code from beginning and doing that is just like abandoning the chain and starting a new one entirely, we have seen countless hardfork of in the past and there is no improvement and that makes me think that Ethereum cannot be scale without the interaction of sidechains as the layer 2 and this is why Ethereum has remain the same in development except for DEFI but seems to be more interesting on other chains.

Many people will claim that Ethereum chain is more secure but I think that was when it was still in proof of work, you can't tell me that Ethereum is secure when it is now centrealized more than ever, if one of the biggest validator should exit and commmit fraud, it will affect Ethereum price by 50% but they are all blind with the believe of commitment of previous people who held into proof of work. Because a dog is mad and silent doesn't mean it cannot bite the owner one day.

Lastly, asking for suggestion of alternative coins to ETH is like asking for a financial advice, that will lead you astray and the chance of making something great from there will be difficult. I will advice you do your own research like the way you mount up good effort in finding Ethereum chain, you will do well in other layers that are undervalue in the market, you can get a coingecko app on your own phone and see for the list of coins in the market.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Threat to XRP on: August 05, 2023, 10:46:29 PM
Why do XRP proponents keep claiming that it's going to replace SWIFT for international transfers?

Do they think SWIFT is just going to sit idly by, while they watch another company steal their market share and run them out of business??

No. That's why they recently introduced "SWIFT Go", which can settle international transfers "quickly". How "quickly" is anyone's guess, but it might be fast enough to put up some stiff competition against XRP, making it an uphill battle for it to gain adoption, especially since the whole world already uses SWIFT, and banks will be reluctant to change.

https://www.swift.com/swift-go/en/what/

https://www.finextra.com/blogposting/23715/what-is-swift-go-and-why-is-it-so-innovative

Being an XRP holder myself since 2017, I'm concerned about this. Why does it seem that no one else is? Have they even heard of SWIFT Go?

Please enlighten me, if I'm missing something.

If you have been in crypto since 2017, then you should know that XRP replacing swift is synonymous to BTC trying to replace the banks and banking the unbanks, these were what people were using to defend bitcoin and the traditonal finances back then before the adoption changes and the institutional investors stepped into the game and now the picture is even clear than the way it was because then, it was one of the selling point to get people into liking bitcoin and also to motivates the holders. Perhaps XRP need to rebrand to improve the road map and make the project get more exposure and even the SEC hunting will reduce the negetive aspect of them.

In addition, if you have been a holder since 2017, I assume you are at lost up till now, if you have sold them and cut your loss and buy another coin from 2019 to now, you will by now be in a good profits or would have sold and left with your profits. Instead of waiting forever, why not restrategized and try that in prior to the next bull run or just diversify your portfolio instead depending on only XRP.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need a privacy coin that can only hide transaction amounts ? on: August 05, 2023, 10:32:39 PM
There are already some privacy coins, such as Monero, but they don't seem to be widely popular. At least not as popular as ETH, LTC.
Is it because privacy is not a necessary requirement? Or are existing privacy coins not good enough?
Or is it because of regulation? Or is it that privacy coins make the public feel that they are always connected to criminal activities?

If a coin only hides the transaction amount, will it be popular?

When I was using Monero, I found that for offline cold wallets, it is a troublesome thing to check the balance. You have to wait for the wallet client to scan a large number of blocks to find all transactions associated with the account. If only the transaction amount is hidden, this problem will be solved.
Of course, this semi-privacy coin is also more friendly to supervision.
Will anyone be willing to use this kind of coin ?

Monero is popular for it privacy and use case, it doesn't have attraction like ethereum because it doesn't have smart contract design like Ethereum blockchain. Monero(xlm) privacy is even stronger than bitcoin that is why some exchange don't accept them and majority of US crypto exchange don't accept monero and the reason why they are doing that is because your anonymity is to the fullest when you used Monero to send payment and also receive payment and with this, the authority will have to do extra analysis if not impossible to be able to track the payment route.

Its up to what you really want as to preserve your privacy but trust me, you need it to the fullest whether it will hide your transaction amount or not, the goal is to disjoin any association from anyone trying to check up on the user behind a particular transaction, your privacy must be protected at all cost, don't compromised it for anything,
914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: August 05, 2023, 10:07:35 PM
Copy trading has gained immense popularity in the crypto industry since its introduction. Bitget, being one of the pioneers in this field, remains one of the largest platforms for copy trading cryptocurrencies. Many consider it an appealing choice for beginners, but is it truly effective for those who are new to trading?

There are some advantages of copy trading for newcomers. You can check the below points.

Advantages :

1. Time-saving

They can reduce the time on researching and monitoring the markets.

