141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin is no longer digital cash? on: April 18, 2024, 05:30:35 PM
I ask this question because I wonder what Bitcoin will become now that the financial institutions and meme coin advocates have taken over.

If Bitcoin is not peer-to-peer electronic cash then how do you see it?

The right answer is: As a digital asset.

Simple as that, and if bitcoin isn't money or digital cash in your country, then you always have to option to move to another country that considers Bitcoin as money, a good option is El Salvador. But the question here is, do we really want to use bitcoin as money? if you want to buy a coffee cup, would you be happy to pay more than $1 in fees for that coffee cup? Bitcoin was made to move big amounts of money and not for daily use. That's his role. Just like gold, i want to see you paying a coffee cup with gold or with diamonds, you cant.
142  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Recomendación (UE) 2024/1101 -> Transición hacia criptografía postcuántica on: April 18, 2024, 04:04:13 PM

With 2.5 million tickets at $25 each, it totals to a gross of $62.5M; the player's aggregate pool is $52M, leaving $10.5M gross for the company (and between investors, servers, salaries, taxes, this'll reduce further to the actual profits).

Only $10.5 Millions for the company... Ok...

Now let's take a look at some of your TOS because something isn't looking fine to me.

Quote
Miscarried and Aborted Games
C. In case of a system malfunction, all wagers are deemed void.
If your engine fail the users lose their wager, but why? If your engine was the one that fails, you should give back the money to the players in that scenario.

Withdrawals
C. Withdrawals in fiat currencies may be subject to a fee of up to 10% depending on the withdrawal method.

Why 10% fees on withdrawal, even if that's fiat still a huge amount.

145  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quinto.Games Windfall Lottery 🂡🂮🂭🂫🂪 | KICK-OFF AND PRE-SALE TICKETS NOW on: April 17, 2024, 04:44:44 PM
This is fun... let's do some math with the information we have on https://www.quinto.games/why-windfall-lottery

Quote
Windfall Lottery has 2,500,000 tickets, each with 125 unique picks. There are 312,500,000 picks within the lottery. The Windfall Lottery is unique because it will generate every possible play permutation throughout all the tickets sold; meaning there will be at least one jackpot winner.

The Company wagering is in units called Quintoshi symbolized by () and is equivalent to one US dollar ($1.00). Windfall Lottery ticket price is 25.00 (0.20 per pick) and it doesn’t matter if your wager was in dollars, euros, or any other currency as The Company uses the prevailing exchange rate a the time of purchase.

Windfall Lottery offers some of the best odds in the industry with a 1 in 0.125 chance of winning any prize on a single ticket and a 1 in 2,495,001.60 chance of winning the Jackpot Prize of an estimated 15,000,000.00.

So, there are 2.5 Million tickets and each ticket has a cost os $25, while the jackpot is $15M. With that known price of the tickets if you sell them all then the house gets $62,500,000, then let's rest the jackpot of $15M and the total profit from selling all the tickets would be $47,500,000.

So i have two questions.

Why should we make you a millionaire?
Why your house edge is close to 300%?
146  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Github – descargas con regalito (clipboard hijacking) on: April 17, 2024, 03:53:34 PM

https://docs.virustotal.com/reference/overview

148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An interesting story and experience of a gambler on: April 17, 2024, 02:01:27 PM
That's a sad story, and 100% emotional gambling, as he says, it doesn't matter how big the win is, for a gambling addict is never enough. But he already do the first step to solve the problem and that's to recognize that he have a problem, so, he is not on the wrong way right now.

And winning huge to lose it all is something that happens every day in casinos, i know it sucks, but is how casinos work.

150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC Fighter Renato Moicano Wants Bonus Paid in Bitcoin on: April 16, 2024, 07:17:43 PM
lol, he didn't win any bonus at UFC 300, the winner from the bonus was Max Holloway. And holloway not only wins 1 bonus, but he also wins 2 bonuses for a total of 600k. Moicano knows Max won those bonuses playing clean and he even sent a message to Max saying "Huge congratulations to Max Holloway... 600k bonus he absolutely deserves!!!".

So, if he wants a 300k bonus in Bitcoin, first he needs to win that bonus.
151  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where do i find sister sites to the following... (22bet, spinbetter, 1win) on: April 16, 2024, 07:00:32 PM
I feel like you shouldn't be searching by template (skin), you should look for sites that offer sports books, the most popular here are bc.game, stake... or at least those are the ones i play on and that i recommend. If you are getting banned from other sites that means you are making some kind of abuse. Be careful with that because any abuse will ban your account on any site. I hardly recommend you to read the rules and ToS on the news sites where you will open an account.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about videos on mistakes in gambling sites and games? on: April 16, 2024, 04:24:19 PM
One of the striking things after the changes that have occurred in gambling is the appearance of people on social media  and YouTube channels publishing videos of them discovering loopholes in games and casinos. Of course, most of this videos are fabricated, and no one can blame the owners of these channels, as their goal is clear, which is to obtain the largest number of views ,despite providing poor content and misleading information.

