Why primedice not open a place for investment?
I am sure a lot of people will invest on them
Stunna did not feel comfortable with people investing in them and their bankroll is great enough. They probably can't bear the responsibility of investments.
why feel not comfortable? stunna owner of primedice?
yeah their bankroll is great, it looks he often allot money
Yes. I feel that it is more of a confidence issue than anything else. The hufflepuff incident speaks for this issue. Doolgus(Owner of Justdice) opened clams as he wasn't very comfortable handling large sums of money. For primedice, they have quite some downtimes which would just piss of investors. Additionally, they have to find a way to allow the investors to know that they aren't cheating. Nevertheless, I would still trust them.

Dooglus used clams in just dice because of regulations issues, one can't open a bitcoin casino in Canada because of the regulations, but nothing is said about clams.

Did Dooglus say that himself? There is no fundamental difference between bitcoin and clam or any other crypto currencies.
142  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you think the life of a professional gambler is a glamorous one? on: October 29, 2015, 04:02:26 PM
No. You have to work really hard, you have a lot of stress and you have to sit on the computer all day.

Being a professional gambler is great while your making money, you might even like the things I mentioned above but "glamorous" is not a word that describes it.

Exactly. All professionals have to work hard to earn their living. They need to spend a lot of time to learn the skills in their profession. This is a boring process.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 29, 2015, 01:00:07 PM
Gambling earnings are very random for players, many even lose thousands of dollars. Everything in moderation.

Gambling results are random, that is the reason why so many people play it. They think they might win this time, and win big.
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: October 29, 2015, 12:00:56 PM
Well I'm guessing stock exchange has better luck because you can actually predict if prices are going to rise or not. For gambling it's mostly luck. They both are types of gambling though.

The price of stock market is not predictable in very short term. You do not know if the price will rise or drop for a specific share. That is the reason why day trading does not work for most people.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much you have lost in gambling? on: October 29, 2015, 10:15:22 AM

Am still waiting for the day to come when i recover my 5 btc and get in profit 5btc more  Grin

The expression you use indicates you know you will not see the 5 btc again. However, I still want to get back that 5 btc. Good luck.

Yes. Provably fair seeds are essential now a days for any type of gambling sites. Even the hash seeds are biased people will look for the fair play always. This may be the extra protection one can enjoy from online gambling.

I shall play only on a casino with Provably Fair settings.

But how do I know it is actually fair? Is there a way for the operator to cheat?
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 28, 2015, 04:02:41 PM
I don't think any professional skills will make you win in gambling because at the end every one will lose to gambling house.

These professional skills can make you win for a short period. The gambler will lose in long term due to the house edge.
I dont think so, skill very need in gambling for short or long period
like poker you must have good skill and technic to win  Grin

I think they are talking about games with a house edge.  Poker doesn't have a house edge you are playing against other players.  even with great skill in poker you can still lose because of an unlucky hand or bad beat.  There are no games in gambling that don't require luck.

Luckiness is more important in gambling. With some skill, you can win in poker game. For dice, you will not win in long term.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 28, 2015, 02:59:16 PM
If you have one or more of the following, you'll do well in the gambling business.

1) A great looking UI
2) A revolutionary new gambling game
3) A big budget for advertising, sig campaigns, etc
4) Exceptional advertising skills
5) Partners in a big gambling site

These are the main ones. But if you can persist and stay dedicated to your gambling site, you can make it work!

You missed the most important thing "provably fair mechanism" ). No one will play with their own money in a non provably fair site, perhaps people will only play when there is free money such as big faucet, no deposit bonus or other giveaways.

"provably fair mechanism" is a must in today's casinos. Many players want to find if they are betting in a fair casino. They do not want to be cheated.
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you think the life of a professional gambler is a glamorous one? on: October 28, 2015, 12:58:33 PM
The life of a professional gambler is not a glamorous one. It will not be the same as shown on television. He has too many things to worry.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Simple Gambling Trick on: October 28, 2015, 12:54:39 PM
When you make a bet and starts feels you are about to loose then make cross bet so that you will not lose anything. It is far better to get something instead of loosing everything.

