661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 19, 2023, 04:08:14 PM
I'd like to share my experience with you all. Even though I'm not currently employed, I went through a phase of gambling while I was working in the past, and the outcome wasn't positive. It affected my job performance because, as you may know, when you lose, you tend to dwell on your losses and constantly think about strategies to win. When we talk about work, it usually means we're not particularly wealthy, and imagine what happens when we gamble money we can't afford to lose, especially when we're not earning much.

Let me tell you, the feeling is far from pleasant. It leads to a decline in your work performance, which can have significant consequences since that's your primary source of income. It might be manageable if you're winning, but the harsh reality is often quite the opposite. Even when we do win, we tend to spend most of our winnings, so we don't treat it as business money. This leaves us in a precarious situation when we lose because the money we initially budgeted for our families gets diverted to cover unexpected gambling-related expenses.

I'd like to hear from those of you who have experienced this or are still dealing with it. Please share your testimonies.

One thing I don't joke with is any attempt or element that try to disrupt my main source of income, I make sure I completely eliminate it from my life. Yes, I said what I said, if the source of income is gone today, there will be no opportunity to gamble anymore and there will not be money to feed again. You ought to have think of that and forget gambling completely because if we check your gambling history, I doubt if your gambling income will exceed your place of work income.

Furthermore, what did you take gambling? You think it's a place where you can wake up and do some magic and then double, tribe and X your wager, no. As you are thinking of the winning side, you should also think of the losing side because for every winning that you take from casino, they expect or want you to give it back in the future, that's how they profit and you want to take that all from them Grin

Another thing you should consider is break, yes take a break. It's good for the body, help relax the body and makes you productive. You don't have to gamble all the time if you don't want to start having nemesis of too much loss from gambling, you need to strike a balance between your work, your free time and gambling time.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 18, 2023, 11:10:31 PM
Of course it's better to be grateful for what we've got, responsible and non-obsessed gamblers always do it that way, just like your experience is exactly the same. Whatever the amount of their winnings, even if it's only 50% of the amount of capital they brought, they will still withdraw it and then withdraw it to enjoy. That is really much better than you continue to look for bigger wins, basically someone's greed will never end and even though you have gotten a big enough win I'm sure in that condition you will again assume and think about continuing to play to get a much bigger win than before. Greed will never end and usually always ends up with something worse.

Have you seen sporty bets analyst make sports predictions? Most of them hardly believe that bet is not something you can control, what will happen is going to happen and should not be count as luck but performance result. I have seen gambler take risk to bet huge some of money and instead of them to cashout 80%-90% of the bets to completion, they will not cashout, not untill they see the final result before they withdraw and many times I have seen such type of bets wasted as loss and some won. I don't know why they have such kind of confidence or they are trying to prove a point where there is none.

I don't know if I should called such actions greed because if it's money, some of them has legitimately made huge money from gambling and are doing fine because if you see the amount they stake in betting, if some gamblers see such amount, they might even quit gambling because it's really big amount to gain more bigger amounts and that's what I think they can afford to lose.

Quote
Coming in with the intention to have fun and make withdrawals if we are lucky with getting lucky regardless of the amount is better. I say it's not a real win if you can't enjoy the winnings. Yes it seems that you are too serious and too carried away my friend, it is like that if you are too serious then without realizing it you are very likely to fall into the trap of addiction. Right, so the point is whatever the amount of your winnings you better enjoy it, it's better to prevent than treat because it's just a matter of luck.

Every gambler has their ways of getting satisfaction, I will cashout and withdraw if opportunity arises even if I play for fun or play for money, it's better to be at safe zone than having nothing at all. As you said about luck, we can't deny that because there are some games you play and win some amount you never expected and some comes moderate and some come with lost, we must appreciate in opportunity we have when gambling and try again for better luck if we are yet to meet the target that we want.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question for those who loose too frequently in gambling on: October 18, 2023, 10:56:01 PM
I have often wondered about the people who have lost a lot in gambling and who almost loose in every gambling activity they participate. What is their reason or motivation to continue even after so many losses?

