So, comparing losses to someone else's own, before we stop gambling, is actually a bad practice as gamblers.

I so much agree with you on this very statement you just made above, because the fact that some people lose huge sums while gambling, at times that could be how much they are willing & could afford to lose, unlike if you are a newbie, and then you try to compare yourself with legend gamblers who has got enough funds and willing to risk any amount. Hence, trying to compare yourself or your budget with anybody else is the worst thing any newbie gambler can ever afford to do. Because just as our fingers are not the same, so is our financial strength not the same.
Comparison is not allowed in gambling and should be seen as one of the bad habits and no gambler should ever try source bad act,  because the outcome of this can be highly devastating and for that we can't either avoid group gambling or gambling with friends that may put us in a competitive position,  a lot of time we open to some of those act if we don't keep our gambling activities private and for such it's much more easier to avoid competitions as much as possible.

1362  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 05, 2023, 07:19:18 PM
Before accepting the term of service of the casino we must first of all be willing to hand out our documents for verifications because this is the most important stage that always gets gamblers stock at some point if they don't understand what really is happening.

Maybe that only applies to big gamblers so far, as a small gambler, I don't need to send any identification, just do level 1 verification, filling in the information data is more than enough, I can still withdraw money without having to be asked to send documentation for level 2, every KYC there is always a level. That's why gamblers who have a lot of money should read the rules first before making a large deposit.

Usually people like that never know how the online casino system works where there are rules and requirements that must be read regarding KYC so most of them make large deposits and bets until they end up confused when the casino asks the user to provide their identity and complete their KYC. My suggestion is that rich users should complete their KYC at the beginning
Yes most of those that are asked for kyc is those big bag holders and that os part of the anti money laundering laws which some time are effective in making it hard for corrupt politicians and criminals to use gambling sites as a mix for their stolen funds,  mostly at a time we have to look in the direction of that,  so the casino is always on the lookout for any possible loopholes that is why their place minimum $5,000 one time deposits or withdrawal on none KYC gamblers but any amount above that $5,000+ it may require the account to go through verification,  so for sure a lot has to do with why casino act the way they do and what the reason for kyx demands is because in most cases,  the gamblers are the one that has failed to follow the terms and conditions of the casino.

Unless for scam casinos who may deliberately lock a person out and for some reason to scam the gambler such as in cases with 1xbits unless that,  if not KYC is a prerequisite for higher wagerers.
1363  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 05, 2023, 06:51:48 PM

Well, as much as we don't know the sites out there that are connected to 1xbet, as well as 1xbit, I personally believe that this is the more reason why we all should steer clear from unknown casinos, most especially, unknown casinos outside this forum.

For me personally, ever since I got into this forum and started playing on online casinos, I done well  to avoid casinos that do not have a presence on this forum, except for 1xbet which is a casino I've personally known and played on several occasions before I started playing on online casinos on this forum.

So, in order not to fall victim to puppet casinos belonging to the same family or 1xbit and 1xbet, avoid playing on casinos that are not known out there, and also do not have a presence on this forum.
Based on the available evidence,  we have not linked both 1xbit vs 1bet,  but although we saw a lot of similarities between the two sites both in the game providers and also ways of scamming and locking customers' accounts anytime they make big winning and they want to withdraw,  most of them have complained that their withdrawal got stocked or they are asked to provide documents which at some point,  the team will tell them that the documents still with the security team and will not want to entertain,  recently there is a case with 1xbet of hold g some people winning when the won millions of Naira, I don't know how that case ended but I am sure that the casino will do what there have been known for which is to deny the gamblers they winning.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 05, 2023, 06:27:07 PM

Its not even deserving to be called an investment, its just collectibles, ronaldo might iniitially thought it was legit business because the ones that released the NFT was an exchange with billions of dollars of trading volume that is binance so I guess his management thought that its gonna be fine but we all know some people are so detached from reality they think every investment guaranteed them profit and if they instead losing money it must be the fault of someone.
its simply ridiculous how just a mere $77 could become billion dollars lawsuit, well regardless people should know that NFT, arts more specifically, is just collectibles not investment, anyone should be conscious that these NFT are more likely gonna be ending up having low value if no one bids, after all its art.
When I saw that Binance was mentioned in the lawsuit as the custodial exchange that sold the NTFs I thought it could possibly end well for both parties but then I remembered the recent crisis that hit the exchange in recent times,  and what their debt ratio is right now, much time we have seen celebrities getting into problems like this just because they failed to do due diligence research before offering to promote the project because most of them have fallen to this crisis of management failure to discover future problems and what their motives are.

