it is a myth that friends and family payments cant be charged back
ANY paypal transaction can be chargeback
maybe , you're right , but once I faced a problem with personal payment . even I called to PayPal support , but they said to me , we can't help you in personal payment , it can't be refunded . that is why I write this above . Simple. You call and tell PayPal it was an unauthorized transaction or someone hacked into your PayPal account... they will reverse it. Just tell them it wasn't you who made the payment. Or call your bank and file a transaction dispute. You can charge it back. Options I can suggest: 1. Withdraw your PayPal funds to your bank account and take that money out of the account and pay for the bitcoins with a non-reversible or less risky payment method. or 2. Use escrow here with your PayPal payment. The bitcoins are held by a trusted escrow and you send the PayPal funds to whoever wants to sell you some coins. You then wait 180 days until the funds can no longer be chargebacked and then escrow releases the bitcoins to you. (I imagine you don't want this option) or 3. Find someone willing to take the risk. Or use exchanges which accept PayPal.

Newbies should not have permission to create a thread on this section.
Not everybody is a scammer and you have to start somewhere you know? But I agree... people should proceed with caution I agree on that. When I was a newbie I came here only to buy BTC with Skrill and sell it for Paypal. That caused multiple problems with people thinking I was a simple scammers, whilst I've now proven to be legit. Newbies should just be allowed to make threads and people should just avoid trading with them if they don't trust the newbies. I think that all these people yawning about newbies should just get off the site. It's getting annoying. Regards, Trump Nice cloaked way of self-advertising... "whilst now I've proven to be legit" It's getting annoying to have all these people "yawning" about newbies? Why is it annoying? Because it disturbs their scamming schemes? Because it prevents some of the scamming newbies here from stealing a day's wage worth of money so they can fill their bellies with food paid for with stolen funds? Food to give them energy and calories so they can continue to thrive another wretched day on this planet and defraud other people? That's annoying? Honest traders here have a legitimate and valid reason to be cautious when dealing with newbies. Historically, this forum has attracted scammers in droves so a stranger-danger approach is not uncalled for.

I had this same issue a few weeks ago, was annoying as hell They held my btc (4.3) over 2 months.. Luckily btc raised a lot from when I had hha Add me on skype and I'll try to help, can't guarantee anything.. skype : cord_on_weed
Why help on Skype? Why not help here on this forum where everything is transparent and open? Oh I know.. because on Skype you can privately rape someone financially, right? Manipulate the conversation to tempt or lure some desperate someone out there to pay you a service fee for "help" in unlocking their BTC-E funds. Righto. Got it. PS.. someone on weed will say anything, promise anything even, do anything... all for that next high.

hi, thx for your answer. i received 4 or 5 messages from members, most of them had bad or no reviews. i'm waiting if someone is intersted. with hipay you can securely transfer your money to your bank account, and i got no bank account i can do transfer step by step serious members can contact me by pm here is there website: http://www.hipaywallet.com/Simply and plainly no. This sounds and stinks like a scam. Why do you have hipay if you do not have a bank account? I suspect those hipay funds are from MITM or Craigslist scams.

Nobody will pay 1000 Euros for a card, anonymous or not. Plus there is a high risk of you knowing the access credentials for these cards and later accessing the funds.
Nobody will buy this, you nitwit. Stop scamming.

Hey, I'm a 22 yr old dev/hacker something or another. I've been doing this since I was 6 years old. I have stumbled upon a gold mine and I need someone to help me achieve it.
I'll be up front, I need a 5k loan, and my methods are extremely black hat. On the other side, I have 3.5 million $ in assets, I need your help flipping it. I need a mentor here. I know this sounds like bullshit. It's not. If you have 5k to invest, and you'd like to turn it into several tens of thousands, please entertain me for just one moment, and let me show you how I'd like to net a million in the next 6 months, and have absolutely no qualms proving I can do it.
If you're interested, post here or message me, some way to get ahold of you.
You claim to have 3.5 million $ in assets and yet you need a 5k loan. Yes, this sounds and stinks like bullshit.

These scammers are becoming smarter. To avoid being red-tagged, they ask a general question along the lines of "can someone advise me" etc etc.
In reality, it's to tempt or lure people (the naive and gullible ones who see 2 MILLION DOLLARS) to bite the bait.