One of the motivations behind a gambler that loss feverously is nothing but addiction. You can't lose and lose and then come the next day, no change of strategy or skills, no improvement, no new inspiration only to come and bet the usual ways and expect to win. Loss can be frustrating, not every gambler have the power to stomach it, consistent loss can create frustration which can result in playing more and more without any result. I really think addiction and frustration are two main reason gamblers repeatedly bet even if when they lose multiple times.

There are some gamblers that are motivated when they see others win large sum of money, anytime they loss, they act like they give up and swear not to gamble the next day but as soon as they find out that a player has won a great sum of money, they will go back to the casinos to try their luck again. In addition to frustration and addiction, success gambling from others makes people to want to gamble more even when they lose.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 18, 2023, 10:40:19 PM
I don't think it will be difficult for Liverpool to defeat Everton this season because their performance has been poor and I am confident they will lose against Liverpool because they are stronger than them this season. Liverpool has been performing well since the season began and they are trying their hardest to win their matches because they want to qualify for the Champions League next season.

If we are to rate Liverpool performance in this just 2 months of played matches, I will give Liverpool a thumb up because they have win more of matches that Everton has lost this season, win 5 and they lost 5, now tell me why you think Liverpool are going to yield to Everton. Remember, Liverpool are not only playing in the Premier League this season, they are also included in Europa for group stage and they stand first firmly in the table.

It's too early to give much credit for Liverpool though, I'm not too convinced because they have lost a match already and if they really want to go for the Champions League, they need the mentality of not losing games in tbe early show of the season, every point matters if they want to go for the Champions League.

Quote
If Liverpool continue to play well they can even win the Premier League trophy, but he will be very difficult for them this season because Arsenal are in hot form this season, winning large clubs now, and they will still upset Chelsea this week because Chelsea are not performing well in preparation for Arsenal, Brighton are in good form this season which is why Liverpool fail to defeat them However, Liverpool play well I can't complain about that match because both clubs perform admirably on the field.

Liverpool and Arsenal are two different teams, the same determination but it will be unwise to say Liverpool will do what Arsenal are going to do, they don't have indefatigability to push forward a winning streak, thus is what has help Arsenal achieve their goals without a losing to any team yet. They might lose moving forward but I will be happy to say they prove to the world that they are not a seasonal team that will be among top 4 and go shadow, they are still here proving great team to the people.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 18, 2023, 10:13:37 PM
We should not just approach issues as simple as they appear. There is no guarantee that Raya will no longer flop throughout the season and there is no guarantee that Onana has failed as a goalkeeper. Presently, we can say that Raya is doing outstandingly well and also we can say that Onana is struggling but this two developments will not remain static

You know, people are short time judgemental when things are not like the way they want. They al chant and jubilate for De Gea to.hr sasck; ETH got the approval of the board directors and man was discharged of his duty from Manchester United and they bring in Onana, they celebrated him but they are the same people that want Onana to be replaced by Raya. But they forgot football season also affect players, some players shine and have their time, even Rashford hasn't made contributions he gave the club last season into this season and they already hated him, sigh!

Quote
It is known that Manchester United is used to making mistakes in the transfer market but I can attest that the case of Onana wasn't a mistake. Onana was among the best of not the available best as at when Manchester United went into the market in search of a goalkeeper. In as much as Onana has not given his best, I can confidently say that Manchester United problem is not a goalkeeper. If Manchester United team is stabled, their goal keeper will be stable.

One thing I love about Manchester United manager, he will continue to use his players as he believes, what people and fans think is not his problem and I think it's fair to see him be himself when he want to do the job. Onana will stay unless Erik is tired of him or maybe he is not longer interested in him and I believe Onana will  improve before the international break finish because he didn't go for Cameroon to support his country in their Afcon qualifiers because of Manchester United burden.

Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ?

