After populating the new double power suply design of HEX 16 in Friday, We started testing and the board is working @450 MHz .
As far the PCB design is now tested and any changes would be only software ( firmware) We are going to place bare PCB order in Friday.
Do you mean 4500 MHz? At what time on friday? The PCB order will be submitted until Friday 14:00 EET (+2) in order to be in production since next monday You haven`t read the whole shit from Yifu yet? I don`t think that chips will come finally - please look that you can get a refund ASAP! As ASICMiner Blades 10GH cost now 3.5BTC all your/our hardware got burned overnight. As far @ least 3 GB in EUROPE were made with escrow from John K , I think you have to coordinate actions with him too.
He have made orders for at least 6 Groups.
My GB delivery is 2 days late for now , so I do not have grounds to take any actions @ the moment

Има тук във форума колега от швеция , който прави авалон клонинги, ще ти е по евтино с него да се свържеш според мен стромбом нали ? говорих се него вече, не емного ентусиазиран, иска аз сам да си сваля чиповете ... какъвто съм майстор ... Кажи си цената, ясно е че ще трябва да платя отгоре. Най-рано след 15-ти ще мога , за цената махането ще ти струва около 5 лв на чип Поздрави |

Already did that, didnt receive any answer. on the other hand, I saw Burnin making plans to make bitfury board. I am not feeling comfortable with that. You need to understand that Burnin is just the middle man. He can't control when he'll receive the Avalon chips and he stated this clearly. When you purchased your Avalon chips you accepted this risk. My order was delayed over 60 days. While this sucks, I don't blame burnin at all as he didn't have anything to do with this. You paid him to have components ready to assemble the boards once those Avalon chips came in. It's not like he can just go down the street and return these components as the pcb boards were probably already made up and electronic components are sold on reels typically which would have been purchased. As far as Bitfury chips go, why shouldn't he get involved. He has a company that needs to make money. Both chip manufacturers are separate and he has no vested interest in either one besides selling fully assembled boards and turning a profit. +1 |

Interesting news. Im not sure if i already got the answer so i have some questions. Sorry if i asked already.
What will be the lead time from the point you get the chips and you ship the ready made miner out?
Is overvolting and change of MHz possible through software?
Can they be chained or do all need their own usb cable?
The first batch PCB will be here in 2.5 weeks. All the components are reserved or delivered. For up to 1000 boards We'll need a week to populate and test. Both overvolting and MHz change are through software. The board have CAN chaining , so just a jumper on the first and last board to close the current circle |

After populating the new double power suply design of HEX 16 in Friday, We started testing and the board is working @450 MHz .
@ the moment We are to make 72 hour burnin test. A few minor adjustments had to be made :
-New buffering algorithm in the PIC
-A few electrolyte capacitors added
We are working on CGMiner drivers for HEX16A @ the moment .
Also We are making new sample heat sinks for HEX16 in order to provide enough cooling for OC-ed boards
As far the PCB design is now tested and any changes would be only software ( firmware) We are going to place bare PCB order in Friday.
Until the moment We have paid orders for about 500 boards @ the moment and received 2500 customer chips, that have to be populated soon.
If you have placed order and did not paid it yet , please do it until Friday if you want to get in the first batch PCB's
Again this is for HEX16 design only. The K16 design is not tested in full yet so these orders are on hold for now.
DO HAVE IN MIND THAT DELIVERY OF THE AVALON QFN48 CHIPS IS UP TO AVALON!!
But in any case these chips get here we have to be prepared to populate boards ASAP

hi, I saw that marto from bulgaria has another 16 chip design, the advantage is that you can overclock easy by rising the voltage.
-will you collaborate with him to produce the same type of design, HEX16?

Hmm.. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think raising the core voltage of the chip will have a negative effect in the longer term. The correct procedure would be to undervolt/overclock the chips until you reach a good ratio between speed/stability/operating temperature. Here the main problem to be avoided is to reduce Apms(i.e. Current, lees ams per wire) giving the Avalon chip more power ( W) . So you do add more voltage in order to reduce current and to allow The Avalon to drain more power in high frequency . The heat just have to be removed  Martin |

I suppose, you got an order number. If you have any, you can buy UPS Express Shipping and in the notes you have to write your order number. I upgraded to express shipping but now my calculations show that in the worst case scenario, standard shipping will add 4 days delay which is about 1BTC and express shipping costs about 1.6 BTC (incl. VAT).
EDIT: My order is for the starter kit. For the full kit, UPS Express Shipping upgrade will be nice, because 4 days will be about 16 BTC at current dificulty.
