1322  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GOOD token possible scam on: July 20, 2017, 06:54:50 AM
There have been several fly-by-night coin scams these past few years and the people behind those schemes made off with a tremendous amount of money.

With serious money invested and injected into these schemes, due diligence, transparency and genuine verifiable names are mandatory. Evading requests for such information makes these projects highly suspect.

I remember an Indian scammer who had a similar thing going on on this forum and one day he disappeared with a scandalous amount of money. Amazing.. the ingenuity and sophistication of these scams.

It goes without saying that everybody reading this thread should use escrow. Do not send bitcoins to this person upfront.

Escrow only. Don't fall for tricks such as "deposit 1 bitcoin first and pay the rest later when you get the "gold" bars".

If he refuses to use escrow, then he is a scammer. A fraudster. A thief.

1325  Economy / Goods / Re: I'll buy one Porsche 911 for 1BTC. on: July 18, 2017, 08:15:28 AM

Just curious haw long will it take. Smiley 2 -5 years I'll guess.

A Porsche matchbox, yes.

A roadworthy Porsche for 1 BTC.. dream on. Dream forever.

1326  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BITCOIN EXCHANGE HERE: COINS.PH and GCASH on: July 17, 2017, 12:27:44 AM
This will be my official bitcoin exchange.

Im willing to exchange BTC, with COIN.PH and GCASH or vise versa

Rates are +/- 2% from coins.ph buy/sell price if using coins.ph wallet

+/- 5% if using GCASH from preev.com rate

Post your inquiry here and not thru PM so others would see our transactions.

Thanks

Im a verified user in both coins.ph and gcash

P.S. I reserve the right to decline transaction if I think we have a problem with your trust rating.
For some instance I may need to ask for some ID for verification.

You are forgetting escrow.. do not forget that. Include it in the above information.

Or were you simply expecting people here to send you bitcoins upfront?

You will use escrow for these transactions. Reputable and established escrow members on this forum. If you decline to use one, you are just another criminal trying to steal bitcoins to get some free pesos.

1327  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I wanna buy btc from reliable user in here (I have visa card) on: July 17, 2017, 12:21:50 AM
Hi, I am interested on buying btc with my visa/mastercard card but I wanna avoid all the hassle concerning ID verification and so on. So in order to avoid scams I would be grateful if you recommended me the most realiable btc dealer in this forum?. I plan to buy around 2k worth btc. Cheers.

Sure, no problem. You wanna avoid all the hassle concerning ID verification, right? All good. And what was that? You have visa/mastercard card, right? Here are the steps:

1. Take your visa/mastercard card to the ATM... (don't worry, the ATM won't ask you for ID)

2. Withdraw cash.

3. Come back to this forum and respond to your thread with "hi guys, i now have 2k cash and can send via a non-reversible method"

4. Seller sends the bitcoins to an escrow. You send the money to the seller. Escrow releases the bitcoins to you.

See? Easy.

(but of course i know you are a carder or just another criminal trying to steal bitcoins)
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 80 LTC on: July 16, 2017, 02:14:34 AM
Hey All,
Need 80 LTC happy to pay via PayPal, verified account (can give id)
PM me please
Thanks

Newbie.. PayPal.. "chargebackable" payment = high risk.

Withdraw your PayPal to your bank account and use the cash to pay using a non-reversible method.

Or pay with PayPal and wait 180 days until chargeback date limit is over.

And escrow only.

1329  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 14 btc ! WU - MG Only ! Rate : 5-10% on: July 16, 2017, 02:03:51 AM
Hey I'm selling 14 btc Smiley
I would like a rate between 5-10%.
And I'm looking for one deal

If you are invited to discuss privately on Skype, keep your guard up at all times. Do NOT fall for any tricks such as those suggesting "let's do this 1 bitcoin a time... you send first".

Escrow always. No exceptions.

Let these scammers go hungry.

PS I love it... all these scammers pm'ing me, threatening and angry

Hey I'm selling 14 btc Smiley

Be extremely careful with any offers. Scammers will soon swarm this thread like flies do on a pile of horse dung.

Escrow only on LBC or this site. Reputable and established escrow members. Check directly with the escrow. Don't take screen shots or copy/paste instructions. When you get private messages from criminals telling you they already contacted OgNasty, verify directly with that escrow member. Do NOT fall for fake escrow instructions.

1332  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 400 Bitcoin on: July 16, 2017, 12:26:08 AM
I would like to leave a public notice I have been in contact with the OP and he's interested in purchasing 400 bitcoins from me.

I've also read he's talking to other sellers for similar amounts... What is exactly happening? I was given the impression the sale was to be conclusive.

If anyone else is planning to "meet with him to check the cash" in Switzerland, not using a trusted escrow and getting soothed in the large fee promised, I advise you to be weary of your very own life, aside of course your bitcoin.

OP please shed some light on this matter. Are you hoarding a bunch of potential vendors for precautionary reasons or is this all a honeypot?

Neue Variante, uralter Trick.

**********************************************************************

In short, I try to translate my german text above:

The Story of a very huge Offer comes in every few days, and its always a hoax.
Take care, NOBODY in Europe is so stupid and pays 10% fee on such a huge amount.
There are several groups of scammers in Europe who target traders.
You will get lured to a foreign destination and in the very best case, loose only all your btc.
Specially beware of destination North Italy, Russia, Switzerland.

I know personally already victims of that scam.
It is organised, they are more persons involved than you can see, and they are better than you expect, beware!!!

One Message to the scammers: There are already several eyewitnesses and descriptions of persons...
...one day you will pay for your crimes

Has the OP anything to respond to these allegations?

What i can tell you is the seller contact me by btctalk.

2 weeks after i have the opportunity to see the cash, is legit.