You must have been a terrible husband for your wife for your wife to say that you should stop gambling. Gambling has ended some relationships and marriage because of the lack of mutual understanding. I don't there is any reason why your wife will tell you not to gamble, not nice unless there is a reason that justify her demand, I will not do it because I will not stop her from doing her hobbies either so long it doesn't affect her marital vows and same goes to mine as well.

If she give her own reasons why I should quit gambling and points are pick, I will quit because I will equally do anything to save my marriage but if she just feel like I need to quit without any concrete reason, then I'm afraid I can't because some people naturally don't like gamblers, they don't want to see anything like gambling around them, I'm not sure why they are wired like that but those people need to chill, there's nothing wrong with gambling.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 15, 2023, 10:22:03 PM
Sancho going to Barcelona would be a dream for both parties. Juventus is not a huge team, but Barcelona could become a great team with him, they are still not far away from the title possibility at la liga, and they are doing great at UCL as well, so all those combined could mean that we could potentially see him do fine at Barcelona.

Wasn't it same Barcelona that were be call out of several unpaid deals some few days they announced their generated revenue of 2022-2023. Erik must have really take this personal to dispatch Sancho from Manchester United. He want an apology over an unharm 2 line of post. What happened to not allowing him train and bench for some days? Seems he is going to allow his pride win than the club winning the Premier League.

Sancho is going to make a good move for Barcelona, they started well and following Real Madrid and Girona plus if Sancho in the end live Manchester United for Barcelona, he will want to impress Barcelona especially that they are in the Champions League, Manchester United are not showing any sign of making it out while Barcelona are great in their group, there is going to be pressure by next transfer window.

Quote
Juventus had so many troubles and I am guessing that we are not going to end up with that many amazing deals for them in the near future, players and their agents will know that they are not going to get what they want out of there and could face trouble and success could be very difficult. On the other hand if he goes to Barcelona then he is going to get everything he wants there, success, fame, money, everything will be there and he will be playing at the second biggest league in the world. Not like there is anyone who would be better than him neither, so he will get as much time as he possibly could as well.

Bad market for Tottenham I must say, Kulusevski will facing a trial which I guess will be a long term ban like 4-5 years but they are really fine but I can't say what is going to happen after that, but they can still look into the market, more of free agent ar roaming around the market without good offer, maybe they can find someone that can help them patch up this mess.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 15, 2023, 08:46:06 PM
These two teams are currently the bottom two teams in the Premier League after eight matches; Bournemouth already had three points from three draw matches; they are one point behind Burnley, who have just won one match, lost six, and drawn one so far this season, while Sheffield United have so far had just one point out of all the eight games they played; therefore, I expect Bournemouth to win the match because they have had a good performance compared to Sheffield United.

Burnley, Shefflefield, Luton town and Bournemouth suffered the same faith. Irrespective of the point differences, they are not better than each other. However I don't expect to see Bournemouth in that place because if it's experience, they escape relegation last year, at worst case they shouldn't be there right now, it's too early for a club that has experience 38 weeks of strong opposition and then slept there.

The three teams that left Championship and made it to Premier League but underperforming are understandable but it will be disappointing if they don't make it out, that's effort wasted after relagated for so many years only for them to back the prison they left just before they got promoted.

Quote
I don't think Manchester United can lose their match against Sheffield United because they really need consistency in their games in order to keep fighting for the title or top four. Therefore, for them to have consistency, they need to win their next match before facing Manchester City.

The worst team right now in Premier League is not Manchester United, Shefflefield has met with Everton and they drew, and Manchester United form is far ahead of Everton. If they should meet, they will not last 20 minutes before they concede the first goal, Manchester United will leverage them and get that point without stress. Even if you should carry straight win for Manchester United, you have nothing to worry about.
669  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Simple Yet Powerful Message That Will Always Hold True on: October 15, 2023, 04:07:16 PM
The message to newbies has always been the same since the beginning of time. From bitcoin creation to the very time altcoin started to pop up, till the era of NFTs, airdrops and other silly nonsense that shows up to deceive the naive ones. This is the simple message being reiterated -  "Just buy bitcoin and hold your own keys or else you are going to get scammed"

PS- Image source is from a Telegram group. I don't claim ownership of it.

