1381  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 2 weeks 14 activity on: August 16, 2017, 05:28:52 AM

1382  Local / Pamilihan / Re: About Gambling on: August 07, 2017, 03:28:35 AM

1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: August 04, 2017, 05:32:25 AM
Actually it's true..

I found BitCoin when I was in college.. had no job at all..

So the unemployment drove me to HYIP and BitCoin.  Wink

And, you said "I explained them how to earn BTC"
Mind sharing with us too how you are earning them?
Along with the development of the Crptocurrency world now there is no longer any boundary between countries in receiving payments. Opportunity to receive part time job online from various parts of the world wide open.

I do not think that unemployment drives people bitcoin but rather the interest to earn from all bitcoin activities is the one that drives us to bitcoin.  There are lots of people that have their main job to flocks in and participate in bitcoin activity to add earning from their regular jobs.  Others just wanted to invest and they saw bitcoin as one that have the biggest potential for profit.
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 04, 2017, 04:26:09 AM
It depends on what venture are you going to enter.  If you are just buying and holding Bitcoin for a long term, with the current trend of Bitcoin, the risk is somehow unknown since bitcoin price keep on fluctuating wildly but most believe that when the market is saturated, our bitcoin investment today will have a lot more value in the future.
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 21, 2017, 05:32:15 PM
I'm not sure about that. Well, that can solve the poverty of a country is only the government of the country. Although they use bitcoin with that purpose, I think it's still so difficult, because if it is not accompanied by a mature strategy, I think bitcoin is not able to solve the problem.

It is not the government (they can help) but the only person that can solve poverty is themseves.  I believe Bitcoin can help in giving jobless a job and earn their living, but it is the person that have to act and solve their  own poverty.  Government cannot solve it no matter how hard it try to if the person is not helping himself to get out of poverty.
1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: July 21, 2017, 05:26:09 PM
4000$ price will be so very hard for bitcoin to reach this year, but 3000$+ price has a big chance to come out next month. For what i know segwit2x prevented the incoming chain split.

Let us see and wait, we are still in the mid year and lots of things will sure happen.  We had witnessed how price swings wildly from a dump to a possible bubble.  So I do not think that $4000 will be very hard of bitcoin.  Please think that bitcoin is on its way to solve its scaling issue. There are lots of people and miners wanting to solve this issue thus the success lock for Bip 91.  Let us wait how the market react on Aug. 1 though I believe it is really a bullish bitcoin with this updates.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 21, 2017, 05:15:59 PM
Congrats to the successfull ICO, I hope this is the start of something big. Don't let investors down, coz we believe in this new age.

This is really great Cheesy Congratulation for a successful ICO. Great job GGS!
1388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc value rising why? on: July 21, 2017, 05:03:33 PM
With the instability of the SegWit happening with which kind of fork, we saw bitcoins value drop a bit down 2k. As we are approaching the day of SegWit, I was expecting that the btc could indeed decrease a bit of his value, but it is increasing( that's great ). But why is it increasing ? people started to trust btc even after SegWit ?

I believe it was the announcement of some major exchange to not accept any bitcoin fork coin thus limiting people choice to accept the current update.  This shows how miners signal bip 91 and price of bitcoin goes up.  And now that we are in a lockdown for the upcoming update, I believe bitcoin will continue to increase in price.
1389  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 21, 2017, 04:48:06 PM
With the current event in bitcoin I think Bitcoin is read to last for a very long time.  They have a great support because of the reason such as being the first mover to decentralized blockchain and being the most popular cryptocurrency.  It will take a lot of time for other cryptocurrency to overtake Bitcoin and with that, Bitcoin will continue to be the leading cryptocurrency.
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: August 1, Bitcoin will Ends? on: July 21, 2017, 07:28:01 AM

Actually , i don't know what happen in August 1. Bitcoin  is a very popular site and also be trustred. A huge number of people are connected to this site. So, its impossible to end.

My opinion is that, don't worry everything is going to be fine.

First, Bitcoin is not a site, it is a digital currency, though today it seems that bitcoin FUD had stopped.  This bitcoin will die scheme had been roaming the internet for almost a decade now.  There are several prediction that bitcoin will die but instead bitcoin keep going strong.  But before today, FUD had been successful in pulling bitcoin price down.  Lucky some announcement of Big exchanges shifted the momentum.
1391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees - I Think We All Been Scammed on: July 19, 2017, 03:02:48 PM
A few months ago there was this bit craze about fees and how fees was outrageous. People were chasing fees just to send the smallest of bitcoins. Then several threads start appearing about using other currencies like LTC, ETH, DOGE, etc. I've noticed for the last 2 weeks I have been able to send btc with only a .07 cent fee tied to it and they were getting confirmed in only a few blocks. Whereas If i tried this mess a few months ago it would sit for hrs if not days. I think those behind the scene were scamming us and controlling the flow of inputs just to fu^k us over!

Some would say that people just got tired of trying to transfer value through bitcoins and have just shifted to alts. Others would say it was a spam attack to force a scaling solution. In any case, we benefit now from lower fees.