If you know anyone or persons owning at least 500k Bitcoin up to 10 million looking to sell let me know.
Hedge fund looking to buy after seeing the price go up from 700 to over 2500 recently.
Explain how you intend to pay. (I'm not selling but I'm just itching to red-tag suspicious posts) Explain after carefully thinking about it.

Fraud is fraud I would assume a lot of sites can be funded via stolen info. This seems to hard to get a trustworthy trader though, withdrawing funds now. Thank you for the insight.
You sound like a scammer. Talking all this garbage with a tone like you're appealing to people here to take your Venmo. It's like rhetorical talking... "this seems so hard to get a trustworthy trader" bla bla.. It's you who needs to offer a trustworthy payment method! Venmo and bitcoins are not compatible. There are safer methods but the way you write is as if you are defending Venmo (fraud is fraud i would assume a lot of sites can be funded via stolen info). You know it is REVERSIBLE and I bet you have intentions to reverse the payment after getting the bitcoins! People, just don't do it. Don't accept Venmo from this guy. You WILL lose your bitcoins.

Credit Card CAL
You mean "phished" credit card? I see. Understand totally. Fully. Got it. And if not phished, what was that you were hoping to do? Reverse or dispute the PayPal or credit card payment? Got that too. Totally understood. Try this: https://www.buysomebitcoins.com/But of course I doubt you will use that site. You don't want to provide ID's of course. Got that too.

I am pleased to announce that I'm starting a new OTC exchange project for blocked-on-exchanges currencies all over the world. This is a P2P centralized space where holders of different blocked-on-exchange currencies come together to trade for USD or against each other.
My inspiration comes from hearing about the banned currencies based on cryptonote protocol, which were deemed to be untradable by several leading exchange platforms. I came up with the idea to create a OTC lifeline for these blocked-on-exchange currencies. And now I invite everyone who needs to change and transfer their blocked-on-exchange coin to try my service! Guarantee: I will act as the sole middleman holding all incoming deals, which will be verified from the both sides via email and skype. The transaction is 100% secure and does not require an ID. If you don't feel comfortable exchanging through me, we can use any other trustworthy party from trusted bitcointalk member who will take part in the entire process. Terms of Exchange: Minimum transaction amount - $500 Fee: 1% from the deal
Are the PayPal scams here not working? Nice new scam you have here. A newbie acting as the SOLE middleman... email and Skype... no ID (think about it, why would one need to provide that when he acts as middleman). Of course, nobody will feel comfortable exchanging through you. And yes, you do have to use a trusted escrow provider on this forum and do the transaction on this platform. But somehow I have a feeling that this is meant to inspire misplaced trust by making gullible and naive people think this is a legit service. A sub-scam within an already elaborate scam. The human mind is truly amazing. It can conjure endless scams and schemes.

Escrow fully secured @ paxful i use my personal paypal, verified since 2013, i have balance not use credit card payment. No chargeback, send as friends/family. No ID required Instant release , no question asked. Trusted Buyer / Seller - over 2 trade( +1 Bitcointalk , +1 on Paxful ) https://paxful.com/offer/AVPebxrxkm6So? Why did you highlight the above line in red? It's nothing special. There were people here with 10, 20 or more green trusts who scammed for a day's wage. Escrow fully secured? How does that offer security when you can reverse the PayPal transaction after the Paxful trade? No ID required? And paying with PayPal? You, sir, are a criminal.

Hello, i am willing to purchase 15 BTC via PayPal. I will pay with masspayment option - after last PayPal update sender cannot reverse the payment. It's payment method used for B2B trades, so seller is fully safe.
We can do it in small batches - eg. 5 x 3 BTC. It's up to you.
Looking for someone trusted with long history on this forum.
Regards.
Challenge: if you are not a scammer (and I will assume you are unless factually proven otherwise) withdraw your PayPal funds to your bank account, take it out from your account in cash and pay for the bitcoins using a less reversible method.
|
|
|
If you value your bitcoins, just don't do it. Period. Do not accept this scammer's PayPal payment. You will live to regret it. 15 BTC? That loss will hurt badly.
|
|
|
Then withdraw the money from your BOA account and pay using a less reversible method.
|
|
|
Who will act as escrow?
Don't expect people to simply send the bitcoins upfront.