This message is the most underated yet most needed message anyone in crypto needs, not to only newbies, including some people that are guilty of safekeeping thier coins on exchange but the thing is, people that wil listen are going to listen, people that will take corrections will take especially the ones that have been affected by quick scam exit, hacks and insider misappropretition of funds like mismanagement and others.

Many people that are guilty of exchange hack and exits, if they know this earlier, they will not have been among the victims. Many of them are running after the next ROI altcoins on exchanges forgeting that chasing money without puting security into consideration is like trying to make money and live it your door step. I wish even the exchange can give warning to the users about how it is unsafe to keep coins with them, this will increased the rate of custodial savings of coins.
670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What if the internet permanently shuts down on: October 15, 2023, 03:28:01 PM
Some few days back when the forum went down for some hours, some thoughts that I used to have suddenly resurfaced in my mind. What if the internet crashes permanently!  If for any reasons whether natural or manmade the internet suddenly stops working,, what will happen in the world. Unimaginable pandemonium is what will happen, because almost everything is connected to the internet, in fact the world today is so dependant on the internet to transact and communicate almost everything. Be it in finance, telecom, marketing and in every areas of technological advancements, all depends on the internet. It'll seem as if we've suddenly gone back to the stone age, if these where to happen.

Theymos has already addressed that in one of the thread earlier on why the forum keeps going up and down which is always a server down issue.
What you need to understand first is how the internet work. For internet to stop working completely, it means all the communication between the earth and the airspace will stop completely and if that should eventually happen, that means we are going back to the 80s and 70s when there was not internet. However, that is not going to happen, if Isreal shut down their internet today because of war, the rest of the world will continue to use the internet because they don't control other air space, their power is only limited to their country and perhaps some neigbouring countries. So, that is how the internet work.

There are alternatives today even if internet are shutdown, Elon Musk Starlink works anywhere around the world, you need your internet protocol for it to work once you properly installed it. There are also some decentralized internet on the web were you can use internet without any interruption, so chill.
Quote
I'll focus on finance, so I'm thinking what will happen to the bitcoin inside wallets, what will happen to every fiat currency in bank accounts, if everything erases as a result of internet total breakdown? Who do we hold responsible? I know that the internet technology is manmade, therefore it can not be hundred percent immune to faults and external attacks. And what if there is that less than one chance of it being faulty or compromised, what if that less than one  chance happens,? what will be the fate of the world that mainly depends on it to get things done? I'm no tech guru or a prophet of doom, but this are my thoughts and fears on the matter, although I sincerely hope that I'm very wrong on these thoughts.

I'd love to be enlightened better on why it can be impossible that the internet can never be permanently shutdown, having in mind the shortcomings that I've mentioned?

If internet should shut down today, it only stop the computer froms communicating 0 and 1, and they stop right there where the internet was shutdown, if turn back on, nothing will be lost, they will continue from where they stop.
Your assumptions are fictionals, don't think such attack is possible. I think it is because of this kind of possible attack they didn't allow internet to be control by a single country, they made it simple to use and no disturb from other people.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: If USA Will Be In The War - The Government Can Confiscate All Bitcoins on: October 15, 2023, 03:00:38 PM
If USA will be in the war in future or any international conflict that can lead to the war - the USA government can confiscate all Bitcoins for war expenses. There are already 21 millions mined BTC, so this can be real war budget booster for weapons and other expenses. USA currently has also $33.54 trillion in federal debt, so if there are such international conflict, mined Bitcoins seizing for war budget can be really on the White House decision table.

War with who in particular? You can't be in a war and just want to ban use of something when it is not affecting you. If USA should be in a war, they might want to sanction the countries that become their enemy and if they want to make payment through the bitcoin, then that's the only when it becomes an eye soar for them to confisticate any bitcoin transactions they found illicit(in their dictionary), which everyone will understand because it is personal but they can confisticate all the bitcoin, they don't have the power to do that.