2. Learning opportunity

They can observe and analyze the strategies of successful traders.

3. Simplicity
They can replicate the trades of good traders.

As much as I find your points convincing, they are not showcasing true definition in true life experience, because I don't understand what is Time-saving in copy trading when you can literally do your own set up, not doing your set up will make you even lazier without knowing full understanding of what you are doing and what is the learning opportunity you disuss over there, it doesn't show to me that you will every learn anything from copy other traders trades, you will only get to see loss/profits but most cases, its is losses because you chosed to do the short cut.

Furthermore, I'm yet to see if this copy trading will be useful right now as I was just scrolling in Binance exchange to see if the traders offering copy trading has been making profits, I checked into their portfolio and I couldn't find anything tangible, their ROI has been negative which means they are not making profits. If professional traders are making loss in this bear market, then I believe copy trading is a waste of time and capital.
915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tokens or coins, which one is better or gives more profits? on: August 05, 2023, 09:46:08 PM
I was doing some research on types of cryptocurency and discovered that we have tokens and coins. For those that don't know the difference here's a simple explanation, coins has their own blockchain while tokens rely on others blockchain to operate just like we have many top cryptocurency relying on ethereum blockchain to operate.

My question now is which of this cryptocurrency is more profitable to trade or do you not put into consideration if the project you're about to invest into or trade is a coin or a token. Why I'm asking this question is because tokens has a variety of exchange options to trade them on like DEX and CEX but coins can only be traded when they're listed on centralized exchange  and when trade are halted you can't buy or sell that coin that you're holding.

Have you wondered why some people keep running after meme coins despite the consistency in faliures from those projects? Its because they have gain profits they have never made in those tokens than even the main coins people shill everyday. One thing  excite the crypto market and is nothing other than trend that will give people profits for their moeny, time, extra efforts they put in shilling the tokens or coins and also engagement on social media, these is how coins and tokens get money off the market because of the over profits they get from the meme coins.

However, since traders are more of traders of buying and selling at a given opportunity, what they do best is to follow the same thing these coins the majority of the market go for and since they don't even require much technical set up of trading, more like easy place to get profits without doing any forcast, just moon and the hype with the lastest vibes to catch the attention of traders, its even this time you will see Youtube analyst start hyping this projects to get more liquidity for other traders to join them, its all about what the people want than what I need as a trader because remember that you should never fall for a project, you are after your money from the projects.
916  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do exchanges impact the performance of newly listed token? on: August 05, 2023, 08:58:03 PM
Initial listings are usually an exciting time for investors or traders; if they aren’t keen on the opening price, they are anticipating a surge or other reasons to be exhilarated.
How much can these expectations be impacted by the listing exchange? Below are my few observations:

-Increased accessibility and liquidity–Listing on a major exchange raises the accessibility and liquidity of tokens, ultimately driving demand and price.

-Purchasing frenzy – Traders and investors often embrace newly listed tokens with the hopes of profiting from their short-term price surge in the first few hours/days after listing.

-The impact of Promotion– Token price trajectory is usually affected by the hype around new listings, this is triggered more when leading exchanges promote or announce the listing of a new token.

Summarily exchanges significantly impact the performance of newly listed tokens, although this may vary in tokens or exchanges.

As a trader or investor, can you relate to these findings?

I think there is more to the points you explained above, liquidity is of the essence and that is why when tokens or coins are listed on dexes, they don't make good move to the upside because of the lack of liquidty, top tear 1 exchanges are the only place you can have a healthy growth because of the order book and very easy for market makers to take control of the price incase of people trying to drop the coins below the listing price with their bots and market manipulation.

Promtions and trading are discuraging as of recent, many exchange are abusing traders and  I don't understand why they are taking advantage of traders. As observe from kucoin, they pledge to give $5000 for trading competition that I know Kucoin for such absurd situation, that money is not encouraging and doesn't give anything back to the traders, for an exchange to do that, the new listed project will collapse in a short period of time and after some months, liquidity will be gone and you will be left of Critizers that will be fustrated to getout from the tokens losses.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 04, 2023, 08:43:29 PM
Morocco did pretty well yesterday against Colombia and they got the 3pt they needed to qualify to the next round, this qualification made Morocco the first Arab county to qualify to the round of 16. It will make them stronger to face any team that come their way.
With Nigeria, South Africa and now Morocco still keeping and giving Africans hope that something good can still be done, that alone is something to be motivated about, I just wish for this African countries to do well and get into the next round, it will be a thing of joy if these 3 countries are still in the tournament till the semis.
Good luck to Nigeria, South Africa a d Morocco.