I think the $77 sell price was the initial and the team promised a certain predetermined price which was promised to the investors and at launch,  they saw that this token failed to increase in price and also fell below the price sale which is what have triggered the anger of investors.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Gala still worth it? on: December 05, 2023, 06:19:17 PM
To be frank when there is any disagreements between founders then you need to be very mindful with your holdings especially when the price is starting to dump on holders, that is one thing about altcoin i don't always like them due to disagreement between founders/team members and to whatever news that may possibly surface one of them may decides to back off from the project by dumping his holding and for the projects to be revived back it would take only the grace of Bull run otherwise those projects that face similar difficulties never rise again that was their ends. Main while altcoin you to be vigilant since falling is inevitable.
Yes, I was about to point that out for the ops, because at that point anything can happen to the project and as long as the crisis lasts it will keep affecting the value and usability of that token,  if I were to be an investor in this project,  I will look out for an exit opportunities to secure my capital instead of buying more.

Alot of time,  most of these tokens are just gambling and at that, we should not take them too seriously and if there is any crack in the management,  it may lead to the collapse of the project eventually.

Let expect Assume that the 100% price recovery was as a result of some positive progress in settling the team issues,  or a trap just to pump the price and dump it on the investor's face,  holding a token since 2022 is a long enough time.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 05, 2023, 06:09:13 PM
For the souls fact that money laundering,  illegal financing and terrorism financing have been on the increase since time past and mostly used is the banking system and a lot of those thief's will rather avoid risking their stolen founds through gambling since their already know that,  there is high possibility for them to lose in trying to meet the wagering requirements for the casino, so for sure,  casino is not the best place to go for them when trying to carry out their money laundering act.

In fact most time those that launder money choose to use cash stashed since they know that with that,  their transactions will be totally untraceable,  it only a few time that,  there can be any possibility of casino becoming tool for money laundering it's upton impossible.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: December 05, 2023, 05:15:41 PM

Also, its never been that ethical or something that would really be that good to take advantage of those gamblers on the verge of that huge losses because you are really that taking
advantage of them on which they would be likely be getting those amounts or loans and trying out to make collateral on everything that they could possible have.
Do you really have that kind of emotion on having no sympathy for their situation or condition? Yes, business is business but we can't really be able to deny that
it isn't really something to be that ethical.
Yeah, I think in those cases,  the collateral is the main aim of the lender because they already know how hard it is to win in gambling and at that will already know that it is almost near impossible to get the loan money back since the gamblers will have suffered a lose from the games,  and will not be able to make repayment of the loan so for sure the lender will have only the collateral as the only available means of getting their repayments back.

Sometimes,  most of those gamblers are already addicted and at that will use even their house or other landed properties as collateral and If they fail to make repayments for the loans,  they automatically forfeit their properties,  so for much as it is given as loans,  it somehow an unknown trap for the gambler to lose something bigger because no lender in their right senses will loan money to a gambler to gamble with without having collateral.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: December 04, 2023, 06:10:47 PM
The last thing I will ever do is lend money to a gambler as a way to assist them to gamble more, a gambler who have gambled until he or she lost all their money also have the potentials also lossing the money they borrowed, or was lended to them, and we all know that, if a gambler loses the money he or she borrowed to gamble, there won't be any way for him or her to pay back the money except he or she looks for an external source.

