Bannable offense that is , my young padawan /sarcasm mexxer you got something wrong, i never asked or assumed to ban people  The tough question though - which I might have overlooked in my enthusiasm earlier - is where is the border? 80% discount is probably carded, how about 50%, 20%, 12.499999%? You asked hilarious if they think an 80% discount is legit, but ignored their question about where the cut off point is between obviously carded and quicksale. The board will most likely stay as it is, if its obviously illegal (fake IDs) it will be removed, if its borderline (99.79% discount) it will stay. okay i thought in one of my messages i wrote: if i want to sell something because i have it around but dont need it or need quick bucks, i might give an awesome discount (like 80%). but this wont work on hundreds of accounts. even if you are a reseller of whatsover you wont be able to provide endless awesome discounts on accs but you might be able to show some proof. dont get me wrong, i like cheap stuff too but like i said before numerous times: 3$ on a netflix lifetime acc? NO WAY. I also not saying to kick anything in question that might be not legit, i would be happy with those that are obvious. |

Well, i say it again: Staff and administration should talk about this and bring a clear statement on it. If the operators of this site decide they are okay with it, i can just stop visiting that sections or just leave the forum. Until its official, i can just try to change it.

Considering you want an official statement from the(an) admin: (That quote is coming in handy) As for banning every user for suspicion of doing something illegal , I say (coming up with a nice word to put this->Results not found-> Using passive-aggressive tone) bullcrap. If they openly describe it as being carded or illegal, then their thread should be deleted, a ban is not an answer. The thread I pointed out(earlier), an improvement on the guidelines(the one from theymos) might be better in this case IMO. But as it goes, until you don't create enough drama to get the attention of admins, rules stay as they are.
Hilarious' say on the matter, below BB's post is also something you should take in mind again i am not talking about scams, i am talking about selling cracked, hacked and carded stuff. if there is a posting for admins saying something like: "we dont care about people selling stolen stuff on here" i will just not look at the sections again or think about leaving the community. i dont care about the ongoing scams and i am not talking about scams. |

You can just as easily buy these accounts with Paypal or whatever on other forums but I guess it's down to whether theymos wants the activity here and that's up to him but needs to be clarified. beacause "no one can determine if it is a scam or illegal somewhere on the globe"? come on guys, thats just a lame excuse. It has long been the rule that staff do not moderate scams or potential ones so I don't know why this is such a pressing issue for you but I'm more concerned about consistency. If it's deemed that we should remove them then I will but there needs to be consensus about what sort of threads get removed or not and staff all need to be on the same page whether we like the rule or not as we can't have one or two staff members deciding they don't like certain threads and removing the little amount they can whilst others ignore them and go by the existing rules. It just causes more problems and issues otherwise (just look at the threads we've already had in Meta today and the numerous people who have been complaining to me via PMs because they've had their threads removed whilst others haven't). again, 100% of the sellers are not BiPolarBob and while typing this you knew exactly there is a huge difference between him and those offers. They might not be bipolarbob but people were complaining his deals were too good to be true and must be illegal but it looks like they weren't so do we trash those type of threads as well or do you just have issue with people selling accounts that are likely hacked or shared ? If so, why? Do we disallow anyone selling various giftcodes with discounts too? A lot might be carded or obtained nefariously but many others won't be but how can we tell? And that's why it's not always black and white and why we generally leave scams alone but if the admins want to change or amend the rules then I'm open to it but all the mods need to follow the rules set out currently as it's going to be messy otherwise. 1) its i not ridiculous, illeagal stays illegal, paint it blue or red, still illegal. its that simple. If i have something here i dont need but i need money urgent, i might sell it off cheap because i am in need. But no one has hundreds off accounts around for the same sites. This cant be legit. Did you remember BipolarBob ? In those cases ... his giveaways were really legit (I suppose). However, the things (unfortunately) will not change here... so let's move on . Yes they will; starting with me. These accounts fall under rule 17. I'll delete any threads that I see/can delete. According to the stats of my reports nothing happend or a mod choosed to dissmiss it. I reported only three thread were the op stated the accounts were hacked. I might recall my stats wrong but it seems so. I will just go on and report everything that smells fishy. Shouldnt be a problem to explain it if its legal. Unfortunately I can not moderate members of higher hanks there at this time. Any reported threads started by newbies will be removed. 99% of those threads that sell accounts for very cheap are hacked/stolen and thus illegal. It is time that we cleared this place out. That's too complicated for a big userbase. It would be best to "reinstate" the rule against these accounts; he posted about it somewhere. Don't you think you should check with theymos first before taking things into your own hands and going renegade? Why are you going to trash all threads by newbie accounts but not going to do anything about the rule mexxer linked to? Isn't your idea of trashing all these threads going to be 'too complicated for a big userbase'? And what threads are you going to trash or not? Just people selling Hulu/Netflix accounts very cheaply or torrent invites and gift codes etc as well? Would you trash bipolarbob's threads? Are you going to trash a newbie's thread if he offers an Amazon voucher for 70% off? 60% off? 50% off? Where's the cut off point? Remember, we don't moderate scams because of the difficulty in doing so and the problems that arise from it but there needs to be a consensus among Staff about what theads will get removed or they are left be unless there is sufficient proof that they are illegal because all it will do is cause confusion and people will complain about double standards. I have previously only really trashed threads if they explicitly state that they're hacked or cracked etc but it's not going to do any good if there's no consistency and only you or a couple of staff are trashing threads by newbies whilst everyone else's are left alone.
