Any update on the Rubies / v2 implementation? Almost 2/3rds through November at this point, haven't heard anything recently.
Will they make an update on rubies? I never know that though because last time what they reallt said about is they always but rubies on 1k satoshi and always like that so I never know if they still go for it for not since rubies movement already been slowed down. I saw it from c-cex exchanger and there is nothing about rubies though, max volume is around 0.01-0.02 onlyå I've been waiting a long time for one, as well. I bought into the RBIES hype several months ago and picked some up for 10,000+ sat each... I'm REALLY hoping that there's something great in the RBIES pipeline... Since they've announced that they'll be bottoming at 1k sat, they've done a good job with keeping the floor at 1,000sat+, so I'll give them that... Just waiting to see RBIES integrated into MP... That will be great!

150 Satoshi (Bitcoin) was sent to your ePay.info account All is well, just made my first claim on your site. Good faucet, but holy hell, talk about ad central lol. Just an FYI, when I first logged into your faucet, and did the first anti-bot link, it refreshed the page and I had to submit my epay account again. Just letting you know in case you didn't know it was happening. If it happens again, I will let you know here. Cheers!

This should explain simply what happens in the event that a user makes a claim and they don't have an account Faucet Users - You do NOT get the coins in a "reserved" account, you will have to make an account and do the claim/withdraw again - You get an error telling you to register and to claim again after you have done Faucet Owners - Coins stay in your balance and the API request is returned as a "failed payout" with status 456 - As long as your script is handling the API returns properly (200 is a successful payout, anything else is not, just like faucetbox) you won't have any problems dealing with the error message - The PHP library I made has a return object added for this situation which provides both a text message and a html message - Users only need to make an account on FaucetHub when they want to withdraw their balances off your sites, which depends on the type of faucet you run, e.g. a direct to microwallet claim (faucetbox script) or a separate accumulation of balance and then a single withdraw (FG, my other sites etc.) It's important to note that this is really a non-issue, as once the user has an account on FaucetHub they can claim like normal, from ANY faucet/website
In other words, this is going to operate in a very similar fashion to the way that epay and xapo and paytoshi operate now. Simple process, and once you have connected/registered your account, you'll be good to go with any other faucet that operates the FaucetHub API/script. This won't eliminate the problem with bot accounts, but it will make it difficult for bot accounts to effectively milk a faucet dry. I feel like the only people that will complain about this type of registration are those that have something to hide I'm all about my privacy on the internet, and I have absolutely no problems with creating a new gmail account (if I don't want to use my personal email account) for the sole purpose of registering a faucethub account. Good shit, mex; can't wait for the new system! mikey, hope this answers your question!

To all other users, we are apologize for your trouble and our inability to respond one by one. We changed our captcha solution to add more earning, but it seems that it is not stable. Not to mention that it is prone to bots, we do our best to keep the faucet running, but it costs us a good amount.
To those with negative comments : please understand that we are not trying to make it difficult for real people, they are our main revenue streams and we would like them to come back. But we do have difficulty to separate real people and bots, if you have a silver bullet please drop us a message.
Currently we are planning put our service down for a moment while fixing the bug and to find more revenue streams. Please be patient.
Ah damn. Rest in Peace, FaucetGo.com. I have very rarely seen faucets survive this kind of "maintenance" done by admins. And if they do, it's been because they had to slash their rewards by at least half... Sustainability and transparency is the major name of the game for faucets, and you're lacking both. You need to be more communicative with your users; whether it's by posting here more frequently, especially when you make changes like the captcha thing. Or at least make an announcement banner on your website indicating that you're doing some form of maintenance. Just give us updates; it's not that hard to do, and it will save you a lot of face.

Anyone that has the following "loading captcha" error, try toggling the "enable popup..." checkbox off, then on, then off again. That's how I'm able to get my captcha to show up now.