Some of those videos are fake or edited videos, but we can find a lot of videos of live casinos where the dealer fails or where things go wrong, we have a lot of examples from the blackjack tables and the crazy time fails. I have seen more than 20 videos of these mistakes and is normal when you are dealing with live providers, something things go wrong.

Personally, i like the one in crazy time where the wheel keeps spinning to infinite, that shows us how rigged that wheel is.
153  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: solve key 66 67 Puzzle how to avoid double spends the tx? on: April 16, 2024, 12:25:11 AM
assuming you hit the private key can you share a method or a secure way to get these coins without double spend
Let's say you found the private key, the first step would be to change the Private key Hexadecimal format to WIF. And you DON'T want to do this with an online tool, all has to be done from your PC.

For this, you can use the "Bitcoin Address Utility" https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_Address_Utility or any other tool.

Code:
$ bu YourHexPrivateKey

Then, you can import the WIF private key to a wallet like Electrum, or an online wallet like Blockchain.com But i hardly recommend to do this under a Linux Computer, if you want to do it from Windows there could be some risks.

which is faster to get confirmation
sending to segwit 3
or to legacy

appreciate any help and advise
The speed of the confirmations is based on the fees you use and not on the type of address. If you want a fast confirmation then verify how much you need to pay to have a confirmation in the next block, for that you can use the next site: https://mempool.space/ Right now 58 sat/vB is a high priority.

And about your double spend fear, there is no way someone else double spend the coins if they don't have the Private Keys.

HTML
Code:
  <h1>Cryptos.Host Provably Fair Verification</h1>
  <label for="cSeed">Enter Client Seed (Decimal):</label>
  <input type="text" id="cSeed"><br>
  <label for="sSeed">Enter Server Seed (Hexadecimal):</label>
  <input type="text" id="sSeed"><br>
  <button onclick="verify()">Verify</button>
  <div id="result"></div>

JS:

Code:
    function XOR(c, s) {
      let o = '';
      for (let i = 0; i < c.length; i++) {
        const a = parseInt(c.charAt(i), 16);
        const b = parseInt(s.charAt(i), 16);
        o += (a ^ b).toString(16);
      }
      return o;
    }

    function pfResult(cSeed, sSeed) {
      const resHex = XOR(('0000000'+cSeed.toString(16)).substr(-8), sSeed);
      return {resHex: resHex, resInt: parseInt(resHex, 16)};
    }

    function verify() {
      const cSeed = parseInt(document.getElementById('cSeed').value);
      const sSeed = document.getElementById('sSeed').value;
      const result = pfResult(cSeed, sSeed);
      document.getElementById('result').innerHTML = `Result (Hex): ${result.resHex}<br>Result (Integer): ${result.resInt}`;
    }

155  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mining 0.02$ on: April 15, 2024, 09:10:03 PM
The problem here is, how can we trust you?

Let's say we send you 1BTC, and you buy the miners and start with the farm, at any moment you could just disappear and avoid any kind of contact again, there is no way that we could recover our investment. The only way to make this fair and secure for the investors is with collateral, we send you 1 BTC for the miners, then you send 1 BTC to the collateral, if you decide to walk away with the money then we could recover it from the collateral.
156  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Open source tools to convert uncommon private keys on: April 15, 2024, 06:59:52 PM
Before anything, is important to remember there is a huge risk each time you put your privatekey on any site, so, be careful about it, that way you are compromising your Keys, and isn't a smart move at all.

Now, i would like to recommend this service for learning purposes. https://secretscan.org/PrivateKeyHex

That site not only lets us convert any kind of private key to the address, it gives us the value from each step of the conversion, and that is awesome. But never use a personal private key for it, that would be a big mistake.
157  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: solve key 66 67 Puzzle how to avoid double spends the tx? on: April 15, 2024, 06:26:47 PM
If the pubkey is revealed,may someone use BSGS algorithm to crack the privkey and double spend the coins? Huh

The public key is already known information, but that is not enough to crack the private key, and if someone get's access to the private key first they need to spend the coins before be able to double spend it. But looks like you are lost in the topic, what op means is.

Let's say someone finds the private key from puzzles 66 and 67, if they spend the coins and make public the private key, som users could use that private key to make a double spend from the same coins and if they use bigger fees then they could steal those coins. But the way to avoid that is to not make public the private key until it has more than 1 confirmation.

As a poker player, I have seen myself in the same situation where I have a special event and a poker tournament at the same time.

Even i remember the final game of the Bitcoin Talk Poker tournament, where is was on a trip, and played the tournament from my phone on the highway, was fun to finish that one in 3th place. But I don't blame Neymar, sometimes it happens.

160  Economy / Gambling / Re: unlimitedmoneyglitch.com | Crypto Market and Casino All-In-One on: April 14, 2024, 05:55:26 PM
You need to fix your website, it doesn't look/work fine at all...

This is what i see when i open it:

And the way that you manage the provably fair it wrong because you are showing just a part of the code where it generates the rounds using a random function, but that could be easily rigged by the house side. So, better if you offer a secret seed before the next round that way users can verify each bet and be sure about the fairness of the game.
