1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 27, 2023, 04:46:38 PM
Is it safe to say that casino platforms is running their business with users find only? I read somewhere that they pay winners with losers money, I couldn't ask him or her if a casino can start business with zero fund at hand...

People without money can't run casinos, at least you need money to pay the servers and the service providers. Gambling licenses aren't cheap at all, so, you need one of those too.  So, if you are paying for all that stuff you should at least have some bankroll in the house to pay at least 10 max wins. i think with that you can operate a casino. But without a bankroll the site will only destroy its reputation.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When was your last Royal Fush? on: January 27, 2023, 12:32:06 PM
As much as I want a royal flush, I have never actually gotten one. I suppose that the odds of getting a royal flush are extremely low. Beyond minuscule. And honestly I would not ever count on getting one. But man, how amazing of a feeling must it be to win with a hand like that? At that point when you realize how good your hand is, you plan a strategy of going all in without alerting anyone of your imminent and indisputable win. Grin

And that's what they call 'The nuts', is that moment in poker when you realize that you have the best possible hand with the current cards on the table. And to have Royal flush as the nuts would be something epic.

I don't think to go all in would be the bets move, that would make your opponent fold. the best way would be to go slow, first check and see if the opponent wants to do a bluff, and if he doesn't,t then play as if you have the intention to bluff him.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best sportsbooks? (MMA and boxing) on: January 27, 2023, 12:23:57 PM
Stake and Nitro could be the best options for some high rolling. But get ready to provide all your data on their KYC process. That's how it works nowadays.

I like to place sports bets on betnomi because the multiplier they offer is a little bigger, isn't a big difference, but it certainly has an impact in the long run. That's why all my sports bets have been placed in that site since some months ago.

1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My step to promote bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 02:58:31 PM
This is a nice move from OP, we need more users like him.

For me the best way to promote bitcoin has been talking about it to familiars and friends, I wake up their interest in them talking about my experiences with the crypto. And some of them already invest in it and are happy with the experience. While more they know about bitcoin more they want to learn.
1126  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Exchange Business on: January 25, 2023, 06:26:26 PM
My plan is to create an app like paypal for people to make online transactions with venders. The app would only host one main coin that I would like to create as a  safecoin for people to use as currency for the venders.

Creating a Paypal App and a New coin is an enormous project... Just too complex to be done by anyone, I don't say it's impossible, but it's really complex. And if you want to hire a developer for this it will have a high price and the project will take a long time.

Y would recommend not wasting time on a project like this because making it a reality will be really hard. And if you really decide to move on with the project, then I wish you good luck.
1127  Local / Español (Spanish) / ¿Te gustaría que Bitcoin fuera PoS? on: January 25, 2023, 05:25:00 PM

1128  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: January 25, 2023, 04:55:35 PM
The withdraw fees are a tricky move for some casinos to get some extra money on each withdrawal, I mean, casinos like bethash who change 0.002btc on withdrawal fees don't spend those fees in the transaction, they spend the min and keep the rest for their pockets. I don't like this move at all, it feels like abuse, but is the decision of the users if play on those sites.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 24, 2023, 11:27:01 PM
1. Casino A:
Normal casino where players play Slot games, BlackJack, Rollet, baccarat, Crazy, and the rest of casino games with the chance of winning large chunk of money.

2. Casino B:
PvP casino where players compete against each others in games such as Poker, Rummy, Ludo, 8Pool, Monopoly, Race Cars, Flipcoin, etc..., with the prize being your opponents buy-in amounts

I select casino B, because if feel there is a bigger chance to win than casino A. But here the main difference is the winning amounts. In casino A we could hit a crazy multiplier in slots and get an x1000 profit, while casino B only gives us the chance to double up our money on each bet.