I am very curious to know if you have tried that strategy yourself. Did you win most of the time by using that strategy?
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting a living from Gmabling alone is possible? on: October 28, 2015, 12:51:20 PM
lol so we apply job to gambling company and get easy money from them and our first salary get played in their casino so we can give back our salary to them easily too  Cheesy . have you think if we get a job in gambling company would make us stay close to play gambling? i prefer gamble on sports it's very possible to make a living in long run.

Do you think most of us can live on sports gambling? If that is the case, there will be no sports betting company.
152  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree people barrow money for gambling? on: October 28, 2015, 12:19:38 PM
Yes alot of gamblers hide that fact. If you go to the "lending" section, many people lie about what they are borrowing the money for. And then you search someone's posts and if its in the gambling section, chances are they will be gambled with.

Full of shit reasons too in that section. That's why like this forum said, Prevention is Better than Cure. So have a collateral that at least 150% value of the loan or just don't do lending money.

Collateral is a good idea for borrowing large sum. If your friend ask you to borrow $50, do you want him to put his bike as a collateral?

154  Economy / Gambling / Re: Someone just won 52.800 BTC on Dragon's Tale on: October 28, 2015, 10:54:25 AM
So how much he won? 52,8 BTC or 52.800,00 BTC? That is a very big difference.I guess it's case 1 right?!
Still a nice amount which can you make wealthy one day. Congratz to the winner. But to be honest it's the first time I heard about this game ever.

Even 52 bitcoin is large amount. Will that put a dent on the capital of the casino? We want to casino to carry on as usual.
155  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Investing on: October 28, 2015, 09:48:42 AM
I think justdice, as it is a long-standing gambling website. The only problem is that they use an alt-coin called "clams". These are sometimes considered scam-coins as a few people own the majority of these.

Why do not they use other coins? One reason could be that they are supporter of Clam and Clam is a PoS coin. When user deposit Clams there, Justdice will earn interest with the coins.

Clam is the most held coin in crypt-currency history. Fairly distributed.
Like this many people now a days prefer alt coins to make dice gaming or any other gambling just not willing to risk their bitcoin. This will not letting out bitcoin from gambling industry.

Do you mean Clam has most users? I thought bitcoin or Doge, litecoin have more users. Do you think the site owner have some connections to the Clam community?
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 28, 2015, 08:17:59 AM
Don't think so any professional gamblers still making money every day unless after winning big money they just quit gambling then they may be still rich but if one continue gambling then surely they will lose money in gambling

If these professional gamblers make too much money, they will not allowed to gamble in the specific casino.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 28, 2015, 05:50:10 AM
Getting addicted to gambling must be a wrong effect of gambling. Every individual man is not alone in society. He must have either parents or spouse to be living with him or depending on him. So, getting addiction on gambling must be wrong and must avoid such a situation.

Addiction to gambling is not right. If we treat gambling as a way to pass time and enjoy the process, then it is fine.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 27, 2015, 07:19:40 PM
Earning depends on factors like game, time, budget. You can make a decent profit in short term but in long term it all depends on knowledge and luck of course.

Are you really sure about this we can make decent profit with gambling if we have enough money for it but i think that is really hard to make profit every time.

You are right. It is possible to make profit some time, but it is very difficult to make profit all the time or long term.
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin price bet ? on: October 27, 2015, 04:02:04 PM
Today it's possible to bet on anything, from weather to the next US president. But would it be possible to bet on Bitcoin price or on any other major crypto-currency price, like Dash, Doge, Ethereum or Litecoin ? With big price movements of Bicoin these past days it could be interesting Smiley.

Ever try sparkprofit? They have a bitcoin option, although the prize is not much, you can make a free bet.

LoL your question is make a bitcoin trading like a gambling(although it's almost same, but it's different actually) xD

This website seems interesting, but it's quite strange. This was like if they were giving away money ! This is too good to be true.

Did you wager some bet on their website? Did you win something? Did you get some free money form there?
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 27, 2015, 03:58:20 PM
Yeah you cant make much money but the good thing is you are not risking your own money so we can call it safe gambling

The small amount of bitcoin from faucets is good for learning how to play in a gambling site. It is quite safe.