Furthermore, Bitcoin miners are not situated in a single location which bitcoin decentralized and decentralized means power shared across diffrent areas. If today USA want to stop bitcoin, they can only ban it in USA but they don't have the power to it globally, the world doesn't only revolve around US, other countries have bitcoin in possession but they don't speak about it and if US don't like it, what US feel don't affect them. It might affect the price but it will get stronger with time.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the need to be known a requirement to qualify for a loan(s)? on: October 14, 2023, 09:59:53 PM
I have no doubt my observation is applicable to even crypto currency lenders, because even these days the P2p system isn't as decentralized or anonymous as before where we think we were trading with bots or fake people/scammers.

Is there any truth to the fact that an individual needs to be known in any place before they can qualify to receive loans?
That is, is the need to be known or identified really required to qualify for a loan?

What are thoughts?

You may not like banks but trust me, if you are them when it comes to lending money to people, you will need to use 3 eyes to see well and make decisions that will favor you to be able to continue the business. You see, human beings are very wicked and they change at slightest opportunity. If documentations are not done properly and they lend money to them, more than 75% of them will not come back to pay back their debt, so don't blame the banks for going overboard to loan known individuals and people they can easily track down.

How do you want a loan to be given to a strange person that you cannot track when he dafualt a payment? What are you going to do if they don't really have a means to pay back? These are the problems you should ask. Even in a decentralized lending platforms that document and information are not collected, a collateral deposit is required before you can borrow money from any of their protocols. If you wish to have a successful business in lending, make sure you know who you are lending but if they provide collateral, I may depends on safe the collateral relative to amount needed.
673  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easy to trust someone? on: October 14, 2023, 09:47:50 PM
A lot of questions have no answers, but only a few have the right answers to 95% of some questions. Well, let me start with trust. Can you trust a person, either a friend, family or a relative, with 100% complete trust? Let me answer myself first? NO I can't. I can't trust anybody fully 100% anymore because I have seen some though cases.

People trust for some reasons, they trust naturally or after someone ha done something for them but all in all, it's not enough to give human all the trust because they are human. They can be in a inconvenient situation tomorrow and can compromise you, only few of them are gems out there that will not see you for anything no matter what is put on the table; So if you must trust, you also need to be careful of people bit personally, I don't trust people but I share this bond with my family that they will not betray me, I have been there many times and they have given what worth more than anything I could I ever have.

Quote
However, almost all of us here have a fiat bank account and some of us have what we call a personal identification number, which refers to an ATM pin that we use for withdrawal or sending funds out, so the question is a bit simple: WHO DO YOU TRUST WITH YOUR BANK ATM PIN? if you have a person that you fully trust with your ATM pin, can you also trust that same person with your seed phrase?

There are things that are supposed to be kept within me, they are private and nobody not even my family are meant to have access to it. What do you need my ATM pin for? Why should I trust you with my seed phrase? There is none. My investment or savings is my responsibility unless may be my wife want to have access to it which I can be cool with so long that we have children together, I can do it for that sake but not my brother, sisters or father and mother. They will probably ignore me if I ask them there pin or seed phrase.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your Favorite Altcoin and Why? on: October 14, 2023, 09:29:28 PM
Post your favorite Altcoin below and tell us why you think so.
[/size]

BNB(Binance Coin) is my favorite altcoin of all time because it has a lot of utility which I can fully utilize since I’m using Binance exchange frequently. BNB can be use to reduce fee on exchange, to participate on Binance Launchpad, Gas fee on binance smartchaij and many more which other altcoin can’t do since BNB is the only token from exchange with a very successful blockchain network.

BNB has grown so much from been an exchange utility token to a blockchain that now home most cheapest tokens on the crypto market. Ethereum use to be the best of smart contract blockchain but the dynamic fee has damage the friendship it gives small crypto start ups and now there are many more of them now fighting for safe chain that is cheap and affordable in fee and high security.

