Guys, is it possible to say "this is my masternode's ip"? because I want to use no-ip.org which gives you a static ip. But it is actually just a redirect type thing. (i don't know what it's called)

So yeah, can I run a masternode from my (dynamic ip) house like this?
I've never seen that idea put forth.  I'd suggest asking in the DRK thread.
Ok I will. Thanks.
Ok, since no one has answered me in the Darkcoin thread, I am asking Mr. Spread. Is it possible?

Hey everyone, is it possible to run a masternode from my (dynamic ip) house with no-ip.org? (the same as dyndns.com)

Basically, I want to know if I can say "use e1ghtSpace.no-ip.org as my masternode's ip".

Thanks.
Anyone?

Spreadcoin is not spreading at all, i mined it for a week with 2 970gtx and didnt get any of it. i have 7.4 mhash in ccminer but hashrate isnt showing in wallet is that ok  Undecided
ccminer? or sgminer?

This is either super bad luck or a problem with your setup. Is you wallet running on your mining rig?

Question ...
There is a possibility of stolen funds block in crypto currency universe? If so, this implementation would be very difficult or not?  Huh
I think you are talking about a 51% attack. The answer is yes, it would be difficult as you would need more than 50% of the hashrate.

Got 2.3MH/s on 280X, and 2.7 on 290X. I think it's likely the speed can double, but it'll take a lot of annoying work.

Screenshot (NSFW): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/spreadwolf-01172015.png
I was thinking "How could this be not safe for work?" while the page was loading.

So you're a furry?

Yep - kind of surprised you haven't seen one of my screenshots already, if you're a GPU miner.
I used to mine when it was profitable but I don't anymore as my power bill is 30c/kw or whatever it is in Australia. Plus, my GPU makes a ticking sound. It's sort of cool listening to the ticks as I turn up the intensity. It goes in a pattern. I wonder what it'll be like with your code improvements.

Will I be able to create my own masternode in my own (dynamic ip) house using no-ip.org? Is there a way to specify the no-ip.org ip as my masternode's ip?

Thanks.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: January 17, 2015, 06:40:22 AM
Is it pool-proof, multipool-proof?

Yes it is, why not give it a try?
The funny thing about multipools is that you'd make more spreadcoins just directly mining it yourself.

Somehow my unofficial spreadcointalk website has had more people online at once than the official one. lol Smiley

what, you still run it? lol
Nah, I just went to it to see if it was still there.

My predicton is that in 6 days we will be at 75k sats. Mark my words.

Can someone please explain to me how this works? I want to know.

Been keeping with SPR on her for a few weeks now. Thinking I should get in but everyone always is saying how most or all altcoins are scams, but this seems really good. n00b question but is 53 thousand sat a good time to enter or do you guys think it may go back down and I could get in cheaper. Looks strong to me but I dont know very much yet
Well, the cost to actually mine each coin is 50k sats so I think it is a very nice time to buy in.
Once masternodes get implemented I think we'll see more than 250k sats.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: January 15, 2015, 08:16:01 PM
Hi, does anyone know if hash rate is combined, when it's coming from different locations but, using same SPR address? thx
Yes, it'll be combined. It's just like pools.

Second block found but not added to my wallet, that's just too strange...
It was probably a reject. Too normal. Smiley

Oh wow! Thank you for your generous donation!

I remember when I tried to make the spreadcoin logo into liquid before some of the thin parts would be detatched. So I won't be able to do that idea.

Right now I have a floodgate opening up and glowing liquid flows out of it. It doesn't have anything to do with Spreadcoin. But if I made the fluid purple would that be considered a Spreadcoin thing because the water spreads out?

No problem.

That actually sounds cool...I would be interested in seeing anything that you create...
Alright. It should be ready in 6 hours. Simulating the liquid takes a lot of time and unfortunately I messed up the last simulation because a few drops of liquid landed on an invisible ledge which I didn't know existed.

hi guys need help i get only 1.8 Mh/s with an R9 280x it is normal ?

Thx in advance
Not sure. What level is your intensity on? I have an R9 290X and I get 2.7Mh/s with my intensity on 21.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Hmm... I could make the Spreadcoin logo turn into liquid and flow over a globe or something.
Would that be ok? I don't know how I would make it flow into a globe though

I was spitballin...I like your idea better than my suggestion...the only thing I would add is if it would be possible to kind of have a few of the splash points stand out so that the idea of decentralized nodes could be an implicitly represented in the graphic.

That sounds complex though...I think it would be epic without that detail.

I'll try to look into it but I might not do it. Sorry Sad

No need to apologize...I just thought your efforts were cool and wanted to provide feedback.

What if you ignored everything I said and went with your idea?

PM me your SPR address and I'll send you 125 SPR for the consideration (will be tomorrow/later today/timezones)...and you don't have to continue if you don't want to.  Art is worth supporting...-thumbsup-

I was pretty drunk last night and didn't see that you had an address in your signature.  Thanks for humoring my comments; 125 SPR sent...

Cheers.

Edit to Add - I sent from Trex so only 124.8 made it to your address...oops...