Thanks for the feedback regarding timely payments. However, now I cannot make a claim because of this error: It's been "loading captcha" for quite some time now. I tried logging out and logging back in. Clearing browser cache. Any updates? Having the exact same issue I just kept refreshing and toggling the "enable pop up" checkbox, and I was finally able to make a claim. Give that a shot!

Any Members, Full Members, or Sr. Members that have gotten paid recently for this site? Is it worth my while to start claiming and referring?
Site looks clean as hell; it's definitely well designed.
Cheers.

I'm curious to know if this is a regular premium account or a library account as well. If it's a regular premium account, I'm down to purchase this. Can you let me know please? Thanks!

For the record, as an honest faucet user and referrer, I don't mind having to sign up for a site or service, as long as I don't have to disclose any personal information other than my email address and btc address. Especially if this means that I can rest assured knowing that I can safely visit sites and make claims knowing that it is less susceptible to bot attacks. From what I've read about this new microwallet and faucetscript on faucethub, I feel like it alone will revolutionize the way that faucets work. Why? Let's think about why most faucets are not sustainable: There are mainly two reasons: 1. Bot/script attacks. Security has never been a major target for faucet script providers, other than the typical IP checks/blocks, but by the time the faucet admin has realized they've been or are being attacked, they've lost the majority of the balance that they've deposited into the faucet's bankroll. That means that honest users like myself are affected along with the faucet admin. 2. Ad networks banning the site. This is mainly due to the first reason. If your website is running ads from a big network like Google AdSense, it's their (Google's) duty to ensure that they are displaying ads on a legitimate website with great traffic visitors. If the site is overloaded with bots and traffic exchange visitors, that reflects very poorly on your analytics, hence raising flags at the ad networks to check your website. If there was a way to block bad traffic (which I'm sure mex is implementing in this new faucet system/script), then it's going to be an overall better advertising experience for the advertisers and the faucet owners. The greatest thing about mexicantarget, in my personal opinion, is that he has a lot of experience working with faucets, which is experience that will pour over into the development of the faucethub environment. Believe me when I say that this is mainly the reason why I am so excited to see the new round of bitcoin faucets that will arise from this... Let's call it The Faucet Experience v2.0 lol. I can't wait, but definitely will as I'm sure it will be well worth the wait. But damnit mex, hurry up and clone yourself

There's a vulnerability in your handling of IP addresses. The Ip::get() looks like this: foreach (array('HTTP_CLIENT_IP', 'HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR', 'HTTP_X_FORWARDED', 'HTTP_X_REAL_IP', 'HTTP_X_CLUSTER_CLIENT_IP', 'HTTP_FORWARDED_FOR', 'HTTP_FORWARDED', 'REMOTE_ADDR') as $key){ if (array_key_exists($key, $_SERVER) === true){ foreach (explode(',', $_SERVER[$key]) as $ip){ $ip = trim($ip); // just to be safe if (filter_var($ip, FILTER_VALIDATE_IP, FILTER_FLAG_NO_PRIV_RANGE | FILTER_FLAG_NO_RES_RANGE) !== false){ if($_SERVER['SERVER_ADDR']<>$ip){ return $ip; } } } } } return '127.0.0.1';
You're blindly trusting headers sent by user. So I can for example do: curl --header "Client-IP: 8.8.8.8" http://somefaucet/ ...
And your script will think that the request came from IP address 8.8.8.8. Repeat that with changing the IP address and I can bypass your antibot system and your timer. Please please please buy a professional audit of all your code. If I can find such big issues in 5 minutes, people that really want to steal something will find many more.
Please please please report security stuff in PRIVATE msg to dev please.. I don't think posting this here is a good idea.. It's not a bad idea, as long as the security flaw gets fixed. I, for one, love the transparency that Kaz is providing. It's rare to get support from such an expert, especially for free. For now, it just means that the transparency shows that there are security flaws with FaucetSystem. Good to know so early on.