So, the answer is about how greedy we are, if we want a big multi with a big chance to lose all A is the right casino, and if we want to build something slow but secure then B is the right casino.
1130  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Cripto Invierno Genera Ola De Despidos. on: January 24, 2023, 08:12:09 PM

1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [btc]-cookies on: January 24, 2023, 02:49:42 PM
Those cookies with morning coffee would be the best way to start the day.

I was looking in Ali for some mold with the bitcoin shape, we can use them to make cookies, ice, and chocolate. So, is a good idea to get a couple of them.

aliexpress.com/item/1005002673270773.html

The prize is lower than $1, so, anyone could get some and start making their bitcoin cookies. Thanks to OP for sharing this idea. I love it.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 02:41:00 PM
What do you think about this claim? Is he right or wrong?

The fact that online gambling is more accessible doesn't make gambling more addictive, the addiction to gambling is the same in any of its presentations. If a user is addicted to gambling then he will drive to reach the casino without any problems.

If a user realizes he has a gambling addiction, to blame the casinos is worthless, he should work on his addiction and not blame how easy is to access the casinos.
1133  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: January 24, 2023, 02:35:30 PM
Here the question is. Do we want to end bitcoin volatility?

I think volatility is the best part of bitcoin because we can make huge profits just by holding our coins, and that is how people become rich with bitcoin, buy low and sell high, that's how it works. And bitcoin without volatility wouldn't be as cool as it is right now. It's an investor's tool to hit the moon. So, no one wants to end its volatility.

1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 23, 2023, 06:32:41 PM
I don't think is a bad idea to use your own token for a casino, but I don't think it would be attractive for users at all because they need to exchange the token to get the real money, and if the market doesn't have the solvency then they huge wins will not be paid at all.

There are some casinos who already implemented this idea, and to make it work the toke need to have a nice backup in the market. That way users can trust the token.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Online Gambling Fraud on: January 23, 2023, 02:31:08 PM
I would like to add another point to that list.

7. social engineering (Soft begging)

I have seen a lot of times people in the casinos chat telling some really sad stories with the intention of touching other users' hearts and that way receiving some coins. We can call it the shame speech.

Sometimes it works and other times they just get ignored but is a practice that has become more common nowadays, and users must be careful with this practice.
1137  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Timechain Calendar on: January 23, 2023, 02:17:28 PM
This is an awesome project, i liked a lot the user interface, and the fact that time is measured by each block makes it really easy to navigate.

I feel the project needs a little more of SEO because the title of the site is the current block, and is a nice feature to have it that way, but it isn't good for the search engines indexing. It should have the name of the project and then the current block.

And another feature that I would like to see in this time machine is the bitcoin forks. That would be nice.
1138  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 22, 2023, 10:34:12 PM
What is your advice?

This I a bad idea because as you mention, if the price drops then your friend could have some problems paying back the money.

Would be nice to know more details about what kind of loan is she getting, the time and the interest are important factors for the decision, if it's a long-term loan with a low interest then it could work fine. But if the interest is high, then is not a good business at all to do it.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When was your last Royal Fush? on: January 22, 2023, 08:12:37 PM
Apart from that I have also seen extremely improbable events, like having a poker on the flop and ending up losing on the river versus top poker or straight flush.

I know that feeling, I have got some of those crazy hands too, my last one was a 99, on the table there were 2-5-6, then the next card was 9, I go all in with my 999 and the other guy shows 66. At this point there was only 1 card that could make me lose, and that was the last 6. Well, it happen, the last card was a 6 giving him a poker and I lose that one. I was mad, the odds were 99% on my side and I lost that one.
1140  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for feedback on my new bitcoin site! on: January 22, 2023, 07:35:57 PM
Are you planning to monetize the traffic on your site? I would recommend creating your own ads with a referral or affiliate links to casinos or exchanges, that way you could get some extra income from the visits.

The site is nice, I like how simple it is and it's easy to navigate. The Explorer design is a nice one too, but I'm not sure at all what is the 'I'm feeling lucky' button for.

And one last recommendation it to hide the log in button since it's only for admin, users should reach that link.