So for me, I completely disagree with the Ops idea or method of quiting gambling to invest in it rather, I will rather play the gambling myself than lend someone money to do it.
It's like investing in a Ponzi scheme,  how can you lend money to someone to gamble with,  that is the most irresponsible thing to do as most time gamblers lose all their money,  and that is why we have always warned against taking gambling as a means of making earns needs and also taking it as an investment because doing so will cause you more harm than good on the long run,  most times some addicts things that they have the most sure games and at that,  can boldly request for loans just to gamble with and at the end,  they will still lose the bet and money will be wasted.

So anyone that lends a gambler money to gamble,  is just risking himself and should take it as if he is gambling with that money himself.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: December 04, 2023, 06:01:02 PM

We came to the conclusion that many people play without knowing why. Probably many people want to be lucky and in the end the player wins enough money to afford to buy a new house for his family or afford expensive medical care to his relatives. These are all very good dreams and of course there is a chance for this thanks to gambling, it’s just extremely small compared to losing, which is sometimes better to stand on the sidelines. Some believe that they won't achieve this dream in their entire life, and are ready to justify themselves with bets, which is irresponsible. Since we want to try to realize our dreams through gambling, we need a tough approach and informed decisions.
Really,  such a mindset is what have put a lot of gamblers into problems of losing chunk of their holdings,  having the dream of buying a home or having a family vacation using your winning,  many times we have not really taken the time to check what the risk are and how we may not be able to make an anything significantly through gambling,  so again we have to know that,  winning a jackpot in gambling is mostly all about the luck factor and some time that luck are not easily come by,  so we much lower our expectations on best results.

We can't build a dream around gambling because gambling outcomes are unpredictable and still can not be relied on, let's just gamble for fun and nothing more than that.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 04, 2023, 05:51:10 PM
Why should you take a loan just to gamble with,  thos is a bad approchysince this can lead you into debt that may become hard for you to repay,  even as you said you took the loan from the bank,  most time banks loans come with a lot of interest and now that you have lost the money,  how then will you pay back the money,  this is the reason why we always advise against gambling addictions.

Because if you have been an experienced gambler,  you should have known that loans are no good area for gambling and also,  you should not chase after your losses just like in this case.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: December 04, 2023, 05:39:58 PM

Well, please don't make some people or persons without much experience in gambling believe that using or betting with big amount of money is a prerequisite to becoming settled in life, if you are betting big amount of money, there is always the possibility of losing it, and if for whatever reason, you spend an amount of money you can't afford to lose on gambling and end up losing it, rest assured that will surely create some financial problems for you.

So, it is very important to gamble wit caution, don't bet with big amount of money simply because you want win big, most especially, if you can't afford to lose such an amount of money, wining in gambling is not constant, and as far as I know, most gamblers today are in red, if we check the amount they have won from gambling in total, and compare it to the amount they have lost in total.

The gambling should be played with some good capital as like the investment of big money for the business to get good mobey as return from the business.Because the high investment should be not allow to get out of the gambling at the mid level of gambling by no money. The money used in the gambling should be take responsibility by the gambler.Because if they loss of big money make him easy blame of gambling site after the loss in the game.
OK, I think I understand what you mean better now, it is indeed true that having a big bankroll in gambling does give a gambler a good winning edge over those playing with small bankroll, but like you said, the gambler must learn how to manage their bankroll, if not, he or she may like loss it all in a twinkle of an eye.

It's like what you said before in your previous comment that, the more money a gambler have in their bankroll, the more they engage in gambling activities, a gambler who is out of control may even find him or herself betting on games which ordinarily, he or she shouldn't be betting on because he or she lack proper knowledge on such game or sports.
Big bankroll could be a temptation to the gambler if the gambler lack self control, so before a gambler get to that realm of managing a big bankroll, he or she should or first of all master self-control, else, he or she may just end up wasting the money.
Since the total rewards are calculated based on your amount staked that means that having a big amount in bets is what gives you a good amount in winning and that way also you have the chance of lowering your risk by selecting only one game odds and making a big stake on it to give you big rewards.

