I expect a QB will be the 1st pick again, but 3 of them in the top 5? Tricky...
Another trick question.  Wink

Out of curiosity I just checked few mockup drafts and all of them predict 3 QB in top 3 so I guess chances that 3 end up in top 5 are pretty solid. If I actually took some time to research I would have answered "Yes" but of course I didn't and went with my gut feeling and answered "No".  Cheesy

If Cryptofka had written those in full and not jumbled them in with NBA and Euro basketball questions, we non-NFL fans would have had an easier time spotting it. But he's never been kind.

I'm giving up football after this season for the sake of my mental health. Beginning with the next NBA season, I will be a full-time Lakers fan. For Kobe ( RIP)

Buwaytress you can keep your football. I'm done. Thank you Chelsea.

The draft is often based on the players' prospect coming into the lottery and what the first team to pick would probably consider paramount for their franchise, it's still very tricky and we might not see 3 QBs in this years draft. I just think it will have been trickier if we needed to choose the amount QBs in the top 5 picks.

My bet on Jokic should be an easy hit, Jokic with a double-double already and it's still just the first quarter of the game, 3 rebounds more with 36 minutes left to play for should definitely be an easy reach for Jokic here  Smiley

Seems Jokic is giving us easy win because he is unstoppable, the only way the Lakers could win if they have a good shooting which they showed in game 2 but just fall short in the end. Jokic ended with triple double record, (27, 20, 10), insane numbers, it should be a another history for him I guess. Anyway congratulations mate.

All the games last night had the hometeams won their respective games, so it's 2-0 for all of them.

Now, we will have 3 games

Suns vs Wolves -3
Pacers vs Bucks -1
Dallas vs Clippers +2.5

I think betting on the road team is interesting, what are your thoughts here?

I think the road teams could be worth a shot today but the odds just aren't enticing enough so it's better to ride with home teams ML here than the road teams with a too low handicap line if you ask me, Dallas Mavericks are the only road team that could be worth backing ML, but they too have a couple of inexperienced players that's factoring into their entire result, but Kyrie and Doncic seem rather enough to carry this team, especially if Kawhi Leonard remains out for Clippers.

Indiana Pacers are way too playoffs game inexperienced for their own, and they look really out of sync or form in game, even without Giannis they'll need to correct a whole lot of things to be able force a long and interesting series for the Bucks, and the first things will be taking care of the ball and knocking down shots when they have the opportunities.

In BSFL, may we kick out all division 1 teams early Tongue

It's easier said than done, but I guess we'll see... More than half the pool will get eliminated by the time the qualifier and first round gets concluded, then I'm sure you'll have come to the acceptance that the division 1 guys aren't going down easily this season.

Crazy game 2 between the Lakers and the Nuggets. Everyone thought the Lakers are gonna steal the game 2 as they lead 20 pts at some pt in the 3rd quarter, but the Nuggets didn't give up, was able to establish momentum in the 4th. Though they did not take the lead, but Murray just made a buzzer beater to beat the Lakers by 2 pts.
Man, it looks like the Lakers really stand no chance against the Nuggets. They have not won against them for 2 years straight now lol.
Davis was almost perfect in the 1st half but totally disappeared in the 2nd half.
It looks the Lakers' chance to win this series is by miracle lol.

That was an epic game 2 and arguably the most interesting series of the first round so far. It was a true show of class, character and a great sense of urgency from the defending champions. LA Lakers only have themselves to blame after letting what could have been a great advantage before the series heads to Los Angeles slip through their fingers.

Davis issue began when the fouls started to mount up for and he became less physical and aggressive after picking up his fourth personal foul and had to sit at the score table for some while, when his presence on the court could have been well needed.

Nikola Jokic with yet another that performance that will further cement his name as one of the NBA players' all time best while still playing, It was a triple double performance, having scored a double-double in the 1st 12 minutes of the match, he was significantly quiet for majority of the 3rd but was able to find his stroke at the perfect timing while an all-night struggling Jamal Murray nailed the Lakers coffin with an impressive clutch time performance and buzzer beating dagger to heart of the Lakers faithfuls.