Probably majority of bitcoin users shigted to altcoin (ETH and LTC) to process their transaction.  This somehow lessen the congestion of Bitcoin network thus the fee started to get lower.  It is just a matter of supply and demand, way back there was more demand but now I think there is less people who are transacting with Bitcoin.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: July 14, 2017, 06:52:30 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

No way but I have heard many stories that many addicted gamblers do that when they are so desperate for money. This is a bad logic. How could a new problem solve another problem? It means it is really just an addiction and they will find a way to gamble again.

Money desperate need cannot be a reasons to make as an excuse of being desperately need for money. In my own opinion about it was just a denial to a certain level of diversion so that it won't affect their reputation that they are addicted to it. How hipocrite are those gamblers and as I can see they are not honest to themselves of what they actually are. So to make it as no excuses, they should work for money so they earn for and don't expect lucky winnings from gambling because they all prone to lose it all in the future.
No i think some people really prefer to choose to gamble when they need money urgently.
As they have achieve it previously that you can make money in a couple of seconds only!
But when you lost , mostly you feel cannot believe it is happened as you expect to keep winning it which it is wrong.

I think lazy people are the one who prefer gambling when they need money urgently.  Aside from that rational people will never bet or spend their money on a thing that will make them lose it.  Since they need the money urgently I think they will resort to borrowing money from a friend.  Another thing people gamble because they think that it is cool and for social participating purpose.
1393  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: July 14, 2017, 06:00:34 AM
I believe, we should choose bitcoin because it a a great store of value.  Rather than putting our money in bank, Bitcoin like gold at least offer us the possibility of increasing the value of our holdings.  And since Bitcoin market is not yet saturated, there is a huge possibility that our saving will increase in value several times.
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 14, 2017, 05:34:18 AM
what do you think about this topic?

It will help you get rich when you invest a lot of money in it but the risk will be very high, you will easily lose everything. If you participate in signature campaigns, I think the money earned is enough to cover your daily expenses

This is a fallacy!  There is no 100% get rich thing in bitcoin.  There are lots of investors that get burned thinking they will get rich easy in investing Bitcoins.  Though there are fact that some early supporter get rich with Bitcoin but the number that failed to get rich is much larger in number than the successful one.  Aside from investment we should learn and study bitcoin economy to boost the possibility of getting rich with bitcoin.
1395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: July 13, 2017, 06:59:36 PM
I am still confused, whereas my friend's suggestion he said better buy some btc Huh

I will go with your friends suggestion.  Better buy some BTC because there is a huge possiblity that bitcoin price skyrocket after August 1.  There maybe lots of FUD spreading around but the update itself signals bullish bitcoin due to the fact that it is one to help solve the scaling problem of Bitcoin.
1396  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC and other currency on the downfall on: July 11, 2017, 03:54:47 PM
if there is a surge then it will be after August 1 when SegWit activates on bitcoin. and by that time i suppose we have to forget about altcoins for this year because what you saw this day will be even bigger by that date and the dumps will become harder in altcoin market (the money will be coming back to bitcoin when it is sure).

I agree, whales are taking their opportunity to get more Bitcoin in cheaper price before the Aug. 1 since that update will have a great effect in Bitcoin price, even with the split of network.  The dump of altcoin is a clear state that people are cashing out for fiat in preparation for massive buy when the Segwit activation is succesful.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 11, 2017, 02:45:21 PM
For me, Bitcoin means a new opportunity and a way to elevate my standard of living.  Since Bitcoin offers some freelancing job or in a better scenario a long term job for freelancer people,  it enables us to earn extra money aside from our day job that supports our financial capability.  Aside from that, it enables me to do an online transaction without the bank.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: July 10, 2017, 03:49:17 PM
I think, Pioneer88 have great plans about ICOB-w on WAVES... I think he wait August - September ... Waves have any plans on SEptember-October ...

I believe we just need to wait.  I still trust Pioneer88, I know he won't let his supporter down.  There maybe lots of downtime for this coins but at least dev is still around trying to push things up for ICOBID, and even finding more people to help with the development of its project.  I see ICOBID selling at lower price in yobit, I guess it is another time to buy some.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 10, 2017, 02:33:25 PM
There is always an investor that we called the last minute investors.  I believe some of the whales out there are just watching and waiting for the right time to hit that button and invest in this project.  There is still time so most of them are not rushing.  It would be interesting if the token will be sold out on the last day Smiley.
1400  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of Bitcoin in 2020 on: July 07, 2017, 11:55:18 PM
I believe Scenario C or D since there is a block halving, but if this upadate in August is successful, then we can see scenario B,  the price actually depends on the event that will happen between today and the year 2020.  If Bitcoin dev releases a killer app then we can see Bitcoin reaching the price prediction for 2020 in an earlier years.  Or if Bitcoin fail to scale and the Aug. event does not bring any changes in Bitcoin scaling problem then we can see either a cheaper bitcoin or a stagnant one.