I like bnb but it's influence by CZ, we can't deny that. Another thing that change about the launchpad kill the value of bnb, they change from 30 days staking to be eligible for launchpad to 3 days and when people are done with selling their tokens, they sell their bnb as soon as possible which is killing the price.

Quote
OP(Optimism) is my second favorite since its very volatile but it’s price has definite low and high boundary which is very profitable if you know how to play it since this altcoin has a very good trading volume and liquidity.

Optimism is great but I think it's another layer 1 that are investors are ready to pump and dump immediately they are done with selling. We should be asking ourselves the questions "what happened to the previous tokens that were hype to people. What happened to the development? What happened to the pre-sale raise money. Are we going to continue to lie to each other and keep recycling money within the poor and the rich, altcoins are not solving anything except for their values.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: October 13, 2023, 12:10:02 PM
What good does it make to use a hardware wallet when you'd need to eventually move your coins for trading? The security lies in the exchange itself. Not your wallet. Your best bet would be to only send the amount your willing to sell in a centralized exchange. For large amounts, decentralized exchanges (DEXs) would be the way to go.

People just need to follow proper security measures to avoid losing it all in an instant. It's just that the majority is not willing to put their time and effort to do this. Everybody wants "the easy route". Convenience goes on top of everything else, right? Hopefully, people will realize CEXs aren't as safe as they claim to be. As long as decentralization wins, nothing else matters. Wink

Trading on dex from a non custodial wallet is the best security wise but they have their own challenges. They are limited with coins that you can trade, they may lack volume too and in the process of trading, bots can outrun your trade with high slippage. The biggest problem of them is bridging between chains to trade, for example, if you want TRX and you have ETH, you will have to bridge in between chain to be able to swap between TRX and ETH or any other altcoins. Some bridges are not also safe, you can lose your funds if you communicate with the wrong contract execution.

Each exchange have it's own advantage and disadvantages but for non traders, there is no any reason to keep your coins on exchanges, personal/non custodial  wallet is the best of them and if you must trade everytime, don't put all funds in a single exchange.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How did Ripple (XRP) become so popular and blow up in price? on: October 13, 2023, 11:37:44 AM
ripple has always having bad rumour surrounding it but regardless this coin still becoming popular i guess part of it because the investors of ripple are usually newbies, they see ripple having partnership with big banks they then so sure ripple will be as valuable as bitcoin but thats just my speculation there might be other reason why its so popular.

Ripple is a noise maker project, they do this, they do that with banks, next blockchain of the banks. Where exactly are the partnership banks that are utilizing ripple to make borderless transaction around the world? There is none, banks don't have their own power on their own because the Central banks are watching to kick them out of the system if found of any violation.

Secondly, they make news everywhere and here, won the lawsuit against SEC which I'm happy about but ripple is and will never come close to bitcoin because bitcoin is different and ripple is different. Take a look at the pricees, since ripple crash in 2018 after the bull run, it has not exceeded the previous ATH, I really wonder if the price will grow pass that or maybe 2018 was fake pump.

xrp one of old coin like doge and ltc, lot of people already knew xrp was centralized and they dumping continuesly to market. and makes lot of money from it,
back then only few coin to choose and with ton of free money they easy to pump to ultimate high even passing eth sometimes in 2017 and makes no.2 crypto for couple days

It makes a lot of sense to say that investors that had Xrp earlier in the crowd funding time had access to billions of Xrp at cheaper price and sell off and abandoned the new investors. The new investors are stuck in between and may just be waiting to see full recovery to exit the market without looking back, the reason why the price has been stuck behind.
677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common mistakes by unskilled traders on: October 13, 2023, 11:20:09 AM
Many newbie and crypto enthusiastic think trading is easy until they lose on the first day, 1 week,1month, 1year and they finally quit.

A year is long for a any serious trader to adjust to any mistake. I don't think there is a trader that will quit after waiting and patiently trying for 360 days only for them to quit. Unless such trader don't have a vision, it's very easy to learn trade and map out mistakes for such period of time. In addition, trading is easy when explained too but when you do it yourself, you will feel the hard part but that is the best for any person that want to learn trading fast.