--------------

I don't think Lakers stands a chance in this series now, as I'll be backing the Nuggets to steal at least one of the next two games in LA on the road, however, Lakers have also shown that they can put any team on their toes and a run for their money too.

Looks a great bet decision to me, all the playoffs matches so far have been a massive Under on the total spread, and you can't easily expect yet another low scoring game from Magic and Cavs teams that usually go extremely cold for 2 or more quarters in every game, the 3rd and 4th Quarters are usually where they have their scoring inefficiency.
You are on point with that low-scoring second half when their pace got faster in the second quarter, the live totals shot back up from 196.5 to 203.5. I thought they'd start to put in more points after that change of pace, but things slowed down as they only scored 30-40 points in the last two quarters.

Good luck with your Jokic props he got 12 last meeting, so there's a good chance he'll get more than that.

Congratulations mate, that was pretty much the anticipation from the beginning of the game, very similar game to the game 1, this could be a sweep of a 4-1 for the Cavaliers imo.

I'm torn on which spread to take for the Cavs vs. Magic game. From what I can imagine, the Cavs would cruise again and win by double digits. Then again, the Magic showed they can always be a threat, during the third quarter of the first game, they almost clawed their way back from a double-digit deficit.

I'll wing it on the under 206.5 points and ride the under while it's hot as we could be in for another low-scoring game.

I've got another player props' bet for tonight and it's on the Joker for game 2 vs Lakers.

I'm going with Jokic Over 12.5 Rebs @ 1.90 Odds

I had no idea what I saw in Salah; he's been nothing but a headache since I got him; he's my captain, and he just dropped a stinker; I can only hope he returns with a brace against Everton's awful defence.

Nobody is taking about Buwaytress he's been low-key building from the back and now in second position from 4th position.

It's just taking a while for Salah to understand his role with whichever striker is partnered up there, and he's not getting enough minutes or consistency I think. He is playing all right, just he and Nunez are my vice and captains and didn't get enough minutes... Salah's low cross to Nunez should have been a goal usually Nunez just throws himself at it but this time he weirdly lost pace.

You're complaining about Salah ? after hitting a gem with Jean-Phillip Mateta ? I guess you'd have had more too to say if you've had Cunha only for it to blow back on your face. I had thought about Mateta too and Solanke for double, but going in too early cost me dearly one that.

Salah still have again to make amends and you can be sure that he'd get the nod there no doubt right ? I can't speak the same of Darwin (whom I've got), I knew it was just a matter of time before Jota finds his way back to the starting XI.

And the so much precious chip (bench boot) that I've been planning on its usage for the past 5-6 game weeks is now only going to be nothing short of significant adverse effect of my round, especially with Haaland out, Areola not playing and Doughty on negative points  Angry Typical FPL-chip curse.

Thiem almost not making it past qualifiers... going to double down on de Minaur, he gets to meet Nadal yet again. Question (truly want to learn), do the early draws happen very randomly or are seedings heavily determinant in the draw? Just wondering what the chances really were on a de Minaur v Nadal rematch.

Thiem actually hasn't qualified yet, he still has one more qualifying game to win in order to make it to the main draw, and his next match is against a better ranked player Kokkinakis (no. 93).

The draws aren't random by any stretch they happen according to rankings or seeds for the tour, even for the qualifiers they do have seeds for it as well. So whoever wins the last seeds position from the qualifiers by default gets to play the 1st seed for the tournament. For ATP 1000 events like the Madrid open most are usually a 64 man tournament with the top 8 seeded getting a bye for the first round (some have expanded to 96 players, meaning more bye for more players in the first round, e.g Indian Wells Open), meaning there are supposedly 58 players in total, the seeded 32 players are default by their atp rankings for those who are eligible for the tour, so the remaining 26 slots are battled for in the tournament qualifiers, in some cases it could be fewer, if the tournament features Wild Cards (WC) or players with protected ranking (PR), the latter as the case with Nadal currently is. Nadal are surely going at loggerheads again, provided Nadal wins his first game  Grin

Ah Harko, you pointed out my mistake. Indeed I answered No but that is my own fault for misreading the question. Nice tricky trick, so I actually lose this round haha. Cryptofrka the joker, make room for me.

