و سرعان ما إرتفع سعر العملة الخاص بالمنصة من 14$ إلى 20$ في الوقت الحالي. و أشار زي أيضا إلى أن حركة سعر العملة سيكون شديد التقلب لذا يجب الحذر أكثر لمن أراد الإستثمار في العملة.
أفكر حاليا ماذا سيحدث لو تم الإستحواذ على المنصة من طرف بينانص

حتى عملة بينانس شهدت ارتفاعا كبيرا بعد الخبر، لكن الان (و لسبب غير واضح) سارع السوق للانخفاض من جديد، بل قد وصلت عملة المنصة ل 9.50 دولارات. المشكل الان أن الاستحواذ لم يكتمل بعد...يعني في حال وجد مدير بينانس مشكل ما في مالية المنصة، فهو بطبيعة الحال لن يقوم بهذه العملية و في تلك الحالة، سوف يتنهي أمر منصة أفتكس و عملتها في دقائق قليلة من اعلانهم عن الأمر. و للأسف هو الأمر الذي سوف يسبب خسائر كبيرة لمستخدمي المنصة التي يبدو أنها لا تمتلك السيولة اللازمة. أما في حال حدوث الاستحواذ بنجاح، فأنا أرى أن الأمور سوف تعود لطبيعتها، لكن في المقابل، هذا سوف يساهم في جعل امبراطورية بينانس أكبر على ما هي عليه الان، و الذي بدوره يؤثر على عالم العملات المشفرة و طبيعته اللامركزية |

Crypto exchange Binance said Tuesday it signed a letter of intent to acquire rival FTX Trading, which it said was facing a liquidity crunch.
FTX said it agreed to a strategic transaction with Binance, pending due diligence.

Exodus also supports taproot addresses (not sure when it got added). In order to activate it, you need to go to settings -> turn on Advanced wallet mode -> go back to your bitcoin wallet, and turn on "Taproot addresses".  |

He uses the Changenow widget added through iFrame on the WordPress site. Nothing is illegal because they Changenow consciously allowed it. anyone can put it on their site or page. Check here https://changenow.io/embeds/widgetbut that can open another problem over time. I realize that it's not illegal but when both the widget and home page look similar, some people might see it that way. I think it'd be wiser to change the frontend a bit. |

You should probably change the site's design, this can be seen as a phishing attempt. - UX: You should ask for the payout address on the home page when the user is filling in the amount, instead of opening the same window again, and asking him for extra details. - I tried to exchange BTC for BTC. This shouldn't be possible to do, and yet, I was given an address to deposit funds. - The address validation is not working properly. The address can be invalid, and you would still get the green checkmark. if you proceed to the next step, you get this error: Something went wrong. Try later or change your transaction. Error:
Which is bad, because the user can't know that the problem is coming from the address and not something else, especially when you confirmed that the address is "good" in the previous step. |

كتحديث: لقد قامو باضافة اللغة العربية (اضافة الى لغات أخرى) في الموقع أيضا. لا أدري متى تم ذلك بالضبط لكن أعتقد أنها اضافة جديدة.
الترجمة لا بأس بها من وجهة نظري، من ناحية الواجهة، أرى أن تغيير خانات الأسعار (السعر، القيمة السوقية الخ) الى "من اليمين-الى اليسار" سوف يكون أفضل.

Where are you located, and how can you manage to offer your services without KYC? From what I have seen, almost every instant exchange out there can ask you to verify your identity if they notice a "suspicious activity".

I personally think that more exchanges should adopt this as long as users don't get charged when they have nothing on their accounts because it seems like something that would encourage users from keeping their funds in off exchanges.

وكلوسي مسجون منذ 23 ديسمبر 2021 وقد مثل أمام الغرفة الجنائية لمحكمة الدار البيضاء المختصة بالقضايا الجنائية وقدم نفسه أمام القاضي على أنه رجل أعمال.
ووجهت إليه تهمة "الاحتيال" و"الدفع بعملة أجنبية على الأراضي المغربية" ولا سيما لاستخدامه عملات بيتكوين لشراء سيارة فاخرة.

If everyone has a unique BTC address, how come that they can avoid broadcasting the transaction? Lots of people trading in all those CEX/DEX, the network should be full of those transactions, no?
When you first make an account, they assign an address to you. Imagine the following table in their database (let's say we already have funds in our accounts): +-----------------+-------------+---------+

So now, whenever you trade your BTC to USDT for example, all they need to do is update your record based on how much you bought or sold without having to touch the bitcoin or ethereum networks. So if you sold 1 BTC for 20K USDT, it would be something like this: UPDATE users_table

1. They give one or multiple addresses for each user for the different coins there are and yes, they do keep the private keys.
2. It's just 1's and 0's moving around in their database. You're not broadcasting a bitcoin transaction when you're trading your BTC for another coin.
3. A deposit address is unique and connected to your account (user ID), no two people can have the same deposit address.
4. It's the same concept for all coins. They'll just subtract and add from/to your account's balance from their database.
Also:
- When you deposit to your BTC address, for example, the funds may not stay there (if you check the blockchain) and can be sent elsewhere (sent to the exchange's other hot wallets, or to somewhere else) which means that when you request a withdrawal, the funds will be coming from another address, and not the same you used to deposit.

Was it a Tails Live CD installation? If so and you haven't saved the private keys/seed either, then there's sadly no way to recover the funds.

You're saying Bitcoin wallet ID, so I'm guessing you're referring to a centralized service? maybe Blockchain.com?
If it's just an ordinary address, then you can try to see if it belongs to an exchange (using walletexplorer.com) and If it does, seek help from your local law enforcement.

I don't remember coming across this exchange before, but apparently, their hot wallets have been hacked today and 28 million dollars were lost. This is the CCO's statement: "Hackers have gained access to our wallet server, which enabled them to initiate withdrawals from our hot wallet," Strijers said. "We keep 99% of our assets in cold storage and only 1% in hot wallets. The hacker gained access to these hot wallets."
Strijers also revealed that the entirety of the loss will be covered by Deribit's balance sheet assets, which are separate from the company's $40 million insurance fund.
For those who are using the exchange: Make sure to not send the funds to your previously generated addresses, as they're going to be replaced by new ones. Security incident update
Deribit is working towards opening regular on-chain withdrawals later today.
Once this happens all Deribit deposit addresses for BTC, ETH and USDC will have to be re-generated, in the front end you will see your previous address(es) have been removed.