Trade gonna be in a fucking hotel Im not so stupid to go somewhere to pickup anything.

3 Each of us will go with few muscles just to feel more safe.

You think Im a scammer i work for 10£ per hour, but if you jealous cos they contact me instead of you.... find better friends.

I got piss you abused from the trust system.

how you dare to leave me a fucking review like it? i did talk something to you?

have a good day

You sound like a scammer. A fraudster. A criminal.

A trade of this magnitude should not be done in a hotel but in a safe enclosed place such as a bank where funds can be immediately checked for authenticity and deposited or in a transit area of an international airport where these so-called "buyers" cannot simply perpetrate a hit-and-run operation.

1333  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 400 Bitcoin on: July 16, 2017, 12:19:45 AM
Ah maybe raped women are also guilty, and the raper is innocent?
Murdered victims are guilty, and murderers are innocent beacuse the victims were not prepared to defend themselfes?
Thats a crazy ethic...

I never said the perpetrators are innocent. If someone has blood on their hands, they must face their own consequences. But everyone must accept responsibility for whatever happens in their lives. Since everything that happens in this world is necessary and occurs because of previous circumstances (this case being the victims naivete) setting the stage for these occurrences.

You sound like a scammer justifying your scams and motivations for scamming. You have the nerve to absolve criminals of the blame and the consequences of their actions.

Criminals are fully responsible for the damage caused. There are no ifs or maybes or buts. They are adults and are capable of making choices. If they choose to hurt or kill someone, it is wrong to say it's the victim's fault because the police wasn't there or because the victim was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

1334  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending upto 1 BTC on: July 13, 2017, 06:36:08 AM
Nice scam attempt but that won't float.

All collateral should be held in escrow. Not by you but by a reputable and established escrow member here.

1335  Economy / Goods / Re: I am selling gold for Bitcoin on: July 12, 2017, 07:46:48 PM

I work as an IT service management consultant and have a few internet ventures.

I am fairly new to Bitcoin and have set up business venture that sells gold in exchange for Bitcoin. The website prices physical small gold coins and bars in BTC as per gold and BTC spot rate. My website uses BitPay as payment processor.

I realise that I have to establish myself in this business through promotion and also becoming trusted. ( I am aware of the number of scams in this sector).  Before I am trusted in this business, would it help to prove my commercial identity somehow? Also maybe you can advise me, should I start by selling some cheaper items e.g. silver coins as an interim step as people might be less reluctant to buy these?

I would like to find out, is anyone interested in buying gold with Bitcoin to hedge their Bitcoin positions against market moves?

Please let me know your thoughts.

The website URL is:   bitgoldbypost.co.uk   (I have about 70,000 dollars worth of gold coins stock to sell in the company right now).

(I will also be starting a signature campaign, currently getting a banner made. If there is someone who can run a signature campaign for low fees, please let me know).

Nick

Yes yes, all nicely worded etc.

The main issue here is escrow. You do understand that people who want your gold should transact under escrow protection only, right? Nobody will send bitcoins first. A middle man or escrow must hold the bitcoins until the gold coins are received and confirmed genuine.

1336  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling bitcoins for payoneer on: July 11, 2017, 09:52:08 AM
FYI, I had asked Payoneer's support staff about the legitimacy of using Payoneer for the purpose of currency exchange that involves Bitcoin, and the staff said that Payoneer does not support such an use.

I don't give fuck, it not my first time trading bitcoins for payonner.

Oh my oh my, when scammers are butt hurt, they start using the F word..

That's what happens when scammers go hungry. They brain goes in cursing mode

1337  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: #1 Bitcoin Buyer! Always ONLINE & READY TO TRADE on: July 09, 2017, 12:40:59 PM
Oh jesus freaking christ, another PayPal ad, complete with a soon-to-vouch alias. They just keep coming and coming.

Guys, make an effort! Be smart enough to recognize these scams. Protect your bitcoins!

1338  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Suggest a way to convert my 1000$ Tango Virtual Prepaid Mastercard to Bitcoins on: July 09, 2017, 10:30:08 AM

All this passive advertising! You are indirectly inviting people to buy your virtual card's balance! You're just not mentioning it outright to avoid being called out or red tagged.

If you really have that $1k balance, you will find it difficult to sell that since it is in your name and you have absolute control over that card. Anyone who buys it risks seeing the money reversed or charged back. Or you can regain control over the account after getting the bitcoins by simply contacting Tango and giving them all the information they need to restore your ownership.

You should either offer to buy goods for people on the goods section and they pay you bitcoins for those goods (escrowed of course) or you should upload the funds to your Skrill account and buy bitcoins with those Skrill funds. 96% of btc on Skrill is not bad. Trades here ask for a greater margin than that. If you are not willing to take the 4% loss on Skrill, then I suspect strongly that you are simply playing the luring game here. Waiting for newbies to take the bait as usual.

1339  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] PayPal [W] BTC on: July 09, 2017, 10:18:57 AM
I sell btc for paypal at 15%

I agree, but due to the comment from realproject we need to use an escrow.
Of course, you can go first with small amounts if you want.

Scammer caught red handed. This is 100% a scam!

Scammers always say "you go first with small amounts". It's how they convince their victims to send first!

Stop people. Just stop dead on your tracks and think for a second! Do NOT send any amount, not even "small amounts" upfront to these newbie scammer thieves! It's simply their way of scamming!

PayPal and newbie are a poisonous combination!
1340  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] PayPal [W] BTC on: July 09, 2017, 10:16:02 AM
This PayPal sticky is useless. All these crazy scamming newbies keep coming back here with their PayPal ads. Something must be done about it. Perhaps a filter feature which blocks posts that have the word PayPal on it.