But those who are involved in such high-stakes bets are those who have taken sports betting as a way to make money in the form of investment.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 04, 2023, 05:25:23 PM
Money laundering from mixers to crypto casinos is a major concern. The mixer crackdown may reroute illegal flows to casinos, but the business won't die. Why? Because AML policies already monitor crypto casinos. Criminals adapt, but so do regulations. But are present AML policies strong enough to handle this possible surge? The government's mixer seizure shows the dangers of lax regulation. Crypto casinos must adapt and impose strict AML to survive. Government involvement is likely if they fail. How can these platforms evolve to beat launderers and meet regulations? The industry has a huge challenge, but it can also demonstrate its integrity and compliance.
I believe that casinos have some anti-mixer mechanism,  I am just assuming though,  because some exchanges already have such features in place to detect mixed coins,  and detect bitcoins,  this way every inflow from mixers may result in account limitation and investigations,  which sometimes is part of the anti-money laundering rules that comes with the license.

So we all have nothing to worry about when it comes to money laundering control in casino, The gambling system is more secure and it have a wager mechanism that puts every deposit at risk.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 04, 2023, 05:15:07 PM
Well you are still the winner you won something from the game and also the money you loaned your friend must have come it very useful for him, great game, especially the Sevilla match, I think the final score of the match was a draw.
Well I do not regret the amount I put in placing a bet because I could have also easily lost the money if the game has not come through. Also way the positive and negative and be grateful for what you have made from the game.
You are very correct and I completely agree with you, we should always be grateful and happy wit our winning amount no matter how small it is, because just as you have said, and I also said in my previous comment, it's very possible to have betted with more money for a bigger winning, and end up losing the money, this is something that have happened to several of us who are into sports betting.

I can't actually count the number of times I initially wanted to bet $1, and then thought I should increase it, and ended up increasing to $5 or more, and at the end of the game, I ended up losing the money, I then turn back and begin to wish I had betted only the $1 I initially wanted to bet, this happens, and this is why I agree that op should be happy with the amount he has won, regardless of the fact that he could5  have won more if he had betted more.
Some time what make us to feel as if we have not won any thing substantial from our bets is because of the amount of our previous loses,  this have affected the overall well-being of most gamblers because some time I have experience this scenario where I won my first bets and even coming out with a 3.5 winning odds,  but later on still lost everything trying to make out some more.

This is the situation that have often times affected the gamblers well being at some point and in some cases we ought to realize that,  at a certain point in time,  we have to take a step back and reflect on our winning records vs losses and know what to celebrate or learn lessons from.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 04, 2023, 05:04:51 PM
Where they really prepared their heart for more loose? If yes then you won't be that angry whenever someone out there experience lost in gambling because let assumed they knew the game while they are gambling. Whomever that bears that in mind won't always chase after their lost rather will strive more to secure a winning for himself with all technicalities, I think some people are becoming to used with their lost and they are always optimistic about their results that possibly a day to come they will make back all their lost.
If you stake an amount that you can afford to comfortably lose, you won't have any problem as long as gambling is concerned,  where the problems lies is when a gambler tries to stake high amount with the intention of winning a big reward and also placing his financial desires on the bets.

This way greed becomes the major factor that drives the gambler's decisions and also a lot of other factors that can negatively impact the outcome of the games,  such as chasing a particular directions e.g chasing loses,  by trying to recover from lost.

Or making more bets just to chase winnings this time you get to overstress your luck by trying to win more and more.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 04, 2023, 04:55:27 PM
What are you take in all of this situation.
When celebrity i endorses investment opportunities, including crypto asset securities, investors should carefully research whether the investment is right for them, and they should know why the celebrity is providing that endorsement.
Very correct,  because most of these celebrities are just influencers, and most of them don't even own the coins in they allow the face to be used to deceive gullible investors who may have failed to carry out more research about the coin/NFTs the hype in the market has dragged along of celebrities into a state of a mess because of the involvements in some few failed projects.