Well done aand enjoy the gift mitchr4 you bastard.

I feel quite hard done by to have lost this round despite trailing by 2 points early into the match round! At first I needed just a win from the tennis question which looked clearly in my favor to even thing up for me, and finally I was really close to getting that point which I would have settled for gladly, Barcelona just needed not to lose the game for me to get that too. In the end, here we are, GG Darxi!

BSFL Season 4 - Cup

Complete Draw with placeholders until results from this round are done. This post will be edited tomorrow with team names from Div 1 and the bracket will be filled after the qualifying round is over.

1-10 are the first 10 placed teams in Div 1

I really love this infographic design  Wink

Best thing is no matter what happens for this round, I can't finish below the 10th spot, probably the best to happen today after Ruud ousted Tsitsipas in Barcelona open final, but then #9 and #10 are the group of death  Shocked

London men's just finished. 3 whole minutes below the current record, so we both got what we wanted. I felt this was a 50/50 -- records in marathon fall all the time as elite runners get better and better, women's set a new one today, but I thought that it needed a gap year. Guessed right.

I do need Barca to not lose tonight though!

Oh yeah! Now I just need Real to win with more than 3,5 total goals and it will be my first win this season. Come on Real, you can do it for me Grin
Below is such a poor choice of word in this case, slower would be much better Smiley I think I deduced correctly that No was the correct answer then. Don't know where to actually check marathon so I will let my colleague grade it. Going to work on cup draw now.

I believe the question was "If the previous record will remain unbroken". So, Yes should be the correct answer for that question.

Liverpool with the best set of fixtures for the double game week, but with Salah, Nunez, Szoboszlai and Mac Allister all being on the bench, Please, explain fuckery \fʌckery\ in a more subtle and simpler term, I'll wait.

I was able to grab some Props' bet in the playoffs game 1 matches from yesterday, Jamal Murray 6.5 Assist @ 1.90 was my favorite for the night.

The first games have been low scoring so I won't be going for Over/Under bets just yet and I'll be sticking to the player props' bets for now;

I've got Jason Tatum Over 8.5 Rebounds @ 2.05 for the first game of today;

The Heat didn't specifically shoot the ball so well in either of their play-in matches and with Butler still out, I'd expect the same and more efforts from behind the arc, while the Celtics aren't best known for giving out tons of offensive rebounds, I'm expecting Jason to be highly active in that area If Porzingis does get very well above his average minutes of the regular season.

Ah, I get it. I thought that you were writing about the whole round. I thought I was going crazy Grin Anyway, if I manage to turn this around, it will be my biggest comeback in the entire competition Smiley I need Real to win with over 3,5 goals in total and London marathon record not to be broken.

I do need Barca to not lose tonight though!

YNWA!!!

That makes two of us, but the first real test for me begins in approximately 30 minutes from now, and Tsitsipas vs Ruud, I need Tsitsi big on this one, Barcelona could still go either way and we both get it wrong, but my biggest form advantage would lie in Tsitsipas getting pass Ruud for this one!
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 21, 2024, 03:26:41 AM
Tsitsipas dancing on the edge for me, now I have a feeling he'll crush Ruud. Ruud looked better so far though.

