So. Im invest two days for wallet update... I do my best - still need download 13 000 blocks info...
Damn..
No pools, no good wallet but coin hase own market...
Any game here about we dont know? Really dont understand situation about this coin.

Yesterday I tested sync from scratch, it went fine and took half an hour on a modest pc.
If you used the snapshot, you'd need much less blocks than 13000, something like 2000.

Hey Pallas, about your miner:
I'm currently trying to import it into my eclipse cdt installation (Win7x64). (I'd like to get into CUDA and also see whether I can maybe build a more optimised version for my PC)

Are you developing with eclipse, too? I'm struggling with importing it as an existing makefile project. I have mingw64 installed and can compile&run hello world successfully, it's now only about understanding how to import the project correctly. I'd rather not use VisualStudio as I really like eclipse a lot. Also the .sln file seems broken?
Could you give me a hint maybe? Right now, after creating a new makefileproject with existing source code in that folder, whenever I click build, eclipse shows a nullpointer exception error (odd).

Do I have to regenerate the makefile first? If so, how would I do that on windows?
Thanks!

No, I don't use IDEs, just a text editor.
About the "project" files, I just edit the autoconf files, in this case Makefile.am.
It's the most portable and standard way.
Then ./autogen.sh, ./configure, make

I'd mine and support this coin, but unfortunately there is nowhere to trade it.  Bter is a scam site IMO and you will never see any withdrawals from there, as no way in hell im uploading my passport to these fuckers.

Use btc38, novaexchange or bx.

pallas if you can fix this

Check here for pre-compiled cuda miner binaries for Win64:
dropbox.com/sh/56lnq52g4gny0m0/AADMJa2QTMSSc4g9gx1BfWIla

not working, it's missed

I don't have that any longer, and it was slower than djm34 current binary anyways.

oh ok, what about this version, seems to be open public https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1801595.1460, i posted in the other thread

24 Mh/s for two cards isn't very fast ;-)

so sp, apparently there is a miner of djm34 that do 24Mh with a 1070 on xcn, can you compile it please? this coin is very profitable with that miner

where is it? github?

Why was there such a big dump?

Look at the right column on btc38: all the altcoins are down, compare to CNY.

solo mining is just like with other coins, no difference.

Exchange?
There will be one if you are willing to pay the listing fee

It only takes 2 or 3 btc for bail into bittrex, if you interest.

No, it's free, but they must like your coin or you will just waste your time.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: July 06, 2017, 09:07:39 PM
Is the version of this miner compatible with XCN (cryptonite)?

No. See the coin topic for this kind of information.

"cannot fast forward" is not an error. It's normal. Just let it run.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: July 06, 2017, 04:19:12 PM
More than happy if you make it as 2% fee version instead of one time payment. This you hv more long time recurring vs private basis. Any consideration?

Difficult to make a fee miner when you don't have pools.

Use getblocktemplate: much better than pool hopping, both for the miner and yourself.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 06, 2017, 02:46:13 PM
Hi pallas,
Why you dont make pool for this coin?
suprnova pool dosnt work...agane and agane...
If making pool so easy - why you dont build it?

Im miner. If profitable coin exist and no pool - something strange in the air.
If it easy to make it - just make it. Or support somebody who can do it.
Give me worked pool - and I mine it and support your coin.

It's not easy and I've been supporting the making of new pools at least four times, recently. There is even a bounty for it. I don't have the time to do it myself.

Pallas. What polo says about their wallet? Can`t fix or something else?

Polo fixed their wallet for withdrawals months ago.
Then it broke again and they stopped replying to my nor anyone's enquiries.
There are 4 working exchanges, there is no reason they can't fix it.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 06, 2017, 07:39:09 AM
There is a memory leak in cryptonited daemon, running during solo mining - 0.5GB over 8 hours

Thanks for reporting, I will monitor it over the next hours/days.

24h - 2.7g ram
Code:
19919 krnl      20   0 5188628 2.734g  17676 S   7.3 17.6  29:31.65 cryptonited

Maybe supprnova pool lagging caused by this issue

I tested my setup with solo mining for 1 day: memory usage of the wallet barely changed, now a little less than 1gb.
Maybe it's an issue with your OS or libraries.

New github commit: "Enable orphans on rpc calls."
Useful for solo mining and pool operators.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 05, 2017, 01:32:48 PM
To solo I can connect only 4 PCs. Where is the limitation and how it sloves?

just look 3 posts before yours ;-)
Thanks. Finally, I had a lot of unconfirmed blocks. What should I write for "Application" in my adsl-modem to open 8253 port - cryptonite-qt, ccminer or sth else?

I don't think that matters. When you set the right external and internal port, + the internal IP, you are ready to go.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 05, 2017, 01:31:49 PM
so i see there are better version that mine with more hash can someone compile for windows, because mine do only 16MH, but other do 24MH? can you post it in your first post pallas? not everyone can compile, and in the first post only lead me to github with no exe

I'm sorry I don't have a windows environment to do the compile.
Some of us have such an environment and would take little time to compile my miner, while it would take days to me.

Just an update...
Ok, finally got a working Litecoin MPOS with NOMP pool running on a server. Quite the pain, with old documentation and lack of helpful replies...
So, if anyone wants a document of an updated "How to" for a Litecoin pool, I can provide that.

Now... going through the bugs with the XCN Pool, one at a time...

Yes please, post your howto.
I'm sorry you didn't get helpful replies, but I'm here (and on slack) to help everybody.