I wonder what the investors were thinking,  because as an experienced investor,  I understand the market and how it may react to things,  so any project that promises and outright profits is definitely a scam and most don't even have a users are,  just like in the case of this CR7 lawsuit and his involvement with the failed NFTs project.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 04, 2023, 04:17:12 PM

If you compare it with last season, it might be a little less good compared to this season. This season, many teams have returned to their respective top performances so that competition in the Premier League is getting tighter, and last season they (Manchester City) had the most genius figure in midfield, namely Kevin De Bruyne, it was proven by how he made so many passes and in finished well by their attackers, so there is a lot of hope that in every match they will win.

So what about this season? It is clear that in the last few matches, they have not achieved maximum standings points, so the victory they usually get has been postponed.
Manchester City performance in this season can't be compared to the last season this is because a lot of things have changed in the rankings for Manchester City both in the premier league and at the championship, unlike in the last two seasons where Manchester city was topping the leagues.

Although we are just resuming back from the international break and in the coming weeks in their matches let's hope that Man City will make new better positive records that will set things straight for them in the coming days of the season and if not then we may have to be prepared for more worst performance from man city and we can take it that,  they have already lost out in their position for the year 2023-2024 premier leagues ranking.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 04, 2023, 03:38:32 PM
If we take gambling outside what it should be, then we may run into problems, gambilng should be for fun and not a money-making venture, and any gambler who has such a mentality on gambling will only lose too quickly in the long run since you have to understand that, the more you play, the higher your chances of losing more.

So continuing in whatever direction may lead to losses and much more than that it consumes alot of money and time which will ultimately affect the gambler's mindset in the long run which could result in a possible case of gambling addiction.
1378  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 04, 2023, 03:25:24 PM

Gambling is dangerous, and I would advise anyone close to me to stay far from it because it's results are not friendly as pressumed. Gambling have dealt with me, I've complain and also worked on myself to become the better version. Gambling and recording streak losses have also become one of the discouraging records for me, though I never stop but keep placing wagering on games for better results. Addiction is the top challenge everyone faces this season but we just have to apply disciplinary measures if we care to survive for long in the system.
The scary fact is that gambling can ruin your life and at that, one needs to be very careful when it comes to gambling and the extent to which it affects our life most importantly affecting us in the most negative ways such in areas that.

1: the ability of gambling to make you become addicted and lead to financial loss and that is why we are always advising our friends and family against taking gambling as a means of making earns needs or trying to get rich fast through gambling.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 04, 2023, 03:17:07 PM
Well at some point we have to put everything under check and in most cases also we have to make attempts at what exactly we want as a new year lifestyle and how we intend to moderate our lifestyles and way of doing things, and if one discovers that gambling is one of those areas that we need to moderate and have a resolution on and how we intend to achieve that, most times, alot of forks tend to battle with what we know as gambling addictions and they are making efforts to recover from them, but then too we have to know the level at which gambling addiction could be handled with new year resolution and how we intend to achieve such level of freedom through new year's resolution.

Many times, we have made attempt to change alot of things around our lives using the year-ending cycle and the beginning of another year as the point of change, but much more also we have to know that change is within and at much even if the individual decides to make gambling as part of their new year resolution, it still will fall down to one thing that is the willingness of the person to truly changes that situation along the way.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 04, 2023, 03:01:45 PM

This will be a difficult match for Manchester United because they will face Bayern Munich, but there is no other choice for Erik Ten Hag but to mobilize his best squad to play optimally and win this important match.
Even though it is impossible, nothing is impossible if Erik Ten Hag can formulate the best strategy and can also place the right players, with the best tactics and also prayers to beat Bayern Munich.
And I'm not saying Manchester United don't perform well, they are just inconsistent with match results but sometimes surprising.
Manchester United will indeed have a hard time innthe match because of the position of their opponent on the group table, Bayern Munich is topping the chat on the group stage level, and for such much of the pressure is on them to deliver on-time results so for sure, Bayern will be aiming to top the group even in the next stage so allowing Manchester United to have any chance, will result in them losing their position possibly and at some point there may be pressure from the man u squad but the truth is that it won't be an impossible mission for Manchester United to win the match but then it must have to do with alot of luck on their side.