Quote
There are common mistakes they usually makes which are,
Remember trading requires not just strategy, but discipline

To summarize everything you wrote, trading mistakes can be adjusted by risk management. If you put risk management before everything on your trade, your mistakes will be less, the remaining mistakes that I can point out depends on how you understand trading. A serious trader will do a proper research, a trader who want to make profit will learn how to control his emotions, a real trader will make plan which is still risk management.
678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long to learn trading? on: October 13, 2023, 11:00:46 AM
Trading is not a course to be honest. Yes you can learn the basics of trading or how to read the market etc. But if you ask how to trade? Then it can be learnt by experience only. I will suggest you a basic roadmap. Learn the initial pre requisite for trading. Learn about analysing charts and patterns of coins.

Not a course but the process of learning can be seen as a course. I have watch and downloaded many tutorials from Udemy and was even given a certificate of enrollment. How you understand trading depends on:
  • Who tought you the trading
  • The techniques
  • How fast the learner reciprocate the learning
  • How good you the learner is able to transform the basic into real trading.
People skip the last part but you can't understand trading if you don't put your test into real trading.

When you are done with this, then go for demo trading with dummy money. Once you are confident with this, then switch for real money and trade with minimising the risk.

Demo trading are scams, it doesn't prepare newbies for the real task ahead. Everyone that try demo trading win all the time but when it comes real trading, they lost everything. Instead of going for demo, it's better to utilize paper trading, it's like doing real trading but instead of dummy live, it's going to be on real time. Trading live has that feature.

I still don't know why some persons see copy trading as a breakthrough for themselves since they don't really know how to trade and earn some funds for themselves. I had tried copy trading many times and sometimes I end up losing money looking at the capital those big influencers are using to trade in the market and comparing it with what you are using.

Market volatility casue one to lose money from the if care is not taken especially if we are trading with a very small amount of capital. I would prefer us to try to learn and understand trading than to go for copy trading which can be very addictive and not profitable in a long run. Many exchanges are making big profits from copy trading in case we don't know.

Binance are exchanges don’t have much liquidity as they used to in the last 2 years, copy trading is just one of the smart move CZ and other exchanges are trying to use to bring back people to the exchange. Remember last year December when people were reporting exchange of not having customers fund and despite the report of proof of reserves, many withdraw there coins just to be safe, copy trading is only another vehicle for distraction, nothing dazzling about the copy trading feature.

People don't know how something work, they will not ask, they will rush and do it, it's after they failed you see testimonies and outcries of scam, copy trading is the same thing. People are lazy if not, why will you copy another traders idea and set up just to think they are experts, even experts makes mistakes and the funny move about the copy trading is that, a mistake from a particular trader will result in plenty of traders losing money as well, the exchange take their trading fees and you are left with nothing.

It depends on the type of gambling a gambler chooses to do.
If you are good at sports, only do sports betting.
If you play poker, go for poker games only on casino.
If you feel you are lucky at dice games, there are plenty options and you may try crash games too.

The question is, how focused you are at building a career in gambling if that is what you want to do in your life for long time. If you can take small risks and have proper money management with good risk to reward strategy (you need it here too), then you can make a successful career in gambling. If you do not wish to gamble, there are other options too like creating a gambling website for a client, integration of crypto in it, providing customer support services and plenty other things to do to make a career in it without gambling yourself.

It depends even if you decide to focus on sport betting. I have seen stubborn gamblers in my life that don't just know when to quit, they will come back again even if they lose. I will not advice any person to choose career in gambling unless they want to start the gambling business, that's the only successful career I have seen people don't regret ever making with proper management.

Alternatively, use gambling career as a shortcut to gather wealth and pour that into another business you know you can handle, a time will come that gambling luck will fade away from you because gambling companies change a couple of one or two things and also do review on how players win their money, so that when you don't win again, you will have a place to fall back to again.