It's actually a funny encounter here for both players who both played against each just a week ago in the Monte Carlo final, a game which the Greek swept Ruud in straight and fun fact is only one of their 6 H2H have not ended in straight, 4-2 in favor Tsitsipas, given that he blew Ruud away in the last game, this could be something revenge oriented affair. I find it a bit surprising that Tsitsipas is the very marginal underdog according to bookies, I expected him to be the fav here, given that recent encounter, but as you've said Ruud indeed have looked somewhat better this week, but that's against opponents that aren't Stefano right ? So it shouldn't matter, I suppose.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 20, 2024, 07:35:14 PM
Anyway Tsitsipas delivered most of the pool's expectation so its another classic Tsitsipas - Ruud final like last week. Tsitsipas should be able to win this one given that the surface is clay. It would be epic if he win another one here after winning last week

A Tsitsipas win would get me back on level terms here and I really need it.

Man City is out of the equation now, so there is only Barcelona vs Real Madrid left for the decider.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 19, 2024, 07:46:15 PM
Indeed. I didn't think he would have that many issues during the game as clay is his best surface, isn't it?

Yeah statistically he won 4 titles on clay and the last one was a week ago but the thing with Tsitsipas is that, he is quite unpredictable. I almost thought he would lose tonight though after losing the first set but it was still pretty close game for my taste

Extremely unpredictable, that's Tsitsipas! He was fazed with a couple of match points today but he overcame them, even though he secured an early break of serve in the 3rd set and one would have expected him to see that through a bit easier than what turned out to be a need for a tie break to win the set and match.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 19, 2024, 07:26:30 PM

Domantas doesn't play for the US; he plays for Lithuania, a European team. Another notable player that played for that team is Jonas Valanciunas of the Pelicans, but yeah, having a Sabonis-type player on the US team is really a great help for the team. But I think most of the players included are deserving of being there. It is a combination of young and seasoned veterans, as well as a mixture of offense and defense, so I think this team is complete and ready to avenge the US in the Olympics. A player that I am questioning here is Embiid. I know that he is 30 and, of course, he also wants to win a gold medal in his career since it is a good accolade for him, but playing for the US? I mean, he's from Cameroon, so he should be representing that country. But with him living in the US for half of his life and having his son as an American citizen, I think it is fair to say that he is good at playing for the US.

I don’t like AD to be on this line-up since Embiid is already enough. Only the chemistry will decide if this team will work or flop since other international team has a lot of training together compared to this US team that has a limited time to workout for their chemistry.

Embiid is enough? I don't think so. I hope you have realized that the only legitimate Center on this line up is only Embiid and Davis. If you say Bam Adebayo, well he is undersized for a Center position, he will not match the European players who plays at the Center position. If you say Embiid is enough, who's gonna occupy the Center position in the 2nd unit?
Now, as for the team chemistry, I don't think they'll have a major problem about it.

I think I might even prefer Anthony Davis in the said roster compared to Embiid who is clearly still recovering from a major surgery, Anthony Davis is very versatile and also a two-way player, and with Lebron on the roster you can only anticipate a deeper chemistry between them.

Bam Adebayo is sole backup center would likely be a failed project, because Bam Adebayo is indeed undersized for a center playing against the new approach of teams which favors playing highly sized players for forward and center roles, Bam would definitely struggle against a French team for instance pairing Wemby and Gobert as F and C.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: April 19, 2024, 06:09:47 PM
Some things are much clearer now though - with both City and Arsenal out of the CL and in the title challenge, their key players will play 90 minutes each.

I'll switch my team according to that, but so will the rest of the league. I expect top 10 to rotate the same 15 players.

Unlike Arsenal where you can anticipate and predict the starting the lineup for each game, being out of the UCL might probably not make any difference in what to anticipate from Guardiola, to be honest, maybe except Ederson in goal, I don't know who from the Man City squad is guaranteed a premium playing time.

because we just don't know what OP did in the past that Stake is not allowing him. Hem must be banned already. You will also be affected if he does something crazy again in your name.

And more so, it is just a matter of time before players like the OP gets banned or restricted again, and the first thing you'll see from them is a new thread here claiming the platform have defrauded them of their money, without stating the atrocities and violations they've committed themselves.