Morroco won after playing the last match in the Women World cup, not only did they lead by 1 goal, they also held into Colombia pressure even when they wasted more time with tatics to delay Columbia from having a goal in the end of the minutes, my problem problem is how they are going to continue their journey after this level because from that match, Columbia played them by possession, they had great pass accuracy and more shorts that Morocco. If that match has been a regular match, I believe that Columbia would have equalized that goal and add extra goals to Morocco because they are not match at all but all the same, Congratulations to them but France will do the final judge of their journey from here in the round of 16.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: August 04, 2023, 08:29:45 PM
I have heard the advice that you should only use money you can afford to lose for gambling. I say that this is more theoretical than practical. Literally no one has money that they can afford to lose. I feel that money for gambling is a matter of opportunity cost. You either use the money for gambling or use it to meet a need. If using money one can afford to lose were practical there will be no need for articles on having a gambling budget or bank roll management. Hey gamblers my question is to you now is, the money you currently plan to use for gambling is it money that you can afford to lose?

It’s true, people should split their income to different parts every month. The gamblers should have allot 10-20 percentage of money for their entertainment,So the entertainment money will not affect your monthly expenses. This was the strategy to get away from any financial issues after the loss from the gambling.Gambling profit always give you some good enjoyment and allow you to buy some more desired items. But we should think about the loss too.Because being practical will lead to peaceful life. Some of the gamblers failed to calculate their income and living the peace less life.Once you do planned expenses, you will be free from credits.

You are indeed a rich dude/person for allocating such 10-20$ to gambling but to me, I feel like its a waste when I have more responsibilities to tackle but its cool, you may have little bills to handle and more time to have fun but I don't have money to spend on gambling. The reason why I said so is that my wager is always in local currency and considering the siuation of dollar rate here, if I use that % on gambling, it is going to be a extravagant life style that may end me up with gambling addiction.

I think Op have not gamble much, if at all he does, he will know how powerful the statement is for a gambler to use the money he cannot afford to lose, so that when you don't win anything, guilt and disappointment will not be the first thing that will come to your mind but where you made mistake and the necessary precautions that where avoided in the first place, learn to put it in practice and you will understand the power of that statement.

I think the question should have been what will you do if you win jackpot from a lottery, I can deside to play lottery and win small amount of money, it is only when you win $600k as you describe one can ask on what to do with the money. It seems people are really making big future in lottery these days with the high volume of success story I've been reading for the past days, if I should have such amount according to my country valuation of Naira against dollar, I know that I have made it in life.

Asking opinions of others on what they will do depends on individuals, I have seen people make fortune from gambling only to stay lowkey as if they never made anything, there are quite some players build houses after making such kind of money and there are some that have also lost everything on the same lotter again after winning the first one. But my advice is that I will put into a good used as I have said such amount when converted to my local currency is a huge money with less tax.

In addition to my plan, I will set up a business that will be giving me a passive income daily so that I can have confidence of generating liquid money every 24 hours so that my eyes will not go to gambling, it will serve as a way to remove my attention from gambling and also establish another business that will bring huge money biweekly or monthly, anything that will remove my attention from gambling for that time will be my main focus and will make sure my plans are well excecuted to avoid any regrets.

Two rumors came from Manchester United who are reportedly interested in Tchouameni and also Leon Goretzka. It is unlikely that Tchouameni's transfer will materialize, considering that Real Madrid really protects their players and no other team is allowed to touch him. Meanwhile, Leon Goretzka is likely a pretty good candidate for Manchester United because we know that Bayern Munich are still confused about the transfer of Harry Kane, who has not met a common ground about negotiating an expensive fee.

On the other hand, it looks like Manchester United wants to really tidy up their midfield for the better next season and therefore they still need a good midfielder in order to get the results they want. So far there has been no official offer from Manchester United for these two targeted players.

Are there any updates on Real Madrid that I have missed, or can we still trust the transfer market? Reports that Manchester United is interested in Leon Georezka may be true, but I'm not sure whether the same is true for Tchouameni. Unless there is abuse taking place under Real Madrid's wing, it will be the last move he wants to make right now. Under normal conditions, he is properly cared for by everybody, and the terms of his current contract are excellent despite his improved performance in the club.

Real Madrid has more options than Manchester United to win every cup and trophies in most of the high valued league except he want to have Premier League but at the start of his career, it is still early for all this drama, he just a year old in Real Madrid, it will be unwise to move to Manchester United right now. The Manchester united that Erik Ten Hag manage will not spalsh such kind of money on him, not that he doesn't worth the amount but at the stage, that is going to be the least move they will want to make right now.
